Negative experience: I called this company for the first time spoke to a man who tried to make fun of my accent I clearly explained to him I couldn’t speak his language then I spoke in English which he found difficult to understand so had to repeat myself few times. He Sounded quiet rude dunno what he thought of himself I hope he gets the message that as customers we have many choices of travel agencies to choose from and if he really wants to have a successful business customer service is vital.

Negative experience: Gave us a cheap and fair qoute on the phone for ummrah package , once in there office they changed price , they whisper with colleagues type on calculator show colleagues , how much to rip me off. Overall from comparison they offered the most least standard, offered less beds , and hotels with the least stars for greater price , their word has no value waste peoples time. Genuine people who want to pay book something, avoid them totally because even if they offered me a better price I would not book with them in my life no trust in them at all, wont know what to expect on the other side no trust at all , no word value...

The customer service is fantastic and all the staff are very caring. The Money Transfer department is also very trust worthy as I have been using Hillside to send my money to Bangladesh for many many years now and there has never been a problem. The staff in the Money Transfer are also very kind and take time with your money so there is never a problem.

Negative experience: Only giving a one star because Google won't allow ZERO STARS! Customer service nonexistent from everyone - employees and owner. Went there to get an Umrah Visa after a desperate employee, Ayaz, called us and offered it for £85 per person. Go there today and they rip us off, charging us £100 - owner was in and didn't care. Would not touch the place with a barge pole!

Negative experience: I think the service is very poor, also the answering machine is ridiculous as they don't really need one for their small organisation and annoying when both the parties there don't know the taka rates. Also when I went to send some money the last time they were serving me but talking to someone else too very disrespectful.

Negative experience: For those who are typically Bengali they will love you as they see you as being uneducated and can prey making money from you. They asked us to pay credit card fee of £500 yes £500. I calculated most people charge 3% these guys are animals. The owner Helal Uddin Khan is even more of a crook. It takes many weeks to get a appointment to see a thief like him and then he makes you feel as if you are the one who makes the mistake. He even said each ticket they sell only make £10 per sale which is definitely rubbish. Is this guy serious? They sell tickets to routes they know they should not have. Then ultimately blame airlines and do not help. I think trading standards should have a look into there practices.

Negative experience: So so disappointed..Service is not good at all. I gave my product to send my back home, after 2 days they called me to let me know that they can't send it to my home as i gave them only 15kg, if i wanted to send i do need to pay double to send 15kg product. If it is the rules why they did not tell me on the 1st day ? why they took my product and gave me money receipt? i lost the shipment and now my product which was really important i could not send it on time. very very bad customer service, i will never recommend to my friends and family.

Negative experience: Terrible Service - these KOM ZATHS tell lies and steal your money, the owners and staff are all declaring low wages and claiming tax credits unlawfully, this is an illegal business , do not buy tickets from these low life people.

Positive experience: Good place for cheap travelling fare deals and sending money to other countries

Negative experience: Hillside travel, is OK for booking flights and travelling, but it is a nightmare if you cancel with them especially if you made full payment in advance. I booked 2 adults, and a child in advance in September 2015 to fly to Dhaka in July 2016. The full amount I paid was £1590 which I thought was a good bargain. But unfortunately my wife became pregnant as a result I had to make the decision of cancellation in January 2016. When I call Hillside Travel for cancelling our flights, I was asked to come to their office in upon park, when I arrived in I told Hillside travel of my circumstance and then Hillside travel staff informed me that each cancellation will be charge £130 per person in which I was shocked because in their website it mentioned that cancellation was £60 per person. I told Hillside travel that it is mention on your website under the cancellation section it mention £60 cancellation for per person. I was told that bit meant only admin fee and cancellation is £130 person. After a debate, I want to change the date as I believe cancellation charge £130 per person (£390 altogether) was too much to lose. Hillside official then said to change the date will cost £60 per person and extra for the cost of the flight due to the season times. I was furious at that time, and decided to cancel immediately and that if will cost me more money and it will be better to received £1200 from £1590 that I have paid already. It took nearly 3 months to receive my payment from Hillside and at first they hesitated to pay me as they can only pay me by cheque and not bank transfer. They said they will send me the cheque to my address, every day I had to make enquiry have they sent me the cheque by post, they keep saying "oh we was busy, today we could not sent the cheque, next day same thing was mentioned and the next. So I call Hillside travel made arrangement that they do not have to send the cheque and that I will be making my journey from Hammersmith (west London) to Upon park to pick up the cheque. And that's exactly what I did.

Negative experience: I booked a plane ticket from Myanmar to Bangladesh in February this year. Hillside Travels were not only unable to provide the ticket after taking the money for it, but three months later and I still have not received a refund. As other reviewers have stated, I would definitely recommend to avoid using this company.
