After finding the process of looking at a Disneyland Paris trip online a little confusing, I called up TUI, and Lauren was nothing but helpful, patient, and personable. I can’t thank her enough for the assistance with our holiday! I highly recommend going to Lauren if you’re stuck or getting confused while booking a holiday online. Thanks again, Lauren!

Negative experience: This agency made a complete mess with my family's luggage allowance when booking our flights. It took them 3 days to realize, they admitted to the mistake, but were unable to offer any help or refund. I don't think I have ever dealt with more incompetent travel agents than Jay, Julie and Tanya. I am going to file a formal complaint.

Fantastic experience: So I came from London for a shopping trip with my daughter to Reading and just happen to go past the Tui store. We got a warm welcome from all the staff I asked a young man who I now know as Anthony if it was appointment only he said warmly no and invited us to sit down. Well over 2 hours later which involved alot jokes and laughing and a change of country from New York to Turkey we booked. Thankyou to Anthony and his colleagues for an amazing experience in the Reading Tui store today. These people are a credit to your company, but the person that shone out was Anthony, he did an amazing job to find us the perfect holiday! We definitely come up from London just for Anthony to book another holiday.xxx

Negative experience: Never go here! Terrible customer service (for example opening the shop late then making us wait with two small children while they finished a team meeting which appeared to just consist of criticing their colleagues), incompetent staff (if you can operate a search engine you are already more qualified) and ripped us off for a package that was 30% more expensive than one I found after on their website which hit more of our criteria. When I asked to change, received "computer says no" response and I had to come up with ways to resolve.

Negative experience: Avoid this branch like the coronavirus. Jade showed the upmost disrespect to myself and my partner when we visited after speaking to her colleague over the phone and were advised to pop-in branch and speak to Jade. We travelled 30mins, paid for parking to be sat in front of her for approx 10mins whilst she stopped all interactions with us after her greeting us to come over. We eventually got up to leave and were not even show any level of customer service, Empathy or respect. Left in shock.

Fantastic experience: Georgia was efficient, friendly, considerate. Aware of our needs especially my profoundly deaf daughter. So our requirements have been addressed.

Fantastic experience: I attended the TUI reading store to amend a previous booking. I had the pleasure of dealing with a great young man called Derice. He really helped the process go smoothly. All of the different options were discussed thoroughly and the changes that i needed were implemented with ease. This young man is a total credit to TUI, and his customer service skills were fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service both when booking and after sales. Couldn't get the holiday I wanted using the TUI (CrystalSki) website, was lucky enough to be connected to Pam when I phoned customer service line. Quick, efficient, provided me with the holiday I wanted and checked all the details. Followed up 5 months later with an email to confirm a flight time change - a much better service than the automated TUI/Crystal email which ended up in Junk mail. Very good level of service. Would thoroughly recommend this branch and the staff.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Tanya and the staff at Tui, I enjoyed a relaxing and carefree off-peak holiday to Malta, carefully planned and prepaid before hand. There were no hidden charges, all mini buses turned up promptly, the hotel had the best location on the bay. The Maltese folk culture night was superb and great value. Everything was in our budget and we saw in a short time some wonderful things. I thoroughly recommend the Tui branch in Reading.

Fantastic experience: Incredible Customer Service!! We live in Newbury but decided to pop into Tui Reading to discuss a holiday. We normally book holidays with British Airways and an Independent travel Company and have also starting visiting some other independent travel companies as well as we really value knowledge and the customer care they provide. However on our first visit we booked with the independent travel agents but we were blown away by the Store Manager Julie. So we decided this bank holiday to book a Christmas/New Year getaway and remembered how good a service Julie gave us so we decided to take a visit in the hope of seeing Julie. I had already initiated contact with a very reputable Independent travel agents but was still waiting for a reply after nearly a week of sending an email. Julie was very helpful and discussed with us our options from our requirements but also eliminated options if the requirements didn't match by using tripadvisor. Everything Martin and I discussed and might have concerns about without any hesitation Julie acted on them. So much so she even called the hotel direct to find out for us!! We realised after a while it was near to closing but also I needed to pop to get a few bits before the shops closed.Julie kindly offered for us to go and think about it and get our bits and she would be willing to stay as long as it took if we wanted to book!!! Absolutely outstanding service Julie. We had to go home as we had limited parking time. Once home we checked the hotel and discussed the holiday. I was able to find the holiday with British Airways for a little less, and the flights being slightly better as well BUT Julie's service was so amazing we have booked with Tui for the first time ever!! Julie is very inspiring and an an absolute credit to your company thank you so much for all you help ❤

