Negative experience: Title: Jet2 Took Our Money — We Had to Pay Hotel Again to Avoid Being Stranded Review: Disgusted by Jet2. My mother has stage 4 cancer and couldn’t travel. Jet2 refused to refund the flights, which they accepted. So my brother and I paid for new flights to use the hotel that had already been paid for. When we arrived 4 days into our holiday, Jet2 cancelled the hotel booking — but kept all the money. We were locked out of the room, our belongings trapped in the hotel safe, and told we had to pay again or leave. We’ve just had to pay the hotel ourselves just to avoid being stranded, even though Jet2 had already been paid in full. Jet2 delivered no hotel, no service, and no care. They abandoned us abroad while keeping all the money. Avoid at all costs. A company with no compassion or responsibility.

Fantastic experience: This was the second time we (Family of 4 incl 2 kids) have used Jet2 to fly to Portugal. What a great experience. Staff as always very very friendly and very welcoming and even had a good sense of humour, which is really good when you have kids that may be apprehensive about the whole airport experience. The check-in was swift, the boarding was efficient and the planes were clean and tidy. I highly recommend them and we will absolutely be using Jet2 on our next holidays. These are the type of experiences that make us choose the holiday destination based on the carrier rather than the location itself, keep up the fantastic standard Jet2.
Negative experience: Used them before, was alright. Booked a holiday with two other families now in April, two families flew on Friday, the other due to fly on Saturday. Upon landing, the family due to fly Saturday rang me to let me know the hotel we have booked had a fire in the morning at 5am local time(turkey). Jet2 rang them at 2pm UK time to let them know their holiday has been cancelled, full refund and 100 pounds extra for lack of enjoyment. Us however, the two families flying Friday were left hanging for two hours trying to find the booking at a replacement hotel. Jet2 should have just stopped us from flying in the first place, but no, we were relocated to *Green nature diamond* hotel which had none of the facilities we were looking forward to use at *Grand Yazici Marmaris Palace*. There is literally nothing to do at green nature diamond besides drinking and sleeping. Kids have nothing to do besides mini club. To cut the story short, very disappointed in JET2 holidays. Wish I had not booked this holiday with them, completely ruined our plans.
Fantastic experience: First flight from Bournemouth to Tenerife with Jet2 and it was very good. A good meet and greet at the airport and no queues. The cabin service was good and seemed to have sufficient cabin crew to provide the service. The transfer to the hotel was in a brand new coach and efficient. The only negative I found was that the width of the seats seemed v narrow.
Fantastic experience: Just returned from another faultless holiday experience with Jet2 in Morocco. Gr8 Service and good value for money.

