Positive experience: I have been looking forward so much to this holiday …. Everything has gone smoothly until I started to ask some detail to be confirmed. My money has been paid. I know feel that every detail from late checkout ( which is the latest payment Kenwood can’t find ) to confirming the bed configuration is just a hassle … emails back wards and forwards. It’s exhausting.Yes my flights were changed too. I do believe they are confirmed thou. As I have been able to independently book the seats. Such a shame that the business does not seem to do detail. Could not even convince me that there will be visa offices open to buy visas as we arrive in the middle of the night. Can’t buy on line . Let’s hope in a few weeks I am not back writing that the holiday was not good. Especially as I have recommended Kenwood travel pre sales to lots of people.

Negative experience: Abysmal communication, incorrect information and very unreliable. My partner had booked a holiday through Kenwood Travel to 3 different destinations, there have been a lot of changes which have been decently dealt with. However, we are now due to travel in less than a week and we have still not received an itinerary or any flight details which have been requested multiple times, the latest being 2 days ago. How can we prepare for a holiday, arrange transport to and from the airport without knowing when our flights are? Surely it doesn't take over 2 days to send an itinerary over or provide an update? My partner has had to contact them yet again, and this issue is still unresolved. Speaking of which, when we received the last itinerary (before changes), I couldn't find the flight details online with the flight numbers and times they'd provided. My partner had to contact them again for them to tell us the flights had changed, how would we have known if I hadn't checked? That is a very basic customer service expectation, so the fact this wasn't provided clearly proves their incompetence. We are extremely disappointed with this service. My partner ended up cancelling one of the destinations and was told we'd receive a refund within 7 days. It's now been over 7 days. Do I need to say more? The other reviews are definitely correct in saying that once they have your money they do not care, they become extremely rude and fob you off. Their service does not meet expectations and we are both extremely unhappy with the lack of support and information, our very basic questions are not being answered. After reading other reviews, I am apprehensive that other things will go wrong such as the transport and hotels, and feel as though I will have to contact these companies myself just to confirm the bookings. Disappointed and will not be using Kenwood Travel again.

Negative experience: My husband had booked a very expensive holiday for big birthday as a surprise! Was really looking forward to it, until the day of departure, originally unknown to me the flights were changed due to the airline changing which my husband paid extra for, to then the day of departure, flight delayed from LHR, with a connection from DXB, we just about made a connection for this flight with 2 young kids may I add, get on board to be advised there is another slight delay, kids are shattered and it’s 3:20am!!! Then to find out the flight had a mechanical issue and we were after an hour on a plane with no ac, no water asked to leave the flight, the next flight was then at 08:00am!!! Arrived Male eventually, to be told we have missed the sea plane and had to wait another 4hours!! Missed a whole day of our first day holiday, so we get in touch with Kenwood, and surprise surprise it’s been 2-3 days between them and Emirates squabbling over giving us an extra day here that we have lost! Which originally Emirates agreed to! Now both companies and fobbing us off back and forth saying we need to contact the other company, kenwood asking as to pay another £2000 for the extra day, Emirates can’t even Get their customer care team in order! Has totally ruined my experience, we had excursions booked which we missed day 1 and now my husband has missed out on the last couple of days ringing both parties to still no one actually doing something! Don’t bother booking here, someone else’s comment here I saw about once they have your money they are not interested in helping you! Nothing sufficient from yourselves Kenwood absolute disappoint and thanks for ruining what was meant to be a beautiful holiday for me and my family!!!!! So annoyed!!!

Fantastic experience: Booked Abu Dhabi with Zeb. Great experience, quick, easy and advised of different flights and great recommendations made. Took Zeb opinions and had one of the best holidays I have ever had. Even when I gave Zeb some grief, he remained polite and ensuring. Negative experience: Currently in Mexico at Dreams Resort & Spa who Kenwood advertised and sold to me as a 5 star hotel to on arrival find it to only be 4 diamond accredited and not 5 star. Kenwood response so far is I need to pay more money if I want to move hotels!! I’ve already paid £17,500 and they want me to pay another £10,500! Beware after they take your money they do not help you. Photo evidence of this hotel being a 4 diamond rating! I’m not the liar, Kenwood is!

