Fantastic experience: I did Orvieto-Roma with my dog Ariel and we both had an amazing time. The organisation was impeccable, the accommodation was good and the app fantastic: even for somebody like me who gets lost all the time!

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed our trip to Cappadocia, what a stunning place to visit. Our UTracks itinerary was great, we had a local contact in case we needed anything (we didn't) and we had a brilliant time, thanks UTracks!

Positive experience: The guide, Debra, was spectacular. She was very knowledgeable, very vigilant, and very humorous and friendly. I would go on another tour, wherever, if she were the guide. My only complaint is that there was a lack of choice and diversity when it came to dining. It seemed like we didn't have many choices of entrees for dishes when we were dining in the restaurants selected for this trip. The dishes were well prepared, but I would have chosen other selections had I been given the option.

Fantastic experience: Very well organised, any questions quickly answered prior to our adventure, some restaurants let down the overall experience which we have fed back to utracks. Also times for leaving bags got earlier as you got closer to conclusion which was a little annoying but didn’t spoil our overall experience, would definitely recommend Utracks & will be using them again

U Tracks chose us great overnight stops, our bags were efficiently collected and delivered & the navigational aids they provided meant that we couldn t get lost. Fantastic experience: We requested a customized combination of PUGLIA COASTAL WALK and WALKING IN PUGLIA in one trip and that was superbly done by Nicola Croom and Chris Papa! It turned out a very pleasant tour and we would strongly recommend to create one in UTracks. We enjoyed every minute of being in Puglia and every kilometer walking in Puglia. That was unforgettable. Choices of accommodations were exceptional with excellent and unique amenities and great supportive staff. Route Notes and GPX tracks made us very comfortable in finding the right way and seeing the right attractions and natural wonders. Chris Papa's support and advice were invaluable. Overall we were very satisfied with this trip.

Fantastic experience: We used UTracks to walk Sarria to Santiago. Their organisation was seamless. Bags were delivered to each hotel before we arrived and transfers were all on time. Couldn't fault the service.

Fantastic experience: Overall, excellent trip. Weather helped as was excellent so able to walk high passes and enjoy the fantastic views. Accommodation was basic but ok, and even had a few nights in twin rooms. Food overall was good, never went hungry. Plenty of opportunity to stop and take photos, never felt rushed. Fantastic experience: Highlights of Provence by bike! An amazing experience! Very well organised, everything put down to the smallest detail, a back up team ready and available to answer all our questions and provide info and answers all the way from pre-booking until during the trip. Great choice of small, family run hotels in all towns. Very easy to book the trip, all information shared was exact and that made us feel comfortable and safe. It was a trip i did with my best friend and it is a trip we will never forget. We will choose UTracks again! Thank you very much for the wonderful experience we had!

Positive experience: Great scenery and fascinating visits to caves and cooling river swimming all perfect. Towns with picturesque medieval warm-stoned centres, Should advise not to be in Les Eyzies on Saturday, as caves are closed. Not in Sarlat on Thurs night July August if don’t like all-night markets. Hotels Cro-Magnon in Les Eyzies, and Le Lascaux in Montignac marvellous, characterful and made every effort to a comic extent. But joining hotel meat meal minus meat.no good for vegetarians. Bikes and luggage transport hitchless.

Fantastic experience: We booked our Camino Trail with UTracks, expertly supported by our Agent. The Trail was excellent and a lifetime memory, everything went to plan and exceeded our expectations! We opted for electric bikes and upgraded hotel accommodation, and both choices really enhanced the experience. The route itself was beautiful — a perfect mix of rural French charm without ever feeling too remote. We passed through picturesque villages, vineyards, and canal-side scenery that was both peaceful and varied. Each day brought something new to enjoy. The upgraded hotels were superb — comfortable, welcoming, and full of character. The warm hospitality we received at each stop really stood out and made the trip feel special from start to finish. Everything went smoothly and was well-organised, and we’ll definitely be booking another cycling holiday in the future. Fantastic experience: A very enjoyable and interesting trip. The cycling was varied with some fabulous days. Our bags always arrived promptly and the accommodation though varied was generally pretty good.