Negative experience: Our outbound flight departed on time. Upon arrival, we encountered several inconveniences with the resort transfer service. We were initially boarded onto a transfer coach, only to be disembarked shortly after and informed of a switch to a smaller vehicle due to road restrictions. A subsequent 30-minute wait in the heat ensued before the replacement coach arrived. Once on board, we experienced discomfort due to a malfunctioning air conditioning system. Despite these initial setbacks, our stay at the resort was pleasant. However, our return journey proved equally problematic. We were notified that our return transfer would not be directly from our hotel, but rather from a bus stop a 10-minute walk away. This required us to carry our luggage through the heat. Upon reaching the airport, we were met with further delays as Jet2’s systems were experiencing technical difficulties, leading to extended check-in times. The most significant disruption occurred during boarding. A Jet2 representative abruptly announced the need for 30 volunteers to disembark due to a crew member’s illness. When insufficient volunteers came forward, a decision was made to offload passengers based on booking order. While we were fortunate to remain on the flight, the entire process was handled in a manner that fell short of our expectations of Jet2’s usual high standards. The lack of empathy and professionalism displayed by the Jet2 staff was particularly disappointing.
Fantastic experience: Looking for a break and don't want to worry about extras the Jet2Holidays are just the best. From booking, to friendly staff everywhere, this is my go-to company for long and short holidays. Just got back from Morocco for a long weekend and wanted to say thanks to Fouad who was exceptional and deserves a pay rise ❤️ If you find my sunglasses my friend let me know . Thank you Jet2
Negative experience: Pire compagnie du monde. Je vous deconseille fortement de voyager avec cette compagnie. Ils arnaquent les gens sans pitié et refuse de vous rembourser par la suite. Je regrette d’avoir voyager avec eux. Le voyage était CATASTROPHIQUE le personnel extrêmement désagréable et je ne parle même pas des retards incroyable du à leurs surbooking. Fantastic experience: I'm currently in Icmeler Turkey and the day that I arrived I left my wallet on the transfer bus. The staff at the hotel (Oren) called the rep 'Sandra' which was her day off and she helped locate it. A couple of days later she then arrived with my wallet, I was speechless. Panic over. Thank you Sandra.
Positive experience: Our first time flying with Jet2 and they compare favourably with other airlines at this price point. The first staff we encountered at baggage drop were friendly and helpful and this set the tone throughout. The flights themselves were punctual and the aircraft were modern and clean, if a little spartan. The seats are thinly padded and do not recline but this does at least mean that legroom is more generous than some others. In flight meals are obviously a paid extra at this level but the food we did purchase was far more satisfying than that served on more expensive airlines. Luggage allowance is also generous for a budget airline. Organisation at the destination was also good with plenty of staff on hand to direct passengers to their transfers or issue holiday packs. So what more could Jet2 do to earn the full five stars? The option of WiFi on the flight would be helpful (and is available on other budget carriers we have used) but the single biggest thing that they could do to improve the passenger experience would be to better manage the onboard temperature. On both our outbound and inbound journeys the cabin was very warm to the point of stifling – so much so that more than one passenger was taken ill and required attention. I recognise that it’s impossible to fully satisfy 186 passengers with different tolerances for heat and cold but if the policy of the airline is to keep the aircraft at the warmer end of the spectrum then at least ensure that the individual overhead air supply is sufficiently powerful to offer relief. As it was the cool air on offer felt like it was being delivered by an asthmatic mouse blowing through a straw. Ineffective at best.

Negative experience: Absolutely awful airline, extremely loud adverts, pilot announcement is mumbled and incoherent. Staff were very loud and crass and very unprofessional. We flew back with Sunexpress which was a much better flight with professional staff.
Negative experience: Have two holidays booked with jet2. One to Portugal in 4 days another to Tenerife in October. Jet2 just informed us the flights have been changed to Smartlynx. The reviews on this airline are all terrible. If you are thinking of booking a jet2 holiday, think again!!!!! Wow! Gave them another chance this year. Booked an holiday to Majorca. Booked and paid for our seats whilst booking. Now with 27 days to our holiday, they have changed our seating without informing us. Sitting children on their own. Spreading our family around the plane. Communicated with them on WhatsApp, they replied "our terms and conditions allow us to do this". I have advised them English Law demands we get what we pay for. What awful customer service.
Fantastic experience: Just flew out from Bristol earlier today, from the moment we arrived at Bristol met by friendly staff and was very quickly checked in, flight left on time and the crew were all also very friendly. Great first experience for us with Jet2 from beginning to end of our trip with them today!
Negative experience: Booked a 7 day holiday with 2 young kids, checked out hotel at 12 & have to wait 5 and a half hour for coach transfer! Super late flights.
Negative experience: Yet again for the third year running have changed our flight times. We paid for decent flight due to having young grandchildren in our party. Received an e-mail over the weekend moving our return flight to a later time. They want us to pay £50 per person to move to a better flight, but offer you nothing moving you to a later flight. Poor customer relations! Will be booking with Tui next year.

