Fantastic experience: Review updated - we experienced a flight change that was going to impact us by 11.5hrs - we were understandably very upset and I have to be honest and say initial response was not what we would have hoped for or expected. After escalating we had a great response from the social media team as well as store senior manager so thank you to lorrenne, Jess and Heather online and Jessica the senior manager - all anyone ever wants is to be treated with respect and understanding which you all did fantastically well for us and you managed to resolve our issues to a positive outcome for all involved - thank you

Fantastic experience: Had problems amending a booking online so went to the Newport TUI Superstore at Spytty. Staff very friendly and helpful especially NIAMH who went out of her way to meet our needs - friendly, courteous and determined to adjust things to exactly what we wanted. Will definitely use the store again.

After our son’s near-death experience in a family car accident, it felt like one thing after another kept coming up, making it hard to plan a getaway. But thanks to Megan and Ceri-Ann, we walked out of there so happy and finally ready for a break. Both of them were so patient, kind, and helpful. A special shout-out to Megan, who told us at the end that ours was her first booking ever—we’d never have guessed, as she did such an amazing job! We couldn’t recommend TUI enough. Fantastic experience: Went into store today with a major concern that I had to deal with and was dreading every minute! Even though I was emotionally drained on entering the store I was made welcome by a lovely lady ( didn’t take name ) She listed with intent and sent me to sit with a very patient and understanding young man called Jake. He listed to my problem with great understanding and professional communication. For this I think he needs a positive comment made from myself ! Fantastic experience: Just got back from an absolutely brilliant Mediterranean cruise with our family of 19. Yep, that's right 19 of us. Wanted to leave a review because Ceri-Ann at Tui Superstore in Newport was fantastic. Ceri-Ann had her work cut out from the start having half of us travelling from Bristol and the other half from Gatwick. She was however, great from start to finish, finding a suitable itinerary that met our budget and was willing to keep searching for it, using her knowledge and experience until we were all happy, which is difficult when 19 of us. Continually supportive to our needs whether cabin upgrades, special mobility requirements, drink packages, plane seats selection and the printing off of boarding passes. All done with a smile, good humour and reassurance. Thank you Tui Newport.

Fantastic experience: Booked our family holiday to Ibiza at TUI with the very lovely Ceri-Ann. Ceri helped us find our perfect holiday, she listened to our requests, was polite, knowledgeable and happy to help us find our perfect holiday! We had an issue checking in online (both depature & return flights) Ceri-ann was very helpful and sorted this out for us very quickly. Fantastic experience: We booked a holiday with Lauren for this year. She was very patient with us catering to our family of 5, having looked at every possible destination and resort. Even though we changed it 3 times prior to going away! Lauren has gone above and beyond for us, always on the lookout for a holiday bargain, that we already have the next 2 years of holidays booked. Nothing is too much trouble for her, responding to my countless emails and makes the booking process straightforward. Would not book with anyone else and can't recommend her enough!!

Fantastic experience: I really cannot rate this place highly enough, the lady we had, Chloe, her help, advice and recommendations really helped us choose a suitable place, and made it such a smooth and pleasant experience. I can get so stressed just thinking about booking let alone actually doing it, but Chloe totally put my mind at rest and now we won't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Book every year with Jess for our summer holidays to Cyprus and Kephalonia.

Positive experience: Went to pay off our holiday, the young lady made a mistake and overcharged us, the disappointing part was, that they could not refund us today over the phone, we have to go in tomorrow, in person, their mistake but punishing us.