Fantastic experience: Tanya booked our upcoming holiday for us and can't thank her enough...we are fussy travellers with set criteria and she managed to find us a fabulous adults only resort in Cyprus which ticks all our boxes and took the stress of booking away for us! Fantastic experience: Having spent over 3 weeks liaising with TUI Customer Services to clarify why I paid a room supplement of £508 on an online booking and to confirm the actual room we will be allocated on arrival to the Fives Hotel in Mexico in March as the room description on the TUI website does not match any room type on the Fives website, I was so frustrated to keep going around in circles being passed over the different departments because the TUI holiday sold me a BA flight, only to be told by 4 separate Customer Services Agents that they could NOT confirm the room type and suggested I personally contact the hotel for clarification. Why should I? Surely, TUI know what room type they sold me and charged an extra £508 supplement. Fed up with Customer Services at Head Office, I decided to visit the local TUI shop in Reading. What a difference I received in Customer Services from the very courteous, professional and efficient young lady "Jess". She took down all my booking details and actually called the hotel whilst I was in the shop at 11.45 am. Unfortunately, Mexico is 6 hours behind the UK and the hotel could not help her and asked her to call back. Jess said she would contact them again and come back to me. I left the shop. The following day I received an email from Jess confirming that she had spoken to the hotel, they had retrieved my booking and confirmed which room will be allocated to us on arrival. How easy is that TUI Head office. Perhaps TUI you should train your Head Office Customer Services Staff as you do Store Staff as Jess certainly went above and beyond to provide fantastic customer service. Thank you Jess.

Fantastic experience: Nothing short of amazing! Me and my partner went into the branch to book our honeymoon for November 2023. They were swift at finding us places to stay around the world. And we landed a 14 night honeymoon in Saint Lucia with the amazing help and support of Tanya. And a big thanks to Jess for getting us really good quotes at the start of the process. Can’t wait to go! Fantastic experience: I came in with my girlfriend to buy some US Dollars for our trip abroad the other day and were greeted with a smile by a member of staff named Jess, who took a great interest in our holiday, whilst being charming and helpful along the way. We explained where we were visiting for our holiday and she explained to us that it some instances, it may also be worth taking their local currency as well as US Dollars, and that they had some in store. She even went out of the way to tell us the conversion rate despite not actually working on the travel money kiosk. Overall, a really attentive and helpful member of staff who aided us in our planning! Furthermore, the lady (whose name I can't remember, sadly) was very thorough and fast in printing our money for us! Overall, a really good experience!

Fantastic experience: I love going into the tui store reading, Becky booked our holiday today to Morocco, so helpful as we wasn’t sure where to go so she gave us some ideas so we went for Morocco, every time we go in there she treats us as if we are the most important people in the world, keep it up.

Fantastic experience: Not one to write reviews however I feel I need to make a special shout-out to the lovely lady in the tui branch in reading town centre. I passed the store and cheekily went in to speak about entry requirements when I walked in this lady (her name I think was Becky) approached me and asked me to take a seat and asked what she could help with! Basically she knew I hadn’t booked with tui however she was still just as helpful and friendly and made me feel like I never want to book anywhere else. When I left she told me to have a lovely holiday and come back in when you return to let us know how your holiday went! I don’t think you ever forget the way people make you feel and I will certainly return to that store just for that same feeling .. I no longer feel anxious about going away with the family and really exciting for my upcoming holiday thank you .. you will see me again!

Fantastic experience: This morning I went into the Reading branch of Tui, straight away I was greeted with a smile and help! I explained that was looking to find out costing of a holiday, Becky sat me down and we started chatting about what I had in mind which she straight away started looking into. Becky was very relaxed and easy to talk too. She was very patient as during the meeting I was messaging my other half as they where at work, but wanted to get their thoughts. We found the perfect holiday!! We booked it and I was so excited as it's the first time our children will be going abroad. The next part was a little bit more challenging as i wanted to book a holiday for me and my partner (adult only, again Becky was very relaxed and i did not feel under pressure to book as I needed to be sorted some things and we where not sure on location. The lovely thing about Becky was that she had loads of knowledge and experience of different places and you could tell she loved her job. I did have to leave the store to sort a few things, but she was very understanding. Later that day i called back to book and her phone service was just as amazing! The over all look of the staff and store was good and Becky was amazing. Thank you so much!
