Fantastic experience: My husband and I got married in Cyprus last week - from our first contact with Maria to our ceremony in Cyprus with our wedding coordinator Sally we felt at ease throughout. Sally was fab! Everyone who attended commented on how lovely she was also. We received a message shortly after arriving in Cyprus which reassured us and any questions we had were answered. We had the most perfect day and would highly recommend to anyone who would like to get married abroad with the help of people who know what they are doing! ☺️

Fantastic experience: So im just the average man in the north West of England, myself and my partner had a dream of getting married in Cyprus along side close family and friends. We shopped around through other companies and then fortunately enough we stumbled across perfect weddings. We enquired with a lovely woman named jade and right from the start she was calm, never pressured us and advised us no matter how many questions we had. We booked the olympic lagoon resort in paphos, cyprus. There was 26 adults and 4 children. We went for the luxury celebration package which included everything we wanted and more. Fast forward we got married on the 19th may at 15:30 and to say the day went perfect is an understatement. Our in resort holiday rep louise was an absolute saint and didnt once make us doubt our decision. She had everything planned and organised. Very polite and down to earth woman so from me and emily thankyou so much louise. Our photographer. If you want to get married in Cyprus and your after a photographer please use vangelis photography paphos. That man is an absolute gentle man, very funny and makes your day that bit more special. His pictures are absolutely mind blowing i will put some examples below. The hotel (olympic lagoon resort). Personally I thought the rooms weren't as good as what they should of been. The hotel is absolutely mind blowing but the rooms just arnt that. The gym facilities need improving as they offer a gym but there's less than 10 machines (3 of which were tredmills). They are the only 2 downsides ti this hotel. The staff cant do enough for you, the rooms are properly cleaned every day not like other hotels that just make your bed. They are constantly cleaning and jetwashing the outside to keep it clean. The food is possibly the best food I've experienced in a hotel EVER, and I've been to my fair share of hotels. There's soon much to type and not enough words but if your looking at booking a wedding. Please consider perfect weddings abroad. They literally do everything for you all you have to do is tell them what you want and to pay for it. Perfect weddings, louise in Cyprus and vangelis, from myself and the new emily murray. We thankyou from the bottom of our hearts for giving us the dream wedding we wanted. It's sad that we will never do this again because if we did I would choose you all again and again. Fantastic experience: One word to sum up our day "PERFECT"! We wouldn't change a single thing about our day. Everything that was included in our package was such good quality and the service we received in Cyprus was incredible. Our Wedding Co-ordinator, Antonia, was amazing! She couldn't have done anymore for us, she was always a phone call away, and once we arrived in Cyprus, she was there at a drop of a hat. Our photographer was brilliant, he made the photo's feel effortless, as he had us laughing and smiling the whole time. The video was beautiful, and a great way to look back on our day. The baker made the most delicious cake and biscuits, everyone enjoyed it! We could go on and on about our special day, but if you are considering getting married in Cyprus, do it! Fantastic experience: The whole process of booking and organising our wedding abroad was made so easy and stress free by the team at Perfect Weddings Abroad. With their help we decided to go to Las Vegas and it was beyond our highest hopes in every detail. The team at Bliss chapel were amazing and there was constant communication from PWA to check we had everything we needed. We had the best fun ever and wouldn’t change a thing. Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend this company enough. We always dreamed about getting married abroad, and they made this happen. We got married at Cameo Island in Zante and had our reception at Vazalis Beach It was such a magical day! From start to finish the company sorted everything for us and we’re always available to support us and answer our questions. My friends are all now wanting to get married abroad and my sister has now booked her wedding abroad with this company for 2026! The photos don’t do justice to how amazing our day was 18.06.34️

Fantastic experience: We honestly do not know where to start. We had a wedding planned and deposits paid for a UK wedding when we woke up one day and decided it wasn’t for us. From our very first phone call with the PWA team we knew they were the company to help us get Wed. They helped us narrow down countries and venues, find the perfect date and planned everything perfectly. Having the option of packages so you know exactly what you’re getting is amazing, we ended up upgrading our package 3 months before and the team sorted out all the extras that came with it. The legal aspect of getting married abroad is made so much easier with their check list and legal department who checked all our documents were correct. The UK team answering all of our questions and putting us at ease. We originally dealt with Freya who part way through left to go travelling! (We hope you’re having the best time) after this Claire has looked after us and has been awesome. The team helped up book our holiday to go along side our wedding, choosing hotels that were in a good distance of our venue. Once all the details were sorted, Jayne who is based in Cyprus took over and this lady BOSSED the whole thing. Wedding planning was not stressful, because this team made it so easy. Jane arranged all my transport request from our hotel to our venue. She listened and just dealt with everything. We could not have asked for more. When she realised we hadn’t thought about certain things…. Confetti!!!! She made sure we had what we needed on the day. Then there is the venue, in still can’t get over how beautiful Vasilias is. The team there were fantastic. The DJ Becky, had our dance floor filled all night! We still can’t get over our wedding. It was everything we dreamed of. All we can say is thank you so much to the whole PWA team. If you have read up to here and you’re still wondering if PWA are the people to help you get married abroad, they are!

