Fantastic experience: what a lovely friendly home. Clean and comfortable. Rudy the owner , made us feel welcomed and safe.We helped with the hens in the morning after breakfast and walked to the train station for our next adventure . A true taste of Scottish hospitality!

Negative experience: Horrible experience. The owner or spokesperson was so rude and impatient. He couldn't stop calling me in between office meetings and cancelled my booking because I couldn't reach in time. I directly got an email that my reservation had been cancelled for both days for 'no show' when I just couldn't reach in time for first night. Was forced to take another place for the 2nd night. Surely won't recommend such service to anyone.
Dear Nick, thank you for your lovely review. We can advise that you are nothing but an obnoxious rude and arrogant individual and the opinion of yours does not matter, you are very insignifcant,. Your views are totally wrong and incorrect, you never once can answer your phone, there must be a reason behind that. Very odd. Strange man. You made ZERO effort to contact the property directly or via email. You completely ignored our emails calls and texts and continue to do so. You clearly have nothing better to do with your time than to sit writing reviews on fantasy land trips that you never went on.

Positive experience: We were due to sail from nearby Oban on a cruise and the host was very helpful in assisting us with parking so we were able to leave our car nearby. Clean rooms in a pleasant village with trains to Oban and Glasgow.

Positive experience: We were really impressed with our stay here I was in a twin room with my son and my partner was in a double with the dog. We were given a very reasonable price and the tea tray was great. Yes there was a shared WC but we never had a problem with that. A very family and dog friendly night spent. Ruairidh was welcoming and kind. He also slipped out some some extra hot chocolate and biscuits to take away which went down a treat. We had clean beds and a good nights sleep so we couldn’t ask for more than that.

Negative experience: Worse place i have been.. bed had 2 flat pillow and another in the wardrobe no slip ..no headboard so you leaned on wall bed moved forward . Only had paper cups no spoons ..to have a drink...shared bathroom no bath matt so after you have a shower you dry up with your own towel.. more like a hostel...

Having verified that nobody stayed at the property by the name of Thomas Honeywell, it is apparent that your review is inaccurate and untrue or alternatively that you infact gave false information to book your stay with us here at Taynuilt Guest House, it is also worthy of nothing any images you have posted are not the way we provide our bedrooms as standard. You have placed these items in this position or you have asked somebody else to. Each guest who arrives will know that because nobody would ever experience a bed like that at our property. There are pillow slips and additional pillows in each wardrobe in each room in addition to the two pillows that are on the bed, which are not flat, in addition to that each room is provided with several clean fresh white towels and the bathroom has ample towels to use to dry up each room is also complimented with a welcome tray which contains several items and includes purpose made Lavazza take away cups.
Fantastic experience: Very warm welcome from Ruairidh when we turned up soaking wet through on a cycling trip. Hot homemade soup brought up to the room for us as we got cleaned up and our bikes brought inside and looked after for the night. Comfy and warm room and great hospitality. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Just stayed at Aros guest house for two nights with a pal and my dog. What a great wee place! Owner was great chat, and was so nice with things like making us nice coffees in the morning and giving us some cakes when checking out. Was great to meet their pets too! We'll be back for sure. Great value and very clean. Location is great as well, loads in the area and a good dog friendly pub right next to it. Great place.
