Negative experience: Stay a mile away from this company! Best At Travel is nothing but a thieving outfit hiding behind a facade of respectability. My experience with them has been an absolute nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn others. I booked a business class travel package through Best At Travel, which included an 8-day stay in Malaysia and a 7-day stay in Singapore, flying with Etihad Airways on the 20th of June. The total cost of this package was a staggering £17,800.00. Tragically, a few weeks ago, my wife was diagnosed with a serious medical condition, along with other serious complications. Due to her condition, we had no choice but to cancel our travel plans. I informed Best At Travel of our need to cancel three weeks before our departure date, hoping for some understanding and compassion. Despite explaining our dire situation and requesting a partial refund on compassionate grounds, the company coldly denied my request. Their lack of empathy and unwillingness to even consider a partial refund is appalling. The sudden diagnosis has placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on our family, and a partial refund, less any applicable cancellation fees, would have greatly alleviated some of our burdens during this challenging time. I reached out to Rita Sharma, the CEO and Director of Best At Travel PLC, hoping for some humanity and understanding, but received none. This company's behaviour has been nothing short of heartless, and their refusal to assist in any way is a testament to their true nature. If you value your peace of mind and your money, do not use Best At Travel. They clearly do not value their customers and are only interested in taking your money, regardless of the circumstances. Save yourself the distress and stay far away from this company.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Herbert Yaweh for organising our holiday to Phuket, Thailand in March. We stayed at the Slate Hotel in Naih Yang. It was one of the best holidays we have been on. The hotel was fantastic and the staff we're very friendly and efficient and the breakfast was amazing. Herbert advised us to go bed and breakfast only, and he was correct, as the cost of eating outside of the hotel is a lot cheaper. We had a few changes in our flights, due to Emirates changing the flight time's but Herbert managed to sort everything out for us. I would definitely use this company again .

Fantastic experience: Have used Best at Travel a few times, once for a trip to India, Vietnam, Brazil, and recently to Sri lanka. Never fail to give us a seamless itinerary. The organisation in the run-up is easy with lots of suggestions being made, and on the ground the trips have been seamless. If you’re visiting multiple places where you’re having to book flights, transfers and entrance into various attractions, then consider using Best at Travel. Massive thanks to Maria Sabalova!

Fantastic experience: I can not praise Jack and Evonne in customer services enough. They both went above and beyond to help us in a very difficult situation with a positive outcome. I am eternally grateful to them both. So glad we chose to book through Best At Travel.

Negative experience: Poor and exceptionally slow service. Agents have no interest in promptly helping you to book a holiday. I’ve had a query with them for over 2 months, the delay between responses back from them are around 7-10 days. I chased up yesterday after not hearing anything for 4 days only to find the agent had now gone on holiday. The reason for so much bank and forth was because the agent hadn’t read the flight details properly which led to transfers being to and from the wrong airport. When I highlighted this, instead of the agent trying to find the correct flight details herself I had to resend them to her! Highly highly disorganised. Lastly, their prices aren’t even cheaper (from ones I saw) than what you see on other websites anyway so there really is no reason to use them!!

Negative experience: Absolutely awful customer service. So rude and arrogant. Booking a holiday should be a lovely experience, I’m not quite sure how ‘best at travel’ can make that so utterly miserable instead. I decided to book elsewhere in the end. Spend your money with an agency who values their customers. Kenwood are lovely and cheaper!

Fantastic experience: I came across Best at Travel Early February, when we were booking a trip to Dubai. We knew the flights and hotel and rooms we wanted, so pretty straight forward but Best at Travel were a lot cheaper than Emirates Holidays who we used previously. Jack Stean was the consultant we dealt with, he has now provided us with informed information on hotel choices to other resorts, we have now been to Maldives and are looking forward to Thailand, the trips have gone without a hitch. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: We had a pleasant stay at the hotel in New York from 13th-19th November. The front of house and rooms were excellent, but the bar staff could use improvement. The bar food at the Hilton was of poor quality. Our experience with Best at Travel was great. They were accommodating and hassle-free. We will definitely use their services again. The outbound flight with American Airways was very good, and the inbound flight was with British Airways.

