Negative experience: My parents have been travelling with GB Tours quite sometime now and their experience has been good up to now, However unfortunately my dad has fallen ill and can no longer travel on their latest holiday. 21 days notice given to GB Tours and the attitude to a refund or a even a change of date / destination when my Dad is well enough to go was and i quote (That's not happening) My parents spend alot of money with GB tours and this is an unforeseen circumstances and the best GB tours can do is refund 75% of the holiday. I understand the terms and conditions but given said circumstances and how often my parents travel with GB Tours i genuinely thought they could be more courteous and less rude to my Mum who is stressed as it is.

Fantastic experience: Just had a week on the Isle of Wight absolutely brilliant amazing warm and comfortable chalet wonderful food all staff excellent from booking to traveling with Steve our 3rd holiday and second with Steve can't wait till September and Durham many ,many thanks 5 stars

Positive experience: Just done our first GB Tours, Abba a amazing show and speacial effects superb. Day 1: Nice clean coach, friendly driver, Carl. Dropped us at Boro" Market before show, really nice market, prices reasonable, right by the Shard. Then transport to show, which was well organised. Then back to Hotel. St. Giles hotel in centre of London. Hotel very dated, not very clean. Our room was not clean at all, airline tags still on floor and noisey fan outside our room. So changed rooms at 11.30pm, not good. Would avoid this Hotel. Day 2: Breakfast ok, then a full half day in London because this Hotel is central. Coach picked us up 2.00pm rtn. home. If we book again with this company, more reseach into hotels they use, otherwise good trip, Apart from St. Giles Hotel

Fantastic experience: Just come back from the ABBA VOYAGE two day break . The coach was on time .It was a comfortable journey down to London . If your into ABBA then the show is a must .Hotel we stayed at was The Crown Plazza Cannery Warfe which was absolutely amazing .Great Breakfast. Day2 a trip into central London were we had a bit of tour then had some free time in Covent garden. A Massive shout out to our Driver who's name is Will who made the journey even more enjoyable .

Fantastic experience: Just returned from “ Belfast Bounty “ tour and would highly recommend it . Firstly our driver Andy was brilliant , everything was explained clearly and he was knowledgeable throughout, he is a great asset to GB tours . The hotel was great , great location , clean rooms and food was good especially the breakfast choice . All the trips out were I organised well the guides were full of interesting facts along the route. Definitely recommend this tour

Fantastic experience: We went on the Oxford/Windsor break on 6th October.Enjoyed both places,plus the hotel ,which had cal and relaxed atmosphere . The breakfast was wonderful. Lastly the Driver Graham was excellent and informative. Would definitely go on this tour again. Janet Jordan

Fantastic experience: Just been with GB yours to ABBA Voyage brilliant show.Would just like to say how well informed and lovely helpful driver Will was an absolute legend you should be very proud of him.Stayed at the Crown Plaza in London docklands what a beautiful place to stay all staff were lovely and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Just come back from a 4 night stay in the Cotswolds (as a solo traveler,) travelling with GB tours,and it was worth every penny I paid. The coach was air conditioned throughout,and very clean,with an onboard toilet if needed,and very comfortable. Our driver 'Derek' was so accommodating,very knowledgeable about everywhere we visited ,such a cheerful,funny man,always explaining about the villages we went to,and nothing was too much trouble for himOverall this was an absolutely fantastic trip away,and I can highly recommend this coach company to anyone looking to travel on their own or in a group

