Negative experience: Whilst looking for ticket prices I noticed that p and o ferry’s were offering the club lounge for £12 per person. I still went ahead and booking my Ferry tickets with A ferry’s and booked the club lounge option with them. They stated that the club lounge tickets were from £12 but still charged me the full price for the club lounge tickets. Please be careful when booking with A ferry, they are misleading passengers by offering the club lounge from £12 when in fact they charge you £24 per person which is the full price for the club lounge. P and o ferry’s have the actual offer on their website stating that the club lounge is half Price (£12 per person) and I can confirm that they will honour this as I have booked another ferry for next week with p and o ferry’s and have booked the club lounge for £12 per person. A ferry’s are stating that because it says from £12 it doesn’t mean that it’s £12 and that even though I have been charged £24 per person I have been charged the right price, I was overcharged by £48. They refused to honour me a refund. The team I emailed has no knowledge of what it started on their own website. They asked me for screenshots to be emailed over to them. Very disappointed with this service I will never book through them again.

Fantastic experience: We had a superb visit to Brussels! A great five day stay at the doubletree Hilton in Brussels. The staff across the board get a five star! Generally cannot fault this Hotel. Great City to visit and explore and we can recommend it. If you have thought about it…stop! Do it…as the adverts say. Two hour pleasant drive to Dunkirk and a DFDS ferry to Dover. Less than three hours back to to the Grantham area. Going again in late September to make certain that it wasn’t a fluke!

Fantastic experience: I booked two crossings with a ferry choosing channel tunnel,I mistakenly booked from Calais to Folkestone returns. A ferry gave me a full refund and I rebooked the correct crossings .customer service is second to none but be advised they don't like getting tied up on the phone and only respond to messages or emails.that being said they treated me fairly with no amendment fees at all.I will be using them again most certainly

Fantastic experience: I made a booking with Aferry to travel to France for this Valentine's and due to sudden illness decided to cancel or amend. Yes even though you cannot reach them via phone I tried email with bated breath though initially as sometimes we all know how emails take forever to actually get someone aside the automated system and lo and behold there comes Molly the lifesaver! Molly responded to every email within 5-10 mins She was ever so prompt, efficient, empathetic to my situation, professional and very helpful. Molly tried P&O direct to get resolution but to no avail however it didn’t stop her. I wish I could share some of her emails. We eventually found a convenient solution and I’m extremely grateful. Positive experience: Good when they sell the £24 daytrip tickets online from Poole to Cherbourg because you can only buy them over the phone with the ferry company, itself, so it saves a phonecall.

Never book with this company.Customer service is absolute joke.We booked in advance for a family with 2 adults and 3 children and for a unexpected change of our circumstances, we had to change the vehicle as the old one had no V5 yet.After 6 days of trying to get in touch tru the chat system and no phone number as well, we ve been messaged, that they don’t have reply yet from DFDS and we ve been asked to pay extra £265 = £405 in total for the amendments.I ve booked new for £215 in 5 mins Avoid avoid avoid!!!! They ruined our family Holiday!!!

Fantastic experience: I am always very happy to use A-Ferry for all my car ferry needs, never need look elsewhere. That's because their system and operation is the best Ive found out there. Range of ferry operators, cost as well is very favourable to any competitors but the thing I like most about using A-Ferry is how you can mix and match so not only a different route home for your return journey is an option but even a different ferry company for the return is perfectly possible as well with prices for the very many permutations on most routes easily displayed and understandable. Being able to make changes to reservations is a big bonus as well, I never use any one else. Highly recommend!

Nothing printed about how long before sailing to be at harbour 25 mins before was too late!!! as we didn't know it an hour or more!! Something printed on the booking would have been a help!! Negative experience: Went on Aferry site to book ferry . Authorised payment on my app Aferry then said not approved so did it again . Same message came up . Booked with direct ferries instead .
