Negative experience: These lot are a scammers. I booked a holiday with them a while a ago, a day before we were due to fly out they said the hotel we booked was no longer available and tried to push me on a 4star for the same money!!! So had to cancel a day before, and we all had our annual leave booked off !! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Negative experience: Tried calling 4 times to enquire about holidays. The phone just kept ringing, no reply, no option to leave a voicemail,either very very busy or just don't want the business.

Negative experience: I used this company a few years ago, they were great Now I've been searching for a holiday but their website has been broken for at least 6 months which to me is a red flag , most people book online these days yet this company say the website is being updated and not available therefore only able to take bookings on the phone , very suspicious that I was told I would only be able to make a payment by bank transfer too

Negative experience: I appreciate the current situation and skeleton staff but, I Tried to call several times trying to sort holiday out no one answers the phone or it goes to an automated message. Not good. I’ve booked a couple of times with them but not at all impressed right now. I’ve emailed texted called and even tried to contact threw Facebook but still no reply.

Negative experience: Very rude staff! Booked for 20 people and because of their attitude towards the booking we want to cancel and they're not letting cancel straight away so that we miss the 14 day cancellation deadline. They're not even speaking over the phone to sort some issues out. Issues; some passenger names are wrong, Separate families are being clumped into one room as capacity. Just two people have spoken to their staff! No one has been rude to them! They've taken the deposit over the phone but only deal with you now via email! Not even replying to emails! Spoke to both on the phone when taking deposit! Hazel told us she didn't want to speak over the phone! Still waiting for email replies! Booking on their terms for maximum profit!

Positive experience: I've used this company twice in the past to book a holiday, and the service was very good and documents sent out promptly for a last minute holiday. I attempted to use them last night to book a third holiday, but the agent I spoke to was very rude and patronising with quite a bad attitude, and gave me a quote much higher than what I was able to find myself in less than 5 minutes using lastminute.com However, that member of staff should not reflect the company itself as they are usually very good. I would recommend them.

Negative experience: The don't price mate as they promise I got a price from another agent and they claimed that they would not match it as I had booked direct with the hotel which I hadn't as the hotel don't issues prices until September of this year for May of next year. Very disappointed with the service I received

Fantastic experience: First time booking with purple travel and deffinately will not be the last, special thanks to Jack who not only listened to every requirement we had but done it without the typical sales talk, he also shown a great understanding of our needs and maintained a professional manor through out, nothing was to much hard work for him and he even went the extra mile to email the hotel we chose to stay with to make sure we could get rooms next to each other for me and my family, thank you once again Jack you made something that was quite stressful seem so simple, it was a pleasure doing business with you, you are a credit to your company, Kind regards, The Taylor Family.

Negative experience: Yet again called for a quote and the women who spoke to use so dry and rude. Customer service here has gone down hill and need to get willing people on their team or you will lose customers. Appalling service, twice is unacceptable. I will be booking elsewhere, and you have you lack lustre call agents to thank.

Fantastic experience: I booked our accommodation for Cuba through Purple Travel, and the staff on the phone were really helpful and gave great advice. Have just received some really affordable options for a trip to the Canaries too, and am planning to book soon - would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: You have to give a star to access and add a comment . If you like cockroaches around your food and when you ask for PurpleTravel to move you they don't then book with them The worst holiday agent ever .