Fantastic experience: Day trip to Llangollen earlier today, included canal cruise & lunch onboard. The whole day trip was amazing! I would highly recommend it, i'll certainly be booking again for a return visit. Would like to say a huge thank you to the coach driver for an enjoyable and safe journey and to the crew on the canal barge, especially the main man who made us laugh through out the cruise along the canal, he certainly kept us entertained! Fantastic experience: I went with GB Tours to Abba Voyage last weekend with my friend. It was so easy and organised. Carl the driver made everything clear about timings etc and was friendly. We got to London on the Sunday afternoon and were dropped off for a few hours at Borough market. ( Bit odd going to a food market, but hey ho). Luckily, I had asked customer services beforehand what the plan was, so we took our clothes for the show with us and got changed in a toilet at a restaurant!!!! After this, we were dropped off at 4.30pm at the Abba Arena ready for the 6pm show. Carl picked us up after the show and took us to the hotel. We were in a twin room at the Tower Hotel which was lovely with breakfast included. After breakfast on Monday , we were dropped off at Covent garden for about 4 hours. We did a 2.5 hour bus tour of London to see the sights. We had 2 stops on the way home and got back in the evening. Will look at going with GB Tours again as the weekend was flawless.

Fantastic experience: Go regularly with g b tours and can t fault them on anything we’ve just come back from the Lake District and we had a excellent driver called Natalie she was very welcoming and credit to her she navagated the narrow roads round the lakes brilliantly looking to the next trip with g b

Fantastic experience: What a fabulous experience. Abba Voyage. The coach was on time, clean, wonderful helpful driver. Before this trip I had a phobia of buses /coaches. Well no more, it was so easy, I will certainly use this company again. My one and only small suggestion for improvement would be to receive a full itinery before the trip so we could plan our clothing better

Fantastic experience: Just back from London theatre trip coach was good clean plenty of leg room. Hotel was fantastic Crown Plaza Docklands great Italian opposite did a mean cocktail. Tesco for bits and bobs the sky train opposite. Mo Parry our tour manager was really knowledgeable about the London sights and answering any questions we would throw at her. The Tina Turner musical was beyond words as was sister Act with Ruth Jones Beverly Knight and lemar. My only fault is that 2 women alone where left at a drop off at sainsburys wrexham nothing open for us to ring for a taxi this was not the fault of the driver william who had been great throughout our journey but the gb tour company who will not pay for its customers to be left in a safe place

Fantastic experience: Just back from a lovely break at the Winnock Hotel, Drymen. Food good, Staff pleasant and helpful. Natalie our driver was great. Company on the coach all helpful and cheerful. Weather good a really lovely week.

Negative experience: Just got back from York and Durham driver was great, hotel really not good room ok, evening meal was shocking

Fantastic experience: Great tour, brilliant driver Hugh on coach 7, IOW 5th Feb. Felt very safe as he coped with rain, narrow roads and diversions. He was helpful, patient and informative without overdoing the chat. In fact, a perfect driver.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from Gunton Hall in Suffolk, what a fantastic holiday we had, food excellent, cleanliness second to none, Eddie was our driver what a amusing guy. (Drinks very pricey though)

Fantastic experience: Another great trip with GB Tours, this time to Warner's Alveston Hall. We have travelled with them many times and we have never been disappointed. We did a self drive for the first time but went out to Salford Quays with Michelle. She is friendly, knowledgeable and above all a great driver. A credit to the company. Well done again GB and a massive thanks for the credit gratefully received. We love Alveston Hall and enjoyed our trip. We were looked after well by both the hotel and GB Tours.

Fantastic experience: Staff are amazing. They went out of their way to ensure my mums friends missing handbag was found and returned within half an hour. Also the driver of the bus who turned around on his way home to bring it back. The lady who answered our call with 15 mins to close was amazing and called straight back to advise on exactly what to do and where to go to collect the bag. Absolutely amazing service.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff especially Holly. Had a couple of good short coach trips . Good value. Would recommend if you don't fancy driving yourself

Negative experience: My elderly Mum and Dad saved up and went on a GB tour on the 1st of November 2023 to Bornmouth, they had a lovely hotel but on the way back the bus driver neglected to tell them that they had to change busses in Cheltenham, Mum had fallen asleep and before the knew it they were in Worcestershire. The bus driver called his head office and informed Mum that they had to take a taxi, this cost her £65 to get back to Hereford, then to send the receipt to GB liners in order to get reimbursed. Mum did as she was asked but now GB liners are saying they never recieved the taxi reciept. So are refusing to reimburse. Managed to take the booking and money though.