Fantastic experience: We booked a 6 day walking holiday in Italy in May this year with UTracks. We started in Siena and thoroughly enjoyed our walks along the Via Francigena amongst Tuscany's spectacular scenery. The clear route notes provided by UTracks, together with a back up app, were excellent in their detail and saved us the stress of finding our way. We were lucky too with non-stop sunny weather and no rain. The hotels and B and B's were welcoming and provided excellent accommodation. Hotel breakfasts included a variety of hot and cold food - certainly far more then the expected continental breakfast of a croissant and a cup of coffee! So we would certainly recommend UTracks to organise walking holidays.

Fantastic experience: A truly memorable holiday which enabled us not only to see parts of the wonderful Lazio countryside that we wouldn’t normally see by car, but also to soak up the atmosphere of the various villages and towns where we stayed The organisation of bag transfers, plus the hotels worked seamlessly. Fantastic experience: Utracks did a great job in preparing us for our 6 day / last 100km trek on the Camino Santiago. Information was timely and accurate. Lodging was very good as were the dinners/breakfasts each day.

Fantastic experience: We loved every moment of this classic barge cruise. The crew bent over backwards to make us comfortable, and enabled us to enjoy whichever activity we wanted. They gave good advice as to the difficulty of each. There was no pressure to do anything, although we even tried sailing and canoeing which we hadn’t done before. Food was excellent and watching the amazing scenery from the barge as we sailed along was fantastic! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: We booked a hike along the Magna Via Francigena in Sicily through UTracks. Information provided about each day's walking was comprehensive, up to date and easily accessible. Directions to accommodation were generally good but in some cases not 100% accurate. In those cases we had to rely on signs or trial and error. Baggage transfers were all fine and those wanting a day off could be taken to the next stop with the bags.

Fantastic experience: The walking route was nicely maintained, with the mix of hikes across the island. I literally have seen all the gems of La Gomera! The extra days on the beach after almost a week of hikes was amazing as well. It was my first self-guided walking tour, I was a bit concerned if I’ll be able to complete (not being really super fit), but it went so good - instructions are well written, it was easy to follow and on the route my hiking shoes and walking sticks helps a million. I was able to both work out and to unwind. Thank you UTtacks for all organizational support, good choice of hotels and walking guidance.

Fantastic experience: U-Tracks. Walking in the Dordogne, 8 days. I loved this trip! Everything was just as you described, except the accommodation and food was better! The walking from village to village was a wonderful experience, the very best way to see and appreciate this beautiful and unique area of France . Communication with Walkers Britain and U-Tracks was supportive and helpful when required. Thank you folks for a wonderful experience.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I cycled from Bruges to Amsterdam and it was a fantastic trip. Distances were good, hotels that Utracks booked us into were all varied and beautiful . Breakfasts were all included and perfect. You could easily access the town centres from the hotels. Bikes although very different than we ride at home turned out to be very comfortable. The cycle paths were easy to follow and so scenic. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: What an adventure. Challenging, exciting, just a little bit scary. Do not forget your walking poles! Really enjoyed ourselves. PRO’S- 1 Amazing scenery 2 Varied terrain 3 Really friendly people 4 Good walking instructions 5 GPS tracks were a great back up 6 Great food CONS (not many) 1 Sheepdogs - only one very scary incident when we had to use the dog device, but I was pretty anxious about them a lot of the time 2 One of the guesthouses didn’t have en-suite bathroom facilities. Not the end of the world but would have been better. Altogether a great experience Thank you U Tracks

Positive experience: A fabulous experience and very well organised and very easy to get in touch with the organizers. Beautiful hotel rooms and breakfasts. Great app with directions but the hotels in the app were not correct. Use Google maps once you get into the towns to find your hotel. Make sure your luggage is not a gram over 20kg, as they clearly state in the instructions. The fine is hefty - they only tell you at the end and then slap you with the fine per day! Other than that it was an amazing trip! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Utracks organized a brilliant self guided walking tour for myself and 15 friends through Tuscany- highly recommend these super proficient tour operators.

