Negative experience: It's a shame I have to submit one star because they deserve zero! We had a horrific experience booking with them from the flight to the hotel, it wasn't cheap at all and although it was supposed to be 5 stars in Hurghada, it wasn't more than 2. The flight was a disaster and the hotel facilities were shocking, from the maintenance to the food (which got us all sick). Their response to our complaint was a lengthy email which took 5 weeks to receive saying in short 'it is what it is'. We will never use them again. Ever.

Negative experience: We booked our honeymoon to the Grand Hotel in Sharm el Sheikh, This is supposed to be classed as a non smoking Hotel, However it is not, Everyone smokes where they want and even during the children's entertainment, The Hotel and its layout is Grand and most of the staff are very pleasant, by the way , The Entertainment is to 95% for other nationals and not British. If your a smoker I would Highly recommend, but if not ... Do not set foot in this Hotel, Even the Management do not listen, I complained to Red Sea Holidays about this but was fobbed of with them saying Egypt is a third world country and they have different rules.. ok then advertise it as a smoking Hotel .

Fantastic experience: I don't understand why the poor reviews... The second time we have booked our family holiday with this agent and we had a very good experience. Flights on time with TUI, representative in resort, hotel as described, and one of the cheapest options for Egypt. Keep up with the good work. Thank you, Red Sea Holidays, for 10 awesome days in the Makadi Bay area.

Negative experience: Overall the holiday was average, the hotel was beautiful but the food wasn't great. The boat was amazing and the food was very good. We had 10 free excursions which were part of the package these were ok. There were additional excursions available which you had to pay for, we chose to go to Abu simbel and the light and sound show, they were overpriced for what they were and we later found out that the Germans on the ship paid £40 less than we did, we drove across the dessert for almost 6 hours visited the tomb for 1 hour and drove back across the dessert for 6 hours back to the boat, our tour guide for the week, was rude, aggressive and was only interested in taking you to his friends shops to buy spices etc, so he could get commission. On the whole a mediocre experience which won't be repeated

Negative experience: PLEASE AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! Do not use this company!!! Terrible service!! Me and my partner went for a two week all inclusive holiday and left after 6 days due to poor food hygiene!!! Most of the guests were ill as could hear this through the walls !!! We were so ill that could not leave the room !!! Staff extremely rude !!! Could not get any medical help ! Waited 2 days for water to be brought to the room!! Customer service are horrific still in dispute since 2nd January. Even provided prescription and biopsy results and no compensation!!! Still waiting. Avoid at all costs !!!!

Fantastic experience: Booked though red sea holidays for a family holiday to Egypt for 2 weeks. Best decision I ever made, they were fantastic. I hadn't booked for hotel transfer though on arrival there were seats available and they offered to take me us for free and also on return which such a nice gesture. Their agent will meet you personally at the hotel and give you any help and advice. We booked a 2 day excrusion to Cairo and it was fantastic especially Emad he was a great guy. Also we booked many other trips and was extreamly happy their tour guide Ahmed he is a wonderful person. Their prices are fantastic and I truly recommended to anyone thinking of booking through red sea holidays.

Negative experience: The worse holiday I have ever been on lost my case had no clothes for the 14 days there none of the representatives were interested customer service absolutely discussing food was NOT great all the waiters and representatives were interested is getting money from you. The hotel was disgusting the bed pillows smelt of sweat and were yellow stained the room looked liked it had never been cleaned after last visits complained they changed the bedding but the smell was in the pillow and mattress and you could still smell it so I slept on a towel on top of the bed. Asked for a different room was not interested never go back there again. Put a complaint into Redsea on return not interested no clothes dirty rooms food disgusting.

