Positive experience: Lovely setting, great accommodation Sadly we didn't get to do the cattle drive off the mountains so if that's the experience you are looking for check the specific dates before you go. Felt more like a sedate trail riding holiday than a working cattle drive/ranching experience. That said it was an amazing time with great people, wholesome food and stunning scenery

One bad hotel which I advised shouldn't be used by them anymore ann received slight compensation. But out of 20 hotels over 7 wk that was the only issue- great service by Jeanette in UK. Fantastic experience: Recently returned from a trip to Canada across the rockies and a cruise to Alaska. Jeanette and the team at Frontier Travel took our wish list and translated it into a fantastic itinerary and had some great ideas on how to enhance our holiday. Fantastic experience: After searching for two months for a ranch holiday backwards and forwards I had no joy with direct contact with ranches in the USA. I did a Google search and frontier travel popped up so I got in touch with them told them my requirements and within a couple of days, they gave me two options for ranches in Wyoming one of which was Blackwater Creek Ranch I dealt with Joanne. with all the correspondence and she sorted the holiday, the flights, the accommodation. took a lot of pressure off of me. Fantastic experience: This is the first time that we have used Frontier Ski and have just returned from a week skiing in Sun Peaks, British Columbia. Once we had decided on Sun Peaks, Michael’s recommendation of hotel, restaurants, ski runs and anything else to do with the resort was spot on. We found Michael’s blog extremely accurate and it enabled us to get the most out of the resort. We stayed at the Sun Peaks Grand which was ski in/out, right next to 2 chair lifts literally 30 seconds away. We cannot recommend Michael and Frontier Ski highly enough – everything was well organised, Michael was very responsive and provided a fantastic family holiday including flights, accommodation, lift passes and ski hire.

Fantastic experience: We have just returned from Panorama on our 8th Canadian ski trip with Frontier Canada and are now planning the 9th. We also used them for a trip to explore Bear Country in the wilds of BC which was amazing. Michael’s recommendations are always spot on and everywhere we have visited has been great. As with any snow related holiday, there have been occasional weather problems which Michael has always found the solution to, with a minimum of fuss.

Fantastic experience: We used frontier travel for our honeymoon to Canada and the experience from start to finish was fantastic. Jeanette was so helpful, very knowledgeable and was always very quick to respond. She organised the most brilliant day trips, fantastic hotels and lodges and was on hand when we needed to rearrange our rocky mountaineer trip due to the wildfires- completely removing the stress from the situation. Fantastic experience: We have just returned from a great Canada trip to see the Grizzlies and Polar bears (as well as Whales, Birds and stunning scenery) Jeanette (our agent) organised a great trip , all of the admin worked, the lodges were stunning, and we saw and saw well all of the animals we wanted to see. Fantastic experience: As a long standing user of FrontierSki to organise my ski safaris throughout Alberta and British Columbia, they have never let me down. My latest trip taking in Banff (Sunshine/Lake Louise), Whitewater, Red and Fernie at the beginning of March, pulled together by Michael was no exception. I find them friendly and helpful even when I ask to go to places not shown on their website. If only they could control the weather and snow conditions as well.

Fantastic experience: We stumbled across Frontier after having no luck engaging with a human with Crystal Ski. As our first time travelling to Canada for skiing we wanted bespoke advice from someone who is passionate about skiing and understood the resorts from first hand experience. We felt they truly understood the resorts intimately and more importantly understood our needs and what we like from a ski holiday. Their team was supportive and made the process of booking easy. They also helped us book a couple of days in Vancouver to end the trip off the slopes If we go to the US and Canada, we will definitely come back to Frontier.

Fantastic experience: I've used Frontier Ski for a number of Ski holidays to Canada over the last 15 years or so and have always had excellent service. They will build a custom package for you, and often, the final price of the holiday is similar to some of the larger Ski companies that just treat you as a number. I've dealt with Michael Williamson-Giles several times now, and he has always delivered a 5 star holiday at the best possible price. I've also used Frontier for a summer tour of Canada, and again, all aspects of the itinerary were excellent.

Fantastic experience: Jeanette was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in helping us as a family to set up a bespoke Fly Drive holiday to Western Canada (BC & Alberta). She gave excellent advice / recommendations and was very understanding and accomodating when at the eleventh hour we decided to make a last minute switch to avoid the wildfires raging near Kelowna and instead went to Revelstoke. Everything worked perfectly once we arrived in Canada - all of our bookings (hotel / ferry / car hire / transfer from airport) had been confirmed by they local travel partner. We were also very lucky as we saw an abundance of wildlife - Elk, Black bears, Moose, Caribo, Deer, Pica, Chipmunk, Black & Grey Squirrels on land and during the ferry rides both ways Humpback Whales, Dolphins and Seals. Fantastic experience: We have nothing but praise for all the work done on our behalf by Joanne Moores at Frontier Travel, to create a wonderful trip to Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec and Nova Scotia, from the earliest stages of planning - lots of flexibility and attention to detail - through the entire process of booking - again, all the necessary minute details dealt with - to advice about preparations - but, above all, to the final pleasure of the whole holiday. Just brilliant. Added to that, I must mention the help and support we were given when a hurricane threatened to disrupt the holiday, with official advice being "Don't Move!", a week in. Thanks to Frontier, Joanne and their Canadian partner, we were given alternative arrangements, virtually at the drop of a hat, and were able to ride out the storm in comfort. Overall a very interesting, but above all, great experience.

