Negative experience: Spent about a week sorting out a quote for us to pay the deposit and then be told the rooms weren't available and the price would be 40% more expensive and not the package we were told. A 3rd party had warned me about this and so I called them to check everything agreed was available. What a waste of everyone's time.

Here’s our take on the experience: Hotel The Hotel El Puerto is a solid 3-star accommodation, offering a clean and friendly atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and always happy to help. Breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection to kickstart the day. Its location right on the seafront was ideal, offering stunning views and easy access to local amenities and the beach. Transport Service The pick-up service provided by YourGolfTravel was exceptional—100% on time every day. This made getting to and from the courses completely stress-free and allowed us to focus on enjoying our rounds of golf. Golf Courses Calanova Golf Club An exciting and enjoyable course with plenty of challenges to keep you engaged. The layout was varied and interesting throughout, but it’s clear the designer may have overlooked the 18th hole—it didn’t quite live up to the standard of the rest of the course. That said, it’s definitely worth playing, especially with the help of a golf buggy to navigate the hilly terrain. El Chaparral Golf Club El Chaparral was a standout course for us. It offered stunning views and was in excellent condition. Each hole presented its own unique challenge, and the natural beauty of the surroundings really elevated the experience. Golf buggies were included here as well, which made getting around the course a breeze. Final Thoughts Overall, this golf trip with YourGolfTravel exceeded our expectations. The combination of a clean and well-located hotel, punctual transport, and two enjoyable golf courses made for a fantastic holiday. We’d highly recommend this itinerary, particularly for golfers looking for a mix of seaside relaxation and challenging courses with beautiful scenery. Fantastic experience: Great holiday with great golf we added another round at sultan although i was told no tee times available so was given aspendos as a alternative which i would say was not to the standard of other courses we played overall the holiday was fab and the serene belek hotel is great

Positive experience: The service offered by YGT was second to none, I wouldn’t hesitate in using them again. The facilities at Amendoeira resort and the quality of accommodation were excellent. Now about the golf! We booked the 3 night unlimited golf package, so we booked a round a day at 12.09 tee time. The courses are very busy so 5 1/2 hour rounds in a buggy were the norm, because it was November we were finishing the round with little or no light, so don’t tee off after 11:30am if you want to play 18 holes. On our third round the resort had over booked the tee, and we were in the middle of a large group who had booked over a year ago, so us and half the group never finished our round because it was pitch black after what would’ve resulted in over a six hour round.

Fantastic experience: We stayed and played at The Oxfordshire from 7th to 9th November 2024. The venue has a genuine championship quality course even going into winter conditions and an international standard hotel. Sam Philpot at YGT could not have been more helpful throughout the booking and delivery process. Sam is an excellent communicator driven by customer service. Highley recommended.

Positive experience: Booked a group of 25 with 16 golfers. Pleasant experience despite many changes from our group. Small challenge with transfer arrangements on arrival, but was superb once we were in contact with the transporter on the ground. Hotel stay was pleasant with good breakfast provided. Golf bookings went like clockwork. We added a sunset cruise and had lots of interesting dinners at different restaurants within walking distance as well as short uber rides. Thanks to Simon Keane for putting it together for us.

Fantastic experience: We booked our golf trip with Your Golf Travel for a group of 10, and everything ran like clockwork. They organised private transfers between the airport, hotel, and courses, all of which were on time, as well as golf club hire for the whole party. The clubs provided were Srixon irons and woods, with a mix of Odyssey and Ping putters. We were very happy with the service received. The app was incredibly useful, containing all the key information like transfer times and tee times, and it was easy to share access with the group so everyone could stay up to date. Overall, a fantastic service!

