Travel Tony, Not Just Travel

Fantastic experience: Tony helped recommend, then organise our family trip to the Maldives staying at the Adaaran Select Meedhupparau Resort. With a 15 and 18 year old we needed an island with plenty to do and it didn't disappoint on any level. From the moment we engaged with Tony to our safe arrival back (greeted with a welcome home card which was such a lovely touch) he was on hand to help and answer any questions. The personal service and attention to detail around our brief really made a difference. It was a fabulous trip which ticked all our boxes!

Fantastic experience: We needed to go to Crete for a family wedding. Finding the right accommodation close to the venue felt daunting. Tony arranged everything seamlessly! Our hotel was luxurious without being pretentious. They catered wonderfully for my husbands dietary needs. Transfers, taxis, just everything. I cant recommend Tony highly enough

Fantastic experience: After I retired Clare and I decided to do a world tour to visit friends and relations in the USA and Australia. We have used Tony’s services in the past and he quickly helped us firm up on the ideas for a world tour which would take us east to west visiting the USA, Canada, Australia and finally Singapore. He then presented us with an itinerary which met all our requirements; he finally went ahead and made all the airline and hotel bookings for us along with “meet-and-greet” ground transport arrangements. Every aspect of the world tour went as planned. The hotel types were varied, ranging from modern business-class to quaint but high-quality boutique-types. Perhaps the highlight for us was to find each hotel was not only selected based upon quality but on its position in the city, typically giving us easy walking access to many of the sights we wanted to see. We had a fantastic holiday and were reassured that wherever we were, Tony was available to contact if we had any issues. As it was, everything went as planned, we had a great time and we were able to leave Tony in peace!

Fantastic experience: Tony organised our whole trip to Thailand everything was absolutely perfect from flights/accommodation transfers and tour guides. Having everything organised by Tony took all the stress of us doing ourselves. He adds the personal touch and nothing is to much trouble We would highly recommend Tony and will certainly be using his services again.

Fantastic experience: As a family that's not been beyond Europe for the last 15 years, we were slightly nervous about booking a big holiday but we entrusted our "once-in-a-lifetime" Mauritius trip to Tony and I'm really glad we did. Tony has detailed knowledge of destinations in all corners of the World and having listened to all our needs he recommended a beautiful hotel that ticked all our boxes, as well as a couple of other options over a range of prices. Not only was the resort just what we were looking for, Tony had picked it for its location: it was on the sheltered side of the island with the best weather and the nicest beaches, but also within easy reach of the capital where we planned to visit family during our trip. Tony also took the trouble to recommend some things for us to see during the holiday and gave us tips on how to go about it, which meant we enjoyed a number of local sights and experiences. In the run-up to the trip, we asked Tony to arrange travel insurance which was both straightforward and competitive, and in the days before the flight out, he prompted me to pre-book airport parking in order to save a few hundred pounds. I was concerned that some countries can be a pain to get into with additional requirements for Covid, passport validity etc., but Tony talked me through everything and really made it feel much less stressful. Needless to say, the trip was amazing, we had a wonderful time and both the resort and the whole island were fantastic. We were really struck by the caring attitude of all the staff at the resort which underlined why Tony recommended it in the first place... it truly was incredible. Tony checked in with us by text whilst we were away, and again when we returned - it was a great comfort to know that if we had any difficulties we could have just given him a call for advice or help. It goes without saying that we'll be booking all our holidays through Tony and Not Just Travel in the future.

Fantastic experience: Tony has done an amazing job of booking an extremely memorable holiday for a special birthday celebration. We visited 2 Greek islands Skiathos and Skopelos. All the transfers worked extremely well and both hotels found by Tony were beyond our expectations. We will certainly be using Tony again as this has made the booking and travelling process completely stress free.

