Fantastic experience: We've just returned from a wonderful 10 days in Tanzania courtesy of Umang and Beena at UBON Safari. I approached UBON Safari back in December with the idea of my wife and I renewing our wedding vows in Tanzania following 15 years of marriage. I wanted to arrange something special for my wife who had always dreamt of going on Safari. Umang explained that they had arranged several weddings and had some great ideas of what we could do. We didn't have an open budget and therefore UBON Safari had their work cut out to arrange something special but within a reasonable budget. Oh boy, they didn't disappoint. Whilst I set out with the aim of my wife having surprises during the trip, Umang and Beena insisted that I needed surprises too. We had too many to mention throughout our trip but everything was just perfect and so thoughtful. The two of them took a leading role in organising the ceremony and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was clearly evident throughout that they have a passion for making special memories for their clients. It was our first time using a smaller tour operator but for the very reason of wanting a personal service which was received throughout our trip. We spent an amazing few days in the Serengeti, which included a Masai ritual at sunrise followed by a Masai blessing at Gong Rock and a further ritual under an Acadia tree. The whole camp joined in our celebrations. During the evening we danced around the campfire with the Masai group which was a perfect end to the day and one we will never forget. It was then on to Zanzibar for our honeymoon which was a fantastic destination at a hotel on the beach. We were spoiled by everyone who were all going out of their way to make us feel special during our time there. We are so grateful to UBON Safari for everything they organised for us. Being from Tanzania themselves, they are so knowledgeable on the best camps, the best guides and the best way to get the most out of Africa. This was our first long haul trip and Umang kept in touch with us at every step to ensure we knew what to do next, where we had to be and who we should look out for. This was so helpful as we would have struggled on our own. Through our trip, we fell in love with Africa and will certainly be organising another trip with Umang and Beena very soon. Asante sana. Fantastic experience: We have just returned from an amazing visit to Tanzania. Everything was absolutely perfect. Umang and Beena at Ubon Safari listened, adjusted and planned our itinerary to suit our budget and our requirements, suggesting other things too, based on their own experiences. Every little detail was perfect, from the day we got off the plane to moment we were dropped back to the airport again! We were matched with the most brilliant guide (Ally ) who stayed with us for the whole of our safari. His knowledge and passion was outstanding. Fantastic experience: In February 2023 I travelled alone to Tanzania with UBON Safari looking after me. The purpose of my trip was to climb Kilimanjaro and then a safari into Tarangare. I can honestly say I have never been so well looked after on my travels. My family had daily updates during my climb as I had no way of staying in touch. Fantastic experience: From the moment we made contact with Umang and Beena of Ubon safari they have guided us and worked really hard to ensure we made the best out of our trip.... and so patient with our numerous questions! The holiday was the best ever! The accommodation was fantastic, the food was to die for, the guides in both Kenya and Tanzania were extremely knowledgeable and mindful of our comfort and safety throughout, and made sure we had the best experience East Africa had to offer. To see the big five and the wild beast migration in their natural habitat was a dream come true, and the highlight has to be the flamingoes at the Ngorongoro! Not forgetting the birthday cakes organised by Umang and Beena for my sister in laws special birthday! Fantastic experience: Umang and Beena planned a 2 month African tour for my partner and I, all the way from Australia. He would FaceTime us at a time that was convenient. We starting in South Africa and finishing in Jordan. We visited 7 countries in total and could not fault a single part of this trip! From the beginning they were able to amend our itinerary with aspects of countries we were interested in. They were able to change plans on the go as well as we wanted to add some extra activities. One of the most appreciated things, was their continuous communication to make sure we were okay, even to the point of booking us a doctors appointment in a foreign country. Would 100% use them again for future travels.

