Negative experience: Spent ages lining up my holiday and clicked through to pay. Booking fee that was never mentioned was suddenly lumped on at checkout and infuriated me so I did not proceed and will never book with Voyage Prive (or any company that uses these underhand tactics).
Negative experience: Honestly, you pay for a two bedroom villa with private pool and sea view and you get this…. No help at all from Voyage Privé. UPDATE: we’ve been told by the hotel they’re refunding the first night but voyage prive are REFUSING to pas this on… honestly, book somewhere else.
Negative experience: They are just terrible. They offer one thing, but never deliver. We went on an expensive nile cruise. It was disastrous. It was the wrong boat, it broke down, they said it never happened before - yet previous reviews confirmed otherwise. We would have spent more time in the airport that been on holiday had I not paid for my own flights back to Cairo from Aswan and book a hotel which they failed to do. The emergency number was 9-5, and when they did respond they said I had not lost any of my itinerary, and if I did not like it, complain to ABTA. So I did!
Negative experience: L’Égypte est un pays splendide et nos guides étaient excellents, mais Voyage Privé a ruiné l’expérience par son manque de communication et ses frais cachés. Infos essentielles (aéroport, horaires) reçues seulement 10 jours avant : un cauchemar pour s’organiser. Visa : 70 € par personne payé en ligne (350 € pour 5), puis obligation de repayer 40 € par personne sur place (200 €) à cause d’informations trompeuses. Tous les autres voyageurs, passés par d’autres agences, avaient été prévenus. Excursion au Caire : déjà facturée 250 €, puis 10 jours avant le départ supplément de 50 € par personne (250 €) pour un musée à moitié vide, sans le trésor de Toutankhamon. Seuls les clients Voyage Privé ont payé ce surplus. Cabine côté moteurs, très bruyante, non signalée. Cameraman nous filmant en permanence pour nous vendre une vidéo à la fin. Bilan : 800 € de perdus à cause de leur mauvaise gestion. Magnifique voyage, mais organisation pitoyable.
Negative experience: While I do not typically write reviews, I feel compelled to share my experience with Voyage Privé to inform prospective customers. Having followed their advertised luxury offers for some time and consistently reviewing their website prior to booking travel, this marked my first occasion utilizing their services for a purported "luxury" holiday to Dubai. Regrettably, the customer service provided by Voyage Privé was significantly below expectation. Response times to inquiries were protracted, often necessitating multiple follow-up requests. Furthermore, the designated "app" proved to be cumbersome, essentially mirroring the website's functionality, with editing or submitting requests requiring a considerable amount of time navigating the various options. Despite clearly specifying dietary requirements and a special request related to the purpose of our travel during the booking process, this crucial information was not communicated to the hotel. This oversight resulted in a stay that was both inconvenient and did not align with our anticipated experience. The prominent emphasis on "LUXURY" throughout the Voyage Privé website is, in my assessment, misleading. Our booking explicitly included a "luxury transfer in a specified vehicle." However, upon arrival, we were met by a representative from an intermediary travel agency holding an indistinct sign, and the provided vehicle was a dated and partially damaged and horrible seven-seater, inconsistent with the description provided. The same happened with our return pick-up where we were provided with a seven seater which is more outdated than the metered taxis available. The transfer vehicles were not clean inside and the opposite of luxury. The discrepancy between the advertised "luxury" and the actual service rendered is notable. Why advertise a specific vehicle brand and type if it's not going to be provided, just say "transfer included" to avoid disappointment atleast! Furthermore, in an attempt to proactively address the lack of communication regarding our special request and dietary requirements, I contacted the designated support service. Unfortunately, this interaction proved to be unhelpful and compounded our dissatisfaction. The responses received from the customer service team were notably discourteous and offered no resolution or assistance whatsoever in ensuring our needs were met. This additional layer of poor service further detracted from the overall experience with Voyage Privé. In my experience, the services offered by this travel company do not align with the concept of luxury as commonly understood. The half-board option included in our booking consisted of bento boxes for lunch or dinner with a severely restricted selection of choices, hardly befitting a luxury designation. I would strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution and consider booking directly with airlines or hotels to ensure a more reliable and satisfactory travel experience. Engaging with this company proved to be a regrettable use of both time and financial resources.