Fantastic experience: Top tips for USA, book Frontier and book with Joanne. If you want a Texas ranch Wildcatter Ranch is the ranch, thanks to Joanne for booking that bit. The views, horse riding and the food! If you want to waste money book elsewhere, Joanne and Frontier gave me a great holiday, saving where I could and spending where i needed too! Everything worked like clockwork while there. I'm quite sure my lets change this during the booking gave her a headache, but her advise and changing where we wanted made this a fantastic holiday I will never forget. I just need Joanne's advice what do I do with my new cowboy hat now back in the UK! Top tip from me apart from booking with Joanne, get a USA sim card on arrival, the joys of google maps showing me the fastest way to a bar or food! Also great when driving the interstate.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Frontier Ski to arrange a trip for a group of 7 Skiers we had skied Whistler before but wanted something different. Michael and I discussed options back in May\June2022 and took his advice of Panorama, BC, Canada Jan 2023. The service from Michael and the team at Frontier cannot be faulted at all, its 5 Stars from fist contact to getting home.. Michael suggested which Condo’s (suit our needs) to use as he had been there. We had a 3 room apartment at Peaks (max 8 People) and a 2 bed apartment which catered for us perfectly, both immaculate on arrival, one bed config wasnt correct on arrival this was dealt with swiftly by the resort. We had Millionaires skiing (empty Pistes) for the whole 10 days. We even booked one days Heli Skiing, what an experience not to be missed. The supermarket in Invermere was very good, with a good selection of produce should you want to cook every night, we only did a full English breakfast every morning and ate out at night. The whole party agreed that it is was great value for Money. Michael and Team many thanks again Alec P, Will P, Nic P, Mark C, Will F-K, Scoops and Andrew.

Fantastic experience: I have used frontier many times and this years holiday to big white was well planned and organised and we loved the accommodation they suggested for us for our special trip this year. Michael is always quick to get what we need priced up and it’s always so seemless, with everything sorted so that we don’t need to worry about anything. Big white itself was very pretty and a lovely friendly resort blessed with lots of powder. Would recommend Frontier and have done many times! We love ski in/out and this accommodation was right next to the lift and ski hill. Couldn’t have been closer!

Fantastic experience: I found this travel agents after some research and what a gem, my wife and I have always wanted to see the Polar Bears live but arranging the travel to Churchill in Canada was a nightmare. With the help of Frontier Travel we made a custom-built itinerary just right for us whilst also being covered by ABTA and ATOL. The first-hand knowledge and suggestions made to us was superb enabling us to have a holiday of a lifetime, and yes we saw Bears, lots of them.

Fantastic experience: We just got back from our second trip arranged by Frontier, and enjoyed it as much as the first. Both trips were very different, the first was a mixture of flights, a train journey and driving a hire car, staying with friends and in hotels arranged by Frontier, the most recent was just flights and RV rental. Everything they have arranged has been of excellent quality, and communication has been great, especially on the most recent trip which was originally booked for 2020 and had to be postponed twice due to Canadian travel restrictions. Frontier kept in touch and made all the necessary arrangements to rearrange everything, even when WestJet cancelled our direct flights just a few weeks before we were due to travel.

Fantastic experience: We used Frontier Travel to help us plan a holiday to Canada in 2019. Everything was done perfectly and the trip we had was one of the best holidays we've had. We were so impressed that we decided to use them again for a Ski holiday for early 2021. Since first booking this back in January 2020, Jeremy has been extremely helpful and is quick to reply to any queries or requests we had. Unfortunately due to current restrictions this holiday was cancelled. We were offered the choice of rearranging or cancelling to receive our deposit back. As we were unsure of what will be happening we asked for a refund and received it within hours without any problems at all. I wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend Frontier Travel. They offer first class customer service and are very reliable. When we get to travel again we will be using them to book our holidays in future.

