Fantastic experience: Went in late on a Friday to book a holiday to Egypt. Preferred in-store booking rather than online. Had a short wait (no problem with that) so we went for a coffee. The store sent a text to say they were ready for us. Met and assisted by Sophie G, a very personable, knowledgable and friendly staff member. Sophie took our thoughts and gave us several options to explore, with no rushing (it was about 7pm at this stage). Holiday was all booked and sorted in no time. Great customer experience

Fantastic experience: We called into the store over Christmas and had a quick chat with a lovely lady called Niamh, she discussed two resorts we wanted to visit in either Dominican Republic or Mexico, Niamh then emailed me with some recommendations. Niamh kept in contact with me and after shortlisting a few hotels we made an appointment with Niamh, happy to say we booked, Niamh was great and had a great knowledge of the resort. Would totally recommend Niamh at TUI. Thanks Niamh for helping us with our holiday .

Fantastic experience: We've been into the Teesside Park store on two occasions and booked holidays with Angela P. She always greets us with a lovely welcome, offers us refreshments and after some searching finds us a great holiday. Angela P is one of if not the best TUI staff member we have ever come across and she always has time for us and you never feel rushed. My son and I agree that we would never use anyone other than ANGELA P when booking future holidays.

Fantastic experience: Ellie was terrific and found us our perfect holiday in no time at all. Great service with personality and a smile. We keep using this particular shop because we prefer to book in store rather than online. Never bought a bad holiday this way. TUI are so much better than the competition in my view.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience today in the Tui Teesside Store with Claire who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when finding our perfect cruise holiday. We ended up booking the Iconic Islands Cruise for July 2025 with a 3 night Corfu stay. Fantastic experience: Popped in to enquire about a winter break. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and offered drinks whilst we waited to see an advisor. We spoke to Nicole who took us through various destinations that met our requirements and then hotel options once we selected the destination. We planned to fly from Newcastle but she found us a much better deal flying from Manchester we saved us on the cost of the holiday. Would definitely recommend visiting them if your are booking a holiday.

Fantastic experience: Came into the branch just looking to maybe book our wedding in Jamaica met Rachel on the 28th of December. We ended up coming back a few weeks later and booking all our wedding pack and holiday package through herself to then remember she actually booked our first trip to Jamaica in 2019 can’t recommend her enough she goes above and beyond absolutely amazing at what she does. I can’t give her enough praise great communication skills customer service skills fabulous in every meaning of the word thank you so so much Rachel. Also massive thank you to all the over ladies in the branch made us feel welcome and very helpful while we were waiting for Rachel. Thank you all so much ❤️

Fantastic experience: Visited Tui Teeside Park to book our family holiday(cruise) on 25 Jan. All of the staff including the manger mel were welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Rhiannon was our holiday advisor. She was amazing! very patient and helped us get an amazing deal. We usually book online, but I have to say booking in store was a pleasant experience. We left having booked a fab holiday at a great price. Would highly recommend. Thank you to all the staff.

