Negative experience: Probably the worst bus company ever. New timetable started 3rd November, buses should run half hourly on the Coppice route Aylesbury instead of every hour but still is an hourly service if you are lucky. A certain driver also prefers you to pay cash instead of card so he does not have to issue a ticket and he can pocket the cash for himself.

Negative experience: The 20.52 from Haddenham to Oxford, on September 20th 2025,did not turn up. Quite a few services are not turning up. This bus company is beginning to resemble a previous operator. The owners, if they care( which I doubt ) need to get a grip and operate the timetable they publish.

Negative experience: Absolutely abysmal service today with no 14 The Coppice service. Driver got off the 11am bus at station and never came back!! Sack him !! This is not the first time he has been late, early and not come at all!! No services for nos 2 and 11 aswell. Person running around trying to find drivers, not successful. We waited for over an hour and a half for some service. I ended up getting a taxi home so have no idea if the service continued or not. Redline service a joke!!

Negative experience: I realized I didn’t need to take the bus and asked the driver for a refund while we were still sitting at the station. But he outright refused, like it was the most normal thing in the world to take someone’s money for absolutely nothing. It was infuriating no explanation, just a cold 'no' and back to business as if I hadn’t spoken.

Fantastic experience: Good buses services, a whole lot better than they used to be. Drivers are pleasant, had a couple of issues with a few drivers in the past but ever since arriva went in Aylesbury & High Wycombe back last July they seem to have really stepped up their game, presentation of their buses are much nicer now too with they’re new Volvo B5/B9TL’s double deckers brought last year looking very smart and eye catching, office staff are also very nice allowing me into their main depot, as a bus enthusiast this made me very pleased. Out of the 3 sister companies i’d much rather use Redline to travel than Red Rose and Red Eagle.

Negative experience: God awful service i’ve never known anything like it in my life. Always late never on time and mostly they don’t show up. Everytime I call or email they have no idea what’s going on and I can barely understand the person on the phone, like they make no effort and they don’t care at all. Disgusting service considering the money is costs to get on this bus! Needs addressing by the council ASAP.

Negative experience: Everything is very bad today I came at 5:27 to the stop I understand that it's still a morning of darkness but I turned on the fan and waved my hand and he didn't get behind the wheel there was some grandfather now I don't have time to work for 30 minutes because of him and who will pay me for it you know I wouldn't complain if it was once but it's always so I use buses every day and it's very often and very I'm very angry

Negative experience: Bad service if i could give 0 stars I would Waiting for bus today 300 service and driver never stopped at bus stop went straight passed so when I get to station I see same driver parked up and asked him why don’t you stop at bus stops he said I did not see you this is lies he needs eye sight test if he can’t see

Negative experience: Used to be fairly reliable, but lately (past few weeks) 130 has been terrible. Buses extremely late (more than 30mins) or don't show up. I know Aylesbury town centre had some closures but it's also the same the other way coming back. It used to be the odd occasion but now it's regularly late or missing.

Negative experience: The number 4 is due at 7:08am which hasn't showed up for the last 2 days. We wait for the bus from 7:00 every morning. My son is disabled and has autism. The bus after that I put my hand out for the bus to stop, it blatantly ignores me and drives past me, making my son late for school. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Negative experience: 60 bus that I take to got to work most mornings left one minute early but was on a completely different platform I saw him reverse out off and didn’t stop for me when he saw that I was standing on the right platform and knows why I stand there to travel to work. I take that bus to go to work and people rely on public transport. Unbelievable, such lack of care.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrendously rude bus drivers that won't wait for you, either in the bus because of your processing disability, or at a bus stop when you are trying to enter. I take the WP1 route often for my disabilities and they are horrendous. I would not recommend for anyone that has a disability, and I only take them for financial reasons. I recommend anyone that can take a taxi to take a taxi, especially if they are disabled.

Fantastic experience: Since Redline have taken over the X20 route from Thame to Aylesbury, my child’s journeys to and from school have been so much less stressful. Although they run fewer buses than Arriva before (whose service was absolutely terrible), they are on time, stick to their advertised route and generally have pleasant drivers. Redline were also very responsive to comments when they started the service and added additional capacity to cope with the increased passenger numbers at school finish time. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Positive experience: Normally very reliable but two mornings running waited for the 130 in stoke mandeville and the 10 past 9 didnt turn up. When the 300arrived it was standing room only. On the Tuesday morning some people got on just before the gyratory and instead of asking people to move down the aisle the driver allowed a passenger to stand in front of the windscreen! Come on redline. Where is your health and safety training?

Negative experience: The 110 bus service is the most pathetic bus service of all time. I’ve had several problems over the years of the bus drivers completely missing out the stops in the small village I live in. The bus drivers either come 30 mins early or 30 mins late never on time and sometimes even completely miss out the stop. This service needs to be stopped or drivers need to be retrained. Idiots.

Negative experience: Theyre always late they also miss a whole section of stops and they do whatever they want. I am waiting for the no.2 to haydon hill and hes meant to pick me up at 11:36 its 11:37 and hes just on his way back into town and proceeded to say that he will be coming back in 20 minutes. Im 5 months pregnant and now i have to wait for this bus while standing. Please get better drivers or turn off ur service.