Positive experience: The accommodation was very acceptable throughout our walking on the Bua Francigena though in hindsight we would have preferred more Agriturismo venues as the two we got to stay in were exceptional. One bug bear: the format and content of the 92 pages of walking notes was just impossible - we had thankfully purchased a Cicerone guide!

Fantastic experience: The Via Degli Dei was a stunning walk. We were blessed with great weather and excellent accommodation and all luggage transported smoothly. Our only comment would be-the first hotel in Sasso Marconi did not have the kitchen working so only food available was a takeaway pizza. And the hotel bar and communal areas all shut up at 7.30 so we were confined to our rooms! otherwise a memorable trip.

Fantastic experience: Excellent trip, perfect organisation with our luggage moving ahead of us to comfortable hotels, some with swimming pools, and delicious food. The walks were fantastic and we enjoyed the option of long/shorter on each day. The written descriptions were good and interesting but the Roadbook app completely wonderful! So easy to follow and a polite voice from my pocket pointed out every time we deviated from the route!

Fantastic experience: UTrack did an excellent job with our 8 day hiking trip in Tuscany. The places we stayed were excellent; no issues with transporting our bags; and the daily hiking guides were very detailed and extremely helpful.

Negative experience: I have had no success in leaving a company review for Utracks, Europe, but this is it. Utracks (Europe) do not publish all reviews so I would treat their published star rating for any hike etc with caution. We reviewed our August 2024 hike as a genuine 3 star experience and did not break any review rules yet it wasn't published. The company did not contact us either. Disappointing

Fantastic experience: In September 2024 I've made a great trip with UTracks - 7 days Gran Paradiso Adventure. That was a fantastic, vibrant and unforgettable journey. Rushing rivers, sparkling waterfalls, snowy peaks and blue skies. The Gran Paradiso region is rich in forests, the slopes were strewn with blueberries and raspberries. There were both flat, easy areas, as well as steep piles of stones, so the difficulty level 4/5 - is very realistic. Nice authentic accommodation places, always great lunches and dinners. Just breakfast could be more rich. And we were lucky with our great guide Matthieu - always friendly, helpful, joking and sharing good mood with everyone.

Fantastic experience: This was our first bike trip and we will definitely plan another self-guided bike trip with UTracks. Normandy was a great combination of very moving historical sites and beautiful landscapes and seascapes. Electric bikes gave us time to stop along the route to visit museums. The small hotels were lovely and the local guide (Patrick) that got us set up and retrieved the bikes at the end was very welcoming, helpful, and encouraging! We would highly recommend this trip!

Fantastic experience: In general the 12 day trip was absolutely FABULOUS. However, given our ages (mid seventies), I would have preferred some of the long walks to be spread over two days. With only one exception the evening meal was a gastronomic delight in each of the hotels. (The over-cooked chicken thigh & chips was just "fast food"). The Malle Postal delivered our luggage to the hotel every day without fail. One day, after a really tough day's walk, we "cheated" and used the shuttle service to reach that day's destination, for a very moderate fee. My buddy and I more or less decided to do the walk at the very last minute. The team at UTRACKS did an excellent job in finding accommodation etc for our walk at very short notice. The information sheets provided were full of useful information. In brief, BRAVO to the UTracks team. Malcolm.

Positive experience: We had a lovely week in Puglia; we enjoyed the walking and the combination of using public transport and taxis for the long distance transfers. The places we visited were beautiful and so interesting. The accommodation was mixed and perhaps options could be given for different gradings of accommodation. The gpx files provided and the walk details were fantastic and the staff were so helpful at all stages. Negatives would be the pre-arranged activities such as the wine tour and the 2 dinners which we did not enjoy. They did not add to the experience.