I contacted several tour operators in the initial stages of planning and Ubon Safari were by far the most helpful and thorough. They provided expertise on the travel route, transportation, accommodation and excursions, as well as advice on how to prepare for the trip. Their local knowledge and insight was invaluable! Fantastic experience: Victoria Falls River Lodge is nothing short of amazing and the experience my fiancé and I had was much the same. From the moment we arrived at the dock we were welcomed with open arms with friendly faces. The quick boat ride to the lodge was relaxing and it was so nice to be on the Zambezi River. Upon arriving we were greeted by more friendly staff members and were given a welcome drink of champagne. The views from the common area were just beautiful and so peaceful. Loved all the banded mongoose running around. The hospitality from all staff was amazing and you can see why it is one of the top places to stay and visit in Zimbabwe and Africa. The activities were great and the knowledge of the guides was fantastic. I would recommend anyone who is thinking of coming to Vic Falls to stay here. Umang and Beena made our stay extra special for my fiancé and I as we were celebrating our anniversary by gifting us with spa vouchers. It was a wonderful surprise and very much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: We have recently returned from our first safari which was organised by Umang and Beena at UBON Safari. We had a wonderful 9-day trip visiting the Maasai Mara and Serengeti. We saw an amazing number of animals which far exceeded our expectations. The pre-trip planning was well organised and we felt comfortable and well informed from the very beginning; Umang and Beena kindly and patiently dealt with our various requests and changes in a friendly and professional manner and tailored a seamless itinerary and experience for us. From the moment we landed in Nairobi, we were well taken care of and the trips and internal flights were superbly organised, which made it smooth and less worrisome for us. Umang and Beena were in contact with us throughout the trip which was very reassuring, in case we needed assistance. Thankfully we encountered no major issues during the whole trip. We stayed in five different accomodations (and boarded seven flights) and our stays at the Governors Camp and Singing Grass in particular made our trip even more memorable. All the lodges were comfortable with en-suite bathrooms, hot water, bottled water and access to power 24/7. All staff were friendly and helpful. The guides were fantastic and very accomodating with our group of five, ages ranging from 14 to 84 years old. They had great passion and took pride in showing us around and sharing lots of knowledge. Great driving and people skills but mostly the determination to give us the best possible experience as nothing is guaranteed on a safari. Our particular thanks to Sopia, Matthew in Maasai Mara and Ally in Tanzania! It was indeed an experience of a lifetime however we won't hesitate to contact UBON Safari should we decide to go on another safari, or wholeheartedly recommend UBON Safari to our family and friends! Fantastic experience: The trip we booked with Ubon Safari to Kenia was amazing! Umang and Beena are lovely people, took a lot of time and had much patience to organize a unique trip for us. The trip was perfectly organized. When we arrived in Kenia, a member of the Umangs Team welcomed us, guided us to our pick-up point and helped us with the immigration. At every destination we were picked-up on time. All Hotels and lodges were high end and all staff/people in Kenia were amazing. Even the timings between the different flights in Kenia from one Safari Park to another were on point. Everytime we head over to the next destination or to the next Hotel Umang asked via WhatsApp, if everything is nice or he could help with anything. Therefore we felt pretty safe during the whole trip! We highly recommend the services of ubon Safari and will of course book again sometime.

Fantastic experience: This time the trip was to Botswana with our 9-year-old grandson. I decided to contact Ubon Safari as I have used them before and know their service, helpfulness, and professionalism, so it was Ubon Safari that was to help and guide us again. Our trip lasted 11 days at 4 different lodges/camps. All carefully selected to suit us perfectly. Everything was packed and went smoothly, no hip hops. We felt very safe during the trip, both before, during, and after the journey. Umang wrote a little message asking if we had arrived safely and if everything was as it should be every time we reached a new place, and we knew we could get in touch 24/7 if needed. I can only give Ubon Safari the highest recommendation even if you don't live in England. PS. Our grandson was spoiled by everyone and we had the happiest boy.

Fantastic experience: My father and I used Ubon Safari for our hike up Kilimanjaro. A friend of mine had recommended them to us & now I can't recommend them enough to everyone. They were so friendly from the start, and Umang was flexible with us at short notice, very affordable & selfless in his tips and tricks. During the whole journey, I got regular check ins from Umang, making sure we were picked up from the airport safely & that everything was in order for us. We reached the peak of the mountain, and on the way down Umang consistently made sure we felt okay, was more than happy to sort out anything else we needed & really made our trip an experience of a lifetime. I don't do reviews often, but I feel compelled to for Ubon Safari. 5 stars!!!!!