His driving was second to none, so calm, so professional, so safe in some very bad conditions. Went over and above to add so many interesting facts, being a Scouser himself. He put in so much effort to make the trip so amazing for all of us. Positive experience: Wonderful trip to Cambridge.4 nights and 5 days .Stayed out the Belfry Hotel and Spa.the driver Hue was helpful and pleasant the whole time.Went to Ely Cathedral,Duxford,Wimpole house and Cambridge could of spent more time at Duxford 2 hours is not long enough so much to do.Lovely time had would do again .

Fantastic experience: Myself and my mum went ro seAbba Voyage Show in London on the 16th July 2023 .Our driver was Ethan and can I say what a credit he is to your company ,a polite,helpful and courteous driver with a great happy and positive attitude .We loved the show and also loved staying on the yacht ,it was all perfect and loved Covent Garden roo .The only issue I have is I would like to have been informed we wouldn't have time to freshen up and change clothes as it was an event where you would dress up and we had bought a specific outfit to wear .Also 4 hours in Southwark was way roo much 2 hours would have been ample .Otherwise fantastic trip thank you all so much .

Fantastic experience: Enjoyed our trip to the Cotswolds. From beginning to end it was a pleasurable trip. Our driver Graham was excellent. The hotel was in beautiful grounds and the accommodation, food and staff was all good.

Fantastic experience: Went with this Company last year to Royal Albert Hall - couldn't fault them. Just returned from Abba Experience in London - amazing. We stayed at Tower Hotel on the embankment, which was excellent. Mo Parry was the courier on both trips and is a grea courier with good knowledge of the city. She was an excellent host tending to our needs on the coach too. Drivers were great on both trips - Doug was our driver for Abba Experience - sorry I can't remember driver for last year, but date was 20th March. Office staff were very helpful and obliging. What more can I say..

Fantastic experience: Just got back from an overnight stay in the Lake District, staying at the Holiday Inn at Barrow in Furness. We visited four lovely places and had a boat trip on Windermere. The Holiday Inn was super and faultless in every way. Our driver, Ethan, made sure that we had the best out of every moment of this trip. Excellent!

Fantastic experience: Have just been with Mo and Andy to the sundown yacht and only fools and horses at the hay market theatre .what a great time we had, They we’re both pleasant polite and very helpful . Nothing was too much trouble we had plenty of hot drinks both on the way down and back home.Around London they were very knowledgeable and told us interesting things about the surrounding area. These two people are very good ambassadors for your company. I would give them both 100% and hopefully we will have the pleasure to see them again on another trip with your company. They made a good trip even better.

Positive experience: we have just come back from a Turkey and Tinsel in Loo was disappointing to start the driver never decorated the coach and never put any music on usually this puts everyone in the holiday spirit. Then on arrival at the hotel he told us the coach would be leaving for home on Tuesday morning for 7.30 even the manager got on and said what? There was no entertainment or any kind of activity going on for the first 2 evenings and to make matters worse no comfy chairs to relax in on the third night we did have a guitarist in the bar area, no real atmosphere in the hotel at all even what should have been Christmas day no different feeling we did have bucks fizz on entering the restaurant but not even a mince pies with the coffee very sad.On a good note the food was very good and the staff were nice to talk to, on the way home one of the passengers put a little tinsel around the drivers mirror but he said he doesn't put anything up as the blue tack is hard to get off, there are other things he could have used all the way home no music just didn't feel like it should have been festive I have to say this has been the first Turkey and Tinsel that we have felt like this and we have been with GB a few times Sadly we took two friends that had never been on this kind of thing before and what we had told them they were expecting to have a really lovely time I had to explain that this was an exception, It mad us realize that we will have to study the itinerary very carefully before booking another Christmas break