Fantastic experience: When we was first looking to book our wedding abroad we was stuck on Perfect Weddings Abroad and another company. I can honestly say that picking Perfect Weddings Abroad was the best decision we made. Everyone from perfect weddings was so helpful in guiding us through the process , before we left and when we arrived in Cyprus. Fantastic experience: Perfect Weddings Abroad are exactly what they say! They choose the perfect location at the gorgeous Pestana Viking Hotel in Portugal. The wedding celebration package we choose was exceptional and worth every penny. We had so much fun on our wedding day and the co-ordinators were great and ensured our day went smoothly. Fantastic experience: Santorini - 20th June 2024 Our experience with perfect weddings abroad was second to none with the best price package we received as with all weddings the financial costs can become stressful however perfect weddings abroad made the whole thing easier having the flights, accommodation and of course the actual wedding package. Perfect weddings abroad’s services are un-matched, from there helpful ladies in the office, the online portal you can message / communicate with them on, the wedding website you can build, online invitations you can create and have sent out, guest lists and so on, all messages responded too promptly nothing is too much trouble. The ladies who work there are all so very helpful and polite and ready to answer any questions, Julie was the lady who mainly dealt with me and she was so lovely and answered my many questions ‍♀️ I then had the pleasure off meeting the lovely Eleni in Santorini she really was one of the most beautiful and kind hearted souls we ever had the pleasure of meeting Our wedding day really was something of a fairy tail, from start to finish everything was exactly how I was imagining it to be from arriving at the venue looking down at my husband and over at the beautiful scenery it was truly the happiest day of our lives and that was all down to perfect weddings abroad and their amazing team We have recommended them to so many couples in hope they eventually have the unreal experience we have received. Fantastic experience: Had a great experience booking our wedding in Lake Garda with PWA. Process was simple from the start and securing our wedding date and location well in advance was great. Contact from the Italian side was excellent, with good support through all the legal paperwork. Wedding coordinator in Malcesine - Isabella - was fantastic. Great support in the few days before the wedding sorting out last minute details and making excellent suggestions. Also ensured everything on the day ran smoothly.

Fantastic experience: We just got married in Sorrento Italy at the Cloisters and then Villa Antiche Mura. I don’t even know where to begin! We’ve just cried every day since that it’s over and how beautiful/ perfect it was. Our resort wedding planner Viola was an absolute boss! She had everything under control and made the whole time perfect! She got my vision absolutely spot on. I was extremely particular with what my vision was and as it was a vision in my head and not on any photos I was worried I might not be able to explain it and it could get lost in translation but honestly it’s like she just saw inside my head and made it happen. I made some adjustments to the package and the team were so helpful and accommodating with my requests. We then had the sunset cruise included in our package which we didn’t have any expectations for and had no idea what it actually was and then we had the absolute perfect evening we sailed around the coast and even went into a cave. The host put music on, gave us drinks/ snacks, fruit and we swam at sunset to our weddings songs it was honestly a dream! The best end to our holiday the night before we travelled home to fully talk and absorb the best 2 weeks of our lives. Thank you all for making this experience as easy and stress free as possible. My friends and family couldn’t believe how relaxed I was through all the planning it was just so easy to have a team plan every inch for you. It was perfect in every way. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for an easy, reliable and friendly wedding planner for an abroad wedding, Perfect weddings abroad is definitely the go to choice. They make sure you have options which are in your budget, very responsive and helpful. Melanie was our consultant, she was fantastic and dealt with our queries efficiently. We got married in Italy, June 2024 and it was incredible. The team out in Italy (Viola especially) worth their weight in gold. It was a fantastic day, nothing went wrong and the pictures we recorded afterwards were breathtaking. I would recommend perfect wedding abroad to anyone that wants an abroad wedding!

Fantastic experience: We had the best experience with Perfect Weddings from start to finish. Julie from the UK team was fantastic with getting our Italian wedding arranged along with all our flights and accommodation. Julie was patient and super helpful with all our asks. When it came to the Italian wedding planners they were equally fantastic. Viola met us in Sorrento and had everything planned to the finest detail. The whole team went above and beyond and we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic company! Everyone I spoke to was extremely helpful and patient, I had some health issues and they continued to support me, when we got there everything was planned out my co-ordinator in Cyprus Jayne Davis was fantastic and my day ran like a tight ship everyone had a fabulous time would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Such a shame our perfect day was tainted by the sheer lack of communication from PWA. The day was perfect but only because we organised EVERYTHING with the in-resort wedding planner, which we didn't even need PWA to source, we chose PWA so that we wouldn't have to take too much time out of our life to plan... we were very wrong. Like some other review say - communication is efficient and transparent up until monies have been paid, then they'll take 2 weeks to reply to emails, and when you call, no one in the office has a clue who you are or who you need to talk to. I lost access to the online portal a few months ago, I called to query it and was told it's nothing to worry about, we've paid everything we owe. I'm sure you can imagine my horror when whilst in Skiathos, we got a call saying we owe €550 CASH to our in-resort planner. The amount we were fine with, but weren't aware of this fee as we couldn't access the portal. This took all of the spending money we had left for the entire holiday and honeymoon, so we had to borrow cash from our wedding guests just to get by, it was so embarrassing and frustrating. I have emailed PWA about this, and in true form it's been over a week still with no response. I don't recommend this company to anyone, they're a scam and we have no clue what their fees cover seeing as we paid for EVERYTHING separately to their fees. We chose PWA because we were messed around by TUI, and had an expensive holiday booked with no wedding planner, if we had more time to research we would have skipped the middle man entirely. We feel very ripped off.

Fantastic experience: Wow! Where to even begin! Got married at the beautiful ST Elias gardens in cyprus a couple of weeks ago. When we originally booked, Maria smoothly sorted everything for us with no issues at all. As time went on we had reminder of things we needed to do so nothing was forgotten. We arrived in cyprus and the amazing Sally- in resort co- ordinator met with us and helped us at the town hall and then booked everything else for us, from the meal, the cars, flowers, photographer, suit pressing- everything. You are very lucky if you have her to plan your wedding, she couldn’t have done anymore for us, and made the whole experience so stress free for us! Fantastic experience: We had the most amazing day in Santorini thanks to the Heliotopos team. It was perfect from start to finish.

Negative experience: In all honesty. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. All nice and quick to answer queries at the start. Until you’ve paid your deposit. After that, good luck. I’ve never known a company to have such little working hours and have so much holiday! Got any jobs going? Asking for a friend…. With a few weeks to go, we had serious outstanding questions that needing answering. We’d been waiting for 6-7 months with continuous chasing. That being said. Once we landed in the country of the wedding. Jayne (overseas based) was outstanding and did so much for us. The day itself was amazing. However its a shame the UK side of this company spoiled alot of the excitement. Honest bits of advise for anyone looking for a wedding abroad. Speak with the venue directly. Get recommendations from them on a local wedding planner. (Probably be cheaper too). Pros - we got a wedding Cons - too many.

