Fantastic experience: I booked a taxi for 1pm the driver named Tony arrived early and reassured me that he was not in a rush as another taxi company I booked before rushed me and then decided to leave 1 minute after I booked which left me annoyed, however tony made sure he was not going anywhere and to take my time. He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I didn't feel rushed and he was in a very good mood. I will definitely recommend cab direct and tony. Brilliant service!

Fantastic experience: First let's start with the operator the one that answers all the calls, absolutely brilliant, always polite on the phone and sends out the cab straight away or for time needed. Drivers, the drivers have all been very polite and got us from a to b safely and happily, usually wait about 5-10 minutes for taxi to arrive at pick up destination. Thank you so much for the pleasant journeys and always being polite on the end of the phone. Will definitely be using this cab company in future whenever I am in Canterbury. Negative experience: I wanted a cab from Gatwick to Canterbury to save time but the office took down the wrong arrival day and I ended up waiting an hour for a replacement in which time I could have got the train for much cheaper. They don't send you a confirmation text when you book, which would have avoided a lot of hassle as I would have spotted the mistake. They also said the replacement would be 25 to 30 minutes and it ended up being an hour. Would have been better if they were honest as I would have taken the train into London and then to Canterbury in the same time but cheaper. The sound quality of their phone is also terrible, and I could hardly hear the operator when I was trying to fix the problem. The driver was fine otherwise I would have given a 1 score. If you use this service insist on a confirmation text.

Used it today from Gatwick to Chartham.After a little hickup with our flight being delayed because poor visibility, and misscomunication and understanding between all of us our driver was nevertheless polite and professional.First time using this company too as our usual driver retired, so to find a company that is reliable and trustworthy is a bonus .I don't know the name of our driver but please thank him again .Also the person i spoke to yesterday when booking was very professional again there was a problem with the connection cutting off ( i was calling from Italy not England maybe that was the problem ), they called me back nevertheless , promptly and efficiently and took the bpoking and explained clearly the procedures . Negative experience: Called for a cab and was told it would be 5 minutes, 20 minutes later the cab arrived, unfortunately when it was about 50 yards from me the driver got flagged down by someone else this person got into the cab and off the cab went leaving me stranded (I am sure the taxis aren't available to be hailed on the street!?). I phoned the depot and asked what was going on, the lady apologised and said it would be 2 minutes for another cab, 20 minutes later the next cab arrived. This was on a Sunday morning so they were charging time and a half. I might have expected a little bit off the fare as a goodwill gesture but nothing was offered. Very disappointed with the service.
