Negative experience: I have been in the Newbury TUI store for 40 minutes now with not so much as a can I help you or a good afternoon. Two staff helping customers and the other typing on her computer. I knew exactly what I wanted and had the money on me, I think I’m going to book elsewhere. I was seen after 55 minutes no apology of waiting, also didn’t appreciate a customer in there talking about me to his partner and the member of staff about me in a rather demeaning way “that Tesco man”. Decided to go elsewhere

Negative experience: Stood waiting to be at least acknowledged for about 8 mins before 'Joe' walked through and asked if I needed assistance...he took my details and would call the next day...he never did. Rude. Place looks closed from the outside, keep it that way, book your own holiday on the Web!

Fantastic experience: Never will I ever book a holiday online again - Joseph is such a credit to your organisation. Went to town to buy food, ended up booking a holiday … we partly went in as a joke, but didn’t realise that the knowledge of the staff actually paid dividends in us finding a dream holiday. Joseph was not only extremely knowledgeable, friendly, relatable, patient and all round a true gent but provided us with an outcome and holiday better than we wanted beforehand. Cannot recommend them enough, will return to see Joseph and book our next holiday after KOS !!

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much to Joseph for all his hard work, time and effort to help us find the perfect holiday. We had a lot of requirements, limited dates and were booking very last minute but Joseph was so patient with us and really helpful, he came up with so many good suggestions and nothing was too much trouble to make sure it would be the best option. He is really knowledgeable and spent a very long time with us (through his lunch break too!) to make sure we exhausted all the options without ever making us feel rushed. We really appreciate everything thank you.

Fantastic experience: Went into branch today to grab some holiday ideas for a week away for my birthday and I was greeted by Georgia who is the store manager and I must say, I understand why she has been given the title, she is very helpful, professional and has very good listening skills because she picked out great holidays with the criteria that I gave. She popped a few quotes/ideas together for me and I will definitely be back to book one f them once have decided.

Fantastic experience: I go to Tui Newbury a lot when I am looking for a holiday. Whether it is advice, a holiday or add ons that I am after, the staff are always very helpful and happy. Joseph was a great help recently by suggesting the city card to save us money on our holiday and helped us get a good deal. They are constantly giving us the celebrity customer service, I will defiantly be returning in the future. THANK YOU TUI

Fantastic experience: After a dreadful experience with the tui telephone service Chloe at the Newbury branch saved me. She could not have been more helpful and sorted out my Change of flights . In future I will only book with Tui through this branch . It is a completely different level of service . The staff are much more knowledgeable and helpful . When she didn’t have the answer to a question she was honest and went to her colleagues who were also very very helpful . If I had listened to the phone advisor it would have cost me £980 more! Thank you Chloe . You just saved Tui a social media rant !

Negative experience: Magic life Cala Pada Visited there on 10.6.19 for 1 week. I have stayed at Magic Life Fuerteventura twice and loved every minute of it . I heard people talking about Magic Life Cala Pada and booked for June. It's a bit nearer. This hotel is not a patch on it and I would even say 4 Star is stretching it at times The rooms are lovely Most of the staff are lovely (Entertainment and reception) The gardens are beautifully kept. The food not so good,not a patch on Fuerteventura amd the main dining room is chaos. Kids running arround for the whole service. Parents share the blame for that but no-one seems to be in charge, Only 5 tables for adults only. Service runs from 6.30 to 9 maybe younger children should dine earlier and adults and older children from 8pm.It would save the ice cream flying around . Dining there was not enjoyable at all very stressful. Refurbishment of salads and veg not very quick at all. Meat products questionable at times , did not seem very good standard, Sometimes not even marked what it was. The chefs and cooking staff did not seem bothered , the waiting staff lovely . Spills on the floor not cleaned up. The snack bar at the pool was worse. Flies on the food , Disgusting, spills everywhere no control , no cutlery often and no plates and bowls. Staff were surly and basically disinterested when I pointed out the flies on everything. This could explain the Norovirus outbreak while we were there, which was pointed out to us by a note on reception. I think we should have been informed personally. Way below Par for what I expect of Magic Life and Tui and unfortunately for me and my family we had already booked for 8 of us to go in September. Not cheap either over £7000 in September so I hope they have had some lessons from Fuerteventura. The beach bar staff were lovely and their food was great. The bar staff were cheery although not enough of them and if you are putting on entertainment give people enough seats to sit on , who wants to stand for 3 hours in the Wunderbar. I hope it gets better. I really do.

Negative experience: Shocking service today from TUI - as long as they have your money they don’t care. Unable to explain the policy and everything is ‘extra’ Even Ryanair is more transparent than this company. I haven’t even been on my holiday yet and already dreading the customer service. Read the reviews I wish I had before I booked. This will be the first and last time I use TUI.

Fantastic experience: Great experience, lovely service and great holidays

Negative experience: Very rude staff behind the western union counter. She told us a provisional drivers licence wasn't a form of ID so we couldn't use it to send money. When I choose to send the money to my brother who is also my mum's child in my name on behalf of my mum who was visiting from london and only had her provisional licence on her the rude girl behind the counter told me I cant and refused to do the transaction. An attitude like that wont get her anywhere..am surprised she's even got a job! We then went to Sainsbury's at their Western union and the lovely lady that served us there was actually shocked about the rejection of ID. Thank you to the lovely staff at Sainsbury's travel shop my mum got to send the money with her provisional licence. TUI...you need to employ people that knows how to treat customers...her attitude and tone of voice was a disgrace to your company. I book holidays, buy travel insurance from your company atleast twice a year. I would NEVER set foot back in your store again.