See Photos- As a level 10 Googe Local Guide with over 93 million views, I am disappointed with the Jet2 customer service. We booked the H10 Puerto De La Cruz Hotel in Tenerife as an 80 th Birthday special event. We paid EXTRA for a Superior Sea view room with balcony (Checking online- superior rooms are 25sq m) We were really disappionted on arrival to be given a much smaller room with a side rooftop view (18 sq m). When we asked the Hotel for the room we had paid for we were told- The Hotel is full, you arrived too late (circa 4 p.m.), and you will have to wait until tomorrow. Jet2 were immediatley informed via their chatbot, as we had no way of contacting the tour rep. That meant we wasted a whole day, unable to unpack until we finally got the room we had paid for the next afternoon. As in all cases, it is the cover up that gets you! when we finally got to see the tour rep 6 days after our complaint they did not agree that we had been down graded, and although other tour operators charged lower prices for smaller rooms , Jet2 did not specify room size. My logic that a Sea view room of 25 sq m could not be classed as superior if it was smaller at 18 sq m.I think most people would agree that it was inferior. Your local rep disagreed. I dont know which school the marketing department went to, but when I went to school, 18=25 was not a pass answer in mathematics. !!! However, the tour rep did agree that maybe showing the same seaview photo online for all the rooms was maybe incorrect or a little disingenious. Moreover, Jet2 and this hotel has form, as we have seen other reviews online with exactly the same complaint. If there had been a swift apology, or explanation, perhaps even a glass of wine, it would have been swiftly forgotten, but to trot out, and stick to what we used to call in the old days 'a load of bull' is not acceptable. No problems at all with the flight, but I would be very wary of booking a jet 2 hotel holiday in future. Actually I believe very view people would agree that the superior sea view room we paid for could in any way be represented by the photo of the room we were initiallyb given. we look forward with pleasure to Jet2's response!
Negative experience: Booking reference-14779745/S24H I have always been a jet2Holiday customer since 2009, my customer experience and the quality of the holidays been chosen and booked, give me assurance that me and my family were always looked after. This year it wasn't the same feeling unfortunately, as the past year we travelled with friends on a jet2 holiday package, 4 families total 16 people and it was a great experience the least I can say. When we tried to repeat the same experience, we found a deal, the price at the time we choose the destination and the hotel were nearly £2.9K, by the time we checked out for all the families the price jumped to be £3.5K a family for 4 nights, over £500 more per family, unfortunately it was a mistake from our side to carry on and purchase the package, we deposited £720, and few days later when we thought about it, we realised we are paying too much for only 4 nights. At this point we understand that it is all on us, but the disappointment comes when we spoke with jet2 customer service to understand why the price jump up to £500 per family, to give the credit they gave us an explanation of why this happened, due to the hotel offers for a free child was only for two rooms left, any other room booked will be charged fully. I was expecting Jet2 to give something back and help their long lasting customers (i.e. offer the free child offer) to the rest two rooms, instead their customer services respond "there is nothing I can do for you", the fact they rely on the hotel being on high demand and NOT refunding the deposit, was sadly disappointing. Currently we cancelled the holiday and lost £720, for what I do call it "NO CUSTOMER CARE".
Negative experience: Recently flew to Tenerife with Jet2 Holidays which was my first time ever using the company. Check in tried to send us to to the self check in machines but I'm old fashioned and prefer to deal with actual people. The flight was okay, the seats are not particularly comfortable or spacious at all, they're practically Ryanair in different colours. The golden age of air travel has certainly ended and profits has taken over. Most seats you feel like you've found yourself in a sweaty mosh pit trying to fight your way for what little space is avaliable. The flight attendant was miserable, tried to have some friendly banter only to be met with a facial expression that one could compare to being told you only have 6 months to live. Budget airline, budget cabin crew it seems. Upon landing I'm guessing they must have accidently glued the door shut as everyone was standing for a good 20mins whilst waiting for the stairs to arrive. Upon disembarking the aircraft, we then found ourselves waiting for another 20mins on the stairs leading out of the plane as we now waited for the elusive the bus to arrive to take us to the terminal, I guess the bus driver got lost. I mean you'd think that if you know the aircraft is landing, what time its scheduled etc you'd prepared yet anyone would think they simply winged it with the level of disorganisation. Companies need to do better, traveling has become a horrendous experience whereas it used to be such a joy. Do better Jet2
Negative experience: Worst ever customer services. They don’t (won’t) supply invoices for your ticket purchases unless you email them requesting it, then they’ll take 28 days to get back to you! Not much help when you’re overseas and you need that invoice as proof to claim expenses back. I’ve never come across a company before that doesn’t send you an invoice when you pay them for services. Based on the lack of customer service you get from this company I’d advise avoiding it at all costs and looking elsewhere. It only got one one star because you can’t give zero stars, or even negative stars!