Fantastic experience: The holiday booking, including a wedding was very easy. Seamless and the hotel, wedding package, flights and transfers were all as promised. We asked for an amendment in our holiday and no one got back to us, so we just stuck with the original plan. After raising this, I was contacted to look into it, which goes a long way. More importantly, we got sick abroad. We needed to change our flights and they made this very easy for us. Took the leg work out, which was a god send when we were very stressed. I even received a phone call once we arrived back in the UK to ask after our son, and how he was doing. They are also providing us some documentation to aid our claim with the insurance company.

Negative experience: We have used Kenwood travel for years, and I’ve sent family members and friends their way on many occasions. Sadly, this time will be our last booking with them. I booked a trip to Abu Dhabi for this coming March ‘24, a few months ago I added a trip to the Maldives to follow. The holiday came in just below £10,000. I went back to Kenwood to see if we could add an extra day in the Maldives and reduce one day in Abu Dhabi. I was given a price but wasn’t impressed with the extremely high admin fee for these changes (amazing how there wasn’t one when it came to them increasing out holiday). After receiving the quote I then made contact with the advisor Ali via the telephone, who I’d been dealing with previously. She seemed annoyed that I’d come back to make another change to our booking , and told me how busy they all are and how much work they have to do to change this. Funny how they can be so nice and kind when they are making an extra £6000 but not when it comes to a small change that makes them soooo much more work. I made a complaint via their customer service team and spoke with a manager who advised they would reduce the admin fees down. I advised him to go ahead with the change which should have cost us £475. I then chased Ali twice to see if this had been changed and she then came back to me to say that the price had now gone up to £849. I’d given them the go ahead when the lower price was in place but their lack of communication and response meant this had ‘apparently’ increased. In real terms this should be their responsibility to cover, and not mine. I’d done my part. Very disappointing and at a time we should feel excited about this trip, this experience has put a huge downer on it. I will not be using Kenwood again in future and I will be advising others not to go their way. It’s such a shame because our previous relationship was great and this had ruined it for us.

Negative experience: I have recently booked a stay with Kenwood travel to Ras al Khaimah. When I booked I opted for the dine around all inclusive- it stated on the website that you could use the a la carte restaurants. I phoned to confirm this and the advisor confirmed this was correct. I arrived to find a very limited set menu- which was NOT stated on the website or by the advisor. I have complained to the company who have been very unhelpful in their response and resolution. I feel that they have mis- sold this product knowing that people would not pay an extra £1000 for a set menu! They claim they could not add the information online (funny how they can for the new package though!) Also, there are many reviews on trip advisor with the same complaint- proving their incompetence to give the correct information.

Negative experience: Poor customer service. Spoke to Ali, was given a quote and emailed it over then to be told the same quote couldn’t be honoured when trying to pay for it 30 mins later. Rude and very unprofessional.

Negative experience: Previously good service, terrible now. After ~15 hours of travelling, we finally arrived at our destination, only to not be met by a driver which we had arranged through Kenwood. I was informed it was arranged with the hotel. Thankfully Shangri-La had a stand in the airport to investigate and identified that Kenwood had not arranged or confirmed it with them. Had to pay £150 extra to arrange a one way transfer upon my arrival, but had to be done out of necessity for the family. Kenwood could not be contacted and were of no use or help on the day. Even when informed of the issue, they weren’t particularly apologetic and were very slow to address it as well as my return transfer. They identified that it was their shortcoming as to why it was not arranged, but did not pick this up in advance and address it. Pathetic service and follow-up care which led me to asking for a complete refund and making my own arrangements. Wasted 2 hours of my time upon arrival, plus multiple back and forth contact over a few days while away.

Negative experience: Called to ask about a Maldives holiday for 2024, unfortunately they have not released prices yet, but the attitude of the travel consultant was extremely dismissive, and her answer to my question as to when they may be releasing the prices, her answer was and I quote '''ITS A PIECE OF STRING THING;;UNQUOTE, NO THANKYOU FOR CALLING KENWOOD TRAVEL, ,,, so they will not be getting my business, they may be competitive in pricing , but sadly lack any decent level of customer service, so you get what you pay for.

