Negative experience: Booked and paid for flights that did not exist because the flight dates were changed but I was not informed. Disgusted and trying to get my money refunded. Having problems trying to contact them. A trip away absolutely ruined with all that entails.

Negative experience: We booked flights from Exeter to Newcastle return during October 2023. The flights did not exist because this travel agent got the dates wrong. We are now trying to get our money back. Needless to say you don’t seem able to talk to someone on the phone.

Negative experience: Do not use this company They only sell the flights, seats or bags not included It will cost you a lot of money on the check-in Avoid the scammers

Negative experience: awful company! I was booking a flight with them for a certain date which they had, paid for it only to find out the date had changed. Tried ringing in morning to cancel it but didn't get though so email them only to be told" due to travel with TUI who are a non-refundable airline" which is rubbish as I have spoken to TUI and they have said they would refund me.

Fantastic experience: Booked two holidays through Airport Direct Travel now, one to Cyprus and one to Italy. It has been a great, easy experience. Never had to contact their customer support as the holidays went perfectly

Negative experience: Please be aware, my advice to anyone, is, do not use this company. Having booked to travel on a TUI flight in June and having had no contact from Airport Direct Travel (ADT) one week before departure, we contacted them and they advised that the flight had been cancelled due to the Covid19 outbreak. We were fully prepared for this and simply asked if our payment could be refunded, this was on 12th June. The operator said that all TUI customers would get a FULL refund and that they had already applied for ours and we would receive it within 28 days. On the 12th July, again having heard nothing, we chased and the operator said, 'Oh I think your refund came in today, let me check with accounts and I will call back'. Having not received a response we chased again. The operator said, yes it's in, and will be with you in 5 to 10 days. 2 weeks pass and still no refund. On chasing again, we were told, Oh I'm sorry, we got it wrong, that was the Voucher and we have had to apply for that to be made into a refund. We've already applied for it and will be in within the next 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, still no money. Further delays followed, more excuses including TUI are having problems processing it because you had baggage as an extra, resulted in me getting 80% repaid and 2 further promises for the balance. Now today, 8th October, 4 months later, I have finally received the balance owing. I have a friend who booked direct with TUI and received a full refund, before his departure date. Please tell anyone considering using this company to beware. No wonder they rate so poorly.

Negative experience: Airport Direct totally lack integrity. They took money for two return flights to Europe in March 2020 and when Covid 19 forced borders to close and the Ryanair flights to be cancelled they failed to assist in any way - choosing to blame Ryanair and doing nothing to assist in resolution. Countless emails have been sent, to include imploring for assistance in approaching Ryanair to claim the refund legally due. Airport Direct simply repeated they had applied for the refund and I would be reimbursed. We are now approaching August 2020, 5 months later and apparently this agency has no concern for customers who paid in good faith and may be suffering their own unemployment or hardship. As a travel agent they reap the benefits of profit but put customers at the back of the queue rather than give them the refunds they are overdue during a crisis. No business should be allowed to treat the public in such a crass way as these people have treated us. The same admin assistants reply to emails and have done nothing to update or advise us for weeks. Do not ever book with this firm....check when you book a flight during an online search that there is a reputable third party involved and not this one. I intend to continue to highlight this companies failings publicly and advise anyone unfortunate enough to be left out of pocket to claim money back from their credit card provider. Airport Direct cannot dispute the chargeback as they have neglected their responsibilities in general.

Negative experience: Total Blaggers .....beware they only goal is to con unsuspecting holiday family and friends.... Shame on them .