Negative experience: Smashed my suitcase to pieces and won’t replace it. I was given a form to fill out which was submitted and now I’m just being totally ignored. I’ve sent numerous email and have had no reply in over a month. Disgusting!
Fantastic experience: Just come back from Lazarote Secrets hotel with Jet2. First time using Jet2, we were very impressed the flight was nice, the hotel was beautiful, and they have a rep in the hotel at certain times to help you out and trips available. All went smoothly Would definitely use them again for a package type holiday

Negative experience: I spent 10 nights in Rhodes Flight out: the flight to Rhodes was delayed by 1 hour. There was no explanation from the staff, they just turned up late and ignored everyone until the gate was opened. Even though the flight was only about 50% booked, there was not enough stock to give me and my Wife the food we wanted. At Rhodes: I paid for a private transfer and was told that the taxi driver would be at the airport holding a sign with my name on it. When I arrived, there was no taxi driver. After waiting for 10 minutes, I decided to have a look around outside and accidentally found the J2Holidays kiosk (I was not told there would be a Jet2 kiosk at the airport). I told the people on the kiosk about having a private transfer booked and they arranged one for me. The taxi driver could not speak English very well. Return taxi: the private transfer taxi was on time and picked us up from the hotel. He was very pleasant and could speak English very well. Return flight: the flight was delayed by more than 1 hour and, once again, the staff turned up late and did not provide any explanation. They just ignored us all until the gate opened. Once again, there was not enough stock to provide my Wife and I with the food we wanted. I had a tuna bun, which gave me severe indigestion for about 90 minutes. The hotel that I booked through Jet2Holidays was advertised as adult only. We quickly discovered that the hotel's beach was full of children and other members of the public. 2/3 of the loungers were for the public and there were often cars driving along the beach. The local power boats restricted the swimming area to about 40 metres. Also, for 5 of the 10 nights, we had to listen to partying activity until 03:00. One more thing: I got a viral ear infection on my 7th day. I had to wait for a very long time until I heard anything concrete from Jet2Holidays about their investigation into my complaint. Without going into the details, I'll just say that I am not happy with the result and I will not be using Jet2Holidays again. In my opinion, they are the worst travel agent I have used.
Negative experience: Really poor experience when complaining about my holiday. Firstly there are incredibly dismissive of your issues despite there being that many, that it wouldn’t all fit into their complaints template. Then when I asked the complaint to be escalated they took months to review and literally sent the exact same response back!! They are either a) getting tonnes of complaints or b) really bad at dealing with them. When I finally succeeded in getting the complaint escalated they just shrugged their shoulders and said if you don’t like it take it to ABTA. Really disappointing experience from a company that I expect better from.
Negative experience: I booked a hotel with Jet 2 for 2/11/23 for two weeks in Lanzarote. Two weeks later I was informed by Jet 2 that there was no adapted room available. This wasn't as much a deal breaker if Jet 2 could confirm there were disabled toilets, available in and around the complex of the hotel. I spoke a special assistance advisor who informed me that they would find out. I asked if they could check with one of the many representatives that are based over there, as already informed by Jet 2 they had plenty of reps in Lanzarote. The reply was they couldn't as they were busy doing other things ?? In the meantime I decided to contact the hotel myself and got a full reply from the hotel confirming they had two disabled toilets and where they were located and looked forward to our arrival, also they would try and accommodate a disabled room if they could. Over a week later from the hotels respons Jet 2 asking if I could get in touch, as they had a response from the hotel. Again I asked why this had taken so long when they have reps there on the ground, the reply again was they have other things to do and if they spent there time checking on requests they wouldn't get anywhere. Jet 2 customer service really ? I asked to speak to a manager, only to be emailed informing me that complaints should be referred to customer complaints. The auto reply was it could take up to 28 days !!!!!!!
Fantastic experience: Travelled with Jet2 to Lanzarote for a 7 day holiday to Costa Teguise from the 10th to 17th September at the Blue Bay Hotel. From start to finish, the experience was straight forward, non hastle and a pleasure. Hays Travel were their agents and they could not have done more. Jet2 kept us informed every step of the way by text and everywhere we went, there was a Jet2 representative present. So friendly and professional, their reps are a credit to them. I've heard of the bad press on other airlines but I have to say, Jet2 are above and beyond. Their cabin crew are brilliant. Professional and with a sense of humor and goodness, they work hard. Hats off to you Jet2, you're definitely the airline and holiday people for me and my family. Added note : Our return journey was delayed due to bad weather and air traffic problems. Jet2 kept us informed every step of the way, so much so that other passengers commented that other airlines need to learn a lesson from Jet2. Totally agree. This is the third time we have traveled with Jet2 and I can quite honestly say, we wholly recommend it to anyone who wants a hassle free holiday, flight and administrative wise. WELL DONE AGAIN JET2!!!