Fantastic experience: Just had a trip to Thursford Christmas Spectacular which was great. It was long journey however the show was well worth it. Gavin the Welsh Wizard lovely driver and very informative. Call in to Stamford for a few hours on the way back which was a lovely town. Would certainly recommend this trip. All be it a long way to go for 1 night

Fantastic experience: Been to castle Howard. We stayed at the crown Hotel in Harrogate great staff, clean warm rooms. food was great for what we paid . all in all a great experience, would recommend to anyone. Opps nearly forgot the bus driver ,very professional and friendly.

Clean room and good breakfast also ideally situated for quick and easy walk into city centre.

Fantastic experience: My friend and I have just returned from a trip with GB TOURS to Gunton Hall Suffolk with our very courteous and helpful driver Fred. Pleasantly surprised with the warm and comfortable chalet, excellent entertainment and great choice of food. We've had a fabulous time, made better with the charming, pleasant staff. Fantastic value for money.

Negative experience: Shocking company and customer service is a disgrace. They have cancelled 4 holidays this year with only 4 weeks notice, yes refund has been paid but no time to book another holiday with another company. Just phoned them to cancel a holiday in April 2023 and they are saying that they are keeping the deposit. WHY, you have had over 6 months notice. I hope they use the deposit to train their staff in better customer service

Negative experience: The place is lovely the rooms were nice our driver Howard made our holiday but I’m really sorry the food let them down the custard was so thin soup was thin the roast potato’s where so hard you couldn’t eat it Sunday roast three sorts of meat all meat sliced and left for ages roast again too hard to eat everyone except one person was moaning the chef decided to come and pick on me I hadn’t eaten anything only breakfasts as they were good but I’m sorry he picked on wrong one I gave back what he gave out I did apologise to everyone as it’s not like me to get so annoyed .the young staff were really good .I would love to go on another holiday with your company but never go back to that hotel we even booked a taxi to take us out for a Sunday evening meal we booked a taxi that never showed up that’s why e tried to eat in hotel but I still went hungry ,I have never bought a thank you card for a driver before but he made the holiday for all of us he had to struggle one day with the help of passengers to get our coach out as it was blocked in by a car but nobody admitted it was theirs

Fantastic experience: We have just returned from our trip to Northumberland with our Driver Vaughan the hotel was great food was exceptional fellow traveller good company guide was very knowledgable al in all a very good break our Driver was polite tidy happy and helpful at all times once again thank you GB tours

Positive experience: Recently visited Durham With GB tours, staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel. The tour was excellent but marred by the poor quality of the evening meal,, It was of mediocre quality and poorly cooked, not what I would of expected from a Radisson Hotel. The rooms and breakfasts where excellent. Durham itself was well worth a visit with GB Tours.

Fantastic experience: Spent an amazing few days in Cornwall with GB tours, hotel room was excellent clean and well stocked, staff were very friendly and helpful, our driver Michelle was very helpful and informative

Fantastic experience: Hebridean Tour starting 23 April was just great. Driver Eddie was a star. All accommodation good and the tours well organised. Excellent value for money...the scenery was spectacular.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a five day break to Paignton, Devon. Excellent value for money. Wonderful driver (Mark from Pulham Coaches). Hotel (Torbay Court) well located with good walking access to both the seafront and town, comfortable accommodation with a great choice offered on the menu each night. Entertainment most nights. Trips out included Sidmouth, Dartmouth, Torquay plus a free day to do what you want. Thank you once again for a lovely holiday.