Negative experience: Disappointing experience. Couldn’t give me the holiday that was advertised on their site. Paid deposit and was abruptly hung up on this morning because I chose not to continue with their service. I called the agent back and they proceeded to gaslight me. I wouldn’t book with this company again after a not so good first experience. The same holiday is still being shown on their site even though ‘unavailable’. I would definitely book elsewhere.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible service from Kenwood Travel. The travel agent booked our holiday and deposit was paid. Sadly we’ve had some not nice news and wanted to delay our booking. Which in itself is not a problem. But the agent, well what can I say. Rude, cold, disengaged and quite possibly one of the most terrible levels of customer service I have ever received. I agree with the other reviewers- just want your money. Don’t give it to them. Book elsewhere.

Positive experience: For many years have used the excellent services of Kenwood Travel, without a hitch. Then this years holiday started off terribly with the wrong room type given to us for the first few days, two single beds rather than a double, for our special holiday. Despite sending a photo of the single bed size to Kenwood they was no sincere apology or effort extended to help us. It almost ruined the holiday and has left a lingering sadness to the experience. Time to move on to another provider....

Negative experience: In the event of my mother passing away, I informed Kenwood regarding the £2000 deposit mum had paid, and that the booking isn’t until 5th Feb 2024 (7 months away so plenty of time for them to fill the booking). Kenwood’s response was, no refund it’s our policy. No compassion or consideration of my father, just money grabbers. I have absolutely no words. Just steer clear of this company.

Fantastic experience: I came across Kenwood Travel after a holiday I was intending to book with TUI sold out. For the same hotel, I managed to get a better room, better airline and private transfer with Kenwood Travel at a lower rate than the original package I found on TUI. I booked with Kenwood 11 months in advance, and all was smooth sailing when the holiday arrived. I definitely recommend giving Kenwood a try!

Fantastic experience: Excellent holiday all arranged for us by Zack Waterhouse at Kenwood Travel. This holiday was originally booked almost four years ago for five of us to celebrate special birthdays happening in 2020. We were due to fly out around the 26th March, well that didnt happen of course! And so we postponed and delayed the holiday and the lady who originally dealt with the booking left the industry and Zack took our booking on and we couldnt be more pleased with his efforts. We finally flew out of Heathrow on Friday 14th April for 17 nights of pure luxury at a fabulous Thai hotel in Krabi. He arranged transport at Phuket for our onward journey to and from the hotel, and it was there waiting for us and the driver arrived at the hotel in plenty of time for the return journey at the end of the holiday. Thank you Zack for going above and beyond arranging everything for us, it was a fabulous holiday and we shall be ringing to arrange with you again soon!

Fantastic experience: Booked the holiday a year ago and with all that has been going on we didn't think it would go ahead. Lai has been great all along and has handled all the changes with a level head and professionalism. With all the sudden changes just before we went Lai was a great help in sorting out the various tests that we needed. Fantastic experience: Lai Yap was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and was always available, even when she wasn't supposed to be. Nothing was too much trouble and she got us a fantastic deal (which we moved several times due to restrictions). We tried a couple of times to change our plans but she insisted on not letting us as she knew we had picked the right place for what we were looking for. Kenwood travel really does have things right with their specialist agents with specialist knowledge. I'm glad we stuck it out, and despite the anxiety over the ever changing restrictions, everything worked out in the end! Thank you for sticking with us and convincing me to stick with my plan. Fantastic experience: Was looking for a non run of the mill holiday, and something a bit special, and the I found it with Kenwood travel. Unlike other travel agents website, everything was there and in front of you, allowing you to book exactly what you wanted and not at rip off prices. Transfers, airport lounge and car parking all booked at a one stop place. All done online, got a callback to confirm a few things and run through stuff, very impressed with the customer service and very happy at the price for an amazing two weeks that's coming up in Antigua. I can only recommend Kenwood Travel if you are looking for that hidden gem of a great holiday.