We got married in Sorrento Italy on 9.5.24, It was so easy to get in touch via phone and the portal and everyone we spoke to was so helpful and friendly :) our wedding truly was perfect from start to finish everything planned with such detail and all the stress taken away from us as the couple! Fantastic experience: Amazing wedding company! We couldn't have asked for more. We have just had our wedding in Cyprus, Sirines beach and everything was well thought out and planned. From the start Melanie was incredible with helping us chose our perfect location for wedding and holiday, she was honest, reliable and efficient always ensuring good communication. Thanks to all the team for always quickly responding to any questions we had and reassuring things were being done, giving us reminders of things that we needed to do in good time. Sally and Charlotte based in Cyprus were fabulous ensuring every detail of our wedding was met and more ❤️ Charlotte our wedding co ordinator we met with the day before the wedding, very friendly, easy to talk to and always on top of all our plans. She assisted us at the town hall, helped deliver the flowers in the morning and was there for our guests and us throughout the ceremony, before and even after the wedding still quickly responding and happy to help. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day...it was literally perfect! Every little detail to wedding decor by Emperatriz, Hair and make up for myself and bridesmaids was very impressed as we all have different hair textures from English to Afro carribean and mixed. Nothing was too much for the very experienced and skilled people. The photographer/videographer absolutely amazing we felt like celebs when we arrived as they stood waiting for us and clearly directed us and made everyone feel at ease. Anna - Our harpist was a beautiful addition and completed our ceremony as she played incredible music chosen by us. Nissaki staff were amazing very attentive and the food delicious! Dj- very good, helping us dance the night away! Overall, we give nothing but kind words and just wow! They helped take so much stress away with planning a wedding and every request was met with no issues. We 1000 percent recommend- we all had the most perfect day ❤️

Fantastic experience: I had first contacted PWA in December 2022 looking for a wedding venue for myself and my partner. Since then the team have been amazing and quick to respond to any queries we had. We decided to go with Coral Residence in Paphos and wow it was AMAZING! The UK team are very helpful and any questions you have are answered quickly, you could always ask for brochures and advice and they would be more than happy to help. You don’t actually start the wedding planning until 3 months before, but they are still happy to answer questions and send over anything you need. A massive shoutout to Louise who is part of the In resort team. She went above and beyond for us and from the moment we spoke with her we had great confidence that she would make this the best day possible. My whole family and friends spoke so highly of her and she was always there to support us throughout the day. So thank you so much Louise! Our photographer was Vangelis, he was incredible. He turned up the morning of the wedding and likes to make photos unique so they aren’t the same as others. He was fun and made my whole family feel comfortable. I recommend adding the sunset photos as they came out beautifully! I would recommend going with PWA, beforehand we read the bad reviews and the good to see what we will find. My advise is stay organised, if there is anything you can do prior like purchase dresses, invites etc get those done and plan how you would like your day. It may seem odd that the wedding planning starts 3 months before but I promise it was completely easy and the team will sort everything for you. Just keep a note of everything you want and update your wedding profile as the in resort team have access to this too.

Negative experience: Had the most terrible, stressful, exhausting experience with our planner Nadia Alexander-Khan who promised us the world and gave so many false promises, she sold us a dream but once we had paid the deposit she stopped returning our calls and was extremely difficult to get hold of for weeks at a time. Months later, after we realised everything was falling apart we put in a formal complaint to Helen Doylein (which in itself was incredibly difficult, they should have a better complaints system rather than having the customer chase continuously). Once Nadia found out about the complaint she was furious, rather than apologising for her incompetence she retaliated by accusing us of having relationship difficulties and taking it out on her- it was incredibly unprofessional. Nadia left the company soon after (or lost her job, who knows). Melissa took over and was far better but by this stage the damage had already been done and we were so frustrated and stressed. Fortunately with much support from our family and friends we were able to enjoy the day but it honestly was not worth the diabolical service and stress we went through. We both regret using this company. We have tried to block the experience out and hence are finally writing a review 2 years on (our wedding was in April 2022 in Pyrgos, Santorini). Avoid this company.

Fantastic experience: Would 100% recommend PWA from the moment we booked it went so smoothly. Communication was great and even helped us decide on the hotel which was the best! A special mention to the wedding planner in Cyprus Jayne who was absolutely fantastic communication was so so good and Jayne was there to answer all my questions and the day wouldn’t of gone aswell as it did with out her! Fantastic experience: Thank you perfect weddings from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day the most magical day. From start to finish you have been professional, friendly and by our side planning and coordinating our special day in Barbados. An unexpected postponement and extension of our honeymoon was no trouble at all. Fantastic experience: Perfect weddings abroad is exactly what we got. Why choose any other way to get married. Everything was perfect from that initial meeting with Melanie to help us pick our wedding venue. She was very informative and had lots of local knowledge and never put any pressure on us to make decisions there and then. She provided us with the information to make an informed decision. Melanie outlined the benefits of different locations so we got the best value for money. We choose Athena Beach in Paphos and Melanie arranged everything for the wedding and holiday for us and our guests. After booking our wedding it just took the stress out of the whole planning process and everything worked seemlessly. In the interim months the level of communication was great not too much but enough to keep you involved and seeing the process progressing. Your wedding profile was an excellent way to communicate with the perfect wedding abroad team and suppliers. It clear they only work with the best as everything for our wedding was easy to arrange an surpassed all expectations. When get into the final months they were able to make sure all of our legal documentation was ready for the big day. There's was always someone to give help and advice and no question was too much. Jane was our in resort wedding planner and couldn't have done enough for us from helping us with the legal side at town hall to explain everything about the day she really made us feel at ease. On our wedding day Jane kept everyone right and made sure the day flowed as expected without being intrusive. We can't thank Melanie and Jane enough for making our big day everything and more.