Negative experience: Super annoying to use website where someone thought they somehow improved security by preventing people from "pasting" a password in the password field.
Negative experience: Marrakesch Gruppenreise gebucht, Allein-Pauschalreise bekommen. Als alleinreisende Frau habe ich mich für eine Gruppenreise entschieden, leider keine bekommen. Der örtliche Partner hat teilweise komplett versagt. 1-2 Stunden Verspätung waren an der Tagesordnung, teilweise unzumutbare Lage von Hotels. Reiseleiter war nicht physisch dabei, nur per WhatsApp. Programmpunkte wie Abendessen oder Museum sind ersatzlos entfallen und vieles weiteres. Reaktionszeit für die Umbuchung in eine sichere Umgebung hat 2 Tage gebraucht - meine Besorgnis wurde nicht ganz ernst genommen. Hochwertige oder luxuriöse Unterkünfte waren es nicht, verglichen mit den Einzelpreise der Riads hätte ich Geld gespart, hätte ich diese direkt gebucht. Für mich eine Täuschung. Unter einem Exklusiven Reiseerlebnis stelle ich mir anderes vor und vorallem mehr zuverlässigen Service vor Ort. Alles in allem würde ich den Anbieter nicht empfehlen, mein Vertrauen wurde dafür zu sehr enttäuscht. Aktuell warte ich noch auf Rückmeldung zu einer möglichen Entschädigung für die Missstände.
Positive experience: There is no information about pick ups from the hotel to the airport.
Negative experience: I booked a holiday for two adults, Voyage Prive booked my flights for a child and an infant...I let them know the error 15 days ago ,it's still not sorted and the outbound and inbound flights have approx 15 seats left. Customer Service can't help, it's a technical issue at Head Office, although they acknowledged it's their error they've doing nothing to correct it. So to surmise they incorrectly booked me as Mr, failed to book the cabin bags I paid for each way, and my partner doesn't have a seat on the flights, and I can't use my flight ticket as I don't have an infant to take with me. Certainly not a 5 star service, customer service say its a Head Office issue...as a customer I don't care, I just was a holiday for two adults as per what I paid for!
Negative experience: I had the worst experience with Voyage Privée, and I would strongly advise everyone to stay away from this travel agency. They are nothing but scammers! We paid for a holiday expecting a specific itinerary, but they changed everything without our consent. The entire trip was a disaster because of their incompetence and lack of transparency. The accommodations were not what we were promised, and the activities we had looked forward to were either canceled or substituted with subpar alternatives. When we tried to contact their customer service to address these issues, we were met with unhelpful responses and no solutions. This company ruined what was supposed to be a memorable vacation. Save yourself the trouble and run from Voyage Privée. They are the worst travel agency out there, and they do not care about their customers’ satisfaction. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere!
Negative experience: Never use this agency for multi destination bookings, we are currently traveling in Egypt and I had to beg multiple times for the hotel names and timing of itinerary… it’s been a month of sending multiple messages and no response. Don’t even expect the ‘emergency hotline’ to respond within 72hrs of your complaint… as we are still waiting… very appalling service for the cost of the entire trip. Plus we told them a month before it was our honeymoon, and we wanted to contact the hotels to see if there are upgrade options, voyage prive told us they told the hotels… every hotel we were put into a room with two separate beds…. Completely disappointing!
Negative experience: Stay away from this company. I had a holiday ruined buy there incompetent attitude to address a failed Connection service whilst in paris jus few weeks agoe . On trying to recover money they fail on every aspect to deal correctly. A contracted lift to aid holiday failed to turn up . Stay away you will be terribly messed about and out pocket should have issue I would given zero marks but not available.
Negative experience: DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. We booked a package of hotel in Venice and flights through VP. A month before departure, the airline cancelled the return flight. I contacted VP who said they would rearrange a flight but did not. I re-contacted them at least a dozen times, always being "reassured" it would be sorted but by 48hrs before departure, with no way of coming back, I arranged a flight with a different carrier and had to loose a day of the holiday. I have since contacted VP...no reply, no refund....absolutely terrible service. Date of experience: 28 October 2023