Fantastic experience: I’ve booked all my holidays through Lai Yap at Kenwood Travel for many years. On a recent trip, there were problems that the hotel were being very slow to fix. Lai and Sharron from Kenwoods Customer Service dept contacted the hotel and told them to look after us which they did! The turnaround after Kenwoods intervention was astonishing! Thoroughly recommend Lai - she really looks out for her clients and the care continues throughout your holiday as well.

Fantastic experience: Our experience with our agent at Kenwood has been amazing from start to finish. We usually use another company for our trips but due to the exceptional service that was offered from our initial enquiry through to quote we decided to go with Kenwood and we are so happy with our choice. Our agent Joanna could not have done more for us - I must have asked 1000 questions but nothing was ever too much trouble for her and she went above and beyond to help us! Thank you so so much! Fantastic experience: Lai has been so helpful and very knowledgeable right from the start of our booking. She's been wonderful in helping us sort out the fit to fly and other requirements. I'd spent so much time before speaking to Lai, trying to make sense of it all, I found it all quite daunting! Now with Lai's help everything is booked and we're ready for our stress free, holiday. Fantastic experience: Having booked our family trip during lockdown I’ve been asking quite a few questions of Zac at Kenwood. We are travelling with my daughter and I’ve needed to ask a few things to make sure I’ve thought of everything for her. Fantastic experience: Lai the miracle worker We are so grateful to have had Lai as our travel agent. She quite literally moved mountains for us. Just to show you the magic: We found out that our trip was cancelled on a Sunday evening, we were meant to be flying on Monday afternoon. This was due to a last minute problem which caused an issue, meaning we had to cancel our flight. Lai (who was meant to be on annual leave) cancelled our flights straight away and credited our money that we paid and was apologetic saying we can reschedule our holiday. The day after this had happened, we found out that we could actually go and Sunday evening we emailed Lai to explain our situation and we spoke to Kenwood staff as Lai was on annual leave and explained the change in circumstances. The airport offices were closed as it was a Sunday; we were advised that the Kenwood employees would try the following day as the airport offices were closed. We crossed our fingers that we could still go, but we also understood that there was a high chance that actually, this would be a miracle if the holiday were to go ahead. We packed our suitcases that night, I was very doubtful that we’d be going on holiday but I packed anyway, as there was a 5% chance of a miracle happening. Monday morning came, and we rang Kenwood to see if there were any updates. Lai was already on a call so we were told to expect a callback. I crossed my fingers to hear good news but was completely understanding if it was too last minute to do anything about it. We got a callback and it was Lai. SHE HAD SOMEHOW WORKED A FRIKKING MIRACLE AND SAID WE NEEDED TO BOARD OUR PLANE AT 1PM with a small fee to pay due to increase in plane tickets. I was gobsmacked. She sent us a passenger locator form for Maldives which we frantically filled out and booked an uber to go to the airport. We didn’t quite believe Lai had worked her magic and didn’t believe anything until we got onto the plane. A day of flying later, we were finally in the Maldives!!!! honestly, I have to thank Lai for this miracle and a much needed holiday for myself and my husband! I am so grateful to her!

Negative experience: Just taken kenwood travel to court for damages due to poor accommodation and failing to give us the holiday we paid for. Awarded over £4500 by the Court, will be instructing balifs on Monday if we don't receive the money! Kenwood have behaved very poorly throughout. If you want any help in recovering your money please contact me. Kenwood are taking everyone's money and not honouring their sales pledges.

Negative experience: AVOID! Kenwood Travel took our booking for a family holiday and the sizeable deposit. The same week we then received a voicemail saying the holiday was cancelled. I asked for the refund. over two weeks later I am told no refund is processed. I am in a queue and they cannot confirm when the refund will be made. I even contacted the CEO. Terrible customer service. KENWOOD TRAVEL WHERE IS MY REFUND