Fantastic experience: Me and my wife after having had to cancel our original UK wedding several times due to Covid decided to take a leap of faith and have our wedding abroad instead. We had a look around and after making some enquiries decided to book through Perfect Weddings Abroad, as their reviews were good and frankly seemed to know what they were talking about (which was more then some big travel companies that shall go unnamed!). Perfect Weddings from start to finish were amazing, they were informative, professional, found us the type of venues we’d been looking for and get it all arranged with no hassle. The week of the wedding our wedding coordinator couldn’t have done more for us and this continued on the wedding day itself, the staff at the Vasilias Nikoklis inn in Cyprus were amazing and the venue was beautiful. The only thing we would have changed had we had foresight is arrange to spend more time out there! If you’re planning on getting married abroad and like us wanted the added reassurance of a UK based company ensuring that everything was handled with care and consideration me and my wife would wholeheartedly recommend Perfect Wedding Abroad.

The team in Santorini were also incredibly diligent and was clear they were very experienced and loved what the did. Fantastic experience: Perfect weddings abroad were brilliant from the very start, I dealt with a few of the ladies, Melanie and Donna in particular, they were very accommodating and always got back in contact with me in a relatively short period of time. (I know they have been very busy) Our in resort wedding Planner Antonia was fabulous, went above and beyond to supply pictures and even a video of our venue. We got married at Cape Greco view point, our registrar told us that there hadn't been a wedding in 10 years at our venue which for me made it even more special, it was just perfect from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: I booked my wedding and holiday with Perfect Weddings Abroad and got married in Cyprus on the 06/09/2023. Melissa, Donna and Gemma were a great help including choosing my dream venue and answering any concerns that I had within the lead up of the wedding. The customer service was great and highly recommended to any future brides that want a stress free, perfect dream wedding. Positive experience: I found the initial process easy and booking the venue/flights easy. However this was overshadowed by the lack of contact from perfect weddings throughout the process and then not updating me with what was happening/how the process worked. They seemed to expect me to just know how it all worked when booking a holiday abroad but instead left me not in the know. It felt like they had got my custom and money and then completely left me. Nearer to the wedding the wedding planner got in touch via WhatsApp which was great! And from then on it was smooth and plain sailing. We had the most amazing wedding with Jane as our wedding planner in Cyprus but it’s a shame perfect weddings lacked in communication throughout the experience.

Negative experience: I've sent 2 enquiries to them and both times, they never responded or arranged a phone call with me despite telling them my availability. Edited this after: I'm so glad I gave these guys 1 stars because they're liars too. The reply below states that they attempted to call me on Saturday. I was inside with my phone on all of Saturday and they did not ring me once. I have my call log which proves it. In fact, what's hilarious is that I posted this review last night and they finally called me back today and left that response. You guys are such liars that it's actually pathetic. You could just apologise and own up that you could not even be organised enough to call me. Don't bother calling me again. We're not working together.

Negative experience: If you want to get married abroad, do it yourself! PWA are extremely difficult to work with, lots of 'no' responses and they come back with no suggestions! Asked for some recommendations and was told to just look on the website, which is rubbish by the way, old photos and outdated. Was chased to put a deposit down, and then they went radio silent. Days to respond to emails. Honestly, if you know how to use a computer you do not need to use PWA, they don't do anything out of the ordinary and if anything they just add to the stress. Find the venue abroad and deal with them directly - cheaper and easier!!!

Fantastic experience: Ktima Alassos Wedding Venue – 24.06.2023 We could not recommend booking a wedding through Perfect Weddings Abroad enough. A key factor for me was that I did not want to spend my evenings and weekends planning a wedding, calling suppliers and so on. This was therefore perfect for me as they took care of literally everything! We found a wedding venue in the UK, but after considering it more and more we started to look at other options and we are so glad we came across Perfect Weddings Abroad. Melanie was who we dealt with originally and she could not have been any more supportive. We gave her information about what we wanted and number of guests, and she sent through various options for us to consider – all of which showed she had listened to us, and she understood the type of wedding we wanted. Her knowledge was clear, and she gave us honest views on venues and even the hotels nearby. We spoke to Melanie quite a few times until we found the venue we wanted to book. Melanie provided us with all of the information we needed and helped us make the decision – it truly felt as though she was helping us and not trying to convince us of booking anything we weren’t sure of! Once we had booked, Melanie continued to help with all of our questions, provided everything we needed via the online portal, and no question or request was ever too much. Thank you, Melanie, for making that process so exciting and stress-free! Throughout the whole process, we were provided with endless support via the portal. Donna in particular answered my million questions – she always got back to me so quickly with everything I needed! Even after the wedding took place, she was in contact regarding videos, photos and so on. Décor and cake: we were put in contact with Debs at Cyprus Wedding Touches for our décor. The best bit for me was that I simply chose a theme and colour scheme, and they created it all for me! I did not have to spend hours choosing décor, which was a dream! Debs provided genuine advice on what would look best at the venue (which we didn’t see until two days before the wedding!). As we hadn’t seen the space, it was hard to know what to choose, so Debs’ advice was so helpful. The décor on the day was incredible and could not have been any more perfect. Jackie at Love Island Cakes was also so lovely, sending us images to ensure our cake was exactly how we wanted it. Thank you to Debs and Jackie! Louise – on-site wedding co-ordinator There are no words to explain how amazing Louise was! Louise supported with so many questions before we arrived and made us feel so relaxed and reassured about everything. We met Louise a couple of days before the wedding, and she came with us to the town hall and then to see the venue. She had planned everything to perfection and ensured our day was perfect. She helped with table plans, décor, booking all of our transport for the day, planned our timings to make sure it ran smoothly. On the day, Louise was there to help get me in my dress, get guests seated, plan where is best to have photos and so much more – literally nothing was too much to ask! Thank you so much, Louise – our day would not have been as perfect without your help. We had Zack Evangelou a saxophonist in the evening and he was insane – he got the party going and was a great live music option – everyone loved him. Marcos the DJ was also so good – he played all of the songs we asked for and took requests. Would highly recommend them both! The venue – if you are thinking about booking the Ktima Alassos Wedding Venue, do it!! The pictures are amazing, but these still do not do it justice! We could not believe the venue when we saw it for the first time and every guest said it was like a venue from a film. The views are just incredible as is the ceremony spot overlooking the sea. Fantastic experience: Our planner Anna in Sorrento was absolutely amazing. She ensured everything ran so smoothly and it really was perfection! We are so grateful to her. She kept in contact when we arrived in Italy and ran through every detail on the pre wedding meeting, meaning any worries we had were gone and we could then just relax and enjoy our wedding day. A massive thank you to Antonia, the wedding planner based in Cyprus. Antonia met with us once we arrived and confirmed details and even changed some things for us a few days prior to the ceremony. Antonia then met us at the town hall which made life easier as Antonia dealt with everything. Antonia then came to the hotel on the wedding day and made sure everything ran smoothly. Positive experience: The place we got married in Santorini was beautiful and intimate, and the wedding coordinator over there was great with communication and attention to detail. I did have one negative experience with PWA due to communication. We originally booked our wedding in Sept 2021 with Melanie to get married in June 2023, and didn't hear from them for a year which was to be expected, and Mel said they would be in touch Nov/Dec 22 to start the process. Although it got to the last day in January and nobody had emailed/called to chase final payment that was due in the middle of Feb. I ended up having to contact them and wanted to start getting the ball rolling with the finer details. Therefore it wasn't stress free as I hoped they would've been on the ball with that which was a bit disappointing, but didn't have a problem after that. Overall a good experience and very happy we got married abroad