Negative experience: Hotel soo Marbella estepona - very much out of the way! Next to no bars/restaurants nearby! YGT - overall… ok! Booking with them very easy! But we were to have 1 dozen TP5 taylormade balls in our package! These never arrived! Despite being in our contract, itinerary and told they were posted and on their way multiple times over the phone, once we arrived on our trip the agent said we are not entitled to the balls and therefore they will not be sending them! Also felt that once we arrived on our trip and were commenting on how poor the travel company was etc they didn’t really care! We got confirmation of different pick up time by them but I’m not confident that this was ever done for us. Would we use YGT again… possibly! But will be making sure of what is offered to us is actually given to ensure we aren’t left like we have been scammed or stroked like we all do now. Marbella golf and country club - absolutely horrific golf course! Made us play from the forward tees. Greens were horrible, some of the worst I’ve played on! Wild hogs tore up the golf course too which they couldn’t do anything about but this didn’t affect the rest of the golf course. We won’t be back here. La Zagaleta - fantastic course and faculties! Will definitely play here again. Only down side was the fact you pay for the beers and sandwiches from the buggy cart at the end of the round! They refuse to tell you the cost of anything! Snickers ended up being €5 Sandwiches €19! Then when we came in and paid our bill the bar man tried robbing us for another €140 for food and drink we supposedly had before our round! We did not eat before our round! We went straight to the tee as the transport company had us late again!! La Cala - grand! Great facilities and nice course! Just a very slow round (just under 6hours) The transport company! Absolutely useless! Late for pick up everyday and could not care less! Made us late for every single tee time apart from la Cala as we demanded they picked us up an hour earlier than planned! But they were still late for this pick up too!

The resort we stayed at was fantastic and the golf even better, managing to get four rounds in over four days. Every aspect was covered, included transfers to the course that was furthest away. Negative experience: We booked with YGT for a recent golf trip to Portugal, most of the service we received was fine, but one thing really ruined our experience with their team. We had asked for golf clubs to rent at both courses we played, day 1 was fine and everything was sorted as discussed. Day 2 however, we arrived at the course and were told our club hire wasn't included. Being a bank holiday (and a Sunday) the team obviously weren't available to help sort this out, so we paid for the rental assuming we would be able to claim the money back. When we got back and raised this though, they said we hadn't included it in our package, and despite me showing multiple emails to them of the correspondence with our rep where he said he had booked clubs for both courses as part of our package, they refused to refund us. It was an error on their part that they hadn't been included (as why would we only need rental clubs for one course as well?) but they refused to take responsibility for it. We had asked if everything was sorted ahead of the trip too and they confirmed it all was. Very frustrating and highly unlikely to use them again, as the only reason we went with them was because they were cheaper than the other quotes we received (but not once we had to pay for the additional club hire) which makes me feel like we were mis-sold for our business.

Positive experience: Great job by Your Golf Travel. Made booking our golf holiday easy and kept us informed of progress all the way along. Went to Benidorm and stayed at Melia Villaitana Golf Resort and Spa. Not a 4* unless you pay to upgrade which we were unaware of. 2 courses both in good condition. Main course long with plenty of bunkers (approx 90), many down middle of fairway, which we felt a bit unfair at times. Greens good. Shorter course, few quirky holes but also in good condition. Couple of holes over ravines which were difficult for the ladies with us. Buggies a must as quite a distance between many holes. Nice clubhouse with good shop and restaurant. Overall a great golfing experience.

Negative experience: We had a shocking experience and still are with YGT with my lady captains trip to Herrons Reach where there were not enough rooms for us and the hotel was full. So we had to drive home late at night after a busy drive there and a long game of golf. Some of the ladies were in their 80’s. We booked this last October and I am very unhappy with how our complaint has been handled by YGT

Positive experience: I recently booked a golf trip through Your Golf Travel, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the service was excellent. The booking process was smooth and hassle-free, with the team providing plenty of options that matched our group's preferences and budget. What really stood out was the level of detail and care they put into planning. The team was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations on courses and accommodations. They truly understood what golfers are looking for in a trip. The resort we stayed at was top-tier, with outstanding facilities and immaculate courses, making the entire trip unforgettable. The travel arrangements were seamless, and everything was organized to perfection – from tee times to transfers, all we had to do was focus on enjoying our golf. Negative experience: I have used YGT in the past and found them to be fine but I have to say this last experience was so frustrating I probably won't use them again. The business model seems to be to take our money and then, after we have also paid for flights, say that we can't actually play at the courses or times we originally wanted but by then it's too late to cancel or change. Main low lights of this trip were having to play a totally different course 1.5 hours away (in fairness, it was an amazing course) so we lost a whole day on travel, having no buggies booked for a day of 36 holes, and not having the second round booked. More than the outcome, however, my low rating is due to the fact I had to call/email/chase constantly to get this sorted out. Things go wrong, I get that, I never got the impression that the people I was dealing with really cared whether the holiday was a success or not - they had our money so didn't seemed bothered at all. They just weren't proactive and the whole planning side was extremely stressful for me; the whole point of using a travel company is to take that stress away.

