Fantastic experience: This was the first time I’ve used your website luckily a friend recommended you to me. I will defiantly use you again and I’ve already recommended you to another friend. I had a very positive experience. Sam Glynn the Pet Travel Expert I delt with was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I particularly liked that she took my details including the name of the hotel I was interested in booking and rather than keeping me waiting on the line she contacted the hotel and rang me back. I’m looking forward to my first hotel stay with my beautiful little dog.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. I wrote more than a month ago to ask for changes in our booking that is on the 19th of October. Different people answer the same email so you need to keep explaining, still today I don't know if they have changed the booking, not, I also got an email talking about cancellation that I didn't ask for. Negative experience: Shockingly poor experience with this company. We were double booked (this companies fault,not ours) but we only found this out by pure luck,as we hadn't received our discount code for the ferry. Five days of chasing,as they don't answer the phone or call back when they say they will, then highlighted the double booking! By this time the available places for our required dates had reduced alot. Nothing they had available ( 3 choices) was suitable so we asked for a refund! We were promised it back ASAP, but the refund took 14days!! Even after several more phone calls and promises! Unfortunately once the refund was received we had 24hours to book somewhere and Unfortunately there was nothing available. So thanks to the clowns that run PETSPYJAMAS we have had no holiday this year! And they simply didn't care one bit! Don't use this company if you have any hope of a stress free booking, or any compassion if things go wrong. They simply don't have any! Reply to your response. Why would I reach out to customer support? There was no customer support the first time round so doubt it would be any different the 2nd time round would it. Just a copy a paste reply, which confirms my previous comments. One other thing is I'm not a customer of yours and never will be after my experience. I will be making sure all of your advertisements in the various dog clubs are removed! You simply don't treat customers like you did!

Negative experience: Dreadful service. I booked a weekend break for me, my daughters and dog. We were quoted a price and paid the full amount. The next day, I had an email to say that the price was incorrect and that it was double the amount they quoted! I therefore had to cancel and 15 days later, still haven't had my £800 back despite sending frequent emails. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a pattern - AVOID!

Fantastic experience: Great informative site & communication from their colleagues. We stayed at the Battlesteads in Northumberland and everything was as they described & better! The facilities great & all the staff and people in the village were very friendly, great atmosphere! Food amazing, great dog walks from the front door. Walter loved his welcome pack! We were looked after as well, coffee, teas, selection of milks, cookies & a bowl of fresh fruit! Amazing chef ( 8 course taster a must!) and great selection of drinks, what more could you want, already rebooked Thank you Pets pyjamas!

Negative experience: Rubbish! Had to cancel as my parents got very sick, and they have stated the refund will be 28 working days! I appreciate this is in T&C however in this modern age everything is quicker, RUDE horrible email exchange from Paul! Won’t ever use again which is a shame as had planned another four trips with them this year, avoid at all costs! Will review on every platform to make sure others aren’t booking with such a horrible company

Negative experience: Was quoted a price which was then increased once our deposit was made. This was because they quote before confirming with the hotel. We cancelled our booking with PJ and booked directly with the hotel. We saved ourselves a lot of hassle and quite a bit of cash. I recommend you check with your hotel and book direct if you can.

Positive experience: I found out about the error of the money over the wkend so nothing was open. I did try & sort it by a virtual assistant. I later received an email to say it had been sorted, but by then I had sent more money which I am waiting to receive back. Perhaps the site should wait before harassing customers, as it did say it could take up to 4 days for the money to be taken. Depending on how this 1st holiday goes, depends on whether we use this site again.

Negative experience: Totally ruined our holiday in my opinion. The hotel was dirty, shabby and dated. Reported this to PetsPyjamas, along with photos, and they couldn't care less. Keep fobbing us off. Customer services keep sending generic emails copying and pasting terms and conditions to state that it's not their problem and saying they are waiting to hear from the hotel! My advice, look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Excellent. Plain and simple with wonderful food at the HORSEHOE INN at Egton Bridge, North Yorkshire. Rustic charm and so very dog friendly country hotel. Don't go here if you expect the Ritz but if you want a Ritz experience at a fabulous price with such a warm welcome, where your dog comes first, then this is the place for you. Dogs even get a bowl with sausages for breakfast.....don't worry they can also join you on the settle seats as well. Brilliant breakfasts and very delicious evening meals with good prices. ..wash it down with good wine selection and three real ales available (changes regularly). Superb and thanks to all for 2 good nights.