Fantastic experience: Perfect weddings abroad really take the stress out of planning a wedding! I couldn't have asked for a better day, everything was perfect and went as planned! They kept me updated with any legislation changes and what paperwork changes I may need. They were always on the other end of the phone if needed and providing an in resort rep was so very helpful! I saw other brides on pages asking for advice and didn't know where to turn for information because they tried to arrange it all themselves but I didn't have to worry about that because it was all sorted for me. The wedding was even better than I had expected, I had an idea in my head of what I wanted and what I got was just even better than my vision. They really do take care of you, Louise in resort was amazing! She took us to the town hall to sort out all of our paperwork, she did most of the work and we sat and watched! She arranged transport there and back. She also came to our meeting with the resort wedding planner and they arranged our final touches together. She also comes to the wedding to make sure everything is going as it should. Thank you so much for arranging the most beautiful wedding for us PWA, we really couldn't have made it as perfect as what you did

Fantastic experience: could not recommend perfect weddings abroad enough! From starting our planning maria went above and beyond she listened to what we were wanting in a venue and sent different ones for us to pick from and then finally we choose vezalis beach in zante which was BEAUTIFUL. Frances and her team also were very helpful and always replied quickly with any queries and questions we had. All the meets went well and were very informative. Thankyou too everyone who helped with our day it's was magical and we loved every part of it!

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I'm disappointed overall. I didn’t feel like the PWA UK team had things in hand from the get-go, and I’m sad to say that this is still how I feel. The communication was difficult, the team took days at a time to get back to me, on items that were straightforward and time-critical and I often had to chase on multiple outstanding items. I had to do my own research for the legal docs as the process in Scotland is different and nobody on the team understood this, so lots of time was wasted requesting docs that don’t exist in Scotland. Luckily, we were able to hit the deadline and received our documentation two days before we flew out! The information about who everybody was at PWA and the role they played in the team was never clearly communicated, we had 3 contacts in the UK and 2 in Cyprus, I was assured one of them would be our on-site coordinator and she would have all the information, but when we arrived we had a different team member meet us, who hadn’t been involved in any of the email chains or information sharing. The recommended décor company was unable to help with confetti & lighting and were rude to me when telling me they were unable to help (I was hoping for a few strings of lights around the dancefloor, nothing crazy). I fed this back to PWA who didn’t seem bothered that this other company had been short and unhelpful. It also transpired that the table shape I went for (long rectangular) and the meal I had chosen (mezze) meant there was no room on the table for any of the decorations I had paid for. So, no candles, vases, flowers or foliage were included and instead were left in the box. I thought the whole point of working with a team that were had worked together before meant somebody would have advised me on this. Essentially, we threw some money down the drain there and had very plain tables. The table place settings were done incorrectly, putting everyone in the wrong seats, which would have been a huge issue as it put all the closest family members and the entire wedding party at the wrong end of the tables, furthest away from us. It meant that as the bride, I had to go and sort it all out just before people sat down. I was so organised with this, to try and ensure it didn’t happen. I had numbered both the seats and the tables and had provided a PPT slide with the names, as well as an Excel sheet with who everyone was and which table and seat number they should be at. The photographer was great at making sure we got photos with everyone and covered lots of different poses in the pre-ceremony getting ready and just after the ceremony. The major issue here though is that nobody mentioned that both the photographer and videographer would be leaving before the meal. If I had known this, I would have hired another photographer or paid to ask them to stay later and cover the speeches, the first dance and the dancing. It has meant that I didn’t even get a chance to ask a friend or family member to record the speeches, those moments are now lost forever, and I am honestly heartbroken about it. The DJ was great at getting the party started, although I had not realised that the party would start during the meal. We had put together a list of our favourite dancey songs for after the meal and they were all played during dinner! Luckily, most of our guests were in their 30s, as I don’t think the older family members particularly appreciated this. We are laid-back people but if you were looking for a nice, classy, romantic meal then you would have had a big shock as the neon lights and ‘Mambo No. 5’ begin at the salad course. He’s a request DJ and was great at reading the room, but it did mean there was quite a bit of chopping and changing, rather abruptly, between songs. He also played our first dance song incorrectly (didn't play the intro, which is the part we had choreographed) so that was also completely ruined. Essentially, I could have done a better job had I liaised with the hotel directly as relying on the PWA UK team meant there were lots of problems and key info missed. Disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Big shoutout to Maria at perfect weddings abroad, she organised us not only the perfect day but the perfect weddingmoon, with a 7 night all inclusive for Sandals. Prior to speaking with PWA we were set on going to Italy, but the expertise was clear from the outset when we discovered for our budget since it was just the two of us on a planned elopement that we could go further afield for the same cost. After sharing that we’d love to go to the Caribbean but expected it to be out of our price range, Maria worked up a selection of options in this area. She was knowledgeable, very responsive and answered all of our (many) questions. Maria took care of the booking process with ease and helped us liaise with the Wedding department at Sandals. It was clear she is used to helping many happy couples and has detailed knowledge of a variety of resorts and options meaning she was able to help recommend different options. Crucially, she took the time to get to know us personally and really showed her genuine care in organising our planned elopement. Sandals themselves were brilliant, really flexible when we got to St Lucia, the wedding coordinator was wonderful in particular. When we arrived we got a wedding cake taster session even though we’d chosen flavours already - they really couldn’t do enough to make us feel happy with our special day. It was great having the peace of mind that booking via PWA was ATOL protected and Maria was always only a phone call away. If you’re thinking of going abroad to get married and are on the fence I would say to just go for it. I would also highly recommend PWA - they are true experts, and more than that, they genuinely care that all goes to plan. They also probably know what you want even more than you do! Go with an open mind and you will be totally delighted.