Negative experience: Slowest communication I've ever experienced, if they don't know an answer to a question they'll just ignore your emails. Travel documents stated that the trip included airport transfers however they refused to acknowledge this and ceased communication until I gave up. Pretty sure this is a breach of the Consumer Rights Act but I'm not a lawyer. I should have paid attention to the other reviews saying stay clear of this company.

Negative experience: I would give VP zero stars if possible. Currently experiencing COVID cancellation hell, with their incredibly rude or unresponsive customer service team (it alternates!). They have turned off their phone lines, live chat or responses via social media so the only way you can contact is through a part time email address. It has been eye opening in terms of what is meant to be a 'luxury' travel company vs how budget firms have processed refunds through the pandemic. I have been back and forth with a representative regarding our CLOSED hotel, yet continue to be told I would only be entitled to vouchers. This breaks my consumer statutory rights and will be reported to the ombudsman. HORRIBLE FIRM, save your money and go elsewhere!!!
Negative experience: Poor customer service. They reply only by email and they do it after 4 or 5 weeks if you're lucky. There's no other way of connecting. Emergency number non existing. For luxury travel agency you'd expect a lot more...
Negative experience: Unless you know that everything is going to be ok...my advise is dont go with VP..however tempting the discount. When your holiday works it's good, when your holiday doesn't...I cannot think of a worse company to deal with......No Help at all, the emergency number given doesnt work at weekends and I'm still waiting to hear if I can get money back to the tune of 5K. if it's to good to be true...it generally is. I will not use them again.
Fantastic experience: Voyage Prive are the best! I can highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a luxury holiday at affordable prices with also peace of mind. This year we booked a trip to Turkey,but due to Covid restrictions changing every second we had to cancel in the last minute 10 hours before our flight. Voyage were professional and very responsive to us and gave us credit to use towards future trips. Great service and great online travel agency. Don’t hesitate book your trip with Voyage.
Negative experience: Lost our complete trips money - wouldn’t exchange for a new date as isolating due to Covid even though KLM would allow no fee flight change and referred us back to VP to make the change - Voyage Prive quoted booking clause 13.2 due to Covid we will not administer changes - WoW - great service guys especially having used many times
Negative experience: Can't contact them and I'm due to fly tomorrow. They took my money, cancelled my flights, promised to replace them and are now ignoring any contact I'm trying to make with them. DO NOT RISK YOUR MONEY. I've lost £3400, will have to go through my credit card to get it back.

Negative experience: I booked a holiday with this company last November. I chased for info in July. They sent an email at the beginning of August to say it was cancelled. I then booked elsewhere. Ten days later they said the holiday was not cancelled and asked me to pay the balance. They have now admitted their mistake but still expected me to go on the holiday. I told them I wouldn't be going because they had cancelled.. I have now had a call from the hotel in Greece asking where we are. Voyage Prive do not reply to emails, are completely unprfessional and incompetent. Does anyone have a phone number for them that doesn't cost the customer? Do not use them.for your holiday.
Negative experience: Terrible!! turned up to their recommended experience resort which was still being built and had no experiences. the service was awful, food awful, so we left after Hotel agreed to give a full refund but a month Later Voyage Prive still wont pay us back our refund. complete Joke and unbelievably unprofessional. Negative experience: Long term customer. They have my money and they cant even be bothered to answer emails or a telephone call. NEVER BOOK A HOLIDAY WITH THIS COMPANY!! Negative experience: My holiday got cancelled at the end of march due to the current situation with COVID19 and 8 weeks later I am still trying to talk to someone!!! I have sent numerous email with regards to a refund to be fobbed off with a credit voucher, extension of the voucher, letter of loss but no site of my refund. I have sent in excess of 20 emails to be told they are looking into this and then get a random one in French, very very poor. The number to call is expensive and you end up on hold for over an hours and still no joy. I am still awaiting a response from an email sent over a week ago. I have been extremely patient as im aware that there are other priorities at present but to still not get a refund 8 weeks later is appalling

Negative experience: AVOID. BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY AT YOUR PERIL. Booked the "luxury" package holiday from hell... unless you happen to enjoy mould, bed bugs and low flying planes. No communication from them following numerous complaints, now claiming from credit card provider as backup. Company miss-sold us a holiday with horrible consequences and admits no communication from their providers. I will continue to warn people off this company.

The holiday was completely mis-sold, nothing like as advertised on their website, they sent us to an airport 3 hours away from the hotel, even though there were 2 closer airports and I had to hire a car when I found out that the transfers that were supposed to be included would not travel that far! I tried to contact them twice via email which they did not respond to and then called then 11 times for advice, all calls went unanswered, ended up leaving early and checking into a different hotel - cost me an additional £400 on top of what I paid.
Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. They took our deposit, then changed the holiday and said we need to pay more, we refused so they took our deposit!? Their customer service do not help as they have no power. They said they will put in a request for the supervisor to call me back 'but they may not as they don't have to return calls' . I said I would wait on hold until they are available and they said they won't transfer a call. I called for over 8 weeks to try and rectify and they just kept repeating the same thing with nothing resolved. One employee even said he would call us back and then found out when I called days later that it was his last day! Completely avoid, I don't want to say its a scam but they are not safe to deal with.
Negative experience: AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - they accepted my holiday - paid in full - i rang the hotel to only be told the hotel closes the day after I arrive - now they are refusing to refund me the full amount! Classic !! WELL DONE YOU ARE NO1 IN THE WORST COMPANIES TO DEAL WITH!
Negative experience: Pretty poor Company avoid. Booked Hotel then travel independently. Contacted 3 days before departure saying Hotel not available. Alternative offered wholly unacceptable. Clearly they take punts on Hotels but not knowing wether they will be ready or not and do not tell you this. Awful Customer services, slow to refund Hotel costs and completely disinterested in consequential travel costs that are incurred in booking with them. Avoid!