Fantastic experience: We were really impressed by the quality of the holidays offered and the ability to design a bespoke itinerary. Communication from all at Frontier Travel has been excellent. Sadly due to COVID we were unable to complete our holiday planned for March 2020. Even though we were given the opportunity to defer to 2021 the virus had other ideas. We were offered a choice of deferring again to 2022 or having a refund. We decided to go for the latter and the refund was received very quickly. We were so sorry not to be able to go on our amazing holiday, but are very impressed with Frontier Travel and very much hope to be able to book again with them when the circumstances allow.

Fantastic experience: This was our first time using Frontier Ski. We'd attempted to book via Crystal but for whatever reason they couldn't get flights. I contacted Michael at Frontier and within 4 hours he had come back to me with a full itinerary of flights, accommodation, transfers and lift passes all for our chosen dates. The whole process was so easy. Approx 2 weeks before departure we were provided with a comprehensive travel wallet full with all flight details, luggage tags, meal details etc etc. Frontier Ski were totally reliable and informative throughout and we would not hesitate to use them again and already planning next years trip!

Fantastic experience: Another great holiday at Sun Peaks organised by Frontier Ski. Services included domestic flights from Newcastle, nominated seats on Air Canada Flights, and ski tickets, which had been delivered and were waiting for us at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel where we stayed. We are loyal customers at Frontier Ski, and know that they are always focused on very independent ski packages organised with our dates and requirements. We would recommend them to any travellers to Canada and the US. This year, we had to miss one of the ski lift pass days we had paid for, due to unforeseen circumstances, and on our return to the UK, Jeremy, the Managing Director of Frontier, arranged a refund within 2 days of our return. No quibble, just honest and ethical business. A highlight of our visit this year was catching the tour bus down to Kamloops to see a fast and furious ice hockey match, between Kamloops Blazers and Vancouver Giants. A great family experience which was great to see live. Lastly, Canada organised perfect snow. Just go !

Had a terrific two weeks in Panorama, BC, Canada, in January 2020, based on a very keenly priced package Frontier Ski put together. Have already made a provisional booking with them for next season, based on excellent advice and a flexible approach that you just wouldn't find with most other operators in this area. Fantastic experience: Our holiday across Western Canada was organised by Jeanette of Frontier Travel expertly and to budget. Appropriate hotels were booked with specific outlooks from Calgary through Banff, Lake Louise to Vancouver. The hire car we used from Avis was roomy and comfortable for our journey. The crowning achievement was travelling on the Gold Leaf service of the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper to Vancouver, an unforgettably scenic trip. Frontier's administration was clear and timely. We'd certainly use them again.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a fabulous 2 road week trip from Calgary to Vancouver. The itinerary was great and completely clear and stress free at every step. Frontier Travel (Joanne) clearly have great knowledge of Canada and were able to make excellent suggestions to meet our diverse requirements being a family of 5 with a 10 year gap in children's ages. The cost seemed broadly comparable to if I had booked it myself but I would not have had the knowledge to have created such a great and memorable holiday (and it would have taken me hours of research that I don't have the time to do). Both before and during the holiday Joanne was available to deal with any queries. Booking with this company made my holiday completely stress free and, most importantly, one of the best holidays that I have had.

Fantastic experience: Jeanette organised our fly drive Holiday to Canada. We had 3 magnificent weeks driving around the East coast stopping at 11 different places along our route. Apart from 1 hotel, everything went perfectly. From car hire to routes between stopovers to the quality of accommodation, all was excellent. Jeanette was our point of contact and dealt with all our questions in a very professional manner. When we queried the 1 hotel we had a problem with, we contacted her and within hours we had been moved into a superb replacement hotel. An excellent holiday with very little strain and a lot of pleasure and enjoyment mainly due to the time and effort Jeanette put into organising our agenda. I would highly recommend Jeanette as an organiser and if everybody else who works for this organisation is as competent as her then you could not go wrong in booking your holiday through them.

Fantastic experience: Jeanette from Frontier Canada helped us to plan and execute our 16-day holiday in Ontario and Quebec. In spite of the short notice we gave her, our complete lack of knowledge yet our wishes to visit a few specific place on the way and the last minute changes we wanted to implement, the whole process of planning and booking was pleasant and stress free. In my opinion the individualised package was also reasonably priced. Everything was pre-booked for us - flights, car rental, attractions and hotels. We also got good guidance related to the visa process. We got a very tidy pack of documents which included a detailed itinerary, suggestions, practical information, all the necessary vouchers, a list of emergency numbers and even a map. All we had to do is complete the Visa process according (very simple), check-in electronically to the flights, pack and go. Everything worked smoothly and we had a great trip. We intend to travel to Canada again, to a different region, and will definitely use Frontier Canada again.