Fantastic experience: Myself and Christopher got engaged in Positano on the Amalfi Coast in Italy and knew this is where we wanted to marry. Thank goodness I found Perfect Weddings Abroad to help me with our wedding arrangements. We were a Covid wedding and we had to postpone our wedding for twice over two years and thanks PWA the process was pain free and easy. Getting married in Italy can be complicated with all the formalities you have to jump through with the paperwork and therefore what we paid, was well worth the money to ensure that our wedding went as smoothly as possible. There was some aspects of our wedding which I wanted to plan and arrange myself and PWA were perfectly happy for me to do this. PWA were professional, extremely helpful, and always got back to my many queries quickly and efficiently. Rosaria, our resort PWA Rep, was absolutely amazing and thank goodness for her. Professional, helpful, extremely friendly, attention to detail, calming and everything you need to help your arrangements and day go smoothly. I cannot thank Rosaria enough. We married at the Positano Town Hall and the views were stunning as you can imagine on the Amalfi Coast. We even received a gift from the Town Hall which holds a proud place on our wall. We booked extras with PWA including flowers, buttons holes, and our flowers were stunning. I wasn't sure on my bouquet, and Rosaria went out of her way to visit the flourist to get some sample Roses for me which she personally showed me. Our Photographs, Bros Brothers, again perfect choice and Fabio was extremely professional and a very lovely man. He went the extra mile for us and we were so very happy with our photographs which he did for us. All in All, our wedding was in our eyes perfect and we couldn't have been happier. We have PWA to thank for this. We were so very pleased to have come across this company and booked them to arrange our wedding. If you are planning on getting married abroad, then we would highly recommend you require their services. The staff and everyone we dealt with made our journey easy and stress free and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff made it a pleasurable experience for us. Fantastic experience: Well what can we say about our fairytale wedding day in stunning sunny Sorrento...wow!!! We did not embark on this journey lightly and we did lots of research, well Karl did as I just looked at the pretty pictures and videos on YouTube! The UK based team were helpful in providing costings on various options and venues, as well as providing great nuggets of information which may be deal breakers on your big day! A wedding is not cheap and you want to ensure that your hard earned money is getting you the day you want and deserve! Once the decision was made, it was full on planning mode and the ideas were flowing. We had some bumps along the way with Covid but postponing for 14 months was the right thing to do and the team were really helpful in getting this sorted. We cannot thank Viola, our dedicated wedding coordinator in Sorrento, enough for her help and support! Nothing was ever too much for her and her knowledge was invaluable. Viola had everything we wanted and envisaged for our big day down to the last detail. Her organisational skills and friendly domena shone through via her messages and put us completely at ease before we even arrived! The prearranged meetings and venue viewings that Viola arranged ensured that they had every little detail we requested...as well as giving us the opportunity to fall in love with the venues for the first time. We chose Villa Fondi and Castore based on their locations and reviews of their fantastic views! Both are amazing venues in Sorrento, and we could not have asked for anything more! All our guests commented on how stunning the venues were and that the day was absolutely perfect! The food was exquisite and Bernardo and his team at Castore were extremely accommodating, especially when we decided we wanted sunset photos on the bridge and took everyone away for about 30/40 minutes between the first and second course. We honestly could not have been happier with the day and our photos...wow! We really did have a fairytale wedding in Sorrento!

From the UK team helping us pick the venue and advising us on the paperwork required, to Orla in Cyprus where no request was too much and she was always at the end of the phone to help sort things out. The day is self was just the best and everything went to plan, Orla was with us every minute it was a pleasure to have her as one of our witnesses. The photgraphy team, have gave us some fantastic memories in both our video and picture so much so that we eneded up purchaching all of the photo's as we just could decide on just 50. Fantastic experience: Where do I start…? After 2 years of being cancelled due to Covid it finally happened. Perfect Weddings Abroad couldn’t of been any better. All so friendly, liaising constantly, going out of the way with little touches and gave me the most perfect day I will never forget!

