Fantastic experience: Such a great service. We were very late booking a taxi and at a really busy time with no signal. A driver from Durham Taxis was so helpful, he was busy and already called for a job but still gave me his mobile hotspot to book and pay for another taxi to come collect us. Very kind and we were so grateful for their generosity

Fantastic experience: Amazing service. Had stupidly left it til Saturday night to book a taxi for Sun morning but these guys helped me out no problem. I didn't get the driver's name but he had a grey volvo. Arrived early, looked after my suitcase, chatted in the car and had me dropped off at the station in plenty of time for my train. Reasonable fair for a Sunday too. Thank you so much. Can highly recommend. Will be back.

Fantastic experience: I always use Durham City Taxis - their booking website is great, the drivers are always friendly and helpful, and understand the shape people are in when they need a taxi, being discrete and efficient. Best in the area, and it’s worth every penny. (Special mention for Mr. Imran who picked me up on my last booking - excellent!)

Fantastic experience: Always apprehensive about using a taxi firm for the first time but found these guys to be completely professional. Got a text 15 minutes before pick up detailing the driver who found my house which isn't easy. Can fully recommend and will be using again.

Positive experience: Service great. Professional and attentive driver. But at 35 pound it was a bit more than I usually pay for booked ride with one luggage item. Usually pay 30. But all other aspects fine.

He delivered the service right on time, as we stopped in front of the station, and waited to ensure everyone was comfortable and settled. His kindness and care didn't end there; he patiently waited until he made sure we were all fine. The experience was delightful, considering we were five students with our belongings, yet the price was surprisingly reasonable for the service we received. Several other Durham taxi companies refused to pick up, and have previously just not turned up at an agreed time - glad to finally find a good Durham based service

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service when attending a concert in Sunderland. Agreed the price in advance, driver arrived exactly when he said & agreed where he’d pick us up after the gig. Again was exactly where he said he’d be and waited patiently for us when the crowds held us up. Kept in touch at all times, just amazing when you’re a bit nervous in a strange city about how to get home with kids. Hugely recommend!