Fantastic experience: I have just had the most wonderful time traveling across Canada from Toronto to Vancouver. It was on my Bucket List and it certainly did not disappoint. The package included a sleeper train across to Jasper, staying in one of the Fairmont hotels, which was perfect. Coach tours to explore Jasper National Park, saw so much wildlife including a grizzly bear with her cubs! Banff National Park was amazing, stayed in another Fairmont hotel which was luxurious. Experienced a walk on a glacier and the New skywalk. Not to be missed the gondola ride, taking in the magnificent scenery. I recommend watching the video up there, reliving the trip l found stunning. The Rocky Mountaineer was the most wonderful experience I’ve ever had. Really luxurious and the hospitality over the two days from Banff to Vancouver was overwhelming. So much food and drink, a serious regime of exercise and dieting is required when I get home. The staff were brilliant, tending to our every needs and so much fun. On this trip I made new friends and lots of happy memories to share with my family and friends. Thank you so much for making it a holiday of a lifetime. I can highly recommend Frontier Canada . Fantastic experience: We have returned this week from skiing at Panaram Springs, Canada. This was our second visit, the first vacation having been booked as a result of the excellent advice and service provided by Frontier Travel , we had previously not skied outside Europe, so had sort there profesionale advice resulting in a memorable holiday for the entire family at the above destination. When booking our second vacation, we did not hesitate to book via Fontier Travel, on this occasion our booking was taken by Michael and although we where now experienced in what our requirements where, the same level of detail and professionalism where applied to our booking. However, the true ethos of a company can not truly be understood until something goes wrong, our booking was made early 2020, traveling at the end of that year, the Pandemic hit March 2020 and the resulting caous to travel industry was felt around the world. Throughout this period Michael ceaselessly worked to keep us updated with all the latest information, also providing us with all the possible options we might wish to explore with regard to our booking. With no international travel allowed at the end of 2019, we rescheduled for December 2021 and kept our fingers crossed, however, as this date neared, Michael advised that although international travel was now viable, Canada was still operating a strict social distance policy and that we may wish to consider how this would impact our holiday, once again we reluctantly postponed until December 2022 with Michael's full cooperation and understanding. As the end of 2022 approached it looked likely that we would at last get away, however, train strikes, boarder control strikes all threatened to cast a shadow, but with Michael's constant updates all wher negotiated without further concern. Over this extended period I had occasion to contact Frontier Travel on numerous occasions, not at any stage over this very difficult time was I made to feel that my enquiry was not important or of concern by the recipient of my enquiry and Michael never failed to get back to me quickly with a appropriate response. If you are thinking of traveling to the United States or Canada for a sking vocation and are wishing to use the service of a professional travel agent, it is my personal opinion that you would be unable to find better than Frontier Travel Ltd. Panoram Springs in Canada is a stunning location if you are looking for unspoilt ski terrain offering challenge for all levels of skier with little if any queuing for lifts, we skied over the New Year period and the longest wait was 6 minutes, exceptionally good instruction with great beginners facilities is at hand and you can literally ski out of your Condo onto the lifts, all this is complimented with some nice restaurants and bars but if a full on night life is part of your agenda I am sure Frontier Travel would be happy to recommend a equaly stunning location

Fantastic experience: Frontier Travel organised a very good itinerary to ski Whistler at the end of January. Dealing with them was a real pleasure - efficient and simple communications with very good suggestions. WE GOT EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR. Whistler is a great ski location, and the accommodation at Blackomb Springs worked perfectly. Not only ski in ski out but a great breakfast and a bus that stopped outside the hotel. The double room was a good size and the cooking facilities were more than adequate. Flight and connections were all very easy via Vancouver with a good connecting bus that departed only 20 mins after clearing customs. I am happy to recommend Frontier Travel for all your ski holidays to Canada. We had a great holiday.

Fantastic experience: After comparing this with a couple of other companies that went to Banff and used the Banff Springs Hotel, I opted for this company as they had the most competitive prices and responded promptly to my email queries. Everything went very smoothly. I was given full instructions on transfers from and to the airport, about ski hire etc. Fabulous holiday and stress free. Highly recommended.

The fact that you can phone up and speak directly with someone who knows exactly what the score is with regard to whatever destination you are considering is a massive bonus. Expensive? No not at all they are very competitive. Give them a try you will not be disappointed.

They are very knowledgeable about the resorts and have been very willing and able to tailor the holidays to suit our needs. We were travelling with two kids (11/9) and had never travelled long haul with them before. Joanne was exceptionally helpful at every stage, helping us to plan just the right itinerary for us. Fantastic experience: Our family of 8 have recently returned from a week in Banff organised by Frontier travel. I highly recommend them as the organisation of the trip was faultless and the advice given to me from my adviser Michael, re. the right accommodation for us was exactly right. We stayed at the Moose suites right in the middle of town , perfect location for the ski shuttle bus to collect us and drop us off and also central so really easy access to bars and restaurants. Frontier organised the flights , transfers from Calgary to Banff accommodation and ski passes. We would definitely use the company again.