Fantastic experience: Good organisation. The guide, Elie, translated everything in English for me as I was the only non-French in the group. He also prepared delicious meals everyday. Walking pace was good for all the group. Night stays had everything essential and the dinner and breakfasts were also good. Overall, a truly "rustique" adventure in the Swiss Alps, in contact with nature and the mountain.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience on the Mont Blanc Rambler tour. Our guide, Bruno, met us at the Chamomix train station as planned. (It might have been helpful to have a sign to help people find the right group to ease any stress.) The accommodations at the “gites” or “refuges” were better than expected. We had paid the up charge for private rooms, which we had all the nights except one (shared a room with bunk beds with the rest of the group). The meals were varied and regional based on where we stayed. For example, one might in Switzerland we had fondue, and one night in France we had raclette, a popular French dish also with cheese. We would consider going on a hiking trip with this company again.

Fantastic experience: I recently finished 10days circuit of Mont Blanc.I had best time of my life. We had fantastic company of the best guide Julien and the mule. I loved the challenge of each day and I would highly recommend doing 10 days. Accomodations were best and as a solo traveler I did not have any issues sharing dormitory. It was comfortable with best views. This was my birthday gift from my husband and the best so far. All members of Utracks were highly supportive and prompt at answering any questions by both emails and on calls. I did not have any trouble from very first payment for booking to the entire journey and back home safe and sound. Our group became the besties now and we may plan more trip together. I just want to say thank you to Utracks for making the entire experience very special and memorable.

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed the Monte Rosa Trek with Phillippe as our tour guide, who was super knowledgeable. Amazing scenery every day. Quite tough walking but good food. Refuges OK.

Positive experience: A memorable holiday, well-planned routes for our walks, through amazing landscapes. The hotels were on the whole excellent - quirky and comfortable with very good food, and transfer of our luggage worked perfectly. One quibble (which is why I didn't give five stars) - the walking instructions need to be updated!! Without GPS we would have struggled!

Fantastic experience: Our Austrian Lakes trip through U Tracks was amazing. The directions were complicated, but we figured everything out. Our accommodations were first class, as were our meals. Austria has to be the cleanest, and certainly one of the most beautiful, places ever. Highly recommend UTracks and this trip.

Fantastic experience: Very nice trip. Nice routes, good accomodation, nice scenery. One thing, maybe it is good to give some more options for wet weather, it was sometimes difficult and very wet when you are walking over the moors.

Fantastic experience: Slovenia is a hidden treasure adjacent to Italy & Austria. The Julian Alps are hikers paradise. Lake Bled is a magical place with a castle, an island church, and a cream cake to die for. White water rafting on the Soca river was a blast. Our only regret was we only visited this lush country for one week.

Fantastic experience: Wir waren im Juni auf der Rota Vicentina unterwegs, und die Alentejo-Kueste hat uns voellig verzaubert. Dass es eine so wilde Kueste in Europa überhaupt noch gibt, grenzt an ein Wunder. Unterkuenfte und Streckenfuehrung waren super und wohl bedacht. Fuer die GPS-Navigation ist allerdings ein wirklich potentes Handy noetig. Vor allem die Pensão das Dunas in Carrapateira/Bodeira mit ihrem Boho-Charme hat es uns angetan. Unser unerwartet auftauchendes Problem, dass wir ueberraschend jeweils ein zweites Zimmer brauchten, konnten wir auf eigene Faust loesen. Dass wir dies auch mussten, weil Utracks auf Anfrage die Schultern zuckte, bleibt fuer uns das einzige Manko dieses herrlichen Trips.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. The trip could be planned better in terms of dividing the daily biking better. Besides the accommodations were very nice. The luggage always arrived on time. Great time. Online reviews help other travellers choose the right trip and are such a vital feature of the travel industry. We really do appreciate it!

Positive experience: With the exception of day one, this is a relatively easy walk, reasonable distances, some small inclines and with some rocky, uneven terrain, particularly on day one. For older folk, with less than perfect knees, poles and knee strapping recommended. Pole users be aware that the rocky terrain has holes about the size of hiking pole points with the chance of poles getting stuck. There's little water on some of the walks so carry sufficient. Accomodation and local hospitality very good. Online maps with waypoints and decent GPS highly recommended. Mid summer could make this walk demanding.

