Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant experience from the booking which we were given clear instructions and meet points to the days adventure with tje guide /tutor who was exceptional. Mark helped us build confidence to face fears for myself and my 14 year old daughter. The gorge walking helped myself and my daughter work as a team and therefore building our relationship. The rock climbing was amazing. I Personally couldn't manage to climb very high but I was not pressured or made to feel uncomfortable. I was praised and look forward to trying again. Mark you are a superstar and a very professional and thoughtful instructor.

Fantastic experience: Myself and a group of friends had a great time doing a canyoning session on the upper section of Beezley falls. Mike and Hugh were amazing guides, getting us all off the biggest jumps and down the falls. Always felt safe and had great fun!!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience mountain biking for a birthday group, especially with (guide) Steve who took us on a great route that was both challenging and super enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: We met Dan as planned in the car park behind the shop at Hathersage. We climbed at Stanage Edge just minutes away. A short steep walk led to the rock face and we were all set with the necessary gear. The climbs were top-roped at first allow us to abseil back down. We finished with full belay climb about VDiff standard, just right for the group of three of us. We we instructed on how to belay from the ground. Dan made the half day exhilarating and challenging on a perfect autumn morning in fine warm weather.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful rock climbing and abseiling half day adventure at the Peak District. From the booking over the phone to the farewell, a fantastic experience overall. Mark was our guide and he was very accommodating to our group made up by people of all levels of abilities. Patient, helpful, encouraging and with a great sense of humour. We certainly ended with the desire to do more things and he advised us to look forward to the next trip.

Fantastic experience: We had a terrific day on the MAD 4 in the Peaks; doing canoeing, climbing, abseiling and gorge walking. The day was well planned out, the activity areas were amazing and our instructors (Dan - our main instructor, and Adam - our climbing instructor) were very accomodating to our novice group! Found a new love of climbing and the gorge walking was a good challenge for us all! Definitely recommend anyone to do it, even if it's not your usual thing, it's a great way to get out your comfort zone whilst having fun.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of gorge walking with a group 16 Fearless ladies at the weekend and Little Rich and Big Rich were on hand to look after us. Not only were they very professional they were kind welcoming and great fun, there was no pressure from either of them but we were well looked after and had a fantastic time. I highly recommend both the Rich's and Lost Earth Adventures.

Fantastic experience: Book the MAD! We had an incredible experience. Our instructors were extremely professional, personable, and adaptable to our fitness and skill levels. Matt took us on our river walk and it was an absolute blast! He let us explore safely and shared a ton of adventure knowledge for the area. Kieran and Tom took us to Stanage and proved talented at finding us routes to fit our experience level and styles we enjoy. They taught us a lot about climbing and gave us cues that stepped up our climbing game big time. The terrain was beautiful and the hobbying fun, but the staff truly made it a perfect experience. Absolute must for your Peak District adventures!

Fantastic experience: Excellent day. Fantastic instructors with a wealth of experience and great humour throughout a long day with a big group. Couldn't fault them. Jay was excellent. The gorge walking is a must.

Fantastic experience: Didn't have time to do more than one activity but we had a great time caving with a very kind, fun and knowledgeable instructor (very sorry we forgot his name). Great experience underground, with exciting moments crawling through tight spaces or wading through deep puddles and sometimes stopping to learn things about the cave you're in and its history. This isn't a boring cave tour you just walk around in and then come back out. You may be told to go to a car park first, but don't pay to stay there before you meet your guide because you may straightaway be taken to a different place to collect equipment, park for free and enter the cave. They give you a caving suit and a helmet with a lamp (no gloves). Make sure to bring a change of clothes, especially socks and trousers - shoes are fine, they give you wellingtons. If you really want to, you could bring some kind of knee or elbow pads for the crawling bits. Even in summer, if you get cold easily bring something warmer to wear because the cave we were in is perpetually at around 10 degrees Celsius. You're also going to want to wash your hands afterwards.

Fantastic experience: Attending a caving 3 hour session with my 13 year old son, Jon our guide was great and full of interesting information he shared with us both. My son and I loved it, would highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: We (3) have just come down off of Stannage Edge after an amazing days climbing with Henry. We have thouroughly enjoyed the days challenges and were impressed with Henrys professionslism and willingness to share his knowledge and experience. He tailored the day to suit our abilities and experience and was encouraging and informative in assisting my son in developing his ambition to get out on the crags himself, suggesting additional Lost Earth courses that would be useful. A day full of challenges, achievements and great memories. Thanks Henry and Lost Earth. We will be back.

Fantastic experience: Great afternoon's rock climbing at beautiful Stanage Edge. Domenica was great company, very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. And we it up the cliff via three different routes! Highly recommended.

Jonathan was a great leader and his enthusiasm for caving can shining through, except of course when we all turned the head torches off! Fantastic experience: A brilliant afternoon down in Calswark cavern. Two fantastic guides, Richard and Tom, both knowledgable and enthusiastic about the session. Some incredible formations underneath the surface and it was great to understand how and why they came to exist. A great afternoon crawling, squeezing and dragging our way through the caves.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing caving session with Tom and Rich at Calswark Cavern in the Peak District. Proper caving experience with a fun little abseil to start off. Came out very wet, very muddy and grinning like a Cheshire cat! Highly recommended for adventure seekers. Thanks guys!!
