Nick the assistant manager always goes the extra mile to make sure our holiday is the best it can be from booking it to returning home . He listens & takes the time to really cover every detail & having known him for many years I feel he builds up rapport with a customer & goes to great lengths to provide excellent , stress free holidays . Sandra, Nick & the team are the best. They provide the very best prices with extra discounts always going above & beyond for customers . Fantastic experience: Just returned from another Holiday booked through Preston Travel. The whole team are absolutely brilliant doing what they do best. Being Coeliac can be difficult to get the Hotels abroad to cater for your needs & Preston Travel have made sure I was properly catered for. Fantastic experience: I just wanted to thank the wonderful Nick at PTC for sorting out a wonderful holiday for us. Our friends are getting married in Vegas next year and he booked us a weeks stay at The Bellagio with flights. We then decided to tag on a road trip after our stay in Vegas and Nick quickly and professionally made all the arrangements necessary to accommodate our change of plan. Nick particularly has been so helpful and patient throughout each of our holiday bookings, guiding us to the best value for money options, researching local resorts to ensure we chose the best one for us (and were not easy customers..lol) . Fantastic experience: There is only one place to book your holiday, they are friendly , very capable and very , very patient! We’ve had several holidays , using Preston travel centre and they helped us with everything, even the location forms were filled in by them and emailed to the hotel already for us to just pick up. We can’t recommend them enough .

Fantastic experience: We have done a lot of travelling in Australia New Zealand, U.S.A & Canada. Most of these holidays have been for 4-6 weeks, with multiple flights between the areas we wanted to visit. Given a bit of leeway over dates etc. we have had the most cost effective air fares possible every time. Wouldn't go anywhere to book holidays. Thanks to the whole team, who have never let us down.

Negative experience: Sorry it was a big disappointment. We had a budget of 2500 for 3 on a family holiday to greece. Unfortunately they couldn't get us anything less than 3200!. I booked online to thru a travel website the same hotel we were quoted on and got it for 2400 with a superior room all luggage transfers all inclusive etc. Couldnt hear the agent in the shop as other customers sat so close all the conversations were overlapping. No parking anywhere too

Positive experience: My friend and I booked a holiday to Benidorm through Nicky and the service was brilliant. Nicky came up with a very good package for us and was very helpful in all aspects of the booking. We couldn't of asked for any more

Negative experience: Will never use Preston Travel Centre ever again. Paid £332 each for a 4 night stay in Lloret De Mar to celebrate a friends Hen do. The bride had originally wanted to go to Benidorm, but was told would become too expensive for the 13 of us. Lloret de Mar was suggested by the travel agents as was all inclusive and only an hour away from Barcelona airport. First things first Barcelona airport is NOT an hour from Lloret (like the travel agents said), our transfer was the best part of three hours!!! Dropped off at the side of the road,with no clue as to where the hotel was.our Spanish friend was shouted at by the coach driver when asking for directions. We eventually did manage to find the hotel with the help of a policeman. Upon arrival at the hotel we were told we would have to pay room tax, which the travel agents failed to mention to us. When we got to the rooms ( we had booked triples) we found it was just a double room with an extra bed put in!!! This was a major health and safety hazard as the balcony doors would not open , neither could the wardrobe doors, there was just no where to move. After all the travelling we went to get something to eat from the snack bar, to find the only food available was prepacked frozen sandwiches, as well as finding out you had to pay for bottled water, hardly all inclusive!! In our group we had a pregnant lady and another lady who has type 1 diabetes, so was far from ideal that this was the only food on offer. Subsequently we rang Preston travel centre to see what they could do about the issues that we had, to be told by 'Abby' it wasn't her problem and had nothing to do with the travel agency(despite taking our money) and that we would have to ring up Jet2. The so called customer service which we recieved from Preston Travel Cente was appalling. I would never recommend anyone to use this travel agents.