Negative experience: UPDATE: I received a call today from HAYLEY (assistant manager at this store) to inform me that “they can’t do anymore for me and wishing me well in the future” ! So, TUI have now washed their hands of the whole complaint that was raised in October. After raising a Subject Access Request with them (and having to battle for my rights to this), I received the absolute minimum information from them. I also raised a Subject Access Request with Gold Medal and (unfortunately for TUI and Hayley) I received quite a lot of information from them (emails AND call recordings) which proves just how little Hayley has actually done (but she insists at every opportunity that she’s done absolutely everything she can for me!) Neither Hayley or TUI has ever acknowledged a customer complaint but instead pass any blame onto third parties. It’s only from the information from Gold Medal that I find out there is also fourth and fifth parties involved in my booking!! This was NEVER disclosed at any point by TUI. WHY ARE CUSTOMERS NOT MADE AWARE?? It’s very apparent that TUI are more than happy to take your money (customers are just a cash machine to them) but god forbid things go wrong and you find out the hard way that THEY DO NOT CARE and will drop you quicker than a hot potato. They pass the buck and gaslight you at every turn. I also have my own call recordings and witnesses to these calls so they can deny any part of this review all they/Hayley want to but I am more than happy to make these AND ALL of the information I have received from the SARs PUBLIC for future suckers who go to them when looking for a holiday. **BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK BUT DON’T EXPECT ANY HELP WHEN THINGS GO WRONG AND DON’T HOLD YOUR BREATH THAT YOU WILL ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR ** Still waiting for acknowledgment from TUI Teesside Park management to answer my email and clarify that TUI have raised their own investigation into the complaint I raised beginning of October!! Seems to me that the only thing that is happening is that they are saying Gold Medal are dealing with it (ANOTHER COMPANY TO AVOID ). Why are TUI not dealing with a customer complaint? (management stated that they are but refuse to acknowledge or even reply to my emails clarifying this!). So for the benefit of doubt, ARE TUI TEESSIDE PARK DEALING WITH THIS AS A TUI CUSTOMER COMPLAINT? OR IS GOLD MEDAL JUST DEALING WITH IT. If TUI ARE NOT dealing with this as a TUI customer complaint then please EXPLAIN WHY NOT ….

Fantastic experience: Fabulous experience with Sophie G who helped arrange our holiday and went above and beyond contacting a third party too. In the past I’ve found travel agents often don’t follow up but Sophie has been an exception always making the effort to ring and check in on us. Would 100% recommend .

She helped me look through destinations and many hotel choices until we were happy with the hotel for my little boys first holiday… Sophie and her manager were also great with my little boys (4 months old) and helped hugely when I realised I’d left the house without the water for his bottles! There was no rush whilst their with Sophie, she took her time, made conversation and made me feel at easy with no pressure to choose! Would definitely go back to TUI and absolutely Sophie!

Fantastic experience: Visited the store in search of a cruise and Claire took the time with us to ensure that we ended up booking the perfect holiday. She tried different options and had lots of firsthand experience she could draw on to make sure that we left with the exactly what we wanted! She kept us in the loop after leaving the store too, and has sorted our airport carparking for us. Nothing is too much trouble and she has responded quickly to emails with questions I have had since leaving the store. Will definitely be back to book with you again! Also, was breastfeeding my baby girl while in the store and she offered me a drink of water which was very much appreciated!

Fantastic experience: Today we visited the Teesside Park Tui store to gather information about holidays to Dubrovnik. We were met by Nadia who guided through various options, eventually we decided on our hotel. We were then advised about our travel options. We received excellent support from Nadia and completed our holiday planning.We have used Tui on many occasions in previous years and will continue to do this thanks to your staff like Nadia.

Fantastic experience: Customer Service First Class After booking online and realising I’d made a wrong decision on my destination I called into tui Teesside Park branch for help I spoke with Lyndsey whose patience I tested but nothing was a problem she went above and beyond to help with suggesting other destinations which she thought we’d like, after making a decision I returned to store to book I spoke with Nicole whose advice on hotel etc for our destination was excellent I did hit upon a problem with the seating allocation during the holiday transfer but Lyndsey was on the ball and sorted for us thank you you’re a absolute star I won’t ever think about booking on line again the personal touch is a better option for me.

Fantastic experience: Popped into the TUI on Teesside Retail Park, we weren't sure were we wanted to go for our next Summer hol's in 2025. But Nicole who was the rep really helped us their was nothing to much of a bother for her' she was plesent and really helpful in the end she helped us choose a place that suited us.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful, wonderful experience booking our holiday to Barbados next year. My wife and I are what you might call old timers (very old) and preferred to go face to face to sort out all the details including assisted travel for my wife. In the Teesside Park Tui shop we were assigned to Angela R to deal with our holiday. She was cheerful and so helpful finding our perfect holiday with flights and hotels. She scoured the internet skilfully suggesting ideas that would suit our needs. We will be going back to see Angela before our trip to help with ideas for things to do and book any excursions with Tui. As it is our 55th Wedding Anniversary whilst we are away Angela made a special note for whom it may concern. Lovely touch!
