TUI Holiday Store

Fantastic experience: I visited the TUI store on Saturday and was served by a lovely member of staff called Jenny, she was super helpful in deciding a holiday for me and my friend as well as providing excellent service for us both. Would recommend anyone who is planning on booking a holiday to visit this store and ask for Jenny.

Fantastic experience: Recently booked a 3 week trip to Texas, Oklahoma and Richmond Virginia at TUI in Stockport. Initially everything went well, and thanks to the experience of Jenny the flight costs were within acceptable limits. The problem occured when I got to Manchester Airport, and when I attempted to check in it became apparent that someone in the US Immigration system had failed to electronically link my ESTAS approval to enter the US to my passport, and as a result I was denied boarding. I returned to TUI to seek advice from Jenny, and initially ended up having to pay out another £2500 for another flight from Manchester to Heathrow, and from there to Dallas Fort Worth.....I couldn't cancel as this trip to visit a long term online friend had been being talked about for 13 years, and there is NO way that I was going to let her down! About an hour or so later, Jenny called me back with some mindblowingly amazing news! After I'd left Jenny had been back in contact with the airline again, spoken to someone else, and the airline had agreed to re-schedule my original ticket and only charge a small admin fee! The dedication, knowledge and professionalism demonstrated by Jenny is unsurpassed by anyone that I've ever encountered in a customer care role. Thanks to the pure awesomness of Jenny, I was able to enjoy an amazing holiday, the memories of which will stay with me until I die. The other result was that Texas was saved from severe flooding caused by the tears of April, who would have been devastated IF I had cancelled! Massive Thank You Jenny. You really are amazing, and you've made myself and April very happy people! :D

Fantastic experience: Super friendly staff. As there were people waiting in front of me, the kind lady at reception, Jenny Holland, took my number and text me when a travel agent was free, leaving me to do some shopping instead of waiting in the shop. I was attended to by Rita Silva who was super helpful and explained everything to me about the cruise I wanted to book. She was kind and answered all the questions I and my children had. Brilliant serve, reassuring that there are still travel agents to book holidays with rather than doing it all online, where you can ask questions and get advice. Thank you TUI stockport.

Fantastic experience: We recently spoke to Hannah about a resort we had seen on the TUI website. She was able to give us great advice and was very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend speaking with Hannah if you are going into store.

Negative experience: Their is one lady there sits at the back desk on the right. She is the most arrogant person you will ever meet .if she doesn't like the look of you she isn't helping you. And she will put a note on your account to make sure you don't get help. Won't be booking with Tui again

Fantastic experience: The service in TUI shop in Stockport is a very calm and quiet space with multiple staff that all have very different qualities. Jenni and Laura are the two special humans in this store that I can connect with and will always help no matter what problem I’m facing. I feel extremely comfortable around both Jenni and Laura which is why I will only see Jenni and Laura. They are patient, understanding and accepting of the diversity that humans face which makes it so easy to talk to them both as I struggle with communication but they really try to work out what it is I mean.

Fantastic experience: Tui wrote to let us know that the hotel we had booked for a January holiday had been downgraded from 4 to 3 stars. There were options to choose another hotel. Rianne was really helpful and knowledgeable. She talked through the different hotels. All sorted now. Very pleased with the service she gave us.

Negative experience: Disgusting customer service. Called in yesterday to ask a question regarding my upcoming holiday, was left stood at the front for around 10 minutes before I eventually walked out, not once did one member of the three staff come over to greet me and tell me they wouldn’t be long nor even acknowledge me standing there. One was on the phone at the back and even after finishing on the phone she just went and sat back at her desk, at the desk at the front right near where I was stood there were TWO women helping a customer and not one of them even bothered to come over to me for even two seconds. I honestly don’t know how all three members of staff in a shop can be so rude. I walked out because I got fed up of waiting and then returned around 30 minutes later and again the same treatment - left standing there again nobody bothering to try and help me. Absolutely disgusting service from the women in the Stockport store after me spending in the region of 5k on a holiday with tui.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend TUI Stockport any more. We headed in on bank holiday Monday to book a family holiday. We weren’t set on a destination, but it needed to be somewhere gay-friendly for our family with two mums! The team were so understanding and empathetic towards the realisation that we had to be careful with the destination we chose. As we were looking for holidays in Spain, our advisor, Roxanne found an amazing deal in the Dominican Republic for nearly the same price. We couldn’t believe it. Our 9-year-old loves to snorkel so I have dreamed of taking her to the Caribbean to see animals I have been lucky enough to see before. Roxanne was extremely patient with how picky we were and very very good at what she did. It surprised us that she had only been a travel agent for 6 months. As someone who has always booked holidays online (and never with TUI) I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Fantastic experience and we’re looking forward to our amazing holiday. Thanks to the whole team for making it a nice experience.

Fantastic experience: Went in this morning after our holiday was cancelled yesterday morning, all the staff were amazing, even thought it was busy due to cancellations and uncertainty all of them were great! Big shout out to Claire Knight (from the Ashton branch) who helped us find an amazing deal after spending 2+ hours with the 4 of us! She’s a credit to the team! She most definitely crossed the T’s, dotted the I and put the 4 of us in the middle! thank you guys!

Fantastic experience: Great experience today. Spoken to Jo ( I do apologies if I got wrong name) despite people being angry over the holiday cancellations staff were calm and professional. One of the staff Laura was working on her day off because a lots of cancellations.

Fantastic experience: After a very bad experience with tui I got through to Hayley at Stockport office when phoning the customer service number who was very helpful and efficient. She sent me the paperwork needed in less than 5 minutes which my local tui who I booked my holiday with and also head office couldn't bother doing in 4 weeks of continuous emails and calls. Shame other tui staff weren't all like Hayley!