Fantastic experience: We booked our wedding at Relais Blu, Massa Lubrense, Italy through Perfect Weddings Abroad (PWA). There were so many highlights in our wedding journey together with Rosaria and the team, leading up to our magical day, but we wanted to mention a few key points. We booked with PWA after some research upfront in December 2018, looking at reviews on the experiences of other couples getting married abroad. We settled on the Amalfi Coast as our location, and we were thrilled to book Cloisters for our ceremony and Relais Blu as our reception venue. After a visit to the venues in May 2019, we decided to move the whole wedding to the magnificent Relais Blu – the place is utterly breath-taking. PWA UK helped us move the booking to one venue without any hassle – we finally had our dream wedding booked for July 2020. Then Covid hit in early 2020 and as lockdown in the UK and across the world continued, PWA (namely Melissa) kept us updated on the current state of the pandemic with regards to travel and how it would impact our eagerly anticipated day. Sadly, as we were crippled by the pandemic, we were required to cancel our wedding day. PWA helped us liaise with the venue and move our wedding day to another date in July 2021. The team made the rescheduling of the day so easy for us and limited any anxiety by taking ownership and shielding us from any unnecessary stress. As the pandemic unfolded, we had to postpone our wedding again to 2021. Having postponed our wedding twice now, Rosaria acted as an intermediary with the suppliers to ensure that we negotiated reasonable costs and took every effort to act in our best interests. Rosaria kept us hopeful that our wedding day would eventually arrive and just be perfect. The lead up to the wedding was incredibly smooth, highly organised and a real pleasure to work with Rosaria in organising the day. Rosaria was in constant contact with me and eased any moments of stress relating to the wedding day working towards the common goal of making our wedding unforgettable – which we together achieved. Meeting Rosaria finally on the home straight before the wedding was very emotional and a complete pleasure. We were given an itinerary in the days leading up to the wedding, each and every detail included, florists visit, photographer meeting, hair, makeup trials and the minute wedding venue plans for the day. Every detail of the day was covered. Rosaria was our font of local knowledge with regards to vendors, what worked and what didn’t, local restaurants, transport to name a few – she was just brilliant. From the Sunset Cruise arranged by PWA as a pre wedding treat included in our Celebration Package to helping us arrange pre wedding drinks at the Foreigners Club in Sorrento. Just amazing on every level! Finally, the big day arrived, and Rosaria was so incredibly organised and the day ran exactly to plan and even surpassed our hopes and expectations. The attention to detail that Rosaria and Viola had on each personal touch on the day was just phenomenal. We were so thrilled to have Rosaria and Viola as part of our wedding day. Also, a big thank you to Antonino and the team at Relais Blu, the best venue, amazing Michelin Star food, the drinks choices, the service, the hotel room, we could go on. The day was spectacular. The day was not only amazing for us, but our guests thought that the venue was fantastic, and they had the perfect day. The experience throughout the whole journey was easy, helpful and so incredibly warm and personal. Getting married abroad isn’t always easy to plan, but PWA made our lives so much easier and actually enabled us to enjoy the wedding planning stage. Throughout every discussion we had with PWA, they made us feel special, like they really hand on heart wanted us to have the best day – we never felt like just “another couple”. Rosaria and the team were beyond amazing, and Rosaria has a special place in our memories and our hearts. The experience and service from PWA was exceptional and completely faultless – we highly, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Where do I begin! My husband Ben and I got married in Zakynthos on 20th September 2022... WOW, I honestly don't know where to start. We had the most unforgettable day of our lives and it all began with speaking to Maria from Perfect Weddings Abroad. Having never married before, we had no idea where to begin, all we knew is that marrying in the UK wasn't for us. We came across perfect weddings abroad and right from the get go, I knew we wouldn't be looking anywhere else to find the right people to help plan our wedding. Maria was absolutely amazing with both of us, it felt like we knew her for years, always there to answer any questions day or night, even to call for a chit chat, she was so lovely, with never even a moment where we thought we were bothering her, she answered everything and even if she couldn't she found the answer within a few minutes & got back to us, thank you Maria for making us feel so comfortable throughout the process, we wont forget you! From the time of booking our wedding (having never been to the location before) to the time of us leaving to go to Zante, the entire team at the head office were fab, always updating us with paperwork processes, being on the end of the phone whenever we had a question.. they were amazing and I can honestly say to anyone who has ANY doubts at all about whether to book with them or not - BOOK, you really honestly will not regret it and there is literally no point in looking anywhere else. If anyone wants to get in touch with me to find out about our own experience.. please do! I would be more than happy to help. We planned our wedding in 7 months and the entire process was so easy and smooth with no worries or stresses (literally none). If we had questions that only our planners in resort could answer, the team at PWA would get in touch with them and they would there either on our own portal which we used to communicate or by text or phone, and even through our own personal wedding group on Facebook. I know I am raving about PWA, but that is only because it needs to be raved about... they are so great, friendly, professional and extremely good at what they do, it is really amazing. Our wedding planners in Greece were out of this world, so professional, all paperwork was so easy (it really is not that complicated to get married abroad), they literally took care of absolutely everything from a short and sweet meeting a few days before hand, to personally taking us to the town hall themselves, what this team do is incredible and a huge massive special mention needs to go to Francis, Tatiana, Roula and Mariena.. all of you (and the rest) were outstanding and it is because of you all that we had the most incredible day. Every inch and detail of our wedding was taken care of so well, our band, photographer, hair and make up, fireworks was unreal... it really did feel like a very magical dream! THANK YOU SO MUCH to all of you, I really cannot say it enough. We are so grateful and appreciate everything you do, PWA you are superstars!!!! I could go on forever talking about you all! Fantastic experience: We had the most incredibly special and breath taking wedding over in Vilamoura Portugal. 50 Guests, incredible food and drink, and absolutely mind blowing views - what more could you want for the perfect day?

Negative experience: Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! So-called "Perfect" Weddings Abroad will cause you more hassle than they are worth. They have a concrete belief that all weddings come as a one-size-fits-all. They will agree to work with you until the deposits are paid. Then it becomes a case of "we can't do that", "we can't do this". 13 months of wedding planning with them and not once did they offer any solutions when refusing to a particular request from us. They would just refuse and carry on as if our request meant nothing. Smoke and mirrors the whole way. 5 days before our wedding they drop a bomb on us that 20 of our 43 guests weren't paid for and we owed them further money. They left it to their on-the-ground coordinator to recoup the money. I might add here, "their" on-the-ground coordinator does not work for them and she and her team (Sharon and Martina) SAVED our wedding. I don't know where we'd be without them. We owe them everything. My advice to anyone planning a wedding, use "Perfect" Wedding's website to get abroad ideas but then look for people in the desired countries to organise the wedding. This company have NO idea of each country's requirements and their sole function in our wedding was to take absorbents amounts of money for a very poor quality service. Could not recommend this company any less.