Negative experience: Beware jet2holiday lie about helping you if you disabled and prebooked wheelchair assistance. We was last on the plane and very embarrassing for me and my 4year old to get on alone while last minute some one helps my wife. ........ Very traumatising and upsetting for our daughter to where her mummy going. We will be complaining when coming back. Just hope we have better service in Greece kos
Fantastic experience: First time I have booked through Jet2 and it was a great experience, they were faultless. Lots of helpful staff at both East Midlands and Palma airports. Both flights were on-time and the legroom is actually fairly decent. The app is really good, it keeps you well informed of everything you need to know. I will return as a Jet2 customer without hesitation.
Positive experience: Good holiday experience with friendly airline staff on board in the main. Outbound transfer to the hotel was a little disorganised and the boarding procedure on return was poorly managed. Overall a pleasant experience and we would definitely use this organisation again.
Negative experience: I recently had a disappointing experience with Jet2 Holidays regarding the cancellation of my holiday package. My daughter fell ill on the day of our arrival, and we spent the entire day in the Emergency Room. Despite my efforts to contact Jet2 Holidays and find a solution, my booking was cancelled without my request. I called Jet2 Holidays on the 21st and 22nd of April, and despite promises of a callback from a manager, I did not receive any response or resolution. I was willing to pay extra for new flights and use the remaining days of my holiday, but was told that my entire booking was cancelled. As a loyal customer, I expected better service and support in such unforeseen circumstances. I did not want anything for free, but simply wanted to pay for new flights and utilize the remaining days of my holiday as per my original booking. However, Jet2 Holidays did not provide any options or alternatives, leaving me feeling disappointed, inconvenienced, and frustrated. I have requested a refund for the hotel and return flights, as I was not given the opportunity to utilize them due to the cancellation of my booking by Jet2 Holidays. I am disappointed with the handling of this situation and the lack of communication and responsiveness from Jet2 Holidays. I hope for a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter, including the refund of the funds as requested. As a long-time customer of Jet2 Holidays, I expected better customer service and support in such situations. I am currently exploring further legal actions to seek a resolution. I hope that Jet2 Holidays takes immediate action to rectify this issue and restore my faith in their company. In conclusion, I am deeply disappointed with Jet2 Holidays' handling of my holiday cancellation. The lack of communication, unresponsiveness, and cancellation of my booking without my request have left me with a negative experience. Positive experience: I can’t fault the flights or the service offered. Great customer service for our recent trip to Rome. French air traffic control impacted our journey home on Friday 24th March and Jet 2 did everything they could to keep us informed. Cabin crew were attentive, the only criticism I have is one CC member on our return leg, Alice, thought it appropriate to spray perfume on herself 3 times during the flight. Considering we were sat in Row A facing the galley, the perfume was somewhat overpowering and inconsiderate. My husband is autistic and is very sensitive to sounds and smells. Alice should be more considerate to passengers!
