Fantastic experience: I booked my 2024 Umrah package with Al Haq travel. Sister Huda was very helpful in finding me my perfect package according to my budget and requirements. She was efficient in sending me all the information I needed for my trip to go smoothly. The flights, hotel and transfers all met my expectations. The ziyarats were a bit too simple with just a driver taking you different places for a couple of minutes. However, the driver in Makkah at least did his best to explain the history. I felt peace of mind knowing that I could contact Huda at Al Haq travel if anything went wrong but thankfully everything was great. Highly recommended

Negative experience: Terrible Experience - Avoid Al Haq Travel I wouldn't even give one star!! I would never recommend Al Haq Travel to anyone. I booked to go to Umrah but my experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare. Our visas arrived last minute after I had to constantly chase them for updates. When we arrived in Madinah, the hotel had no record of our booking. After hours of back-and-forth, they finally arranged the Makkah hotel, but the Madinah hotel was a disaster. We were asked to check out after just one night because the room was booked for someone else! When I contacted Al Haq, they insisted that our four-night booking was confirmed and claimed it shouldn’t be an issue. It was clear they had failed to secure our reservation properly. After wasting hours trying to sort it out, Al Haq said they resolved it, but the hotel still showed no booking. They couldn't even find us another hotel nearby, and prices were now sky-high and far from the area. I had to go to the hotel next door and book a room myself, which was available instantly. This level of disorganization is unacceptable, especially on such an important trip. I will never use Al Haq Travel again – absolutely pathetic service.

Fantastic experience: We booked a group umrah trip for 10 of us in October. Shahbaaz provided a very smooth service for us and was very quick to respond to any queries. He got us direct flights and 5 star hotels at a decent price. He later managed to upgrade us to Fairmont Hotel in the Clock Royal Tower which was very nice and close to the Haram. This is our second trip that we have booked through Al-Haq travels and we will be using their services again in the future.

Negative experience: Crap & ridiculous service. Booked tickets for Pakistan for my parents and relatives as per a recommendation. Used a credit card to pay which I have done with others on many occasions. Kept getting pestered by this company that they’ve now been charged a 2% credit card fee and that I now have to pay £78. Firstly I don’t have to do anything, it is against ABTA policy for any travel agent to ask consumers to pay a credit card fee as per regulation which I had to educate them on. Secondly I’ve been running my own business for 11 years and have never asked my own customers to cover any card fees or charges so found this pretty odd. I still said don’t worry I’ll pay it as I don’t like to inconvenience anyone. Even after paying it I’ve been receiving numerous messages at silly times over the weekend for the sake of £78, it’s a bloody joke and not as if it’s a huge sum in the grand scheme of things. If it was someone else they wouldn’t have even paid and simply blocked this person but the fact that I am honest enough to cover it and still getting messages is beyond me. Get a better accounts department!! And learn to treat customers with respect, don’t continuously message at random times after someone is decent enough to even pay these silly charges.

The hotels we were booked into were all excellent and 5 stars in rating. There were no issues with cleanliness and they were all very close to the masjids in Makkah and Madinah. Negative experience: Pros - Customer service was great the agency answered all my queries immediately - The umrah guide was amazing, spoke academic English and provided recommendations where to shop etc.. - The hotels the agency provided was great. Cons - The tour guide experience in Makkah was extremely disappointing. The driver was unable to communicate in English and remained in his vehicle, often occupied with personal phone calls, rather than guiding us. Additionally, he unexpectedly charged us £60 for a museum visit! - The tour guide for Medina ziriyat was a nightmare. The driver did not speak a word of English and was very impatient. He wanted us to spend 5 minutes on each location. He was very rude which put me off from wanting to explore other places. When I asked if I could pray at the Mosque Quba he seemed very annoyed. - The driver that drove us from Makkah to Medina should be banned from driving! He was on his phone speaking to his family (Im assuming) while driving at a high speed. I felt very unsafe, since he spent more time looking at his phone than watching the roads. I am personally grateful that I did not bring kids as I would never put them in such danger. Overall review I would not recommend this agency based on my experience. The drivers employed by the agency lacked both experience and professionalism. Miscommunication with the drivers led to unnecessary additional expenses, including unplanned costs for services like tour guides. The driver that drove us from makkah to medina put us on such high risk by using his phone! The only positive experience i had was the umrah tour guide.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time organising my Umrah trip with Shahbaz. The process of booking the trip was very easy, I was provided some hotels to choose from which gave my family flexibility. Great communication and quick service. When we arrived in Medina, checking into the hotel was lengthy as check in times were after 1pm, we arrived at 11am and the room wasn’t available. However we booked the room for the night before so I couldn’t understand the issue. They eventually gave us a room but the room wasn’t in the best condition. The bathrooms had dirt around the sink & the panelling was also broken and in dirt in bath. The beds had hair in them and there was a massive bug in one of them. No issues with our shuttle service, they picked us up on time and provided us with a comfortable journey. Makkah hotels were great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Easy access to food, pharmacy, shops and the Haram. Shahbaz provided a great service, unfortunately the hotel let us down in Medina no fault of his. He was very responsible to when we had our issues and helped resolve them. I will book with him again.