Fantastic experience: My mother engaged Tony to organise a once-in-a-lifetime holiday: a safari in Tanzania followed by a beach week in Zanzibar for the 5 of us. Tony was extremely efficient & keen to plan & organise a trip that would meet our requirements. After the first ‘draft’, we suggested a few changes which Tony incorporated immediately. All the details & the itinerary were meticulously planned, organised & communicated to us. When the return flights were cancelled by the airline 2 weeks before the trip, Tony calmly provided 3 further options & rebooked our preferred option. A beautiful travel wallet containing all the necessary paperwork arrived prior to our trip & Tony was even contactable via email when we had a small query whilst in the Serengeti! The holiday was fabulous - an amazing 7-day safari, during which we stayed in the most luxurious lodges & saw the Big Six, followed by a week (which really was like being in Paradise!) at the Next Paradise Boutique hotel in Zanzibar. We are hugely grateful to Tony for planning & organising this - he has already booked another holiday for us at Christmas. We will certainly use him again & would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends.

Fantastic experience: Another great holiday booked with Travel Tony. Our second cruise booked with Tony on NCL Getaway from Rome to Lisbon. As always Tony took care of the whole booking from flights to transfers and the actual cruise. Seamless as always and any quries quickly answered by Tony (not having to wait in a phone queue or online chat). How much did this concierge service cost. Nothing. Exactly the same as if I booked it direct.

Fantastic experience: Tony has been absolutely amazing in booking us our "mini moon" as we could not go on our original honeymoon due to COVID. Tony recommended Malta as our destination to fit our budget and a 5 star hotel which most certainly lived up to its reputation. Tony phoned the hotel a few times before we went away and he managed an upgrade and bubbly and chocolates in our beautiful room on arrival. Fantastic experience: Tony arranged a fantastic River Cruise for us on the Danube to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. He advised which cruise company and which cabin on the ship would be best for our requirements. He also helped us with our Travel Insurance and his service and advice was fantastic. We would highly recommend Tony and hope to use him again when we are planning our next holiday.

Fantastic experience: We have just had one of our favourite holidays by far! Tony had co-ordinated everything down to the finest detail - we stayed in six different hotels, had multiple taxi/catamaran transfers and even hired a car with everything timed, planned and arranged to his usual standard of perfection! The hotels were all very different but were all amazing in their own right and were in keeping with their location. He knew the types of hotels we prefer, and we were never disappointed with his amazing selection. We have used Tony to book a number of holidays and would not go anywhere else - we cannot recommend him highly enough as his attention to detail, superb organisation and total understanding of our dream holiday expectations have never failed to give us yet another holiday of a lifetime.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I booked our honeymoon with Tony, and we are so glad we did! An absolutely effortless process - from Tony doing all the research, presenting options, notifying us of a superb deal, handling all logistics and ensuring we had good Covid cover and insurance. We had an absolutely incredible 7 nights in the Maldives, staying at Oblu Nature Helengeli. What a beautiful island, some of the best hospitality we have ever experienced and the most incredible house coral reef ringing the island. We were blown away by what you saw snorkelling; put your head right under the surface from any beach and you see such huge quantities of sea life; we saw an octopus, reef sharks, eels, schools of a wide variety of incredibly colourful fish and more. My husband did the scuba refresher course and one dive, and had great things to say about the dive school and instructors. The food choices were plentiful, we never got bored, and in particular loved the curries. The spa was so peaceful, and massages wonderful. The number one reason we had such an incredible time apart from the idyllic, luxurious paradise, was the top-class service and warm friendliness of all staff. We were blown away by how helpful and proactive everyone was. Thank you Tony - a perfect honeymoon to remember!

Fantastic experience: Thank you Tony for arranging such a fabulous (and much needed!) break in Croatia. The island of Korcula was beautiful and the sunsets from the old town were spectacular! All the travel arrangements ran like clockwork and we really appreciated leaving our luggage with the taxi driver while we enjoyed a day in Dubrovnik before our afternoon ferry to Korcula. Very happy to recommend Tony and we will be back to plan our next holiday.

Fantastic experience: Tony helped arrange a once in a life time trip to the Maldives for me my mum and my sister. He was meticulous with his planning from getting us the best sunset pod with our own private plunge pool, all the way down to airport assistance for my Mum who is registered disabled. He kept us up to date every step of the way and kept us in the loop with all of the added extras we could add to the holiday. It was the best holiday we have ever been on and we were so happy that we called Tony again to book a trip to Antigua a year later, the whole process was seamless and planned with such careful and precise detail again. Last year Tony organised a trip for me and my other half to Tulum, Mexico, we arrived to a surprise room upgrade- another personal touch that makes Tony one of a kind, and the service he provides so bespoke.