Fantastic experience: This was my first time using Jet2 holidays, my only question was why have I not used them before! The staff are very helpful and polite from start to finish I couldn't fault anything! The journey was pleasant, very well organised and relaxing. The hotel, secrets Villamil Mallorca was second to none, a true 5 star holiday! I'm already planning my next trip and will definitely be with Jet2 holidays again! Fantastic experience: Great airline, used them to go to Turkey and staff were very very helpful. Toilets on aeroplanes are a bit sickening though. The smell is very bad. Other than that, it was good hence the 5 stars.
Negative experience: Don’t be full like I was and book a holiday villa with jet2holiday, the pics you see here is the villa my family and I book for our week holiday, mislead pics, the standards for this villa is terrible with poor standards other here on the pics looks nice when you there is a different story, start with gates that make the property secure lol non exist well they do have gates but it’s broken and thought behind the wall, the house is not secure at all door looks on the glass windows broken, inside: kettle don’t work, microwave don’t work, oven don’t work, electrics plugs hanging of the wall, dirty in general, all the lovely bedroom bedding that’s on the pics advertising the flowers the new furniture it’s all taken years ago and it’s all dirty, broken and dangerous also glass table outside has every Conner broken making it dangerous, lighting in the house is very poor, can’t have a shower in the morning if the maintainable man filling the pool, bedding smell dirty, floor in the kitchen was a burn of about 3 foot log and floor was dirty. I can keep going but it’s no worst it as when I contacted jet2 just to give them an inside they were not interested ah must remind you the inclusive car hire is a con as they would not let you have the car unless you give them£1.400 deposit which they will keep for up to 20 days, ah and 100 euros for the fuel ( only cost £40 to fill the tank. Lol it’s all terrible and finally they offer me £150 compensation very kind of them,
Fantastic experience: Booked online, first time with Jet2 ...flights. transfers, hotel etc... everything was straightforward and smooth. On the return journey, the flight was diverted to another airport due to poor weather conditions...the pilot and airline crew was excellent. The jet 2 team at the alternate airport were helpful...coaches were arranged immediately. I was on the last coach, and they gave us crisps and water ....I think a sandwich wouldn't have gone a miss but otherwise everything was very good.
Negative experience: Awful flight from Manchester to Málaga after a work trip. I thought Jet2 was an airline primarily - but I was constantly being told to "have a happy holiday" from check-in to arriving at AGP. Felt excluded not being part of their Costa Plonka package deal crowd, and their was no acknowledgment of flight-only clients. None of the announcements were in Spanish, yet clearly there were Spanish flight only passengers on board. These days the livery of their aircraft seems to be the hybrid 90s logo of some old Canadian airline decorated with lots of ad slogans that no one reads, when it used to be a really modern and sleek looking grey and red. Ryanair is a lot less hassle and fuss.