The hotel: https://www.jet2holidays.com/spain/costa-barcelona-costa-brava/lloret-de-mar-barcelona/guitart-rosa-hotel was selected from the numerous options provided within the budget specified to us. All information about the transfer, drop-off and economic rooms is provided in the description, which was researched prior to booking. The city tax, which was advised at the time of booking, was also shown on all Jet2 Holidays issued paperwork. As soon as we were made aware of any problems in resort, we made numerous calls to Jet2 Holidays to try and get them resolved and all calls in the office are recorded as evidence of this. The Jet2 Holidays Rep advised the group they would not be able to see you until the following evening, but due to Abby's persistence, a Jet2 Holidays Resort Rep came to see the group and provide assistance the same day.
Negative experience: Preston Travel Centre have got to be the worst travel agents I have ever come across. Recently went on a hen do with 12 friends and even tho the bride wanted Benidorm, the agents convinced her this hotel in Lloret De Mar was perfect for our needs, all inclusive and only an hour transfer from Barcelona airport - brilliant!! How wrong were they?! It was in fact the best part of a 3 hour drive! After being dropped off by the side of the road (not our hotel) and our Spanish friend receiving abuse from the female coach driver for asking for directions, we made it to our hotel with the help of 2 policemen. First impressions - looks nice. Checked in and told we had to pay room tax - at no point did Preston Travel inform us of this! We made our way to our rooms and stepping out of the lift we felt like we were in a hostel! On further inspection of the rooms we discovered that they were actually double rooms with an extra bed put in to sleep 3!! This was a health and safety hazard as the balcony doors and wardrobe wouldn't open because there was no room! After all the travelling we were starving so went to see what snacks were available from the ALL INCLUSIVE bar. Frozen sandwiches that's what. We had a type 1 diabetic and a pregnant lady in our group. Not ideal is it? We rang Preston Travel and the customer service we received from Abby was disgusting. She needs lessons in customer care, denied any responsibility and blames Jet2, even though we paid Preston Travel, was recommended by Preston Travel, not Jet2, £332 each for 4 days all inclusive - which we found wasn't available. Not to mention the name changes we did. First quoted £100 each then Preston Travel upped it to £150. Jet2's website quoted £35 per name change. This travel agents should be avoided like the plague - disgusting customer service, they should be ashamed. If I could rate them 0 stars I would. Legal action pending.

Regarding the Tourist Tax, this was shown on confirmations issued by Jet2 Holidays up to and including the amendment invoice showing the £150.00 per person name change. Name changes with Jet2 Holidays within 14 days of travel are charged at £150.00 per change, as shown here https://www.jet2holidays.com/faqs#faqs2-29 and unfortunately, are completely out of our control. All calls in the office are recorded and assistance was provided on the day to try and resolve issues. We will also follow up any complaints received at the office as per Jet2 Holidays complaints procedure.
Negative experience: Avoid like the plague! PRESTON TRAVEL CENTRE After care is NIL! Only want your money then take no further responsibility when you call them from your destination with a problem! Charge £150 per name change on a ticket when Jet2 charge only £35 per person! Abbeys customer service skills are non existent! To say "it's not my problem" when clearly our contract is with Preston Travel Centre! It clearly is your problem! Sandra Ollerton you must be very proud of your choice of employee! In fact Sandra Ollerton you should be ashamed of yourself treating customers in such a terrible manner! Let's see who's problem it is when legal action is taken against you! I might just add that we have the Jet2 rep onside too! AVOID PRESTON TRAVEL CENTRE
Negative experience: Wouldn't allow payment for a change of name to the holiday at the time I tried to pay - had a confirmation email stating the price but when they finally said we could pay there was an increase of £50 per person making the total admin fee £150 per person. When this was questioned even though there was an email clearly stating they would charge £100 they blamed the airline. On contact with the airline they informed us it was £70 admin fee. Preston travel clearly saw an opportunity and held the booking to ransom. The agents have been unsupportive of the complaints made about the hotel (3beds in twin rooms leaving doors unable to be closed) I also suspect "friends" have left a couple of positive reviews in order to keep the stars up seeing as there have been no others in months up until the party below started to comment. BE VERY AWARE OF THIS TRAVEL AGENT IS THE TRUE REVIEW

