Fantastic experience: Aangename en leerrijke wandeling in Derry. Onze gids, Mickey Rooney (!!!) is een vlotte verteller, onderlegd in de gruwelijke oude en jonge geschiedenis van de stad. Hij bracht ons op plaatsjes waar het verleden dóórleeft in het heden. Boeiend.

Fantastic experience: Declan was our tour guide. The tour was both entertaining and educational. Declan is very knowledgeable of Derry history and you can tell he is very passionate about the city. Would highly recommend. This is an unmissable your when visiting Derry.

Fantastic experience: Was only driving through Londonderry and decided to take a walking tour. Patti was our guide. She was lovely, knowledgeable, and friendly. Learned so much history and got to take a short stroll on the wall. Thanks again Patti!!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended to make this tour. I made it with Tony, and he was really good as a historian storyteller!, it was fun, enjoyable and rich on information. Is a small/slow walk around the city walls where they explained the history of Derry. Tony (our guide yesterday), made an incredible work, he also gave his perspective from when he was a kid and explained detailed every aspect, he was also pretty fun and speak a bit of Spanish to me. The tour is fully in English. Don’t miss this one and leave a nice tip.

Fantastic experience: On our first full day in Derry we made sure to get out and explore the town, so we decided to do the Walking Tour that our host recommended. *Pro tip, you do need cash and if you only have USD then the price is about $10/pp rather than $6£. There was probably 30+ people in the group we joined, so it was quite large. Our guide was John and he did a great job handling the tour with so many people. At times he talked so fast that we had a hard time understanding him, or if there was background noise it made it difficult to hear him but overall we both liked the tour for the cost.  It gave us the opportunity to learn about Derry's history, some of it being very recent; and we learned about the Derry Walls, why they call the city "the Walled City" and "the Maiden City". The tour last just over an hour and we probably walked half a mile or so in total. The weather was windy which made it cold, but it was partly sunny and dry. The best part of the tour was how close it was to the apartments, so it made really easy to find and to come/go.

Fantastic experience: Tour totalmente recomendable porque cuenta toda la historia del conflicto desde el año 1600 y es importante tener todo el contexto. Guía muy bueno y precio más que razonable. La única pega es que solo sea en inglés y no siempre todos los componentes del grupo lo van a entender, siempre puede haber uno que cuente la historia a los demás tomando una pinta de Guiness en el pub.

Fantastic experience: Great tour with a knowledgeable host. We learnt a lot and enjoyed the history of the walled city and Ireland history. John answered questions as a good host would, but most questions asked he was about to explain anyway, so it was best to let him do what he knew. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: The tour was informative and showed the beauty of Derry. Our guide, Rory Moore, was able to describe the ancient history of Derry through the Troubles with ease and depth. Well worth much more than the price and the only way to experience the city!!

Fantastic experience: Loved that the tours run at the same time every day and we didn't need to plan ahead. We had thought to take the 14:00 but got distracted and ended up taking the 16:00. Guide was fabulous and I learned quite a bit without being overwhelmed. The pace was just right and was an excellent value for the price.

Fantastic experience: John was excellent! The tour was a perfect way to get the city’s history and hear stories and anecdotes you wouldn’t hear by just reading the plaques. It was REALLY windy on the wall so bring gloves, layers and a windbreaker to be comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Had a great tour round the historic walls. Got a great overview of the city and its history from the guide, John, that was entertaining, informative and funny. Well worth the time and great way to start any day there as helps give you learn the lay of the land and what to go and see. Definitely well worth it.

Fantastic experience: This was well worth it and they could have charged 5 times the cost and still worth it! Pattie was my guide. She was great! I was in Belfast & Dublin before Londonderry, but this is by far my favorite. The tour was about and hour and 15 minutes and lacked so much history into it. Thank you!

Positive experience: A good historical overview of Derry and lovely walk around The Wall. Tour guide was knowledgeable, but it was a solo tour, so more of a conversation would have been better.

Fantastic experience: Had Philip as my guide. He was enthusiastic, even impassioned, about Derry’s history and its role in winning better treatment for the Irish-descended residents of Northern Ireland. As another reviewer has said, wear warm clothing and a hat. (Philip did ). In winter the wall parapet is quite frigid.

Fantastic experience: Went up to Derry on the morning and had the great pleasure of being in John McNulty's noon tour: it was a fantastic hour filled with amazing views and compelling history. He told of the history of the town in a way that was detailed, easy to follow, at times humorous, and always captivating. If you are anywhere in Ireland you should come to Derry and ask for John McNulty. Absolutely class!

Fantastic experience: We did a walking tour of Derry with Patti Holly and she was fabulous! It ended up being a rather large group and in the rain but Patti was able to keep the tour moving at a comfortable pace and share wonderful information about the areas we passed by. We walked the City Walls which was an easy walk and we saw some beautiful and interesting sites. Patti conducted the tour with great knowledge and warmth. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the beautiful city of Derry.

Fantastic experience: Martin lead a fabulous walking tour of Derry. It was the highlight of our visit to the city. So much knowledge delivered in an informative and fun manner. Martin is a real pro. We talking walking tours in every city we visit. Martin is one of the best guides we’ve come across. I highly recommend him. FYI-The website says to meet at 11 Carlisle however they moved the location to in front of the shopping center. We almost missed the tour.

Positive experience: Was a nice experience to see the city and do a city walk. However, the guide talked too fast and the tour seemed to be too short.

Fantastic experience: Very nice and enlightening tour. Our guide John is super funny and friendly. It last about one hour and it goes only the insides of the walled city but he shows you other points of interest from distance and tells you so much about the history of the place. It definitely worth the £6. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking through some hills!

Fantastic experience: We were Lucky enough to have Philip on the walking tour today. The history as told by Philip, was fascinating and heartbreaking. Last time I was here there were armed soldiers at shop corners and this tourist site (the wall) was a military barracks. But today, Derry offers such beauty ! Absolutely Loved it.

Fantastic experience: I brought my two German visitors on this tour on Monday 30th January 2023 ( a very poignant date in Derrys rich history). Our guide, Philip, was so friendly, knowledgeable and good craic! He also spoke German and interacted with the girls in their mother tongue! Wear warm clothes as there’s quite a breeze up on this wall. Highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic experience: We did the derry walls walking tour with John McNulty. Yesterday , a lovely mild day.We were the only 2 on the tour and John had an awful cold but he soldiered on. Fantastic experience: Garvin was a fantastic guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Londonderry/Derry and its history. Great tour for locals and outsiders alike. You don't feel rushed at all and Garvin took time going into detail about everything we were shown. He also gave several recommendations for other places to visit outside of the tour. Our guide Garvan delivered an exceptional tour - insightful, moving, humorous, warm and full to the brim of the ‘burning pride’ the city is renowned for. Sharon in the tours office made the booking process seamless and, at about £4 a head, a must for any visitor to the city

His infectious enthusiasm, and kind and generous nature made for a brilliant experience. It was very easy to join the tour (just met by the shopping centre) and I would throughly recommend this to anyone visiting the city.