Negative experience: We Stayed in the Catalonia Bavaro Beach, Golf and Casino Resort in Dom Rep in May. Im writing this review as how TUIs Newport branch have dealt with our complaint is disgusting. And we have still not received any compensation from our ! HOLIDAY FROM HELL ! As the holiday in which we paid for is not what we received. Below is a breakdown of events that occurred during our stay. On arrival to the hotel a member of staff showed us to the check in desk. We were assigned the room 2325 under the room description of ‘Junior Suite with Balcony or Terrace’. On arrival to the room we discovered a number of issues. . The Bath had a large crack in it, that had been hidden by a rolled towel. . Around the Bath was dirty, there was hair and markings. . The shower was dirty and shower heads and taps were not clean and very stained. . There was visible damage around the shower fixings and shower tray. . Outside the shower the flooring was not clean. . Adjacent to the shower was the toilet, there was markings on the wall behind, which can only be described as finger markings of what looked like human feces. Also to the left of the toilet on the floor there was debris of a similar nature which had not been cleaned. . All of the white towels were discoloured and on one there appeared to be a mark of an unknown substance. . Under the sink in the bathroom, there was a piece of cardboard being held on by metal tape. . The general cleanliness of all flooring throughout the room was poor. . There was markings on the curtains and on a number of surfaces throughout the room. . The ceiling fan, above the bed appeared to be hanging off the ceiling and was covered in a thick layer of dust. Overall we were not happy with the room that had been supplied, so we returned to reception to talk to a member of staff. On speaking to a member of staff after waiting a considerable amount of time, we were greeted by an unhelpful and rude member of staff. We explained the situation and showed photos of evidence of our room ( the photos we have supplied TUI with also). The first reaction from the member of staff was not approached with an apology or a possible solution. We were left no choice but to pay $520 USD to get a clean room. We were told to return to reception the following day at 3pm the following day to check into our new upgraded room, to which when we walked in had no aircon, after several complaints, we still had no aircon from the rest of our holiday. We are absolutely appalled the way we have been treated by TUI. In total we have been offer compensation of £380, which is not even 10% of our holiday, I do not feel this is a reasonable amount considering we had human Feces up our walls. I would highly recommend to not use this TUI branch as problems will not be dealt with. And staff members are very rude considering we were told “ thats all the compensation you will get” I will never use this tui or this store again !

Fantastic experience: Booked our first ever cruise with Ceri Ann this morning, she was very helpful and dealt with our many questions very professionally. She was very patient and sorted the whole holiday out for us without any fuss. 10/10 for Ceri Ann, will definitely book with her next time x

Fantastic experience: Very late posting this review but I’d like to praise Shannon on her kindness whilst booking mine and my partner’s first skiing holiday. We visited the branch back in early April and Shannon was so patient whilst dealing with us; she made us feel confident in our booking and even talked us through what all the different resorts in different countries had to offer! As this is a first skiing holiday for us both, she talked us through different packages and we were finally able to settle on one that was best suited to us. She even followed up a few weeks later with her own recommendations for the resort as she had been there herself. Thank you so much for making our booking experience one of the easiest ones we've ever had!!

Negative experience: Omg… just went into TUI Newport and was served by a young man Adam. The customer service training really needs to be revised… No welcome , very minimum communication and made us feel very awkward so we left! I work in consumer services myself and was shocked.

Negative experience: Booked a holiday and cancelled within 2 days Cardiff Bay store promised call back to no avail…Called Spytty Newport spoke to manager Mel who promised call back after taking loads of details again to no avail, call customer support who were good. I’m sure I would have had a call back if they hadn’t already taken my money. Poor customer service and little knowledge as conflicting and no one knows what their right and lefts hands are doing. Would I recommend NO as most of the staff have not got a clue on what they are doing.

Fantastic experience: Whenever we visit Tui we always go where Jess is, she makes the experience relaxed and exciting for everyone. Her knowledge of hotels and destinations is second to none and she will always go over and above to get you the best deals at the best price. There isn’t anyone else I would trust to book my holidays, so if you want the whole package before you step foot on the plane, book with Jess and the team.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocked by the customer care I have received from tui what should have been an easy booking have turned in to a nitemare for everyone involved! Went in lasst year to ask about a dream wedding in cyprus was told to gather everyone’s deposit by October to go in early to get the best deal out there which have resulted in us being allocated rooms that only sleep up to 3 ppl bearing in mind there’s family’s going up to 6 ppl but pulled from pillar to post over the last 2 months being told this was going to be resolved to now being told they demand more money for the rooms to be rectified bearing in mind they’ve admitted that there to blame can’t get our deposits back and if we want to cancel they want the remaining deposit absolutely shocking can’t speak to no1 else apart from the shop SHOCKING this has now been resulted in us haveing to cancel our wedding and loose more money stay away from tui spytty absolute shambles of a store they will not b getting anymore money from us think every1 have lost enough due to ur mess up

Negative experience: What should of been mine and my fiancées dream holiday for our wedding in 2025 have been spoilt by this store and the people who work in here we have been past from piller to post for 2 months after they messed up our booking arrangements and have now told us they want more money of us even though they have openly admitted it bein theyr fault if I could give a 0 rating I would as it’s been a very stressful time for everyone trying to deal with them . STAY AWAY

Fantastic experience: Went into Tui Newport to book a holiday. It would be our daughters first time abroad so we wanted as much help as we could in finding the right place. Ceri-Ann who helped us with this was nothing short of amazing! So happy and constantly smiling but most of all extremely helpful. She was so polite and fantastic with our daughter and never once made us feel rushed. She took her time to ensure we were going to the best possible place and as a result of this we cannot wait to go! Tui will be the only travel agents i use due to this fantastic experience. Big thanks to Ceri-Ann and all the staff!