Fantastic experience: Five stars are for the trip and the driver who were excellent. However we would only give one star to the hotel.Apart from the staff it was Fawlty towers. I hope the next time they do a trip they don't have a separate menu which was discussing.i would go on two or three holidays a year with GB but will only be when I have established the menu is for everyone and not a coach special. Food: Top five: 1. Leek surprise, try to find the leek in the soup a fun game for all. 2. Toast, before you spread your butter remember to scrap off the mould. 3. Belly pork Slices: or should we say just Belly Slices as there was such a small slither of pork attached if you blinked your miss it. 4. Butter Squash and Chilli Soup: Apart from killing 99 percent of all household germs it was cold and discusting. It was then taken to the food bank who sent it back. 5.Breakfast sausages: which were nearly cooked somebody said one good kiss of life and they would run back to the sty. It would not have seemed so bad if the only on tap lager had not broke on the first night and we spent the rest of the week waiting for an engineer to mend it. The holiday was good but the food did spoil the hotel's integrity. Real shame as a few simple changes would improve immediately

Fantastic experience: Went to Western Super Mare last week with GB tours ,Hotel Royal Grovenor was a disaster, cold ,dirty , no room service whatsoever, not to be recommended at all. Our driver Claire was excellent and went out of her way to be helpful, I think GB tours should really look at this hotel before advertising it anymore, we have done most of their holidays but this one is definitely the worst place we have ever stayed, and they can expect many more complaints.

Fantastic experience: Isle of Wight 5 day trip staying at Burlington hotel ,Sandown. Considering this was a budget trip we had a lovely time. Hotel had been refurbished, staff friendly couldn't do enough to make our holiday enjoyable. Entertainment excellent especially the 2 female singers. Trips good except Newport as nothing there so would have preferred more time in Yarmouth.

Positive experience: Hopeless driver Eddie. Rutland Hotel very good Our first GB Tours break to Isle of Man. P. & O. Lloyd driver picked up at Salford and followed a rout vai M602 rather than direct shorter A580. Had decided to take his break in Lancaster but abandoned after running into bad traffic and had us sitting on Heysham quayside instead, when he handed out then took back ferry tickets as he didn't know the protocol. Did not know where the hotel was. Did not post itinerary on hotel notive board (like the other coach driver) or advise us before on the day. Did not research parking. Did not know what Peel Caastle was. Took us to Laxey Wheel which was shut and clad in scaffoldig and ignored alternative visitor centre option. No infromastive chat during the excursions - clearly no preparation or GB Tours information, Just disinterested comments giving the impression he'd rather be somewhere else. Return journey included 45 min break within an hour of leaving the ferry - why isn't time on the ferry a 'driver break'?' He took A580 short cut on the return! Rutland Hotel and staff were very good and efficient - food was well doen an enough. Slick operation from the welcome and baggage handling. We didn't join in but bu all accounts the entertainement was good. Room was clean and comfortable - but 'Victorian draughty.

Negative experience: My elderly parents booked a holiday with GB Tours and my mother got Covid and couldnt go . My father went down to let the owner/manager know and ask if he could transfer his holiday until my mother was better . The owner/manager was in the office and would not speak to my 88 year old Father , even though he was only 3 yards away . This is the worst customer service experience that I have ever encountered and would advise anyone to steer clear of this company and book their holiday through another , more respectful and courteous company.

Fantastic experience: Thank you G B tours for a wonderful Christmas trip to the Durrant Hotel Bideford Devon. It was excellent and the daily excursions were wonderful too, a perfect Christmas Thank you

Fantastic experience: Just returned from Castle Howard at Christmas. Driver was Steve. Trip was good but Steve was such an advocate for your company. He was knowledgeable, professional, funny, caring and informative about other trips. He was also very complimentary of the Management if the company, he is a very committed member of the GB team. Our first coach trip, thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: On our way back from Turkey & Tinsel at The Palace Hotel, Paignton. I must say this is by far the best coach break ive been on, Hotel, Staff Entertainment and Food is a 10 out of 10. Our coach driver Craig is 11/10 lovely personality, chatty, helpful and funny, well done Craig for looking after us and thank you.