Negative experience: Had good stay at Mar Minor, but should not have been sent to play Hacienda golf course,this course is not suitable to be open, directors we spoke to have been aware of this for over a year,extremely disappointed your company booked us to play on the course, we came off after two holes,I have put pictures below,the whole course had no grass on fairways.

Fantastic experience: We used Your Golf Travel for the first time and the service we received was excellent. Tom who dealt with the initial enquiry was so helpful in putting the whole package together. We had an issue with one of the group not being able to travel at the last moment due to illness and Tom sorted out everything without any problems. Not only was the golf excellent but it is worth mentioning that the transfer company they use is Noyan Travel. They were absolutely brilliant . Nothing was too much trouble when we picked up from the airport and all the transfers to and from the courses. This was our first golf break in Turkey and we will return next year.

Negative experience: We used golf travel for our golf trip as this was something we had never done before, overall the arrangement of the trip and the booking process were good and the staff were helpful when taking money off us. As soon as they had our money, you could tell they couldn’t have cared less about how our trip went. We only booked 2 days there and the flight was cancelled for our first day so we missed a full day of golf and hotel. When I spoke to the company all of the staff were very unhelpful and did not do anything to resolve our problem. They would not call us back to update us and they just told us to get on the rescheduled flight - meaning we missed out on £££s. The hotel they booked us in was completely discriminatory to non-members, it’s almost like they never had guest players before. Members and staff made us feel so unwelcome, constantly harassing us. They also do us an “all inclusive” package which we were told was semi all inclusive when we got there. Overall, very disappointing.

Negative experience: Had to pay £150 for 3 rounds of golf for one extra person no room or food when I asked to cancel and asked for a refund I was told no too late which was annoying as it didn’t make any difference to tee times so from that respect very dissatisfied with your golf travel

Fantastic experience: Tas was very patient and sent different options - when our choices were made - confirmation was sent immediately and when we arrived at hotel/course all of our requests were dealt with perfectly - would highly recommend this service as was very easy and enjoyable experience.

Negative experience: Forest pines August bank holiday weekend 2024 Dont waste your money at this venue. Ridiculously slow play Ridiculously over booked Greens shockingly sandy with holes (in august?)patches, pitch marks. Never warned of this summer maintenance before hand! Fairways patchy Starter/warden not a nice man either. Stinking attitude Not happy at all, was looking forward this this weekend Not going back

Fantastic experience: What a great two days at the belfry. Everything perfect. Played PGA National and the Brabazon courses with overnight stay in a great room. Evening meal in the Ryder grill and breakfast (both were great). All for £212 each. Could not recommend enough. Will definitely use your golf travel again for our next trip