Fantastic experience: This is my 3rd time organising umrah trips through Shahbaz, March 23 (8 people), Dec 23 (5 people) & now myself going solo - 15th April 24. Having some idea now of what's what/where in both Medina/Makkah I thought it would be easy booking this time, but after near 6 changes from myself over prob 90 mins on WhatsApp, finally gt the absolute ideal trip iternary involving Medina/Makkah & Dubai. Minimal stopovers, affordable but quality hotels in 3 cities & a great price, it was absolute pleasure today from start to finish. Shahbaz knew the hotels, but still allowed me the freedom to independently look over them through TripAdvisor etc & satisfy myself before proceeding, the one thing I would recommend to anyone is avoid transit flights at all costs - they are a total nightmare & more chances of things going wrong / causing headaches when u least need that. I would without hesitation recommend Shahbaz at Al-Haq, so much so I'm booking my family of 4 trip for Dec 24 umrah through them as well. Date of experience: April 15, 2024

Hassan was able to provide me with an amazing package and was very thorough through out. He was quick and was able to arrange everything within 1.5hours after I had such a stressful week of booking issues. Alhumdulillah could not recommend hassan highly enough and will be using him in the future along with passing his details to family and friends also.

Negative experience: The Alhaq Travel agency was great in booking the package and listening to my requirements, which is normal for any agency. However, they were persistent in requesting feedback before the travel. We had a major issue when we arrived during Ramadan, the 5-star hotel Elaf Kinda Hotel - had no car drop and pick up, and the taxi dropped us off 500 yards with 4 luggage in hot weather. The transport company drivers are worse. The agency also failed to deliver our Zyarah for Makkah due to an issue with transport and M Daanish our travel co-ordinator from the agency made no further arrangements. On our departure from Makkah, we noticed other taxi companies managed to pick up of other passengers from our hotel, and they had a special pass to gain access anytime for the hotel guests. The Al Haq Travel taxi company made no effort to accommodate us. Our 5-star hotel Saja Al Madina, during the check-in process, said we were on the waiting list with 10 guests in front of us. We waited 30 min and then reached out to Al Haq to explain to us the unreasonable delay for check in. After 2 min, the hotel quickly did our check-in. The Medina Ziarat, we could not understand the driver as he could not speak basic English and was on the phone with his friends and family during the 2-hour travel. He was glued to his seat, and we had to walk around. On this occasion, I would not recommend using this agency for 5-star packages or travelling with children.

Positive experience: First of all it is my first time leaving a review regarding services availed from a Travel Agency. The services and communication I have received so far from Al Haq Travel regarding my Umrah package, specifically Mr Danish is very commendable. From the beginning of providing a best quote, until the very end to providing suitable flight times, prompt visa and hotel booking issuance, Mr Danish has been very helpful throughout! He has also provided the most suitable hotel packages seeing I have a small baby so as to have a comfortable hassle free stay. Positive experience: We booked the umrah trip with alhaq Travel. Trip was organised by Alhaq in 3 different places. Makkah hotel was quite good. Hotel staff were very friendly and breakfast was up to standard. We didn't had any problems but madina hotel was quite old building was not up to today standard same menue every day. The good thing was that the masjid was quite near only walking distance. We could perform all salaat in masjid. The dubai Hotel was very good clean and staff was excellent but the negative point was that the breakfast was same same everyday which innouse us. The Alhaq Travel staff were helpful through out all our journey which we appreciated especially shabaz hussain was good and helpful throughout the trip. We thanked him.

