Negative experience: This company keeps on sending emails despite me subscribing - so they are scamming me - never want to do business with a firm like that
Negative experience: They do not reply to emails. I purchased a voucher and the venue told me that is was so popular they had extended it for another month. The voucher become invalid by the original date and I have emailed Travelzoo three times to ask why this wasn’t extended and could I have a refund. The month of May is not convenient. No reply. I an utterly disappointed at this lack of customer service. I have since called Travelzoo and spoke to a lady named Yvonne who was very nice. However after Yvonne helps I am no better off and the hotel restaurant in question has still not returned my or Yvonne’s communications. Disappointed.
Negative experience: Wow.. what can I say. I had the most terrifying experience on Friday night, speaking to no less than 3 different companies from the Travelzoo website, Travelodeal, Plan my Luxe and Broadway travel, trying to book a last minute all inclusive holiday. All 3 companies used aggressive selling tactics, shouting and bullying on the phone. Clarified all the details, took my deposit and then said the deal wasn’t available and would cost nearly twice as much, every time. Beware they are all Indian call centres paid to scam you. I’ve been using Travelzoo for years, when did they start advertising con artists and scammers? .. shame on you Travelzoo!!
Negative experience: Please be aware that this company allow 3rd party companies who are not reputable to advertise on their site and as such if things go wrong (as our trips did twice) will do nothing to help you. If it sounds to good to be true then it always is. Never will i use this company again.
Negative experience: I used Travelzoo to book a deal which was on their weekly Top 20 in October 2022 (Travelodeal). We had issues from day one including the transfers that did not pick us up. We were sold a completely misrepresented holiday and no aspect was as described or anything included in the advertised deal, all the facilities were closed, the hotel had no staff, no Covid 19 precautions, the hotel was far from an acceptable and clean standard. We had no rep in resort or contact details. We could do nothing until our return luckily only 7 days. Travelzoo will not accept that the company they are promoting charged us unauthorised admin fees as well as deliberately recording our credit card details. I have sent in excess of 100 emails as well as unprecedented amount of telephone calls before our departure. After being a customer of Travelzoo for many years I would categorically never use or recommend them again in the future. I contacted the CEO at Travelzoo and to say I do not think I have ever dealt with such an ignorant, unpleasant and unprofessional individual and seem to care very little about its customers or subsequent complaints.
Negative experience: THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS! Do not trust this Travelzoo, they take money from me. That l can booked a flight From London to Lagos Nigeria and coming back Lagos to London. They charge me per Adult £502.00 GBP. They Dupe me on my Debit card Ask me to say my passcode four times and they charged me £350 X 4 = £1400.00. They charge me more than the money they ask me to pay. Without giving me any Ticket. I call so many times they didn't pick my call. They don't return back my money.
Negative experience: ⚠️IF YOUR THINKING OF BUYING HERE PLEASE DONT THESE REVIEWS ARE FAKE THEY'RE SCAM ARTISTS ⚠️ Worst thing to ever exist wanting to buy tickets to go Pakistan first price was 2k then price goes down to 1.7k bcuz of 'new customer service' then we pay 1.7k which goes to a Majjid Al fattium (whoes dead and was a emeriti billionaire) then they take a further 400 out then a further 79.96 pounds out which is oddly specific so we blocked our cards and they said 'its due to inflation and seat prices changing' so we try to sort it out to get the tickets but the absolute scan artists have blocked my 5 phones THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO BLOCK 5 PHONES so now we are getting our money back via bank And maybe take it further

Fantastic experience: Bought several deals with them (Prague, Oxford, Spa day). Always had a good service and good quality for the price paid
Negative experience: It is the worst travel agent ever!! Their deal have a lot of hidden charge when you actually have to pay when you get there. Please be careful. I got a package deal to Portugal city break from their website, later I checked the hotel price and easyjet price directly on the website, it is much cheaper directly booking than through Travelzoo's package, and we have to pay 15 eur per day extra for the hotel fee!!! Another example, someone get me a gift to boisdale restaurant canary wharf, it looks cheap on their website £120, but i have to pay around £80 for small glass of drink and service fee is 13.5% based on the total price!! The staff is so rude and the deal you get have so many limitation. Never Never choose TravelZoo, their deal is not so good at all.Plus be careful about their T&C, because you might end up with no refund. Zero star.