Fantastic experience: Our trip to Scotland was a great - exceeding our expectations. We initially tried to make our own bookings for golf and hotel for a group of 6 people in the St. Andrews area but quickly realized that was going nowhere. Friends of ours had used YourGolfTravel in the past and recommended we call. We were quickly connected with Flynn Halsall in London and he steered us to the Kilconquhar Castle Estate for accommodation and to Kingsbarns, Elie and Dumbarnie for golf. We flew into Edinburgh and stayed one night at the Roseate hotel then drove rental cars to Kilconquhar. The estate is situated in the countryside on what appears to be an old estate with a main building and other smaller buildings/homes on the estate grounds. We rented a “family apartment” with kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and living room which was perfect for our needs and very affordable. The castle has various facilities including a dining hall, breakfast/lunch area, and indoor pool. Reception staff were very helpful answering questions about what the apartment was equipped with and that helped us prepare for our stay. We booked dinner in the restaurant but due to a competing dinner for a wedding party the booking required some negotiating and incurred some delays. The staff were quite helpful but it was clear something went wrong in the booking. Our table was made available but minimally set indicating server staff were stretched thin. For daily breakfast again staffing was thin and if you didn’t get your order in early it took quite a while to get our food. Staff were helpful when asked but due to lack of numbers, did not convey progress unless prompted. The golf was the highlight starting with an early morning round at Dumbarnie; a 4-5 year old course but in great shape with a very nice links layout. The clubhouse and views were fantastic. First class treatment from the car park to first tee was in abundance. The shot of whisky on the first tee helped calm a few jitters. We had a second round at Elie in the afternoon. Elie is a classic old links course with an abundance of blind tee shots and great views of the seaside. Friendly dog walkers were also in abundance. Check out the starters hut periscope for a unique view of the first fairway. Of note Elie was a feature article in the Golfers Journal No.28 Summer 2024. We recommend dinner at the 19th Hole restaurant nearby. The next day we were treated to a first class round at Kingsbarns. What a beautiful course with many challenges. Well worth the visit. None of the courses were too busy in early June and walking guests were encouraged. Try dinner at the Craig Millar at 16 West End, St. Monans not too far from Kilconquhar – it was excellent. Outside of YourGolfTravel we booked a tour at Kingsbarns distillery and arranged for a local tour van operated by St. Andrews Chauffeur. Andrew Macfarlane was our driver for the day and kept us well informed on local history and sites. We ended up at the Jigger Inn pub on the Old Course for a pint and lunch. A tour of the Old Course hotel yielded some great views of the new and old courses and the walking paths we enjoyed later. Overall use of YourGolfTravel was key to the success of the trip and we would not hesitate to use YGT again.

Fantastic experience: First time using Your Golf Travel, will use again. Chas was very helpful with venues/courses. Took a lot of the hassle out of the organising. Everyone enjoyed our stay at McDonalds Cardrona which is well worth a visit.

Fantastic experience: We recently returned from a weeks break (29/5 to 5/6) at the Voyage Belek in Turkey and our party of four agreed that this is by far the best all inclusive/5 star hotel we have stayed in to date. It was also agreed we should have booked for 10 days instead as the ideal duration! The ladies enjoyed the relaxed stay that much the gym and spa facilities weren't used, with perhaps the spa costs being judged a little steep not helping. The hotel service was excellent with polite, cheery and efficient staff. Communication with organising staff through the App was good and very helpful. The accommodation was superb, with a good view, very comfortable with plenty of towels and a good selection of high quality toiletries. We were given a free room upgrade to a roof location with balcony and jacuzzi a few days in which was appreciated even if the jacuzzi wasn't used. The beach facilities were also excellent with the snack bars perfect for a lazy light lunch without returning to the main buildings. Child free areas were also much appreciated. Choice/variety of food was fantastic though we still visited a few a la carte restaurants, the Turkish one being deemed the best. The patisserie and chocolate selections were just plain unbelievable. The standard drinks selection had good quality branded spirits and even if my wallet may cope, my taste buds aren't that educated to seriously appreciate whisky better than Glenlivet single malt or JW Black Label! The golf courses and practice facilities were generally excellent, courses tight and testing for us high handicappers but still very enjoyable. The National and Carya courses staff were very well organised, the Montgomery Maxx slightly less so with the starter not preparing the buggy with ice & bottled water (no ice available and self service for water). Also very surprisingly no divot mix was provided on the buggy or at the Tee boxes on the Montgomery Maxx. I don't think Colin would be impressed. It was however disappointing that otherwise superb and lightning fast greens on all 3 courses were marred by many unrepaired pitch marks, this reflecting many holiday golfers are at best uneducated and worst inconsiderate. My gardening skills were much used! The Callaway rental clubs were in good condition, also interesting that the woods worked far better than may be expected, whilst the pitching wedge did not, operator fault here! Thanks go to Tom and his team at Your Golf Travel, communication was good with questions/queries were answered quickly. We all agree we would like to return at a future date, perhaps a week earlier in May to miss temperatures well into the 30's! Overall a highly recommended vacation.