Negative experience: This morning a bus just pulled in front of me without looking. I had to hit the breaks so hard not to crush him, that my daughter start crying and panicking. The guy didn't even apologies and continued to drive in the same dangerous manner. Lucky him that i had my daughter in the car, otherwise he would not be driving for a long time. Negative experience: Aylesbury bus route 4 the drivers are rude and either the bus is 10 mins late or 10 mins early it’s very unfair. I understand it being late is out of their control but at least if you come early don’t just leave stand there until the time that you are meant to leave happens.

Negative experience: Possibly the worst bus service in the world. Sadly, the company is simply not interested in providing a service. Recently, I waited for a couple of hours for the No.30 service to my village - they only have to run this bus once a day, so it's not a great burden. Of course, the bus did not arrive. I telephoned Red Eagle's 'hotline' and, after being cut off 4 times, I was helpfully told that "it would be quicker to walk"! I did walk, it's 4 miles, but at least it wasn't raining. I've since heard that, unsurprisingly, they've lost the contract for route 30, so they're no longer bothering to put the bus on the road at all. Hopefully, Red Eagle will soon go bust - passengers wouldn't notice any difference.

Negative experience: route 2 from Aylesbury town centre. wednesday 7th Feb, waiting for the 6:21pm bus back towards town but the bus never turned up....even though he saw myself and my daughter sat at the bus stop we needed to be at waiting for him to go round quarrandon and then come back round meadowcroft. had an issue with the same driver the week before telling me he wasn't going back on the assigned route as there was too much traffic apparently, he only said he would take us to where we needed to go but would go the other way the moment I said i wanted a refund on tickets. not a reliable bus service now. the driver last year was lovely and friendly and was always on time. sort it out redline. ps I will be in contact for a refund on my return tickets seeing as you didn't provide the service I paid for

Negative experience: 2 stars is far too generous. Drivers don't know fare details, could have saved me money but didn't know what the NHS price was for the hospital bus. Also drive extremely fast which is borderline dangerous. Buses never, ever run on time but the most disgusting thing is when the lazy driver of the last bus of the day leaves early so you're stranded! Disgraceful company.

Negative experience: I have used the X20 bus just 3 times, each time it was the same driver , I won’t bother again he was extremely ignorant and rude and speaking to other passengers he is apparently always the same. Your providing a service and good manners and politeness goes a long way, he’s obviously in the wrong job..

Negative experience: The buses always leave and arrive late. Drivers get to the bus station early, park the bus and then go out to the coffee shop or the toilet. By the time they are finished, the buses are running late already. Basically it seems like they have hired all the drivers Arriva didn’t want anymore because I recognise them and how they were rude and belligerent to customers. Around a year ago I could catch the redline x20 to Thame and be there on time every time. Now I’m speaking to my employer about changing my hours/flexible hours because they can’t reliably get me somewhere as per their own timetable.

Then driver very narrowly missed post office van parked halfway on pavement and road.Then he didn't slow down approaching roundabout and to brake sharply to avoid a motor already on roundabout.Have phoned the bus service twice,but they have not replied. Negative experience: Worst bus service ever. Verry rude drivers with an extremely unreliable service. X20 almost always is late or never shows up. Also the bus that runs through A41 is horrible and again, is extremely unreliable. There are always so many clashes between what's said on the timetable and the company website when it comes to bus schedules. I purchased a one day pass yesterday to go to Oxford, and wasn't able to go back home with redline buses from an apparent X20 route that was meant to show up at high street, even though I was leaving at 17:30ish, and at the time, there were approximately 3/4 more busses that were meant to be available to go back to Aylesbury. This bus company just takes your money, only for you to take an uber back home or an arrivabus back home. Avoid at all costs, this is the only way companies like these will improve in the future!!!

Negative experience: 4a bus service is always late, today waiting at High Street bus stop, bus late as usual. It picked up at wrong stop due to another bus picking up in front, people were waiting at correct stop, I put my hand up and he ignored me and drove passed. This is not good enough. What a difference from the excellent service we used to have from the number 5 bus company!! No point complaining to BCC they are not interested so much for privatisation!!

Negative experience: 18/10/22 Bus was due at 05:41. Actually left at 05:35. As someone who relies on this bus to get to work on time. This is not acceptable. You produce timetables for a reason, maybe your drivers could do there job and keep to the timetable set by the company. Sadly this is not the first time it has happened

Negative experience: To be honest, I thought these were the better bus company in Aylesbury, that was until I got verbally assaulted by a number of their drivers. One telling me that I shouldn’t be catching buses with my illnesses and disabilities. Not only do I carry a bus pass, but I carry a bus pass for my disabilities and illnesses. Redline Drivers are rude and need a lesson in how to address people with disabilities.

Positive experience: My son has been using the bus between Brackley and Buckingham for a year now to get to and from school. The bus driver is nice and the bus is usually on time and pretty reliable, however, my son rarely gets a seat, the bus is full to bulging by the time it leaves Brackley, I feel sorry for the children that get on after Brackley, how they fit in I can only imagine! I resent paying in excess of £600 a year for my son to stand on a packed bus.