These two know their stuff and look after you before, during and after your journey! They created the most wonderful and bespoke honeymoon package for us. They literally did everything - it was completely stress free. The safari itself was magical - a once in a lifetime experience! They had hand picked places that went beyond what we could have imagined - we truly had the time of our lives! I found this experience so much more personal than going with a huge corporation where you are just a number. Umang and Benna are both originally from Africa and they check out all the places they recommend, so they really do know their stuff. Fantastic experience: I contacted Ubon Safari with many other safari operators in order to arrange for my group trip to Botswana. I ended up choosing Ubon Safari because they showed accurate and significant knowledge, professionalism, quick response and the most important factor was, they meet my budget (with slightly difference that I could digest). They were super friendly & informative on the communication perspective, I can assure that they have the strongest communication skills. And were approachable whenever I needed to contact them. Ubon Safari provided me with various trip plans/packages to choose from, that cover most of the points of interests I had mentioned regarding Botswana. Phone call meeting after another and Ubon safari got to know me and what I liked and disliked, and made it easy with their expertise to put together an itinerary of this safari trip. The lodges and guides that have been recommended and chosen by Ubon Safari were the the highlight of the trip. At each place we stayed in the staff knew who we were and the details of our travel plans, so that everything worked smoothly. The services we had were excellent and beyond our expectations. Staff, and guides were professional and we felt well looked after by both Ubon Safari and local staff. Everyone was very friendly and hospitable. We had a last minute situation that canceled an important day trip due to weather conditions. Ubon Safari was familiar with such situations and overcome the situation with a great alternative plan that fit in the itinerary quickly and fulfilled the gap that popped up because of the cancellation. Another tragedy we had for one of the group trip members. Umang & Beena from Ubon Safari spent a very respectful effort to make this unexpected health issue as convenient as possible and scheduled the related changes accordingly. The changes they made covered the itinerary under the contract with them and beyond that contract, they kept and still keep checking on us after we are back to busy life at our home country. Fantastic experience: Umang, the Safari Director, was hands on from the initial planning of our trip to Tanzania. We landed in Kilimanjaro airport and was picked up by Lucas, tour guide and driver for our 13 days adventure. We went to Arusha and stayed two nights in this city. We bought SIM cards for our phone, visited the Tanzanite Museum, exchanged some dollars to shillings, and spent about an hour at the Cultural Center which was quite amazing museum. Do go there, it’s fascinating. After the 2 days rest, we were escorted to fly on a small Cessna to North Serengeti about an hour and a half ride. Here, we stayed at Acacia Migration Camp. Our three days stay were the best as we were the luckiest to see two days straight of the migration of wildebeests and zebras returning from Kenya to Tanzania crossing the Mara River. We were ecstatic and so excited to witness this. Umang kept in touch with our guide, Lucas, everyday to ensure our trip was going smoothly. He didn’t disappoint us one bit. Everyday was thrilling and full of surprises with the animals we saw. Elephants, lions, hyenas, warthogs, leopard, wildebeests and zebras galore. The staff at this camp was the friendliest and very professional. Omega and Antoine endlessly catered to us and we missed them after saying our goodbyes. Definitely will be back in couple years. Central Serengeti was our next stop. Stayed another three nights at Acacia Seronera Luxury Camp. There are more animal sightings here. Robert, the overseer and helper, did everything possible to cater to our needs. He was bartender, server, and name it, everything. The food was amazing and the tent was very luxurious. We were upgraded to two tents instead of one and I thank Umang and Lucas for getting the upgrade at all the camps. Our next two night stop was at Ngorongoro National Park at Lion’s Paw Camp. The staff was pretty good but not as friendly as the other two places. We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite and had the best view of the Ngorongoro crater and sunset. There aren’t as many animals here compared to Serengeti but the lake in the crater is so beautiful and I know I’d be back again. Our last two nights safari stay was at Acacia Tarangire Luxury Camp. On the way there we went to Lake Manyara National Park. We couldn’t get close to the lake because the roads were flooded from heavy rainfall but we had some amazing big cats sighting. The army of baboons also was very interesting to watch. Never in my life saw so many of them. They weren’t pests at all. At Tarangire, the staff composed of Allen the manager, Edward, Lucas the Masai, and chef were all very attentive and bent over backwards to satisfy our needs. It was an unforgettable three days there with bonfire every night and endless wine and vodka flowing. It was very difficult to say goodbye but I was definitely sure I would return here. There are no more words to describe our astonishing experiences in our safari trip. Definitely, you need a very good guide who knows the roads and where the animals were. The migration sightings were worth the few hours wait as we were the luckiest to have witnessed the crossings which are rare to see late October when most finished in September. We were very fortunate indeed. I’m so glad I chose Umang at Ubon Safari and Leopard Tours for our amazing Safari trip. It’s a true lifetime experience that we will never forget. Our life has already changed from this experience and can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Umang, for this amazing tour!

