Positive experience: My sister and i went on the Shrewsbury and River Cruise, the driver was really lovely and the river Cruise was excellent, very well narrated by the knowledgeable helmsman, we then went on to the Loopy Shrew for a sunday Lunch which was included in the price of the trip. However the sunday roast was the most awful meal I have ever had, the roast beef was as tough as old boots and when you finally cut into it, it was really not edible, the green vegetables were quite raw and once again you could not cut into them. the desert which was ice cream and sorbet had already melted by the time it came to the table. Whilst I rate Timewells as excellent and 5 star the loopy shrew does not get any rating at all.

Fantastic experience: First time with Time Wells. Day trip to Oswaldtwistle mill. Trip included three course meal which was lovely, then an hour of entertainment with a singer who was brilliant. She had a lot of us up dancing to a selection of tunes. After that we had two hours of shopping. Our driver Alan was really good, helpful and good fun. The staff providing our meal were all lovely. There'a big variety of items to shop for. I met some lovely people. I will be booking another trip soon with timewells. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My friend and I have just returned from a lovely 4-day holiday to Bodelwyddan Castle which we thoroughly enjoyed. Also, all praise and thanks must be passed on to our driver Dennis for his safe and skilful driving. He also kept us entertained with his lively personality. He's a great asset to you and we wish him well for the future. We've enjoyed various day trips and holidays with Timewells over several years and now look forward to many more, hopefully with Dennis as our driver.

Positive experience: Travel with Timewells alot and trips are always really good and good value for money. But this time we went on the Lakeland cruise, there was a man who gives a running commentary, all the way to Grange over Sands which is unnecessary and you can't relax as he goes on and on about facts about every motorway, when they were opened etc...... not relaxing at all, which is a real shame. The driver was ok, didn't get a chance to say a word. This is the second time we have had this on the same trip and it's spoils the trip. It's was a bit rushed not enough time in Bowness, could do with a bit longer. Apart from that we had a lovely day.

Fantastic experience: What a lovely experience we've had over to Thirsk today to visit Wenslydale Cheese manufacturing. Picked up and dropped off as per schedule. Good value for money and Ian was a cracking driver. Thanks very much.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic trip to Emmerdale on Sunday 23rd March. Dennis our driver was amazing, we laughed non stop, Timewells you have an absolute treasure in him. Nothing was too much bother. He went out of his way to drive to Woolpack pub outside the village so we could eat and get a drink. The pub was a let down staff really rude, Dennis called ahead to say we were coming, we walked in only 19 of us and staff immediately barked at us not to sit down anywhere, so I and others walked out, I know they said they were expecting another coach, but all they had to say was yes we could sit but vacate when others arrive. Would never go back to that pub, a member of staff pulled Dennis to blame him for just turning up, Dennis showed him call on his phone to them, lack of communication with his nasty staff. Anyway Emmerdale, take food, as no facility to eat only snacks. I was not impressed with the layout of the gift shop or gifts on offer, they could be a lot more imaginable and prices off the scale, but you can get tea coffee quite expensive. Not enough sitting room for people. Thank you Timewells for trip, your coaches spotless, seat belts foot rests we were very impressed and will travel with you again. Hope we get Dennis again .....

Fantastic experience: Did the scenic in the lakes day trip today,absolutely loved it visited windermere,Graesmere ,the scenery was stunning,the driver was brilliant will be doin this trip again in r future,well worth the money ,coach had hot drinks and snacks to .will definitely book with Timewells again.

Positive experience: Calf's head trip coach is always an hour late (due to "accident") it's happened twice to us, and 3 times to another lady that was there. Waiting in the cold winter mornings is no joke. The pick up is obviously an hour late than stated. Would be much easier to tell you that. We wouldn't book again because of this, it's not worth it. Calf's head lovely meal lovely although if there's something on there that evening they rush the meal, and I mean rush it. Taking your plate away before you finish. Timewells drivers are lovely. But there's obviously a problem with the pick up times for the calf's head.

Fantastic experience: We had a great day out to Ulverston Christmas Market on November 24th 2024 Our driver Dennis was brilliant, he was upbeat, funny, kind and patient he made our trip. He worked so hard kept us safe on the roundtrip and not a word of complaint on what was a very long day for him. We will definitely use this company again. We had a great day out.

Fantastic experience: We had 5 days in the Scottish Highlands in September, it was very enjoyable going different places. Our driver was Adrian and he looked after us all very well. Looking forward to the next holiday. Timewells is a good firm with nice trips and staff.

Fantastic experience: Just got back from a 5 day trip to the Scottish Highlands. Absolutely loved it! Value for money was great. The driver Adrian was absolutely brilliant! Great banter, always happy to talk to us and answer any questions even on his day off, he couldn't have done anymore for us, he felt more like our friend than our driver! I'm already looking forward to the next one, can't wait!

Positive experience: Went to York 29th Aug disappointed, should have been picked up 9.25am not picked up till 9.45. Didn't get to York till 12.15 lunch time, coach left York 5pm not much time after having lunch, didn't get dropped off at Rocket broadgreen till 9pm. Out frome home for 12 1/4 hrs to spend 4 an a half hours in York very little information from driver didn't even introduce himself.