Negative experience: Fraudulent company, false advertise at it’s maximum. When you complain the hotel management agrees that the website has false advertisement and the facilities that are advertised are non-existent, they claim Egypt is all the same and although hotels are advertised as 4-5* to expect 1* which is actually not true if you book elsewhere Egypt is lovely and does have some amazing hotels just this company wants you to believe 1* service and facilities is the standard as that is all they provide. Do not book a Red Sea holiday or hotel, you can find cheaper holidays with actual 4-5* hotels which are true to their description.

Negative experience: Very poor service from this company. Family holiday grand makadi hotel. Nothing GRAND stained mattresses really bad tile’s missing in pools no kids club. When complained to Red Sea one reply saying no one else had problems. Would not recommend this company

Fantastic experience: I have just had a week's cruise on The Nile onboard The Emilio Prestige followed by a week in The Iberotel in Luxor and it was the best holiday in my life. My travel agent booked everything and my daughter and I were delighted with the attention to detail and all the staff that we came into contact with. I am recovering from Cancer at the back of my tongue and cannot eat any solid food. The staff were great in giving me hot water to make up my feeds with, cleaning my feeding syringes etc., giving me lots of yoghurts to mix with cartons of milk etc. They could not do enough and did not make me feel awkward even when I fed in various parts of the boat and hotel grounds. My feeding tube upsets some people but they just accepted that this was me. The tour guide we had on board for all our trips was called Waheed and he was brilliant. If we asked a uestion he didn't know the answer to, he found out for us. On all the tours he was just so knowledgable and really took great care of me. I am now looking to book again for next year (2024) and hope we get Waheed again as well as the same boat and hotel. Since I saw the moving of the Abu Simbel temples asa young child I wanted to visit Egypt and have a lifelong interest in the history. May 1st this year was me finally getting there.

Negative experience: Really disappointed to find out you can't reserve seats with extra leg room via TUI. When I complained I was told I should have read the small print or telephoned before I booked. Maybe they should make this clear on the website. On the plus side they did refund my deposit, so credit there

Negative experience: Very poor information about the various hotels and their amenities or lack of, plus the prices are much higher than those offered on the comparison sites. They try to push you to book the flights with them, don't. The hotels they offer are far from the best available, I have been to the Red Sea many times and I have never booked with them, I guess that says something. I immediately removed their app from my device because other companies offer better for less. The red sea area has many good hotels and competition is tough, however make sure you check all of the details across many sites, because they lie a lot.

Fantastic experience: Lovely one week holiday cruise down the Nile on the MS Iberotel Crown Emperor - Our Red Sea Rep Mohsen Zaki was very friendly and made our hoilday special - food very good hats off to the chef's - can't fault the cleanliness - nothing to much for any of the staff - our waiter Michael spot one and Raul the bar man top deck and main bar all ways very friendly - all the 10 trips is worth going on as these are in the price - we went on the early morning sun raise air balloon ride this was well worth the money, Then a week at The Makadi Palace in Hurghada this hotel was beautiful just as we remembered it spotless - great location next to the shops and the sports bar - Cheers to Red Sea for another great Holiday :-)

Negative experience: Horrendous customer service! Large multi family booking got curtailed by covid, many mixed messages and promises made and then broken they are insisting we go away with them or lose all our money. They have no compassion, no understanding of circumstances, they don't care that situations have changed in the last two years they just want to keep as much money as they can! Avoid at all costs!

Negative experience: PLEASE, PLEASE do not book through this company. We booked a 5* hotel in Sharm. Without notification they amended the hotel and booked us into a hotel at lot lower standard. It was very underhand and they could not find any email etc to show the booking had changed. Whilst i'm not usually a 5* holiday maker - this was for a very special occasion. The monetary value between the holidays would be apprx £1200. We have never received the difference back between the quality of the hotels although it is very clear on the website (One is rated 5* the other 3* )Never received any form of apology. I found Red Sea at best underhand, but more than likely fraudulent in this transaction.