Positive experience: Pets Pyjamas have excellent hotels and deals for dogs and we use them on a regular basis. This time around I found them a tad pushy, if you swap pages on the web site a notice comes up asking why you are leaving. The booking didn't appear to allow me to look at a range of rooms, I had to feel in a form and then was quoted, it would be great to compare hotels and rooms without this. The service could be hugely improved by changing the form to allow a range. Could only fill in the name of 1 dog, I'm sure it was there somewhere but I couldn't readily find it. When the suggested form came back, it was followed within minutes by 2 texts an email and a phone call. Too much when I was at work. The firm is great but could improve aspects of it's service.

Fantastic experience: I'd never heard of this travel firm before, until I was searching online for dog-friendly accommodation. Our dogs are important to us, and it seems to them too. We found a nice looking hotel, which we are due to visit in a few days. The booking process was very straightforward and there were nice friendly and helpful communications with their staff. Fantastic experience: Whilst looking for a stay in a dog friendly hotel, I came across PetsPyjamas. I thought twice about filling in my (basic) details but I'm glad I did because PetsPyjamas were able to get me an ideal booking at a good price for the two of us and Molly, our dog. Negative experience: I have nothing positive to say about this company. Firstly I find the website confusing to navigate and it’s unclear regarding availability of properties. Secondly, we had vouchers bought as a gift after booking a holiday for myself and my partner it took over 4 weeks of multiple phone calls, emails, failure to call back for them to inform us the holiday had not even been booked and was still pending. The property was then unavailable. We have now rearranged another holiday using the vouchers and again this is pending. If it wasn’t for the vouchers we would be booking through a different website. This process has been going on since June and still yet resolved. I’ve been on multiple of holidays with my dog and never had such stress and constant problems. If it wasn’t for the vouchers gifted to us we would have booked through a different company

Fantastic experience: After searching for hours I decided to look on Pets Pyjamas website. I was very impressed with the contact from them by email and also via text and then a phone call to discuss my requirements. Finally got booked with our 3 pooches and can’t wait for our trip. Positive experience: It is so much easier using pets pyjamas to make hotel bookings. I was sick of scrolling through loads of hotels on other websites, only to find that pets were not allowed. I was a bit confused when the hotel I was trying to book didn’t confirm my booking but then realised that pets pyjamas were contacting me the next day during office hours and they did exactly that. However, I had realised there was other hotels that were able to book immediately and was able to get a date that wasn’t available at the other hotel. We are looking forward to our 1st pet pyjama stay

Fantastic experience: Everyone I dealt with during the booking process was unendingly pleasant, professional and above all patient! I changed my mind a few times about dates and requirements but they never made me feel I was being a nuisance (although I definitely was). Thank you so much to Claire, Paul and Alison and anyone else I have forgotten. You are legends and great examples of wonderful customer service. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: PetsPyjamas is new to me, but I am delighted I have discovered them, each holiday site I visit that say Pet Friendly accommodation frustrates me so much as I peruse through only to find what I have selected does not take dogs!! The choice of amazing hotels and accommodation for dogs with PetsPyjamas is fabulous. I've booked North Wales for December, and now busy looking for a break in October too, confident I shall find somewhere, in addition, customer service always available to help.

Fantastic experience: Booking through Pets Pyjamas was so easy. The website is easy to use and extremely informative. When I called them to ask a couple of questions, I was met by an extremely helpful concierge who oozed happiness to oblige. I booked without hesitation and will definitely book again through Pets Pyjamas when we next want to take the dog with us!

Fantastic experience: Pets Pyjamas are very easy to use. Enquired about a reservation late evening and Ashley got back to me early next morning. I’ve tried using alternative sites to book dog-friendly breaks, but the lists of accommodation always contain ones with an no-dogs policy despite using the dog-friendly filter. Pets Pyjamas are the best I’ve used over the past six/seven years.

Negative experience: I was very disappointed with their customer service. I was offered a voucher by e mail that I did not see until after booking and they refused to honour the discount . I am a first time user of this website and will book my breaks another way in future .

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful stay with our dogs at The White Hart. The staff were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The facilities are great and the hotel is in a very convenient location. Excellent staff who were always extremely accomodating to any requests we made. Hoping to get back there again later this year.

Fantastic experience: Booking a 3 night stay with our wee dog was an effortless experience through PetsPyjamas. I had a couple of questions in relation to specific details which were answered quickly and satisfactorily. The representative was professional and exceptional at all times keeping me informed of progress. This was my first booking and I will most certainly be booking again. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending PetsPyjamas for a dog friendly stay.

Fantastic experience: Was thrilled to bits we had found some where to stay who also welcomed our pet, would certainly book through Pets panamas, again. Just be patient using the web site, the experience was rather frustrating, even though, we got there in the end, and the follow up phone call was a breath of fresh air

Negative experience: I would not recommend this site/company. Booking was cancelled less that 2 weeks before Easter, citing that the property was double booked. Yet it took the owner nearly 2 weeks to realise this. This just says to me that the owner got more money on another site. Even worse is that it's been over a month and I'm still waiting for the refund!