Fantastic experience: Amazing company. Booked at least 4/5 holidays through them in the last few years, every hotel I’ve been to has been top quality. Even the 4 stars should all be 5, seems to be a good deal when you take in account transfers etc. Although prices have got higher since they first started but for what you get it’s amazing value for money in the deals they put together.
Negative experience: My partner and I recently returned from a holiday to Marrakesh (Be Live Collection - Adults Only). Voyage Prive advertise this as a 5*, lets put it this way, I have stayed in better Travelodge hotels in the UK. My issue doesn't just lie with the hotel but also with Voyage Prive for a number of reasons. 1. The round trip transfers we booked through them DID NOT arrive to collect us from the airport OR collect us from the hotel back to the airport, we had to make other arrangements both times. On return nearly resulting in a missed flight! 2. Hotel was far from 5* as advertised as listed below: i.e. Staff and customer service SHOCKING Flies constantly all over food everywhere - my partner actually got really sick and was bed bound for a whole day which resulted in us cancelling an excursion to Ouzoud waterfalls Cleaners left our hotel room door open one day after they had finished cleaning, with all our personal belongings inside Took about 20mins to get served a drink, the bar tender did not take note of someone who had been waiting for a long time and would serve someone that just arrived to the bar I hadn't previously mentioned this to VP but I also had a lipstick stolen from my makeup bag towards the end of the holiday which i regret and stupidly did not report to the hotel. 3. We still HAVE NOT been refunded our £80 deposit we had to pay on arrival at the hotel. 4. I emailed Voyage Prive customer relations whilst still on holiday to help with the above issues, I was promised a response 5 days ago by Kami, in which I have received nothing and I have had to chase for a response! I have booked through Voyage Prive a few times now and this is by far the worst experience I have had. If you advertise luxury accommodation and holidays, then you should do your upmost to research the actual accommodation, surely?! In this case, me and my partner received nothing more than a 3* experience and that's me being reasonable. Its been 3 months and VP still have not resolved the issues.
Negative experience: When things go wrong these guys just dont care. We booked an executive room with half borad, when we got to the hotel they said no you only have a standard room . Voyage prive were not very helpful, and i suspect they have colluded with the hotel on this one, but I have no proof! I have since been arguing with the hotel who have agreed a refund....something voyage refused to do. I had to contact the international head office of the hotel chain. Voyage Prive are useless, did not help one bit, even though they are responsible as they are the travel agent. Edit - The hotel agreed a refund which had to go through Voyage Prive. However Voyage have decided to keep the money!
Negative experience: This company should really get zero and be closed down. They are by far the worst customer service you will ever get if you try to book with them. You will end up paying extra charges by just calling them on their number, and they won't call back or email you - save your money and book with some other companies at least you know your travel issues will be taken care of. They are pathetic sad company hiding under "Voyage Prive" name disgraceful and unethical.
Negative experience: Absolutely awful experience. I selected a trip including flights for my anniversary only to receive a confirmation email showing they had booked the completely wrong flights! Wrong times and airports! After speaking with customer services for almost 3 hours and showing a screenshot to prove the mistake they still refused to amend or refund my booking. Complete nightmare! I had booked with them a few years back but they have gone completely down hill! Lost all standards
Negative experience: Booked a holiday in May. A few weeks before were told the hotel, Sea Side Resort (SSR) was overbooked and we would be moved to another hotel, Out of the Blue (OB). Never received any paperwork even though we chased continuously until we left. On arrival in Crete, was told by transfer company that we were going to OB. When we got there they had no booking for us so we got a taxi, at our own expense to SSR and stayed in a fairly empty hotel. Equally we had no transfer back to the airport as this had been arranged to pick us up from OB. We contacted VP and have heard nothing from them. We were eventually assisted by a lovely rep from Tui. I ADVISE YOU TO NEVER TRAVEL WITH VOYAGE PRIVE, TUI MUCH BETTER ALTERNATIVE.

Negative experience: Booked a holiday to Amsterdam in December, arrived in Feb and the hotel charged me the full amount of the hotel again due to a lack of communication between Voyage Prive and the hotel. As a result, I was £300 out of pocket for almost 3 weeks waiting for a refund. I had to constantly chase Voyage Prive on an update as they couldn't be bothered to contact me. As a young girl that lives alone and away from her parents, the stress the lack of money caused me from this situation was unacceptable. No compensation whatsoever was offered from the company, I was simply dismissed. To add to this horrific situation, due to me constantly calling them for an update, my phone provider charged me an additional £50 due to it being a 00800 number. Again, nothing was compensated or acknowledged. This situation was never my issue yet I was the one who was affected. Employ staff that actually care about their customers, the service is a riff off from start to finish. Avoid at all costs!