Negative experience: Red Sea have been very good in the past but are clearly in a terrible financial situation as they said it would take 12 weeks for a refund this has now past and said it will at least be another 8 weeks this is against the law and I will be reporting the company to trading standards and abta I have traveled many times with them before but I would strongly recommend not going with them now as there customer services is now shocking

Fantastic experience: My partner & I booked with Red Sea holidays through Hays travel in Sept 19. We got a fantastic deal at a 5* All inclusive resort The Sunwing Makadi in Makadi Bay,, Hurgahda and it was amaizing. The resort was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay. The rooms were very spacious and cleaned daily. Food and drinks were great and I will definitely be booking with Red Sea travel again. Highly recommend

Negative experience: NEVER USE THIS CRIMINAL COMPANY. They will take your money, cancel and never provide a refund which your are legally entitled to by law. They won’t talk to you, in fact just ignore you and will try to bully you into taking credit notes through your booking agent. They also lie about facts through booking agents, Credit notes are not ATOL protected, I don’t have to take credit note to get a refund, it’s the law, I don’t have to take a credit note to be ATOL protected. All lies. I asked for a refund 2 months ago and they are refusing. BE WARNED DO NOT USE.

Positive experience: First trip to Egypt and first experience of an all inclusive resort. Stayed at Titanic Beach and Aqua Park. Perfect choice for a chilled break after Xmas. We chose this hotel for its water park and beach access. Kids loved the pools, and snorkelling fantastic off the pier. Red sea rep Ahmed was good, met at airport OK for transfer and could be contacted anytime. We had access to titanic palace too which was just next door. Family room was big and large walk in shower, decor seen better days and had trouble locking door but it was resolved quickly. No English channels on TV. Cleaned daily and safe in room. We were there for new years eve and hotel put on an impressive gala night of food and entertainment. Pool bar and beach bar served lunches, chips, burgers, pizzas etc which was good to get away from the usual buffet style restaurants. Choice of Egyptian foods, wide range of breads, salads, meats, pasta etc. The hotel did well to cater for so many people! Staff bit over eager to take your plates away while still eating, couldn't work out if they were short of plates or just trying to look busy! Generally staff were happy and had to put up with a lot of rude customers at times. Towels appeared on sunbeds at crack of dawn. So imagine it would be busy pool side in the summer. Towels provided. Dive and trips can be booked through red sea when there or local operators at the beach. Spa and trip sales people always scouting for sales round pool which was annoying but tended not to bother you so much after a while and if based away from the pool bar main sunbeds. Clean resort, everyone always seemed to be cleaning, no insects or stray dogs. Staying in resort was like living in a bubble. Left resort for one trip from hurghada marina, managed to see dolphins and snorkel. Be prepared for lots of security checks at airport on way home and inefficient systems and expensive food/water. Would recommend titanic beach and titanic palace, temp in Dec was around 22, so perfect for some much needed sun. Hope to return to Egypt again one day.

Negative experience: I called red sea holidays as l heard they were offering direct flights to Sharm el Sheikh from Birmingham. Its the first direct flight since the awful attack on a Russian plane. After having a look on the website they had package holidays starting from around £1200 upwards. None of the hotels took my fancy so l called them and asked for a price for flights only. To my disbelief they quoted me £1300 for 2 tickets. Where did the Director get this figure from did he/she think l was going on a world tour? How do they expect people go back to Sharm with all the troubles there recent and past on those prices. Ridiculous.....

Negative experience: Booked our holiday with them to Hurgada in Dec 2018. Our Hotel was Sunwing waterworld makadi bay 5star. Whilst we we're there, we we experienced many problems. Hotel were unwilling to help the managing showed no interestand didn't seem to care about the concerns we had. Kept saying we need to contact our rep. We couldn't get hold of the Rep. When we got back we complained to Red sea holiday and they just fobbed us off! Issues we had: heated pool water was very cold, buffet food was awful and tasteless, childrens club was empty and the 2 staff that didn't speak english and didn't seem enthusiastic to entertain our children. My 8yr old son got ill and spent a day in hospital (vomit and diarrhoea) after he ate there food. Red Sea Holiday not taking any responsibility of the loss of enjoyment. We booked a 5star and it was more like a 1 star! Management need to focus on customer service.