Fantastic experience: The booking is really easy, I say that from a not so tech savvy 65 year old. The only thing I did extra was to contact the hotel in respect of ground floor rooms, once I'd done that the rest was simple., and easy to understand no jargon! Thank you PetsPyjamas

Negative experience: Very disappointed the room I was expecting to stay in and the one I got to stay were poles apart as you can see from the images attached, not worth the money and feel very ripped off by PetsPyjamas, to be honest it would have been easier to book and negotiate a better room myself, I notice PetPyjamas wouldn't put a picture of this room on thier website, very misleading and definitely not worth the £310 I paid to stay at this hotel.

Positive experience: The place is very dog friendly and the staff are lovely. So so welcoming and there if you need anyhting. We had a lovely clean room but it was tiny!! We will definately return but ask for one of their large rooms (and yes they do have them) with windows and everything! lol.

Positive experience: Andrea was very helpful. I have made a booking but I am not happy with the charges. Andrea said that the pricing is driven by the hotel and not Pets Pyjamas and could not explain the discrepancy. I'll take it up with the hotel when I get there

Fantastic experience: Had an issue with the the advertised voucher code, swiftly resolved by calling the helpline and booking made. Looking forward to staying, but so far the easy online booking for owners travelling with their dogs was very welcome, rather than having to call and check if a dog friendly room was available.

Negative experience: Beware! Their website has misleading prices! Saw a lovely barn conversion, put in the dates and number of people plus dog and it said 'guide' price was £102 per night for a 3 night stay. Clicked to check availability and pay deposit and they quoted £375 per night. When I emailed them they replied saying it was because it was a bank holiday weekend and shorter breaks work out more expensive than a weeks stay. Really? Surely that price should be on the website if that's the case. I checked again a week later and it was still advertised at £102 per night. Needless to say I have booked elsewhere and I am left wondering if the good reviews and awards are actually for real.

Negative experience: AVOID AVOID AVOID! I was mislead into booking when apparently all confirmed, then after making payment I was told the next day the hotel is fully booked! Now I’m out of pocket for 28 days whilst waiting for a refund! What kind of business is this?!

Negative experience: After submitting a check availability request for the date required I received a quote via email with the option to accept and pay which I did within a matter of hours of receipt. 2 days later I receive a call to say the hotel does not actually have availability and I had the option to rearrange or receive a refund!! Luckily I had not yet made travel arrangements. I queried why they had not confirmed availability before accepting my payment to which I was told the room must have sold in the interim. Surely if you provide someone with a quote and the option to accept it this should be valid for a number of hours with the room held for that period. Just a warning to anyone else as I could have been out a lot of money had I already booked a flight or ferry!

Fantastic experience: Even though I sent my online availability enquiry late in the evening, someone telephoned shortly afterwards to introduce themselves as my contact and that they would send an email with details of the prospective booking. I had two queries about the property. The same person telephoned again later that same evening with responses to my queries. The contact person was pleasant, clear and acted quickly upon my queries.

Negative experience: Absolutely appalling. Take my advice and stay away from this company at all costs. They have no right to take money off me when they did not process my booking. Now I am told I have to wait to get it back. Communication terrible and refuse to accept they are at fault and their personal responsibility to rectify the situation as a matter of urgency. The customer certainly doesn't come first and policies are flawed.

Fantastic experience: Loved the layout of the website, easy to search exactly what I was looking for. Thought it was a beautiful touch that when you enquire about a venue someone rings, texts and emails to talk about it before you book it. Unfortunately I couldn't answer but Paula left me a voice message which was lovely. I'm looking forward to my holiday with my fur baby and hopefully it will be the start of many more.

Negative experience: Disappointing. This company has an online payment process. Takes minutes for your payment to go through. Cancel and they advise 28 days to refund you. In an electronic age we are in I find it unbelievable that any company can take 28 days to refund you. Even large companies bigger than this lot refund in days. 2 weeks down the line it looks like they will stretch the process out. Won’t be using them again. Beware if you cancel the they take 28 working days to process a refund . Nearly 6 weeks ! Another scam to hold onto your money ! Find a more reputable company to book with. This company are just crooks !

Fantastic experience: Discovering this website for pet friendly holidays was definitely "The Pet's Pyjamas" for me ... I loved the personal touches, like asking for my beloved fur baby's name & breed details ... as well as the attention to detail that each property listed had a secure garden or patio available for the enjoyment & peace of mind for both humans & their four legged friend/s. I will definitely be using PetsPyjamas again.... We're now all eagerly awaiting our winter break away.