Fantastic experience: All aspects of our Rhine hiking trip were smooth from start to finish from the pre-trip communication to the route information. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and varied, and the hike was well-marked and very scenic. We thoroughly enjoyed the hike and all the sights along the way.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant from booking to walking. The office staff were amazingly helpful and answered all my questions speedily. The Camino from Sarria to Santiago was so well organised I felt relaxed and confident all was well. Sylvia or guide was (and is amazing). Great time keeping, informative and encouraging. Great advice about socks and walking shoes that would have been great to know before the walk. Sylvia’s first aid kit was great too and only used once (not by me). There were a lot of hills but the views made it worth going up. Hotel/Pensions were great and eateries too. You will not loose weight on this walk haha. I recommend using Utrack and hope to again very soon.

Positive experience: We've done 3 self-guided walking holidays in Italy organised by Utracks and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Their website has plenty of choice and information to help you pick your route, and the booking and confirmation process is well handled. Trip information makes it easy to find your way and the scenery is lovely, sometimes spectacular. The accommodations vary in style from smart hotel to farmhouse B&B, but this only adds to the interest. We had to call the office once en route because our flight out was delayed, but they changed the taxi pick-up time for us and informed our hotel of late arrival, so it was easily taken care of. Everything else has gone smoothly (apart from Ryanair destroying my suitcase). Definitely recommended.

Fantastic experience: The Best of the Portuguese Way ... We felt this was an outstanding experience; our guide Maria was incredibly knowledgeable (customs, local history, architecture, food …) with an infectious enthusiasm for her part of the world. The experience was enriched by our fellow travellers. The itinerary felt well-paced, walking in the morning and visiting / guided tours of quaint towns in the afternoon. Fantastic experience: My solo, self-guided walking trip along the first part of the Camino Francés in Spain, arranged by UTracks, went very smoothly. No problems at all, and highly enjoyable. Good hotels and convenient luggage transport. Already looking forward to the next section :-)

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Previously traveled in Cornwall and Ireland with UTracks. All trips were great, but the local administration and management of the Dordogne, France excursion was really good. For future travelers, i would recommend an extra day in Domme (do the grottes de domme and eat at Auberge de la Rode). I don't recommend doing the loop around sarlat. Maybe the first half and then turn around.

Fantastic experience: A little visited but beautiful area of Spain to walk. You’ll see cork trees, holmes oaks, Iberican pigs and vultures, and perhaps even an eagle. A few cafes on the way to get refreshments. The walks are not strenuous.

Fantastic experience: If I could describe the dream vacation- this would be it. Hiking all day in amazing scenery, then enjoying scrumptious food and the best wine at night.... I am already looking up our next adventure...

Positive experience: The countryside of rolling hills on the Camino Trail was interesting although not as spectacular as many of the other treks i have done in Europe and elsewhere. But the towns we passed through were generally more interesting, and i thought our guide was absolutely outstanding while the support from the bus driver was excellent. Our guide Hector was a fount of information about the cultural monuments and towns that we visited, and his enthusiasm inspired us all.

Fantastic experience: The Blue Danube cycle path is the most beautiful I could ever imagine. The paved path is an easy ride, almost all along the river. When it veers away, it is through quaint towns/villages, country farms, orchards & vineyards or trees areas. The accommodations and meals are great. Luggage delivery is seamless. I highly recommend this tour with U-Tracks!

Fantastic experience: A superb trip in staggeringly beautiful scenery with a great fun like minded group of people and an outstanding guide in Fred.We were fortunate with the weather,but every day was different and the level of difficulty with the walking just right.The refuges were all unique in their own way,but all comfortable and all serving a good hearty portion of food to fuel us for the next stage.All this led at the end to a great feeling of satisfaction of a great hike well done.

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic time throughout - the trail is stunningly beautiful! Sara was a great guide. The accommodation and food was also provided to a high standard - the fondue and raclette dinners were definitely a highlight! In terms of service from UTracks, I was particularly impressed with how they handled our Courmayeur - Chamonix transfer. The tunnel closure and it's implications were anticipated well in advance, and we were notified and offered an alternative (privately organised transfer). Fantastic experience: Our group of 16, 5 couples and 6 individuals, were fortunate in having a great combination of guide and driver in Jorge and Miro, both ensured we were well informed and cared for. Jorge in particular had a significant positive impact on our experience which overall exceeded our expectations on our first walking holiday. We are already looking forward to another trip next year.