Gabie has sorted & arranged our past few holidays over the last few years & she never, repeat never, ceases to amaze how knowledgeable, patient & truly efficient she really is. On this occasion she both recommended & arranged everything for my party to the Fives Resort in Playa del Carmen. Gabie's recommendations are uniquely second to none & they always exceed my greatest expectations. I cannot overstate exactly how good Gabie is at looking after her customers. Nothing, but nothing is ever too much trouble for her & she always, instantaneously, has a positive answer to any queries that I have, whether they be big or small. I had the pleasure of booking with Maria who went above and beyond to ensure that the resort we selected would meet our expectations & that we had all the travel documents required to travel seamlessly. My own experience has been excellent - Herbert Yaweh organised a wonderful honeymoon for us. Everything went absolutely smoothly - no issues whatsoever. Herbert took the time to listen to us, recommended a few different options and gave us plenty of time to decide. Fantastic experience: I booked a trip to Mauritius departing in August 2022 The trip was excellent value for money. I checked multiple times at poit of sale and in the months after and never saw a better price for my trip. The sales consultants gave excellent guidance on flights which meant I had even more time in country than I thought my budget stretched to. The services ran as expected and I was kept up to date throughout. Heritage Awali in Mauritius offers great value for All Inclusive. My children told me multiple times this was their best holiday (although camping trips in the UK were their benchmark for the past 2 years due to Covid!) Paying balance was very simple through an online portal. Overall I highly recommend Best At Travel to give you the best rate available on the market.

I stayed at Atmosphere Kanifushi and had an unbelievable time, the team at Best At Travel were patient, quick and incredibly knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: We have just got back today from 10 days in Dominican Republic staying at Dreams hotel in Punta Cana. It was really fantastic, never been anywhere exotic like that before so didn’t know what to expect. From the price, the paperwork, the transfers, the hotel and the return back home it was hassle free and Best at Travel dealt with it all. We didn’t even have to phone the transfer company (which we decided to have a private transfer) to check that they still had us booked for our return journey, which previous holidays we have had to. I can’t thank them enough for making our special holiday (that was for our 25th wedding anniversary) so enjoyable and stress free. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: Impressed by the service provided so far, used the travel agency before for a family holiday and everything was as promised and up to expectations. Currently dealing with Lauren Barnes. Lauren made arrangements for our holiday in February. So far Lauren, has been so efficient, she replied to my e mails straight away and was also ready to answer all my queries. It’s outstanding that although we have paid the holiday off, we still get assistance straight away and we are not left to it. Very reliable travel agent.

Fantastic experience: Have just been reading some of the reviews and felt that I should add a little something to the fray. I would hate to have me as a customer. I''m not demanding but I like efficiency and need accurate information and, of course, good prices. I also don't like the wool pulled over my eyes. I had never heard of this company until January 2015 when a friend suggested I gave them a ring because he felt (having used them for the previous 5 years) they were likely to better the prices I had been given for a 20 day holiday at the Ritz Carlton (pardon theme dropping!) in Dubai. I knew that the chances were minimal but gave them a ring anyway. The initial quote I received from my airline who also have a major travel division (excluding flights) was £13565. The hotel itself told me that I could book it directly with them and they would give me a great price and quoted me £9400 and I thanked them profusely. I was amazed at that discount not least I had been paying the airline travel division for the past 5 years and assumed I was getting a great price. I then phoned Best at Travel and they quoted me £7500. No...I couldn't believe it either and I have since recommend loads of friend. The service is always friendly and it has to be said that I initially thought I was dealing with a small company and then looked them up and their turnover is circa £180m. With respect to many "poor reviews", I submit it says much more about the reviewer than it does the company being reviewed. (Much the same as those silly reviewers who might give a 5 star deluxe hotel that they've never stayed at 1 star because a restaurant in that hotel couldn't give them a seat one night! Big recommendation!

Fantastic experience: We booked our honeymoon through best at travel and we returned home 1 week ago. Our honeymoon was absolutely incredible! We flew to the Maldives where we had to transfer flights at Dubai and get a sea plane transfer to our island and back, we then also stayed in Dubai for a week on returning home. Everything went so smoothly, all transfers and flight times connected well. The island that was suggested we stayed in the maldieves was paradise! We took our own advise on our hotel in Dubai which we were equally as satisfied with! Best at travel we're so helpful with any queries and always emailed me back quickly!