Fantastic experience: Words cannot describe the wonderful experience we have had on our trip to Tanzania organised by Umang and Beena at Ubon safari. We wanted our honeymoon to be extra special but to know where to start when planning a combined safari and beach trip was overwhelming, until we found Ubon safari. From the start of planning Beena quickly found great options to suit our ideas and budget and the whole experience from then on was absolutely outstanding. From the moment arriving in Tanzania we were SPOILT! All of our accommodation was 5* plus, we were always greeted and treated like VIPs and always had a little extra treat waiting for us on arrival. We can honestly hands down say we have never experienced service like we received during this trip. Our Safari was absolutely fantastic, our driver guide Ali was super knowledgeable and interesting and made sure we got to see everything we wanted and more. And then after, our beach trip to Zanzibar was just pure bliss, a private villa on the most beautiful beach; once again treated like VIPs. I actually shed a tear when leaving! Umang and Beena made sure everything was organised to perfection and was always checking in to make sure everything was going great and if we needed anything. This personal approach made us feel relaxed the whole time as we knew they had everything covered. All this during a Pandemic!!! Not that you would know about that when your there, we never felt so safe and it was the perfect place to social distance. Our 1st time to Africa and definitely won’t be our last, it now holds a very special place in our hearts and we have left feeling like we have made new friends in Beena and Umang. Fantastic experience: UBON SAFARI - one word Amazing! They put together an amazing trip for us to celebrate my dads big birthday in Tanzania where he was born. It was a very special trip for us all. The guides were fantastic they went above and beyond to ensure our trip was special - treated us like royalty. Ally was amazing - he ensured we saw the big 5 and more! Ahmed and Mtoo in Zanzibar also just amazing had a great tour of stone town and the spice tour. The staff at all the hotel were like family they knew who we were without even introduction - they ensured we had the best stay and food!! Umang was available throughout the whole trip - you would never get this with a normal travel agent. Prior to booking UBON Safari, we found it difficult planning our long trip to Africa (and we have traveled all over the world). Umang and Beena made it seamless and easy. Our first trip to East Africa (Kenya and Tanzania) was beyond amazing thanks to their services. We had special requests for our trip that they were able to accommodate which made our trip extra special and personal. Our trip was well-thought-out and well-planned. Fantastic experience: UBON Safari made my trip throughout Africa successful and easy to manage. I have never been to Africa before and wanted to go to a few countries on this trip (Tanzania, Madagascar, and South Africa). I did not know what the best way to go about planning and navigating through these countries. UBON Safari helped make the entire trip successful from landing to take off. In all regards, UBON did an outstanding job in helping us have a memorable experience. Because we were in a remote region of the country before the safari began, UBON arranged transport for us by ground to reach the national park where we stayed at the Ruaha River Lodge for three nights. We found the accommodations outstanding because they consist of individual cottages that reside along the Ruaha River in a spectacularly beautiful setting which affords one to the chance to simply sit on a porch before an enclosed bedroom to watch animals of all kinds visit the river, a mini-safari in itself! We drew tremendous serenity in sitting there quietly to watch elephants, giraffes, and antelopes parade by each morning and evening as storks and birds of all kinds joined the gatherings. As for the daily outings by open vehicle, we found them to be filled with varied sightings of wildlife, serene overlooks of gorgeous savannas, and enormously instructional because of the highly experienced guide and driver who accompanied us. Between outings, we enjoyed delicious meals at the lodge served by very pleasant staff who went out of their way to care for us as guests. When our stay was completed, we boarded an airplane from the airstrip at Ruaha to fly to Mafia Island, a flight arranged by UBON. Most touching to us was that UBON checked on us prior to our arrival at Ruaha and after we departed the park to ensure our journey carried on safely. That attention to detail and care for customers is something I will never forget. Fantastic experience: We enjoyed and followed a carefully and wise and with a lot of knowledge planned itinerary. “Gazelle Safaris” knows a lot about Tanzania, the people, the rhythm and stunning places to visit. And they seem also to know a lot about European families and their possible wishes, rhythms and ways of travelling. The different locations, camps, lodges, the guides who showed us the parks or drove us from one place to the next were all perfectly chosen and fitted exactly our dreams and met more then our expectations. Fantastic experience: I have been on safari with UBON in June and had a perfect safari experience in Ruaha NP, Tanzania. We booked a two and a half weeks safari with UBON including flights from Dar es salaam into the Ruaha NP for 9 persons. Arriving in the park we had two very comfortable safari cars and two very friendly and nice drivers and guides waiting for us. The Ruaha River Camp chosen by UBON was fantastic with extraordinary views over the Great Ruaha River and a lot of wildlife around the camp. Within the three days in the park we saw a lot of wildlife, especially lots of elephants, giraffes, lions and a leopard just next to our cars which our drivers were searching for the whole afternoon. As one person of our group had turned 50 just a few days before departure UBON had organised a birthday cake as a surprise which was brought to us at the first dinner with a lot of singing and dancing and a lot of good feelings for us. I left the group on the fourth day when we arrived in Iringa to go to the south of the country. The rest of the group stayed in Iringa for two days visiting different sites with our guides and proceeded to Udzungwa NP afterwards. After three amazing days at Hondo Hondo Tented Camp they went to Dar to fly to Zanzibar for the last week. All accommodations we got were perfectly chosen and we were in contact with UBON during the whole trip, even though it was just to say that we were happy and enjoying our vacation in Tanzania. It was not the first safari we have booked with UBON and I highly recommend everybody to book your safari with this highly professional tour operator. Fantastic experience: Beenaa and the whole team at Ubon are extremely helpful and very well connected for arranging travel. I have often been in a tight spot in Tanzania, needing flight tickets or changes with very little notice, and the Ubon team have always helped out and made all the arrangements on time and with no fuss for me.