Fantastic experience: I have just got back from a trip to Lincoln. I have to say our journey was a pleasure from beginning to end. Our drivers name was Chris, he was pleasant, polite, funny, informative and very friendly. Excellent service.

Fantastic experience: My friend Jan and myself recently went on a trip to .Downton Abbey and The Cotswolds. We had a brilliant time! Our driver Ian was excellent from beginning to end! Positive experience: Timewells coach trips are great but my trip to Beaumaris and Plas Newydd was a bit disappointing. We only had 75 in Beaumaris which was not enough time to do or see anything. Traveling onto Plas Newdd in the afternoon was also disappointing as felt rushed. Advised to visit house first as last admission was 3:30. (The house is a good 10 min walk, for an able person, from the coach park.) so we had 1 hour. After visiting house we then discovered it was too late to get any food in cafe, only drinks or cake. We enjoyed walks around beautiful gardens with fantastic views. However, I feel, as did many of the other passengers, that it would have made sense to visit the house/gardens first and then visit Beaumaris afterwards. Also an earlier start may have improved the day. Great coach driver as always. And lovely place to visit but timings were not good and lots of passengers did not get to eat as we all assumed we would be able to get something in the cafe at Plas Newydd.

Fantastic experience: We went on a day trip down to Oxford and absolutely loved it, the driver was wonderful and very friendly. Adrian is very knowledgeable without being ‘too much’ the journey was comfortable and straightforward with good stop offs.. we enjoyed it so much that we booked another trip to the lakes when we got back! We had Adrian again and had another great trip .. steam train and cruise. Guess who booked another when we got back I have mobility issues so having a guaranteed, comfortable seat is what I need and the low cost is a definite added bonus x

Negative experience: Unprofessional and Disgusting service outside my child’s school yelling at parents and when I tried to complain that I was anxious about the driver who took the children I was rudely spoken too and the phone put down on. This company should not be in a million miles of a school or school children

Negative experience: Absolutely horrendous company. Driver gave me and my little girl abuse for pointing out he had blocked an entire junction causing chaos and dangerous to children. Abused myself verbally and with hand gestures. Wouldn’t let this man drive children anywhere. Complained and they just don’t care.

Fantastic experience: Just got back from a good 5 day break in Llandudno. Hotel was good, food was good, rooms clean!! Our driver was John (dont know 2nd name sorry) he was such a nice friendly fella, extremely patient with other guests & so courteous with other drivers/people on the roads etc. Weather was a bit up & down but we enjoyed the break. Thanks John

Fantastic experience: We used Timewells for a day trip to Whitby. Driver was excellent, knew all the ways to avoid traffic so we got the most out of our day. He was amusing and personable. We would definitely use them again. Handy pick up point in our town.

Fantastic experience: Thoroughly enjoyed a day trip to Grange Over Sands and Morecambe. Paul our driver was very good. Lovely walks along both promenades and a good choice of coffee/eating places. The park in Grange is a lovely place to sit and watch the ducks on the lake. Also worth visiting the well stocked garden centre near the prom. A full and interesting day.

Negative experience: Nice driver but he smokes in it. Does the school run but whenever students board it wreaks of cigarette smoke and sticks in the air. Smell is very strong at the front and young kids sit there. Absolutely awful!!!!

Fantastic experience: Just had a five day break to Kingussie in the Scottish Highlands. Hotel was fine with a good choice for dinner. It was a buffet breakfast. It was a long hike up there but Paul, our driver, gave us three breaks each way. The excursions were good, the Harry Potter train ride and a dolphin watching boat trip were excellent. All in all, a very enjoyable few days away and good value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to go away with Timewells again.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time with Timewell's on a day trip to Cambridge. Bit of a journey as it took over 5 hours with only a 20 minutes break due to an accident, which meant we only got to have 4 hours in Cambridge. Coming back we stopped off at the same services which was really busy again due to people coming back from the football. Maybe give a bit longer as 25 minutes is not long enough for something to eat and drink!! I think a 1-2 night break would be better so that you could see more of the sights as I'm sure people would book if it was reasonably priced!! The driver didn't speak much, only telling everyone he was stopping in 10 minutes to the services and to be back on the coach for 20 past five. A little more interaction with the passengers would have been nice!! Looking forward to visiting a few more places with Timewell's !!

Negative experience: Well well well....first and last time I travel by coach with or without this firm....the journey to York I was told, and many others on the coach said the same, should have taken approx 3 hours, 5 hours it took!!! The drivers changed at a motorway service station and the second driver got lost, taking us down little country lanes, cars beeping him all the way. We called the office whilst still on the coach to complain with absolutely no apology or excuse given. Totally put me off. In total we spent 8.5 hours there and back on the coach and 2.5 hours at castle Howard. I would NEVER have booked if I'd have been told we'd be travelling that length of time!!!!

The driver was excellent....he ran the trip so well....THE BEST RUN COACH TRIP I HAVE BEEN ON. Hotel could have been better but everything else was great. WILL CERTAINLY TRY TO USE TIMEWELLS AGAIN. Fantastic experience: Booked a turkey and tinsil break (13th - 17th Nov 2017) on the isle of weight. Excellent service from 1st contact to final return travel home. Special mention to Michael our driver. 1st rate. Even having to change planned route home to miss an 18 mile tailback on motorway. Well done sir. Recommend this company highly. Looking forward to holidaying via then again