Fantastic experience: Just home from Belfast and can’t prise GB Tours enough. The driver Jamie was excellent helping those who hadn’t completed their location forms and even when ferry was delayed kept us entertained with a visit to a shopping centre, obtaining discount tickets and then showing us videos on the coach. He then arranged for free meals on the ferry. There was a complaint re a passenger who was constantly coughing and Jamie questioned them and then informed us that the lady had asthma. He took her temperature and it was normal. The following day she took the lateral test and she was negative. On our return we received notification that we had been in contact with someone with covid. Although we now have tested positive for covid we do not hold GBTours or Jamie responsible.

Positive experience: Took a coach trip to London staying overnight at The Waldorf hotel on Oct 31st.The coach driver whose name was Mick was excellent throughout the whole trip and nothing was too much trouble for him.The hotel is iconic so was obviously grand,the room and facilities were spot on.My only criticism was not being told beforehand or not finding anything printed in the hotel room informing me that breakfasts for people on coach trips were only served between 7 and 8-30 am.l only found this out when i asked at the desk and was told that the proper time was 9-45 am but that was only for the 'normal people'....mmmmm l think maybe she should have chose her words a little better.l could see the red mist develop over my wife's face.But apart from missing out on the breakfast at the hotel we really enjoyed the trip so thank you Mick and GB tours.

Fantastic experience: Just got back from a 5 day tour staying at the Anchorage hotel in Babbacombe the coach driver was excellent and the trips were very good. The hotel was good with entertainment on two nights all in all a very enjoyable break would definitely travel with them again

Fantastic experience: Have just yesterday returned from a six night stay at the Ambassador hotel in Jersey and would just like to thank you all for a marvellous time . The hotel was superb with great staff and lovely meals and well situated , we went on several outings with the Island's Waverley coach company and all were brilliant and Lakeside coaches got us to the ferry terminal at Poole in good time and were there waiting upon our return to get us home safely , many thanks for all concerned in making our holiday memorable , kind regards , Keith and Sue Alexander !

Fantastic experience: A fantastic break to Blackpool and Windermere in the Lake District made all the better thanks to our great driver, Andy. Andy went above and beyond in making our break so enjoyable, especially when one passenger took ill. Well done Andy!

Positive experience: Went on the Canterbury and Kent Downs tour. Michelle our driver was great friendly helpful smart and knowledgeable would go on any trip with her. Hotel was changed but we were notified replacement was modern and in centre so handy for us who aren’t too good on our legs I come from Kent and was disappointed with the choice of visits as I felt it didn’t show of this County to its very best and felt there could have been better choices made .. The Leeds castle visit was wonderful but the Apple farm was not very uneven ground and grumpy staff due to us being late due to traffic only thing open was cafe .We would have been much better off at one of the large local produce farm shops with tea rooms .Maybe a visit to the pilots memorial at Dover would be suitable .

Fantastic experience: Went to Hereford and Wye Valley 6/9/2021 for five days with GB Tours.Justin was our Driver and would hope to go on another break with him as Driver.Great sense of humour and we had a super few days with him. The trips were great and we had a really friendly bunch of people,would hope to meet up with some of them again. Thankyou Justin and GB Tours.

Positive experience: Had a great trip to the lake district with gb tours. Our driver Andy was great, thank you Andy. Cumbria Grand Hotel was ok, needs bit of tlc. Went on good excursions. Thanks again for a great trip.

Negative experience: My mom stayed at a hotel booked via GB Tours . Complained on return about the atrocious hygiene of the bed sheets. Operations Manager was not that intersted at all and I felt a standard stock response was recieved. In fact it was almost her fault because she had booked a budget hotel that dirty sheets were to be expected.

Positive experience: Went a trip to Cumbria last weekend bought from my local newspaper. Would recommend trip coach driver Paul was brilliant helpful and a fantastic driver. Scenery was great. Only letdown was both lifts at hotel wasn't working.