Fantastic experience: We had a brilliant holiday. We had never heard of UTracks before, but would really recommend them. At every stage, from booking, to communication and information and then accommodation and transport, everything was well organised and high quality. Walking notes were detailed and accurate, the app was really useful, the places we stayed were beautiful, our rooms were comfortable and attractive and breakfasts were good, especially at the family-owned agri-tourism business in Vergne. Our only concern was that some of the walking days were quite long and didn't offer much shade, and temperatures, even in September, were in the low 30s by midday. Surprisingly, the accommodations' earliest breakfast start was 8.00am. It would have really helped if this had been 7.00am or earlier so that we could have made earlier starts on the walks. Offers of packed lunches, or a little more detail on places to eat en route might also have been helpful.

Fantastic experience: We did Dolomites trek this year, having done TMB last year. The organisation of trek was faultless, guide was very engaging & informative. The group we had was very energetic & fun. One of the best treks I've done till now. Thinking what next

Fantastic experience: Absolutely top Mont Blanc Rambler hiking experience! It was my first multi-day hike. I have been dreaming to do Mont Blanc tour for a while. The scenery was so overwhelming that I felt myself in the movie "Lord of the Rings". I must admit that some days were really hard but I guess I just had to work better on my condition. Elodie was a very professional and knowledgeable guide. I loved her picnic spots which she chose for our lunch. She took a great care of our beautiful mule Percy (he was a real star of this adventure!). She made delicious salads for us as well. Some mountain huts were very nice with great food, others were quite basic. I enjoyed company of my fellow hikers from Australia as well. In general I am very happy that I've done this amazing adventure around gorgeous Mont Blanc. Thank you very much Utracks and Merci beaucoup Elodie!

Fantastic experience: This trip was amazing. Everything was just perfect, we had people from all over the world and we all got on very well, lots of laughs everyday. Our guide, Fred was great. He will stop to explain things along the way, flowers, mountains or anything he found it could be interested, he really engaged with us and made the group stick together, we had breakfast, lunch an dinner together as a group and of course a few beers at the end of the day. The hike it self was challenging with some long days but totally worth it. The food was great too, lunches were excellent and plenty of food to have more if you were left hungry. The accommodation was fine, most of the day we will have a room for half of the group or for the whole group. We were very lucky with the weather, it only rained onces over night, we had 25C and sunny every day, it was great!

Fantastic experience: The route from Cologne to Mainz is good and most ly on cycle paths with some sections on roads. The scenery after the first day, which was through an industrial area, ranged from good to spectacular. The Olympia was fantastic, both boat and staff. This was our first boat and barge trip and I don’t think it will be our last. We are already looking at our options for next year, can’t wait. I really can’t recommend the trip highly enough, it was just perfect.

Fantastic experience: The route we cycled was magnificent, such beautiful villages. Excellent guiding books provided and I recommend you download the GPX files before you arrive on your holiday to your phone and have a battery back-up. Very helpful at certain times especially navigating cities! Some super hotels in great locations, just one felt a little uninspiring. We all had electric bikes which were in great condition, very good luggage bags as well. The bicycles worked very well even with no electric assistance on gentle hills despite the added weight of the bike and day luggage (water...). The Alsace area is so picturesque, we hadn't been there before.

Fantastic experience: Great trip. Peter & Stefano helped us and were always on hand with any questions we had. The food was superb (especially at Anderbatt) and the views out of this world. We felt like we were in dreamland in parts.

Fantastic experience: Our Walking in the Dolomites trip was fantastic. This is probably one of the most beautiful places on earth! The arrangements were great. There were relatively easy treks and relatively difficult treks, something for everyone.

Fantastic experience: This trip was even better than advertised. Piero, our guide, was excellent: very knowledgeable of the Camino, every town, hotel, and restaurant along the way. A bon vivant in his own right. The route selections were well suited for our mixed-age tour group. Hotel and restaurant selections were outstanding. This was clearly one of our best holidays.