Negative experience: Tried to chat for quote on WhatsApp. Waited 1st of all over an hour for a reply. Then another hour without a reply. Not good enough if you want customers. GolfKings far more efficient

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend le touquet for a short golf break as it is so accessible via the shuttle. Hotel le Manoir is superb, and the golf courses are interesting and varied. Excellent service from Colin particularly when booking the hotel and sorting out the golf.

Positive experience: We have just returned from an amazing holiday in the Algarve. The service from YGT was really great. There was however one issue. When I made the original booking, I informed YGT that we were beginner / intermediate players who have never calculated a hanicap etc. I asked that they book courses that would cater for this and be more beginner friendly. However, upon checking in at one of the courses, they required us to have a handicap of 28 minimum to play and did not let us play because we were beginners, they were quite rude too. So is a shame that YGT booked this as part of our holiday given that we did inform that we're beginners at point of booking. We were left a bit stranded on the day and was really disappointing to not be able to play. However, I will say that upon me informing YGT about this error on the day, they responded very well. Big thanks to Samantha who re-booked us a suitable course within the hour. In the end we got a short cab to another course (which I'm hoping YGT will reimburse us for) and was able to play. Therefore overall we are really happy with the YGT service, yes there was a mistake, but these things happen and they recovered the situation very well. Their app / itinerary was really great too and we had a great holiday overall. Good overall customer service. I would recommended that if you're newer to golf to double check entry requirements directly with the courses too to avoid what happened to us. Thanks YGT. Luke

Negative experience: Very poor experience, booking agent didn’t carry out requested requirements. Would definitely go back to play the courses and stay at the hotel. Would definitely not use booking agent again.

Positive experience: Top weekend away with the boys, only improvement would be the food was served cold a couple of times. The course is hard due to being long and having lots of trees blocking any wayward shot out of going for the green but due to recent weather the course was in a good condition and we all had a good trip.

Negative experience: We arrived at our hotel Friday and there was two bookings in my name, one from Expedia that had been booked by your golf travel in my name. Then the booking they did have was only 7 rooms and we’d booked 8. We turned up to Pehna Longa Saturday and they had us playing the 9 hole course and then just the back 9 of the Atlantic. Pehna also didn’t have any buggies saved. The transport that picked us up was one 1x8 seater van that we had to squeeze 9 into as the other vehicle was a small car that 4 men had to squeeze into, this happened again returning from Estoril. To make all this worse, I left voice messages and emails with no response. As you can imagine this caused me huge stress, and ruined my break. I spoke to a senior sales person last week, and they offered discount for a trip next year. The problem is, It’s actually put me off ever organising another golf trip with anyone (certainly not YGT). Probably my only holiday this year ruined. I’m only not giving one star as the hotel and the golf courses were very helpful. Been back 3 weeks now, and no effort has been made to make up for their mistakes

Negative experience: Booking agent was amazing pre trip, once he had our money the customer service disappeared, I had to chase hotel to meal times etc & when I challenged the booking agent he lied to me more than once. Missed & ignored calls led this to be a very frustrating & annoying experience. Was promised a courtesy call afterwards after all the issues which I’m still waiting for 2 weeks after the trip. Will not be using or recommending this company.