Negative experience: We booked a holiday with Kenwood Travel for 4 people to Mauritius. The initial booking was a straightforward process, however when we wished to make a change to the booking to upgrade the flights a week before travel we were firstly very rudely told 'it isn't possible' before the person who answered the phone had even checked and despite my being able to see availability in the class on the BA website. When I insisted, there was a 'sigh' and they said they would pass it on to the right department. 8 hours later I got a call back from a more helpful member of staff. On arrival in Mauritius the transfer was not waiting for us - after a twelve hour flight, this is rather annoying - It was impossible to reach anyone at Kenwood to find out what was happening - so we had to find a taxi to get to the hotel. I asked Kenwood to refund that portion of the payment - a small amount but its the principle - and they refused saying it was our fault and their ground handler was 'waiting'. The only issue is no-one at Kenwood had ever told us where or how to find them - usually drivers wait with a sign? In summary - if nothing goes wrong on your holiday, Kenwood are probably fine, however if things change or any problems occur - and in the current situation there are often changes - it is impossible to get hold of anyone and when you do they are not really interested in helping. There are far better travel agents out there who are actually interested in their customers.

Fantastic experience: Kenwood travel have been amazing throughout the pandemic, cancelling and rebooking holidays I have never taken due to COVID. My money is safe and I have total peace of mind. They have guided me through the maze of COVID rules and kept me up to date every step of the way. It's so reassuring to have a dedicated travel representative I can email or call and know he has my best interest at heart. I really hope I can repay them by actually taking a well deserved holiday very soon, after all their hard work and support. I would highly recommend them as a travel company to use.

Fantastic experience: I recently booked a holiday with Zac at Kenwood Travel. Zac made great suggestions to any queries I had and the whole process was very smooth and I was very impressed. About a month later, I recosted the holiday and the price had been reduced massively. I immediately contacted Zac through email and he responded straight away and said he would contact the hotel. At 740am the next morning, Zac had emailed me with the new booking and price! Zac provided brilliant customer service, keeping me updated at all times and I couldn’t recommend him and Kenwood Travel enough for the great experience I received! I’m looking forward to booking all my future holidays with Zac :-)

Fantastic experience: Just booked a holiday to Dubai with Zac at Kenwood Travel. AMAZING! Obviously was quite nervous about booking anything given the current pandemic, but Zac explained Kenwood's travel promise. Even being half 7 at night, and shortly before he was supposed to leave for the day, he took the time to explain the best flight options for me, some hotel advice, some destination advice... really put me at ease about booking, and building the holiday excitement! Really great experience, will definitely use them again after this!

Fantastic experience: We have booked with Kenwood Travel many, many times. We really like the personal service and attention to detail. Even through COVID times Lai has always been available to help with any queries or changes. The personal service is so much better than our previous experiences with other bigger holiday / airline companies. I highly recommend Kenwood Travel and if you are planing a Caribbean adventure ask for Lai when you phone - she is just great!

Fantastic experience: Have used Kenwood Travel a few times and they have always been excellent. Keeping you up to date, offering good value luxury holidays. Recently during covid they have particularly excelled themselves, helping move the dates of a holiday, helping change our flight to a better time when the airline changed the flight times. We have worked with Lai a couple of times now for different trips and have built a relationship with her. She is supportive and helpful even she must be dealing with lots of difficult situations on behalf of customers like us.

Fantastic experience: I booked my honeymoon last year with Lai Yap to go to Dubai and Mauritius but due to Covid I had to change to the Maldives and was very happy with my choice and I changed it with no hassle whatsoever. Lai guaranteed me that my money was safe and that even if I didn’t go to the Maldives that she would definitely find me somewhere lovely for my honeymoon. I put all my trust in Lai and by this stage we had spoken so many times and she was always there just a phonecall or email away to reassure me that if anything changed leading up to my departure and if the Maldives changed to red that it wouldn’t be a problem and she would find a different location for us . The Maldives did go to red and stayed red so Lai sept me some options for Barbados and Antigua and we decided on The sandals Barbados for our honeymoon and it was truly out of this world everything that Lai had told us about it was all true and it really was the best 2 wks for us the hotel , the restaurants , the island itself was breathe taking . I want to thank Lai from the both of us for recommending this hotel and for always being their for us and reassuring us all the time that she would do her very best to make our Honeymoon the best for us and she went above and beyond for us . We have been on the phone already to book our holiday for 2022 with Kenwood Travel and our very dear friend Lai Yap your one in a million