Negative experience: Impossible to contact their "customer service". Phone down, website "error" when trying to change the flight, no email address... Having to buy a new one. First time with Jet2 and for sure, never again! Going to use Citizen Advice to claim taxes back. If you dont use the airport We are entitle to get taxes refunded.
Positive experience: Package Holiday: 6th - 13th June 2022. Birmingham to Antalya (Grand Park Lara resort). Not usually for one package holidays however glad I did so on this occasion due to travelleing with a young child. Very conveneient having everything arranged by package operator; flights, transfers and hotel. Positives: Website is really good with function to allow comparison of locations/costs over different regions and periods. All staff friendly and helpful, especially the Jet2 manager at Antalya airport when returning. Negatives: Flight delayed on both journeys. Was very late, passengers just wanted to sleep yet attendants were busy trying to sell goods. Having said that, it was noted the TUI flight to same destination was cancelled. Jet2 check in queues were quite large at Birmingham (seemed to be a lot of Jet2 flights running) and we kept being sent from line to line, though staff did manage to keep it moving. Suggestions - Include excursions and hotel details in the app rather than issuing at arrival.

Negative experience: Nightmare holiday with jet2. Glaagow flight cancelled on way home. Chaos at Ibiza airport. Staff representing jet2 were awful. No information. Eventually put onto a flight to Manchester and sent home from there. Travelling for a full 24hrs. No apology on assistance. Now been home for 2 days and at sill no luggage. Spent 2 hours trying to get through to 24hr helpline to be told they have no record of our luggage and just need to wait and see if it turns up. A quick check on social media will let you see how bad the situation is with jet2. Don’t be fooled by the statement put out a few weeks ago that they are not cancelling flights. They are seriously letting people down and they don’t respond to your emails, messages or live chat. Good luck getting through on the phones.
Negative experience: Very disappointed in Jet2Holidays. I usually praise jet2 for good baggage allowance friendly staff in airport and on the plane and usually a good holiday all round We decided to book holidays for 2023 May and oct with Jet2Holidays early to help them get over covid but unfortunately our flight as changed in Oct to a 2am back instead of the afternoon we had booked We never fly back in the middle of the night After holding on the phone for nearly 2 hours to speak to customer service Anne we were told we could cancel it and loose our deposit or change it as we found day flights from Manchester notloose deposit But pay administration fees. We don't really want to fly from Manchester as its an extra 1hour away but would of done.i don't blame Anne she was friendly and polite and just quoted terms and conditions the moral of this is Don't book in advance. Now we are going to do last minute holidays we have 4 a year and when we look there are cheaper than we paid. be warned everyone just wanted to let you all know
Fantastic experience: Have used jet 2 a couple of times now for holiday they are very good the last time was to Crete in may 2022 no problems going out return flight was delayed 9 hours plus as a result we had a jet 2 rep in the airport with us we were kept updated by her and jet 2 they provided a voucher so we could be fed whilst a new plane and crew came from the UK although a little chaotic at times they did their best to get us home safely I was impressed and would highly recommend jet2
Fantastic experience: Just returned from a week in Tenerife. Firstly, Jet2’s digital communication was first class! It was timed correctly, was very informative and during times where guidance quickly changes, it was welcomed. Check in at Bristol was so simple. All Jet2 staff were genuinely happy to welcome and help us. Everyone was informal but professional which is the way it should be! Flight crew were great and the pilot said some really nice things about being pleased to see customers back after a tough time with Covid. He had a great sense of humour too and made everyone smile. At Tenerife it was the same - fantastic service from beginning to end. Our family were flabbergasted how great Jet2 were - have recommended them to everyone we know and will definitely be our number 1 choice for our next holiday. Well done and thank you to everyone
Fantastic experience: Just back from a long weekend city break in Palma. First of all have to say the staff that worked at the airport in Birmingham and Palma were outstanding. They helpful and attentive . The crew on the plane were also amazing . It was hassle free. Hotel we went to was also in the perfect location so thanks to the agent when booking that pointed us in the right direction.
Negative experience: They're okay until you have a problem and Then all they wanna do is get more money out of you very disappointing . if you thought this company was Family friendly then you should think again! & good luck If you want to speak to someone on the phone must've wasted eight hours of my life doing this. Negative experience: Awful experience. Had my Greek holidays organised by Jet. Worst experience possible-luck of communication, not treating the problem where it actually exist. I have been waiting for a “that’s not a big deal “kind of reply for almost 6months. Try different company for planning your holidays before you do the same mistake, and ruin your holidays. Do NOT recommend.

Fantastic experience: We had our holidays with Jet2holidays many times to several destinations . Last was 2 weeks ago to Santorini, every time was good from the start and from the flight to transport and the hotels. Hotel Always good and comfortable and in a good location. Also, they give a good language allowance then you don't worry about what you buy or take with you on holidays.

Negative experience: Read the adverts advising that Green and Amber list countries were now available. Booked for mainland Spain and looked forward to our holiday, booked and paid for all the required covid tests only to be told via email a week before flying that our holiday was cancelled. Then following that kept getting sent emails saying ' don't forget to check in' and 'only six days till your holiday'. We've travelled with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays for over 20 years but this has left a sour taste in our mouths. Book with caution as tucked in their T&C's is the right to cancel your holiday and waste the money you've spent on covid tests and insurance. Very poor.

