Negative experience: Worst journey ever in West Midlands! The driver, Tim, was so rude!

Fantastic experience: Johnsons provided us with a Mini Bus to see the Rugby on Sunday 10th November at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff travelling from Redditch. The quality of the transport was of a high standard, nice leather seats no dusty/dirty material ones. Micky was our driver for the day and helped make our day enjoyable. The whole service was clear and concise with providing details of the drive for the day. We will be back again. Thank you Johnsons!

Fantastic experience: We use Johnson’s a lot to travel to Rugby games over many years. Saturday was no exception as we played Hornets away in Western Super Mare. The driver (Ken) was excellent and was professional, knowledgeable and a decent bloke to chat too. Would highly recommend..

Fantastic experience: I booked Johnson’s as a travel for my wedding party too and from the venue. They were profesional and prompt from the first interaction. This was further backed up when they arrived on the day. Ahead of time with friendly service and willing to accommodating the party both to the venue and back. Fantastic experience: Used Johnsons for a last minute trip to Cosford Airshow. We were picked up by Adam in the feeder coach - he arrived on time and was well mannered. He was very chatty and made the journey from Castle Brom to Henley-in-Arden entertaining! I love meeting drivers that seem to like what they do. He left us with Simon (I think?) who took us to Cosford. Great driver, didn't mess around when it came to traffic and getting us to the destination with plenty of time to spare before the airshow began. Coach itself was comfortable, and seemed well looked after. Can't wait to travel with you guys again! Great days out for affordable prices :)

Fantastic experience: On our way back from 6 days in Tours with a coach load of students and, I must say, the trip was made all the better thanks to our amazing driver Rob. He is the kindest person ever. Could not do enough to make our trip as pleasant as possible. I will definitely be requesting him for our next trip. Thank you, Rob. We are genuinely grateful for your great humour and gentle manners. We felt very safe in your hands.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to leave a comment regarding a recent trip to France that this company supplied two coaches for my daughter’s school. One of the first things my daughter mentioned when home, was how friendly and thoughtful both drivers (Martin and possibly the other was called Rob?) were. Looking after children with travel sickness was especially kind. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Our driver, Zaishan, who looked after us on our week's Rugby Tour in the UK, was five star. A true gentleman and nothing was too much trouble. He made our tour super smooth and enjoyable. Hope we can travel with him again one day.

Fantastic experience: First time travellers with Johnson's but New Year in Brighton was excellent! So many little extras, like drinks and a mince pie before leaving made the experience comfortable and enjoyable. Our driver and courier, Phil and Kristina, were fantastic, always willing to go the extra mile to support us. The hotel was good, just needing a little updating, but was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was plentiful and well presented. Thank you Johnsons, we've really enjoyed it.

Positive experience: Very clean coaches and drivers were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there was a mix up with collection times on the day of departure and neither the hotel or ourselves were able to contact them. We did however eventually get to the airport on time.

Positive experience: Just returned from a johnson 5 day holiday in Sidmouth Driver Philip made us feel very safe with him he was very pleasant and helpful Hostess Kristine was extremely polite and helpful nothing too much trouble for her. Two very essential assets to Johnson coach Travel.

Positive experience: Good travel company. Isle of Wight tour Xmas tour 2022. Luke, driver, EXCELLENT. Marion, guide, very good for not very experienced and first time on island. Trip to Ryde boxing day, waste of tome 95% closed.

Fantastic experience: Went on a trip to Shrewsbury prison with Johnsons, great company been around a long time so they do know it all. Driver was great, the trip was great value. We will probably do another trip with them soon.

Positive experience: Booked a short break with Johnson's coaches,done a few days out with various companies. Itinerary included Nottingham Christmas market, Mike James big band and Trent river cruise. Special mention for Linda hostess on coach did everything she could to ensure travellers all had maximum enjoyment from trip. Coach clean and comfortable, with hot drinks both ways. On way to Orchard hotel just outside main town stopped at Christmas market,(4 hours there, just enough ). Plenty to see and do ice rink big wheel , loads of the usual stores. Most of the shops in the town were open to get some different Christmas gifts. Loads of places open to eat with spectrum of foods available. Back on the coach to hotel. Newish modern feel. Rooms clean, comfortable. Had to go from main hotel over a short path to Conference room/stage. Mike James one of the few more mature entertainers around with an easy communication with the audience. Band was very good playing enough to please all. Excellent Sax player,and some quality singers. During show there was a meal provided which was basic, but ok. Drinks were £5.75 a pint,wine £22.95 bottle. Following day we were transported to Trent for river cruise (see separate review). A couple of things that weren't too good was service at meal was poor and haphazard(Hotel)meal no real choice. Bed in room had wooden base with protruding corners ,one we noticed looked to have edge rounded off ,other didn't, so twice knocked my leg. Would definitely do another batch of trips with Johnson's,but hopefully not this venue.

Positive experience: Coach driver and courier amazing they went out of their way to help make our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble..Hotel not so good, felt that I was dining in a canteen. Bedroom so small couldn't pull chair out from under the dressing table, felt as if it should have been a single room. Wouldn't go to that Hotel again. Isle of Man and trips were wonderful.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a short holiday to Holland. Our courier Lorraine and driver Tracey worked well together. I must say that Tracey our driver was superb. I’ve been on a few coach holidays with other companies whose drivers have all been good but Tracey was amazing negotiating very tight spaces with apparent ease. Always cheerful amusing and very good fun. She made my first holiday in 3 years memorable for all the right reasons. A big thankyou.