Positive experience: After some tricky turns Cheradie perfected everything on the day. The nissi beach Hotel was lovely, great for weddings. Gemma has also made sure everything was tip top she's been so helpful regarding everything Anna marios assistant is wonderful and anything you need it's not a problem. Poppy the hair stylist is great. Overall I would say I was confused about the portal. It is easier to call up and then add documents in. Once you have an assigned advisor before The wedding you can email or call. Also make sure you check all your documents for legal dept are correct when sending. Overall I am happy and delighted with the service and friendly phone calls. Ask away they are all happy to help. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is The online portal and understanding it but that is from my end Paigel x

Fantastic experience: Lauren and Michael David 02.07.2022 After having to arrange our wedding 4 times due to the pandemic, we finally had our big day in July this year and it was even more spectacular than we could have ever imagined! The organisation from Perfect Weddings Abroad was brilliant, we felt reassured the whole time rearranging our plans and they ensured everything was just as we wanted it. Fantastic experience: I've always wanted a wedding Abroad but had no idea where to start. I contacted perfect weddings abroad and spoke to Maria who was amazing and walked me through everything. Unfortunately due to Covid-19, we've had to move the dates so much and ended up losing our initial venue, however, Maria made sure that the 2nd venue was just as perfect and that everything agreed in the first venue was honoured. Amazing people and definitely tolerated a bridezilla .

Fantastic experience: Trust the process is what I have to say! It was a drawn out wait for us to have our perfect wedding due to the unforseen Covid 19, however it was well worth the wait and we truly had the best experience. Our venues were handpicked by us and they were truly magnificent, I mean how many people get to say they got married on a private beach cove on a island, we had the most stunning reception, with views you only see in the magazines and everything come together so perfectly. We did opt for minimal natutal or white decorations to be able to enjoy the natural settings but the option we could of chosen from were vast. It was a little daunting being back in the uk and feeling like you aren't very prepared, apart from the wedding attire and rings they can organise everything. I did feel we would be missing something or maybe they wouldn't do it how I like, but this was all resolved during our meetings in resort and honestly they are such professionals I trusted every decision. We did get unfortunate news that the entertainment we choose had to cancel last minute which is a threat in any country you get married in, however the in resort team offered alternative entertainment which was then one of our many highlights. I think we can hand on heart say that this was the most enjoyable and perfect experience for our wedding. We both embraced, lived and loved every single moment. We trusted our wedding planner and her team and had the best results.

Fantastic experience: Planning a wedding abroad can be a daunting task, not knowing what to expect. However, we could not be happier with how our recent Wedding turned out. We were assigned Maria as our Wedding planner. She was very helpful from start to finish, although at first we were very unsure on where we wanted to go. The whole team we found to be helpful and quick to respond to queries putting your mind at ease. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Plan your Wedding abroad, you will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my partner were a bit sceptical about booking with any company for our wedding as a lot of them had mixed reviews. We decided to book with perfect weddings abroad in January 2021 and we are so glad we did. We booked the wedding & holiday through Maria - who was constantly on hand with any questions/queries we had. 3 months before the wedding we got appointed Louise as our wedding planner, Louise is absolutely amazing at her job and instantly put our minds at ease assisting us whenever she could and going above and beyond for myself and my husband. Louise made the legal side of the wedding go so smoothly when we arrived in Cyprus by prepping all our documents prior to us arriving (which we seen a few other company’s not do this- this caused a long wait at the town hall for other couples). Fantastic experience: Well we’re do I start, from the very beginning they were so helpful from the minute we booked our wedding to the very end I can’t fault anything one bit, the whole process is so easy you have everything you need on your online account and someone to answer your messages at any time. We got married on September 8th at Leonardo Cypria Bay in Paphos Cyprus, our wedding co ordinator Louise was unbelievable she really put us both at ease and guided us through everything, she went well out of her way to ensure we had the most perfect day, I will be forever grateful for everyone who participated in making our wedding day the best day of our lives. Fantastic experience: Book at wedding with this company in 2019 and had to reschedule twice due to covid and a family situation and the staff where brilliant, both Maria and Rui couldn’t do enough to make sure the day was perfect. Fantastic experience: We were married in Sorrento, Italy in August 2022 and I must say we have had a great experience with Perfect Weddings Abroad. We had a few initial calls to book our wedding package and then we were introduced to the local wedding planner, Antonella. Antonella was brilliant and she was so responsive. We had regular contact with Antonella over email to book the details for the day of our wedding and then closer to the wedding, we were communicating over WhatsApp and any questions we had, she was always there to answer. When we arrived in Sorrento, we met Antonella a few days before the wedding and she arranged for us to visit the florist and our wedding venues. She made the whole experience easier for us! She was so lovely and brought things to our attention - that we wouldn't even thought of! Antonella was great on the day, she ensured everything went to plan! All our guests said how lovely she was and how everything was so organised. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend getting married in this way enough! Julie, and everyone in between, was AMAZING and we had a hassle free, perfect wedding in the Dominican Republic. They sorted everything from accommodation, a family holiday, guests, paperwork to flowers, cake, personalised wedding co-ordination- there wasn’t a thing not thought of and not dealt with! Relived all of our stresses, and responded to any enquiry super fast and very effectively! The whole thing was perfect!

Positive experience: My girlfriend (now wife) used perfect wedding abroad to fulfill our dreams of getting married in Cyprus. Planning a wedding can be stressful but with Perfect wedding abroad a lot of the stress was taken away. The package we chose had everything being organised for us and all of our guests were contacted and book on flights and in a hotel with ease. All we had to sort was the rings, suits and dress and gifts. When we got to Cyprus we met with the wedding on the first day. A special mention to Louise who was amazing. As soon as met, straight to the town hall to do the legal side and then back to the hotel to talk us through the day. Special mention to Jayne atAthena beach for putting our minds at ease and putting on our perfect wedding. She deserves special recognition. We had the perfect day, could not fault anything, weather was perfect, the decorations for the ceremony was perfect, bbq was amazing and the party afterwards was great. The photographers were really good and professional. We couldn't of asked for a better day. We would like to go back to the hotel yearly for our anniversary.
