Fantastic experience: Great service always getting better. Not always perfect with timetable or google maps and bus route timetables. Removed a lot of teleprompters from bus stops. Typical of public transport of having to share your journey with other passengers but that is what public transport is. I have one good suggestion with the tap on terminals maybe to encourage more people to use public transport is to do what the train line does and charge you for the distance of your journey with a tap on and tap off system and not the full fare depending on distance travel like back when you could pay to travel 1,23-4 or full fare journeys

Fantastic experience: Can I just congratulate one of your drivers Dawn Daniell who helped me out on Monday evening at Ikea bus stop I had purchased a rug and I needed to travel to Southcote via number 26 bus route and was told by male driver I could not travel on bus because rug would not fit into blue bag provided by ikea although bus empty and likely to stay that way for my short journey. Feeling quite desperate and vulnerable when Dawn pulled up shortly after around 6.30pm she assessed the situation and used common sense and decided it would be safe for me to travel with my rug as long as I. Didn't block the ilsle which was not a problem as bus empty and remained so throughout my journey, her main concern was for my personal safety and she pointed out it was hardly like trying to carry a wardrobe onto bus. Thank goodness some of your staff can exercise discretion and common sense whilst delivering a good customer led service. Again I would be grateful for you to pass on my appreciation to Dawn for her kindness. I believe good service should be recognised.

Negative experience: Extremely poor customer service. No care given for bus not turning up. They don’t care as clearly have monopoly over the service.

Negative experience: Very rude lady who has no interest in helping and told me to buy season tickets online and all the info is up there. This office is literally empty most of the day, Reading buses please close this office as it does not pay its own way and use the money where it is needed. Pay your drivers more and get rid of useless operations like this one

Positive experience: Good bus service from Reading, although only for its urban area. For nearby towns, you have to take other companies. The customer service at Brias Street Mall is very good.

Negative experience: Not so much a rant about the driver or bus itself. There were a few underage drunk Charlton football supporters at back of the bus chanting songs but also damaging the bus, intimidating children and even resorted to racist chanting against someone of Asian descent. I refused to stay on the bus and went down to speak to the driver and Marshall to get police attention but they did nothing. This despite the bus not having yet departed the stadium bus stop in Reading. Shameful handling of a frankly appalling and chilling event. I hope Reading buses try escalate this incident and look back at CCTV or consider seperating rival fans for bus travel.

Positive experience: The bus service in Reading is excellent despite the heavy traffic. A wide choice of routes, and the buses have Wi-Fi and charging points. Many of the buses are 'green' and are gas powered providing a cleaner air quality. The drivers are polite and appear very happy in their work. We'll done Reading buses.