Positive experience: Just returned from Portugal Lagos area with a group of 8. Fabulous hotel in a great location close to the beach and a 10/15 walk to the marina and old town. All inclusive hotel with good food and drink but well worth a couple of visits to the beach bars and restaurants nearby. Top class food and drink at very reasonable prices ( far better than the Vilamoura area). Golf courses at Espiche and boa vista excellent. Palmeires 3 nine hole courses ok.. One small gripe you need to pre book your buggies at Espiche..2 of our group had to walk, apparently YGT won't do it coz they have to pay some sort of commission to the golf club.... All in all a great trip

Negative experience: Shocking company! They tell you what you want to hear then don’t deliver! Eight of us went to Marrakesh on and all inclusive holiday . We booked several months in advance and booked four TWIN “DELUXE” swim up rooms as it was an all male group . I was assured by MATT that the TWIN rooms had been booked . I checked on atleast three occasions with MATT that we definitely had TWIN rooms. And on every occasion he assured me we definitely had TWIN rooms!!! I even said to MATT , “please don’t have us turning up at the reception and it’s double rooms” but MATT definitely assured me we had TWIN rooms. This holiday was for my friends 60th birthday and we spent almost £13000 with this company! When we got to the hotel , we had been allocated DOUBLE rooms!!!! There were no TWIN rooms available! I then have to some how get in touch with YOUR GOLF TRAVEL from the reception of the hotel in Marrakesh! Once I finally got a hold of someone, they said they would deal with it. Their idea of dealing with it was to put a camp bed in each room!!! Therefore 50% of our group spent a week on a camp bed in our supposed “DELUXE” room!! We arrived at the hotel during Ramadan , this was not highlighted to us by this company, had we been made aware of this we would have changed our destination or gone at another time! ( but we accept we should have thought about that too!) but as part of decent customer service I would have expected this to be highlighted to us! But no mention of it!! The courses were ok! But they definitely years behind other golfing destinations. Once I returned and filed my complaint with this company, it took them over their 28 days to get back to me ! And when they did they offered me a measly £200 voucher off my next trip with them!!!( as if!) When I turned that down they upped their voucher to £320!!! By this time I was done with them!!! PLEASE AVOID , THERE ARE OTHER AND BETTER COMPANIES OUT THERE.

Negative experience: This is a rating for the transportation and not my overall experience of the Hotel Pestana Villa Sol complex or golfing experience on the 4 available Dom Pedro courses I played. I rated those in another area. I highly recommend the Old Course. Now to the transportation from the airport. BA had us leaving Heathrow over an hour late for our flight to Faro. We got into Faro and there was no transportation (pre-paid personal exec type vehicle) waiting for us. We assumed incorrectly that it is common practice for the company providing the transport to monitor the flights progress, that didn’t happen. I walked around for almost another hour looking at every drivers passenger name tagged board(phone), nothing. Only by chance did I see a lady in a Golf Travel shirt outside talking on a phone. She called the manager and a driver was sent. The issue isn’t so much no driver there to pick us up but the fact I called Golf Travel, left a message (as it was 5mins after their desk closed at 8pm) before I found that lady, saying we had no transport. Still waiting for them to call me . Needless to say didn’t trust the transportation on hotel to airport and made alternative arrangements.

Positive experience: The six buggies we had booked and paid for had not actually been booked with the course. Although they were available for rounds one and three, there were only four available for round two so my group had to walk the course. Not ideal for that length of course in that temperature. In addition to the inconvenience, it also meant we had to pay another €775 for the buggies at the time. Yourgolftravel refunded me the exact amount a few weeks later.

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic golf holiday put together by Your Golf Travel. We went to Salou, stayed at the Belvedere Hotel Half board. We all thought it was great for the price, the food was very good. Pool area was great. We played the Hills and the Lakes courses twice. A couple of the best courses we have played. The staff at courses were brilliant, taking our clubs off the bus and loading them onto buggies. Transfers all went smooth. Thanks Your Golf Travel

Fantastic experience: Booking through Theo made everything easy and straight forward. Cardrona course was well maintained, greens in good condition and plenty of sand in the bunkers, the rooms are a bit tired but bed was comfortable, staff are very friendly and helpful, we would return.

Fantastic experience: 8 of us enjoyed an excellent 2 night trip to Yorkshire playing at Fulford and Ganton. We received an extremely warm welcome at both clubs and the courses were in superb condition. Watch out for the gorse and treacherous bunkers at Ganton. We stayed at the Grand Hotel in York which is was terrific. All of the arrangements worked extremely well and we are grateful to Chris at Your Golf Travel for his efficient handling of our arrangements.