Negative experience: Preston travel centre are rude, unsympathetic and don't care once they've taken your money! Do not book with them if you want a nice holiday, and if you do book please be aware that they will over charge you should you need to change names on the booking, overcharge by £150...We booked a holiday for 13 to Lloret de mar for my sister in laws hen do, she had wanted Benidorm but we were advised of a lovely hotel in Lloret de mar that was all inclusive and would suit our needs better. We were told there would be an hour transfer from the airport, it was three hours in total, we were dropped off at the side of a main road as the coach couldn't access the road outside our hotel, our Spanish speaking friend was shouted at when she asked for directions, after asking a police man we eventually found our hotel. Once we were checked in, we found our rooms to be very basic and not in the best state of repair, however, not wanting to upset the bride we unpacked and continued to the bar area for some refreshments, it had been four hours since the airport now and having a pregnant lady and a type 1 diabetic we were distraught to find that all that our "all inclusive" package had to offer was frozen sandwiches and we couldn't even get bottled water. The pool was in a poor state of repair, everything was just dirty and broken! So, as we booked through PRESTON TRAVEL CENTRE we called them to see how they could help.... I personally made the phone call as the bride to be was in tears! I was told by 'Abby' that it wasn't her problem, it was Jet2! So it seems that Preston travel centre don't care what they sell you as long as they get their money, you could be dropped in the middle of the desert and that would be ok! All 13 of us have now appointed a solicitor to reclaim our Miss sold holiday, one lady has been to the doctors as she has returned with flea bites, another has an ear infection, most probably caused by the pool not being cleaned, the pregnant lady was concerned as another group of holiday makers had seen bar staff fill bottles of water from the tap! The type 1 diabetic has returned with a sickness bug meaning that she vomits every time she eats causing her to go hypoglycaemic! But it's not Preston travel centre's problem! It will be when they receive their letter from the solicitors and the terrible feedback, reputation is everything. * In response to the reply from Preston travel centre. I'm glad to hear that all phone calls are recorded, I'm sure my solicitor will be requesting a copy. I don't care where you will be passing on our letters onto, my contract was with you and you've Miss sold us a product! What ever you choose to do any further than that is none of my concern. There was assistance of a sort offered, when the rep was contacted by yourselves and you said to call back should they not arrive, we did and was faced with 'it's not our problem, it's Jet2' t not the after care I was expecting to be honest. The rep couldn't believe the amount that we had paid yourselves and the amount that you had charged to change the. Ames on the bookings. I will deliver our corrispondance personally before the 28 days.

Negative experience: We booked with the travel centre a hen do to lloret de mar as we arrive there we had a 3 hour transfer to the hotel we were told (1hour) as we arrive at the hotel at 3.30 they put our all inclusive blacaletes on and we were send to the rooms, the room were doubles made into triples we had to move the beds to get Into the rooms (fire hazard) we didn't walk out to balcony as we thought it was going to fell down we went down to have something to eat and the bar had run out of snacks (on high season) and we were offer frozen sandwiches, we had a pregnant lady and another one with lactose intolenace and diabetic we had to pay for the water (we were all inclusive) but when we rang the travel centre and Abby told us that it wasn't nothing to do with them that we have to ring jet2 when they sort all out holiday out and not jet2 Abby wasn't helpful and very rude, of course the 13 of us are now back to the uk and the solicitor is been contacted we will se who's fault it was Abby.

Negative experience: I visited Preston Travel Centre to change 100 USD into GBP. The male assistant thought it was $1,000 instead of $100 and said he didn't think they had enough sterling in stock. I assured him it was the latter. Halfway through counting the dollars, he suddenly disappeared into the Assistant Manager's office for some kind of consultation. Then she came out and rudely stared at me without a word. Then I was asked to produce ID. Finally I was asked why I wanted to change the money. I wanted to know why there were so many questions. "Money laundering," said the assistant. I replied that it was hardly worth laundering £73.00. This was met with a frosty response. A wholly underwhelming experience during which I was made to feel like a criminal just for changing a few dollars. Next time I'll go to the bank.
Thank-you for your comments. We require identification for all foreign currency transactions carried out at the office, which is a regulation specified by our currency providers. If we have done a banking for foreign exchange, we only carry a very small float, so it is possible that we didn't have enough cash on the premises for the small buy back.