Positive experience: It was closer than the app worked out, hence the surprise at arriving at my destination, with an hour to spate.

Positive experience: Quite disappointed that the service in my area is discontinued. Really enjoyed my days in Stratford-upon-Avon via this service. Bus prices are now on the high everywhere. To enjoy a day out on the buses that are provided by Johnsons, is to plan and make some calls, try getting out early as possible.

Fantastic experience: Had a recent 4 day holiday to Kent Lovely time interesting paces visited Courier Liz and Driver Lewis were excellent We visited a number Of Towns and Cities as well as number of excellent venues. We are looking forward to our next holiday with them to the Isle of man An ideal coach company for day trips and holidays.

Negative experience: Worst bus service I have ever used and that’s coming from someone who has used national express bham for most of their life. They either come so early - and don’t wait till the time states they’re due like other reliable bus services - that your left stranded like I was today for an hour even though I was 10 minutes early to the bus stop or they come so late that you get a warning from work. Nice enough drivers but not acceptable at all especially when they serve areas like mine where they are the sole bus service. Today my mom had to leave her work early which she will be sanctioned for as with a bus thats comes over ten minutes early and doesn’t wait, and no cash on me for a taxi I would’ve had a nice 4+ hour walk ahead of me. The only positive is that they have provided me with even more motivation to pass my test. They need to sort themselves out.

Negative experience: Absolutely dreadful bus driving through Lower and Upper Quinton. The drivers of routes 1 and 2 need to look at others on the road and also the revised highway code.

Fantastic experience: Lake district, this was my first holiday with Johnson's. From friendly helpful courier(diane) and driver(colin) to the wonderful staff at the hotel who made this a fantastic trip. The food at the skidow hotel was excellent. Thank you all again I will be back

Negative experience: This is probably the worst bus service In the whole of the west midlands.. several incidents I've suffered from johnsons from being stranded to being abused recently on the bus by a driver who accused me of something I didn't do. Also I've even had bus drivers drive straight past and johnsons themselves have had to come pick me up via a mini van. As from yesterday the 07/01/22 on the Mosely road at roughly 16.40pm the 150 ..I put my hand out and the driver drove straight past.. phoned johnsons they seem like they don't care at all.. It's time for petitions and reform of this company and even just before Xmas..I saw that the last 3 buses of the x20 did not turn up..yet strangely you could see many buses going In the direction of johnsons bus garage with "no service on them". To me I believe they were all clocking off early and not actually serving the public properly.! This Johnsons Excell needs reporting to Warwickshire council and it will only be a matter of time before they can keep not abiding by the contract. Many times drivers drive straight past..I Even was once on the x20 and one of the camp drivers failed to stop for an old man and complained to me that "why should I stop" he had the most creepy vile attitude ever and its completely shocking johnsons are employing people like this. And I can even to this day point out the drivers.. Discusting service indeed! I intend to go through the right avenue of procedures of complaints far higher that johnsons asking for a written letter of incidents. When we all know nothing will get resolved "just a slap on the wrist ''. I also know of other furious commuters who are contemplating on getting body cam cameras to build up evidence of them certain drivers. Enough is Enough and reform is needed.. Let me stress there are some very nice kind drivers at johnsons but the small minority are making it very bad for the public and passengers.. More to come.....

Fantastic experience: I have traveled with Johnson's about 16 times both abroad and here they are expensive but you pay for what you get always good hotels and courier and driver always helpful.

Fantastic experience: The drivers name was Ryan, he welcomed us warmly, gave us our safety briefing and was very helpful. We were picked up at Studley Castle and dropped off at Stratford plus the return, it was so comfortable etc we looked at doing a Johnsons coach tour thanks to Ryan

Negative experience: Do not deal with this absolute disgrace of a company!! Customer service is abysmal, do not return calls and when you do finally get hold of a manager they try and pass the buck! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Negative experience: Wrote a lengthy letter of complaint about our recent 6 day break to Torquay. The problem being the awful room we had in the Livermead Cliff Hotel. Johnsons have not even had the courtesy to reply either to my letter or my email. Very poor customer service considering the cost of the holiday. Poor show Johnsons!!

Fantastic experience: Had johnsons coaches for my sons 30th birthday celebrations to Chester races 2 wks ago and must say how amazing our driver Paul was !! He was pleasant and helped make my sons day out greatly enjoyable, by playing Happy Birthday tunes as he got on the coach and played some brilliant music so we could have a social distant sing a long on our journey. They sent a larger coach so we could spread out more from each other. They were so helpful and obliging whenever I rang to check on the covid situation. Negative experience: We were looking forward to a pre booked trip to RAF Cosford on Monday. This was cancelled without any notification leaving us standing at the departure point. Not impressed.

Negative experience: Complained about the dangerous driver driving the 87 at ridiculous speeds down country lanes in the evening - Absolutely shocking disregard for people's safety. Nothing done about it and I'm sure it will end in some being seriously injured or worse. Appalled.

Positive experience: Find the fares expensive, but thee drivers are really nice
