TUI Holiday Store

Negative experience: Went in to get some help and advice on prices and deals for winter holidays and were told to look on the website instead as “everything is there”. Sometimes you want to talk to a real human being and surely this is why you go into a travel agency rather than use their website. The member of staff was quite dismissive when my wife tried to ask questions, told us to look on the website again and gave us some brochures as a consolation gesture. We clearly interrupted a nice chat the staff were having when we walked in.

Fantastic experience: Thank you so very much to Carla and the team. I didn't wish to cancel my holiday, but need a few extra days, due to medical reasons, to know for sure if I can actually travel. I nearly didn't ask as I didn't think anything could be done, as I could have gone through insurance and cancelled. After Carla had a discussion with the Manager I was informed that the date to pay the final balance would be extended a few days to give me the time I needed to be able to make a final decision. Carla and the team all were so happy for me and I was very overwhelmed. I would definitely book any future holidays with them. Can't thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my partner went in store this morning with no definite decision as to where we wanted to go. We spoke with Carla Whitehead who was amazing! She was very polite and made us feel very relaxed with conversations flowing. We felt at ease and all our enquiries were met. She was very knowledgable and patient, she was also very happy to share personal experiences at destinations to further help us make a decision…we can be quite fussy! Overall, a great experience.

Negative experience: Went in store to order some travel money spoke to a young woman who wrote down what I wanted and would pass this onto the right person and advise it will be here the following Tuesday,on Wednesday my wife rang up to check if the money was there and was told YES IT WAS ,I when in Friday to be told they had no money and no order in my name. The cashier then reordered the Money for the following Tuesday,on returning on that Tuesday was inform my money had not been delivered. If you don’t want stress or hassle before your holiday don’t go to this place

Negative experience: Ordered Barbados dollars last Sunday got phone call Monday will be in Friday go in today sat no dollars and no record of order incompetent doesn't cover it no apology offered no explanation rubbish service don't use

Negative experience: Ordered currency last sunday said it would be in store tuesday,got a phone call monday asking what I had ordered and that it would now be in store friday 1st November. Went to collect Saturday lunchtime no record of request or currency. Every one had a reason why not there like it's not in the book,no apologies shoddy service no wonder they have a notice on counter about rude behaviour will not be tolerated. If this is the service you get can understand peoples behaviour. Luckily ex Thomas cook rep came to rescue and sourced currency from m&s great service. Some training required at tui will never use again amateurs