Fantastic experience: Recently back from a brilliant holiday at the Makadi Spa. We chose the Makadi Spa on their recommendation and we were not disappointed. The Hotel is spectacular with excellent views of the Red Sea. We would definitely look to book with Red Sea Holidays again.

Fantastic experience: We did a quick review on our mobile as we left, but feel compelled to review further to do our experience a proper justice and hopefully help anyone thinking of visiting. The Makadi Spa continues to be THE place for us. We’ve tried many other places over the years and we have no desire to return to any of them. Our holiday is our single biggest expense of the year and we work really hard to be able to go away. The Makadi Spa has provided us with a perfect holiday every time. We thoroughly enjoyed everything all inclusively. We like a holiday where we can mix and match depending upon how we feel on the day and this was easy. We could laze around by one of the pools, selecting sun or shade. The staff serve drinks to your loungers and also bring fruit salads and ice cold flannels. Sometimes we would wander around the beautiful gardens or along the beach front. We also took advantage of the various facilities in the adjoining hotels (also all inclusive). I really enjoyed the snorkelling right outside the hotel and if you walk to the right slightly, you can walk into the sea on the sand instead of using the jetty and see some amazing fish even where the water is only waist deep. We were there in January and could easily sunbathe from 830am until 430pm. We were on the left hand side as you look out to sea and got the sun on our balcony all day. Being adults only was a big plus for us with no children spoiling the peace and quiet (we’ve had our kids). There’s also no annoying music in the resort or irritating aquarobics to disco beats! There’s more than you could ever wish for regarding restaurants with so many different cuisines. Everyone seemed so happy, relaxed and chilled-out all the time. A special thank you to Suman Sharma (hostess) with her beautiful smile for always being so helpful, warm and welcoming. Effortless professionalism from Maged, Orabi and Abd (fo). Thank you Amr (Leo’s) you are a special man. Ahmed (Assistant Head Waiter) really made our breakfast and Shimmers visits extra special. We always come away believing that it’s more than just a job to the staff, everyone seems so intent on ensuring that you have a great experience and we always have a fantastic one. No other place like it for us and no need to try anywhere else now. Thank you so very much to everyone at The Makadi Spa for always providing the ingredients for the perfect holiday recipe! See you January 2019!!

Fantastic experience: It's a shame to read some of these poor reviews as our family has been away four or five times with Red Sea to Makadi Palace and Sun Wing hotels, and had amazing holidays every time. Are people really that stupid that they think they are going to stay at a 'proper' five star hotel when Red Sea Holidays are charging less that £500pp for a week all inclusive inc flights, hotels & transfers!! That said the hotels are in my opinion a decent 4* with fantastic facilities, amazing water slides (Sun Wing Hotel) and fantastic snorkeling from the beach. In terms of VALUE FOR MONEY it's rock solid for a family with young kids and I highly recommend.

Negative experience: This company are advertising dangerous and homophobic hotels claiming they are 5 star when they are far from it. When you complain they have no interest and just want to charge you more money. When you complain they side with the hotel despite you giving them every opportunity! Don't go near them....

Negative experience: I have used redsea holidays for the last 5 years for going away on holiday and they have been brilliant. This comes as a shock to me as I'm writing this from a hospital bed, myself and my partner were supposed to fly out to Egypt on the 11th November when I got rushed in to hospital on the 9th with a blocked stomach making me vomit. I phoned redsea holidays to see if it was possible to change the date to the following week but they declined. Myself and my partner have a a terrible year and as a last minute treat we were looking forward to a break as I had been diagnosed with cancer earlier in the year and this was agreed by my doctor before I carried on with my treatment. Going forward I will not be using or recommending redsea holidays to anyone again
