Negative experience: I live in the UK and was planning to travel to Germany in September. For this, I contacted GiA Travels in February for my Schengen visa application — that’s way in advance. They informed me that we could only apply for the visa within six months of the planned travel date. I went ahead and booked non-refundable EasyJet tickets for three people, including extra luggage, as we were going to meet family there. Since then, I had been regularly following up with their executives. They kept sending me screenshots claiming that no appointment slots were available in Edinburgh. Every time I asked for an update, the same “no slots available” screenshot was sent. A few weeks ago, the representative finally told me they were unable to secure an appointment and advised me to contact someone else. By then, it was too late to apply for a visa elsewhere. My tickets are non-refundable, and I now have to cancel my trip. I have lost not just money, but also my time and plans. This company has been highly incompetent and irresponsible, often failing to even reply to messages. If you need tickets, use platforms like Skyscanner instead of relying on such careless and unprofessional people. They should not be offering visa services at all. I can provide screenshots of all the messages and conversations with their staff as proof

Staffs are not approachable .I have booked flight tickets with them that was fine. Never book holiday pack with them .they have no value for customers money.

Let me share my wife’s dreadful experience with them, so you can see how poorly they handle their customers during travel disruptions. This agency’s negligence, lack of expertise, and outright indifference left my wife stranded at Manchester Airport in a critical situation. Here’s what happened: My wife had an flight to Kochi. Her journey started in Belfast, but the first flight was cancelled at the last minute. Naturally, I reached out to Gia Travels, hoping they would handle the disruption professionally and provide support. We asked one of their agents if we could take an alternate flight to Manchester to catch the next connection to Dubai, and the agent agreed to this. Based on this advice, we rebooked flights and paid for the changes, all while the agent reissued the tickets and assured us that everything was sorted. The next morning, my wife reached Manchester Airport to check in for her Dubai flight, only to be told at the Emirates counter that her ticket was invalid. The airline couldn’t access her booking, leaving her completely stranded and unable to proceed further. What followed was a nightmare. I repeatedly contacted Gia Travels for help, explaining that my wife was alone and stuck at the airport, but their agents were dismissive and unhelpful. They told me to contact the airline myself. Why should I, as a customer, have to deal directly with the airline when the travel agent’s job is to handle such issues? Their lack of accountability was appalling. I spent over five and a half hours on calls from 6:00 AM to 11:30 AM, running between Aer Lingus, Emirates and the agents of Gia Travels, trying to resolve the issue myself. Meanwhile, Gia Travels ignored my pleas for assistance. After countless unanswered calls, I finally reached the owner/director of the agency, Mr. Any Chacko, who had previously introduced himself as a travel agent. Even his involvement made no difference—he offered no solution and showed no urgency to help us. This entire ordeal could have been avoided if Gia Travels had competent staff who knew how to manage flight disruptions. Their inexperienced agent gave me incorrect advice, and their refusal to support me in resolving their own mistake is unacceptable. My wife was left stranded at Manchester Airport, in a foreign city, during a family emergency, all because Gia Travels couldn’t do their job. Not only did they fail us in the moment, but their response—or lack thereof—has destroyed my trust in them. I now realize that if you book with Gia Travels, you’re completely on your own if something goes wrong. They won’t help you, they won’t take responsibility, and they certainly won’t care about the stress and inconvenience you face as a result of their incompetence. If you value your time, peace of mind, and travel experience, I strongly urge you to avoid Gia Travels at all costs. Save yourself the frustration and stress by choosing a travel agency that actually cares about its customers or book by yourself. Gia Travels has shown me that they are not fit to operate in this industry.

Negative experience: The worst experience from a travels. I contacted them regarding a visa application and asked for details. They end up just by sending a checklist photo. And again I tried contacting them explaining my criteria and after a while they told they will contact me after 15 minutes and it’s been days no response from their end. The worst service ever received and no value on how to treat the customers.

Negative experience: Terrible Service Terrible Service – Unresponsive and Unreliable I booked a ticket through Gia Travels and received my tickets via email. Unfortunately, I was unable to access my email, so I contacted them to resend the tickets. Despite sending multiple messages and making several calls, they never responded or sent the tickets again. On the day of travel, I reached the airport and still had no access to my tickets. I called and messaged them again, but there was no response. This caused me significant stress and inconvenience. This level of service is completely unacceptable. I trusted them with my travel plans, and they failed me at a critical time. I would not recommend Gia travels to anyone looking for a reliable travel service.

Negative experience: Worst experience I received from gia travels .I have booked ticket to India from uk .I told them very clearly about waiting time .I didn't want to wait more than 4 hours in the airport,this was the only concern I raised and they accepted and send me the exact flight with 4 hours waiting time .Then finally they booked the ticket with 18 hours of waiting time this was my experience with gia travels. So I talk to them , they said that if you want to change the flight you need to pay penalty for that.

I paid for my tickets and at the airport I had to pay an additional fee for the baggage and the airport staff told me to claim thus through the agency I booked through as its their mistake for only allow 1 baggage of 32kg. I contacted Gia Travels again regarding this and asking for a refund. But they refused and blamed me saying it was like that on the ticket. I would not recommend this agency! They have ignored my messages on WhatsApp too. Rude staff as well. Lost my money.

Negative experience: Very poor service. I travelled with my wife and my 3 month old baby. But we faced lot of issues with the ticket of our baby. I contacted one of the staff in gia but she was very rude and didnt even help us. Even while returning also we had problem with our childs ticket because of that we almost missed our flight, they we contacted the staff nobody picked the call. We wiik never recommended this agency to any of my friends. It will be good if you improve your customer service
