Negative experience: My father's booked flights with this travel agency last year. Two different flights. Due to the pandemic, it had to be cancelled. They promised to refund the flights costs. However, several months after, they are no longer reachable. All phone numbers are directing us to a voicemail that is already full and can't take in anymore voice messages. This is ridiculous! This travel company is impossible to get hold off, and it appears ro me that they're avoiding any form of customer services!

Negative experience: Last year in March I did a two-week internship at peoples travel. I would never want to work there ever again. During this time I noticed that the travel agency was very unprofessional and I would never recommend anyone to book a trip there. I was used like a cheap labour force and the only task in the 2 weeks was scanning documents all day long. I cannot recommend anyone to do an internship there. I was only exploited and can hardly get any added value from the internship. The aim was that the company would give me economic knowledge and show differences to my employer in Germany. Only when my superiors came to visit, the appearance of the company was presented in a great way. Furthermore, I haven't received my promised reference letter yet. Even though I have contacted Mariah, the boss of peoples travel, several times, I haven't received my promised reference letter for my CV. What also shows how unprofessional the company is.

Negative experience: Once you have paid for your ticket customer service is somewhere between appaling and non-existant, particularly when stranded abroad. In future I shall buy flights direct from an airline, which might cost a few extra pounds, but if there are any problems I shall be able to sort them out directly with airline.

Positive experience: I have used the company over the years for my holidays to India and the Far East. I have always found their rates to be competitive and service has never been an issue. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Negative experience: If I could give this company a 0 I would. I have used them a few times and recommended them to others as they were very efficient on my first few bookings. Unfortunately, I booked a trip over Christmas and had a number of things which went wrong but the main issue for me is the fact that it still has not been resolved, even after various emails to the management there. I have ended up paying for transfers which I had paid for through the company and I was left 3 times whilst I was away with no transfers turning up as well as then missing parts of my trip. I would not recommend People's Travel.
