Fantastic experience: Booked a cruise decided to add a balcony to cruise now spent over 2500 pounds we like our booking s on paper form not via email or txt as we delete everything asked for the balcony amendment to be sent via paper 3 times now still waiting .not a happy customer at the moment we will go elsewhere in future .we travel from Manchester to bury to book the holida .no more we will go elsewhere

Fantastic experience: We came to boom a multi-trip to America. Vegas, San Francisco, and New York. We had a budget and a rough idea of what order we wanted. The dates were fixed due to work commitments. Jane was amazing! So helpful and so knowledgeable and worked with us and the rep on the other end of the phone for two hours to get us the best deal possible. After a bit of juggling and a few changes they got us exactly what we wanted for our budget and the Hotels look amazing. We loved meeting and chatting to all those who work here. We had a great day and have been on a high ever since.

Fantastic experience: Our week’s holiday in Italy was booked in 2020 and then postponed until this year because of Covid. The original holiday was by then unavailable and the substitute provided by Citalia was unacceptable. The assistant at Althams went to a great deal of trouble to get Citalia to provide exactly the holiday we wanted, and as a result of her hard work we had a wonderful week in Italy.

Negative experience: Absolutely appalling service - do not book with these cowboys. My mum paid £700 for a week away with her friend, they were due to be collected at 9:15 by coach from Moss Street. When they arrived at 9:00, there was no one else about, they spoke to Althams when they opened at 9:30 and were told the time was changed to 8am and they had been unable to reach them by phone. No one has left a voicemail or an answer machine message, sent a text or even a letter and when asked about a refund was told that they wouldn’t be doing that, knowing they had never advised my mum of any changes. Shocking customer service, no empathy no resolution recommendations and no refund. Althams are crooks. When people save up all they can and look forward to time away, Althams have ruined that and we’re not interested in resolving the problem. When Althams finally came up with a solution my mum was told to get a taxi at her own cost and catch up with the coach!! Absolutely disgusting

Fantastic experience: Booked many a holiday through althams in bury, Suzanna normally deals with my holiday booking but occasionally I see one of the others. Such a great booking service and Suzanna really knows her resorts. For an extra £20-30 compared to internet prices I really do prefer to go to althams.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely 5 stars again. The lovely Suzanna's always provides the best service. Why would anyone spend hours trolling through holidays and checking everything over and over when you can get 5 star service from this company. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. I go in give Suzanna the dates I want and what my budget is and she contacts me with options, who could ask for more?
