Dorchester Travel

With a legacy of over 30 years serving the Dorset community, Dorchester Travel stands as a premier independent travel agency dedicated to crafting exceptional journeys. Since joining the esteemed Fred. Olsen Travel Group in 2015, the agency has successfully combined its traditional, family-owned values with enhanced buying power, providing customers with exclusive access to a vast array of holiday and cruise offers. Located conveniently on South Street, the team prides itself on offering a personalized experience that contrasts sharply with the packaged holidays typical of high street chains.

What truly sets Dorchester Travel apart is their uncompromising attention to detail and independence. This allows their expert advisors to research the entire travel market to curate bespoke itineraries that match your specific desires, often at the best possible price. The staff are not generic agents but specialists with deep knowledge of specific regions, including cruises, Australia & New Zealand, Canada, Mauritius, and South Africa. Whether you are planning a romantic wedding, a honeymoon, or a multi-generational adventure, their tailored service ensures every aspect of your trip is handled with precision and care.

Visitors to the shop benefit from face-to-face consultations with a friendly, experienced team led by Branch Manager Nigel Alexander. Their commitment to excellence is reflected in thousands of positive testimonials, where customers frequently praise the staff's patience, local expertise, and ability to manage complex travel logistics with ease. Protected by ABTA and ATOL, Dorchester Travel offers complete peace of mind, making them the ideal partner for planning everything from city breaks to once-in-a-lifetime worldwide adventures.