Fantastic experience: Well looked after from shabaz booked flight and hotels with them, at a good price the hotels in Makkah and Madina were very clean they provided everything needed in hotels, Makkah Voco hotel is 20-25mins walk they also provide shuttle service takes from 20-30mins depending on traffic you get dropped off at clock tower underground and 5mins walk you are in masjid, Madina was Anwar Al Madina Mövenpick very close to haram, shabaz kept checking all the way during journey was everything ok would recommend this company

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing. Hasan had booked us 13 people for Umrah...he was very professional and even though l kept changing things here and there he was an extremely patient man. Leaving for umrah tonight but if you book defo book using this agent. Hasan has impeccable manners. I want to express my gratitude for his efforts. May Allah accept our umrah.

Negative experience: Totally disgusting travel agent, horrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend anyone. From hotel booking to makkah hotel, Madina hotel, Jeddah airport taxi everywhere they made my journey nightmare even they didn't give me the ajwa dates which they advertised. Whenever I complained about their mistakes, straightaway they always blame customer and there are no apologies or sorry in their customer service. Once you paid your initial deposit they will alter your hotel booking with some excuse. I paid for ground transfer for four persons but in Jeddah airport they sent a small car where I couldn't put my luggages in Car so, I had to carry bags on my lap in the front seat and one bag in the back seat so there were no space for my daughter. When I asked taxi driver why you give me small taxi, he said your agent said us. They gave me hotel voucher without confirmation number so my guest who arrived before me at makkah hotel had to stay another hotel when I called for confirmation code they answered me it's not their mistakes. When I arrived at Madina hotel. receptionist said one of my rooms booking was cancelled 2 weeks ago. Again I had to wait at the reception and called them for confirmation code fortunately it was afternoon in the UK time otherwise I would have been without room. I Asked them why you cancelled the booking similar answer it's not their mistakes. Finally I contacted for dates farm tour they said me It will be next day someone will contact with me but nobody called me two days rather I called many times to get the visit time. Last day morning I went to dates farm but at the farm they said agent didn't tell them about free ajwa dates for visitors. So I called them again but that time it was morning in the UK so they responded me late I left farm without dates they said me someone will give me dates before I leave. So I didn't buy any ajwa dates from Saudi at all. After arriving UK I called them for 5kg dates but they said it's not their fault I have to wait one month for dates. I talked to their manager who said me dates would be sent to my home address. I asked what day they will send it? No answer Now they don't reply my messages or call.

Fantastic experience: All I needed was some advice regarding some visa issues I was facing and Shahbaz helped me even though I am not a paying customer. May Allah reward them.

Negative experience: Totally disgusting service & lies by Shahbaz I have been waited 8 hours in a lobby of the hotel in Makkah December 22nd, 2023 after 12 hours long flight with my two little kids because Alhaq travels didn’t pay them even took all the payment from me in advance. Paid the hotel for first night again from my pocket which they refunded me next day after some deductions. Same thing happened with my old mother (On wheel chair) my brother and sister in Madina 2:30 A.m they kicked of from room because not paid to hotel by Alhaq travel.. On top on that it’s been more then a month waiting for my refund just £50.00 from them but still waiting they kept saying next week so bottom line is totally rubbish and waste of time. Request to people please don’t book any holidays from them better not to go if book from them.

Positive experience: A girl named Aniqa extended her services for arranging our Umrah trip. We found her very helpful, cooperative, extremely dedicated to her work and she very well catered to our preferences and requirements. We had a good experience with her.

Negative experience: I have had an awful experience, HONESTLY EVERYONE PLEASE AVOID!I don’t usually do reviews but this had to be done and I need to make awareness for this company. Very misleading. They have sent us to a complete different hotel when we arrived in madina. The guy first said one hotel was booked, so he went there and they said thats the wrong hotel, very misleading. I had to pay for two cabs because of their mistake. hotels in umrah was far from the haram. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Save your money and go to a more trusted company. Especially the brother called Zubair. Once they receive your payment they don’t actually care about you but before you pay they are so nice. The worse thing is they are not even giving us a penny of our money back apart from a credit note. Why would we ever use this company again.

Fantastic experience: I really wanted to go umrah with my father it was my dream this year it was last minute plans and aneeqa made my dream come true and fulfilled my dua she was really helpful and helped me get my tickets and my entire journey smoothly planned it all out was really patient with me. Honestly she gave the best customer service. I will remember her in my duas and if I decide to do Hajj I will for sure come back to her.

They respond promptly to any enquiries before and during my Umrah. This time the sales agent was Amna, she was very helpful and highly professional and a good communicator.