Fantastic experience: I travel to Greece with jet2, from the airport of origin the staff was impeccable. upon arrival there was the waiting staff, who kindly sent us to the transfers, gave us all the information that was needed as well as an emergency contact in case of need. Amazing
Negative experience: Worst customer experience, they cancelled our holiday 3 times, not related to Covid just because of system error once, flight changes twice. Instead of calling us to offer the new flight days which were only one day earlier, they cancelled, so you have call in. When you call in (at least on hour waiting time) and can’t sort the problem on the spot, they promise you a callback, which never happens. You need to call again and wait for hours. If they cancel you won’t get the money back for the insurance done through their site as a dodgy insurance company (need to report them to recieve the money) Under normal circumstances, if we cancel, we need to pay fees. What about them?
Negative experience: Paid my holiday in full on the 15 of july and got an email off them yesterday telling me my holiday has now been cancelled with no explanation as to why so after 35 times trying to get though to them I finally got through only to be put on hold then after two hours waiting listening to that background music they cut my call I will never book another holiday with these ever again all well and good taking your money but customer service is disgusting

Fantastic experience: Obviously due to the current circumstances our Easter holiday had to be cancelled. We received an email saying that we would be contacted in date order and true enough the night before we were due to fly we got a phone call. The lady explained what our options were and had circumstances been different we would have been happy to accept a travel voucher to show forbearance as Martin Lewis would say. Unfortunately my wife has a very low immune system and my daughter in law is just about to have another baby. So eventually we agreed on a refund and although the lady said it could take up to two weeks to come back the money was there in four days. Thanks Jet 2 and as soon as we get the all clear we'll certainly be rebooking. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: Just got back from our second Jet2 family holiday and on both occasions we couldn't fault the service. All the staff we encountered at the airport, on the plane, and in the hotel, were friendly and helpful. The cabin crew on the plane were particularly kind to our 4 year old, which is always appreciated on a long flight. All of this coupled with a good experience using their website to book will make them our go-to for package holidays in future.
Negative experience: We had a nice holidays but the customer service on our return has been horrendous. Will never be booking with them again. Our child was attacked by a cat onsite of their hotel and we got nothing more than a sarcastic email and ridiculous toy which is suitable for 14+, our child is 2.
Fantastic experience: For a budget airline you can’t go wiring really, we paid around £100 a person return from Europe really accommodating when changing flights.
Positive experience: First time booked a holiday with jet.2holidays as a group booking of 14 including 3 kids. Flight was on 21st sept from Birmingham to Antalya. One the way going l must say the staff were ok not very friendly or understanding to when a 2yr old cried for her mum to hold her, but on the way back which was last night's flight at 11pm from Antalya to Birmingham the staff were welcoming and polite. My niece was sick and staff were quick on hand with the extra sick bags, especially air hostess by the name Katie who was very caring and got a glass on water and spoke soo nicely to her which made her feel abit more relaxed as she was asleep and woke up by the sickness. Great service.Will definitely be booking again with Jet2holidays in the near future. A smile goes along way.keep up the great customer service....
Fantastic experience: First time traveling with Jet2. Brilliant service from start to finish. Easy online process. Got upgraded to much better hotel when ours became "unavailable" 5 days before we were due to fly. Lovely customer service department sorted everything V smoothly. Lovely flights, no delays and cabin crew were V friendly. Will definitely be using again next year V impressed.

Negative experience: Generally good. However on a recent trip to the Algarve I was dropped off the transfer coach about half a mile from my hotel in 35 degree heat. I talked to the rep on site and emailed them 5 times to be told it's not their problem!!! Won't go there again with them.

Fantastic experience: Travelled to kos from east midlands airport on the 29th of June the cabin crew were amazing we sat on row 14 seats a b and c the two young girls that looked after us were wonderful my son is having flying lessons wanting to be a pilot wish I could have remembers her name , she asked the captain if he could ask questions regarding qualifications etc , he was most helpful , the same young lady was on the flight home yesterday the 13th of July and as we were embarking the plane I thanked her again and she asked the captain if my son could have a word, he let my son sit on the cockpit seat and gave him a real boost and told him to follow his dream thank you JET2 look forward to flying with you again soon