Negative experience: 320 bus should stop at Princes Risborough Market Square before going to Longwick however yesterday the 22nd August the driver who I can describe as African did not turn up several times from Market square Princes Risborough . The times were just after 6 , 7, 8 pm these are the buses which go to the train station to leave at 615 715 and 815. In the end I had to walk to the train station to get the 915 as I knew it would leave from there .He turned up at 9 then we waited for 15mins and left . By now I was frustrated as I had been waiting 3 hours for a bus . What I can see the driver had done is if no one is at the station he goes straight to Chinnir and missed the market square and Longwick route . On the way back he does the same he misses the Longwick route and Market Square. . When we got to the turning which goes right to Longwick or Left for Chinnor he asked if anyone wanted Longwick and I said yes other he was going to miss that route and go straight to Chinnor. Let’s say I didn’t want Longwick other people might have been in Longwick waiting for the bus but would have been waiting in vain because he would have gone to Chinnor and missed the Longwick route if I didn’t say I wanted Longwick. This is happening a lot not only by him but by all of the drivers in the day as well because the route is generally quiet they assume no one will be at the bust stops in Longwick or Market Square and do not go there. I am very dissappointed in the service fir this route especially yesterday . I have actually reported this route before as the drivers often miss certain routes. And this is not acceptable. I had finished work and imagine i had to wait over 3 hours for a bus to get home . This is serious the driver needs to be disciplined . There are lots of other incidences from other drivers and I will be reporting them .as well. I didn’t know this review site existed until now that’s why I haven’t previously used.

Negative experience: These are the most dangerously driven buses in the area. I work very close to one of their depots in gatehouse close, Aylesbury and frequently see their antics around the town. They pull out right in front of a loaded moving truck, hit park cars and do not stop and I have seen them brake so hard they tip passengers out of seats. I have enough dash cam videos to start a YouTube channel about these guys.

Negative experience: I would appreciate if you read this the whole way through, before sending your child or yourself on this bus. Our school bus has switched from Z&S to Redline (760/765), and my god have they not made the best first impressions. First, the buses. I thought Z&S buses were bad quality (as far as school buses are concerned) but all the Redline buses I have been on (they change every time) have been at least 15-20 years old, rattly and have some beeping/warning alarm going off. Some floors are covered with water and some seats have been ripped with another colour cloth sewed back on. The two school buses used in my village are the 760 and 765. Both are always full, and the 760 has at least 15 people standing up (from the last couple stops) with nothing to hold onto. There is also space for at least 8 more seats, but there is just empty space which does not help. Z&S didn't have this issue. Next the drivers. Most don't speak proper English, making it hard to communicate with them about anything. Half of them don't know where all the stops are - so stop halfway to the next stop, in the middle of the road. They also drive like its grand turismo and go round corners so fast that the bus feels like it is going to tip! While slouching in their seat with one hand on the steering wheel without a mask. Nor do they have any care or patience for other drivers. They never wait, and beep their horns if anyone gets in their way. They make sure they get as close as humanly possible to the car in front, and often speed (35mph in villages). We have also scraped a couple of cars lightly going passed them, but the driver didn't seem to notice. The thing is, for a car this may not be a massive issue, but this is a school bus. And the bus drivers are responsible for the safety of 100s of children, which they don't seem to be taking seriously.

Negative experience: bus never turned up, customer service didnt care

Negative experience: On Thursday 11th May 2017 a 132 Redline Bus was parked stationary at the Buckingham high street Bus station with its engine running for 14 minutes from 14 : 46 until 15:00. During this time , the driver wandered around aimlessly outside of the bus. 5 members of the public had to move out of the bus shelter which was being fumigated by diesel fumes from this bus. Any sensible driver would have switched the bus engine off. The management should think of the cost of the wasted diesel fuel, the extra pollution caused and the possibility of a fine being imposed on Redline .

Negative experience: Two buses didn't run this morning on the No. 4 route. The drivers know nothing.

Negative experience: It says on the website nothing about no buses running on new year eve so hundreds of people have been waiting at the bus stops and no buses turning up - disappointed

Fantastic experience: I have travelled with this bus company for many years now. I feel that Redline Buses provide an outstanding service. whenever i have any queries the admin staff are very active and provide me quality care. the bus drivers are well dressed and are very welcoming whenever i enter the bus. i have never had a problem riding on these buses.

Negative experience: Absolutely awful. I was verbally abused and intimidated by a large Asian driver on the 6.30am service on the 55 service this morning. I was completely taken back by his aggressive and threatening behaviour because I produced a Bucks weekly saver for a Redline service going to Wendover road 5 minutes from Aylesbury terminus. He threw me off his bus even though other drivers for the last week accepted this same ticket on the same service. I have never before been threatened or treated this way on any public transport. Disgusted is a mild term for driver on KF52 NBM on the route 55 at 6.30am from Aylesbury terminus on 7-2-17 W

Negative experience: Still waiting for a phone call about your bus drive that's nearly hitting my husbands vehicle head on as he was to impatient to wait & overtook a parked car!!!!