Fantastic experience: Many thanks to Zac Waterhouse at Kenwood for finding my company a great value hotel in Dubai suitable for a business trip, away from the hustle and bustle of Jumeirah. He understood exactly what we needed. Despite a very sudden spike in price due to a flurry of reservations, Zac and the Kenwood team managed to maintain the price of the original quote. He was always quick to respond and extremely courteous and professional throughout. We always enjoy dealing with Kenwood. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: During the pandemic Kenwood Travel have dealt with situation with outstanding professionalism, I booked up a holiday with them for May 2020, cancelled because of the pandemic, no quibbles from Kenwood, money paid back, I re-booked later the same holiday for May 2021, the rules won't allow us to travel, again, no quibbles, money being paid back. There is something said for using a reputable, reliable, trustworthy company and I don't think, after other experiences during the pandemic concerning holidays, that I will ever use another company again. Kenwood have earned my loyalty and that's what they will have. Well done Kenwood and look forward in booking all my annual holidays with you again....SOON!

Fantastic experience: Lai at Kenwood Travel was excellent from start to finish. She has an excellent knowledge of the hotels she is selling and how to get from A to B. We had very specific needs due to CVD. I spoke to 2 other travel agents before I spoke to her and they couldn't help me at all. Lai sorted everything out in flash and before we knew it we were boarding a plane and staying at a lovely hotel recommended by Lai. We had a wonderful time. I am very grateful to her because travelling is quite daunting at the moment but she made it very easy. Thank you Lai.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service from Neil Henderson. Had our honeymoon to the Maldives cancelled by Kuoni without an offer for an alternative until I pushed them and the options were a world apart from what Neil offered. Showed us a fantastic island that hit all out wish list, managed to beat my own price I’d got for the fairmont the palm plus upgrading the half board and free seaplane transfers. Incredibly responsive and outrageously fast turn around time on a bunch of demanding quotes. Couldn’t be happier with the process so far, if the service continues as is, I won’t use another travel agent again.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Neil Henderson at Kenwood Travel highly enough. Brilliant at what he does, professional, friendly and so very helpful. Fantastic experience: Incredible 3 island Maldives holiday all arranged through the expert team at Kenwood Travel. We stayed at Heritance Arrah, Vakkaru and Ozen Maadu which were all quite different but all absolutely stunning with amazing service, incredible food all at fine dining quality and beautiful accommodations. We had over water villas at all 3 with direct access to swim to the reefs. The best marine life from the villa was definitely from the Ozen where we saw small reef sharks, rays and even turtles every time we looked over the balcony. Vakkaru was probably the more exclusive resort and although we didn't use it, we visited the kids club to see if it would be suitable for grandkids and it was fantastic. So many things for them to do and very qualified staff to entertain the children. For us we found Heritance Arrah had the best night life with a great Cuban duo playing until 1am and the famous mixologist Steve making the most incredible cocktails and shots. Ozen Maadu had the most included activities which suited us as we are very active people so we dived, snorkled, fished, canoed etc etc. The staff at Kenwood REALLY knew their stuff about each resort and were able to suit the whole trip specifically to our needs and interests. All the internal transfers went without a hitch and we were made to feel like VIP's the whole time. Would definitely recommend Kenwood and all of the resorts.

Fantastic experience: We have had a amazing experience with Jit Mandalia our travel consultant . We have used him for over 10 years to travel to Maldives & Dubai . I have to be honest he always has come up trumps with our family holiday ! We all have a range of needs .. twin boys , teenager and myself are pretty hard to please ! Jit always recommend the best places and we have never been disappointed.. he can be hard to pin down at times - but that is a good thing as he is always in demand ! Be persistant it is worth it !! Fantastic experience: Organised my short nice wedding in St Lucia through Lai. Went to Kenwood because another agent was useless and Lai was amazing from start to finish! She got to know all about us and everything was set up perfectly, it was just COVID that then killed it for us and we had the holiday and wedding cancelled. But again, Lai was straight on the phone and sorting things for us and giving us options. Amazing from start to finish and can’t recommend enough. Although we never had a chance to get away I’ve no doubt it would have been perfect.
