Fantastic experience: I'm just back from the most incredible trip to the Selous and Zanzibar. When I decided to go off on safari earlier this year I had no idea where to start- but Roseanne and the team at Abamabo were simply amazing. Roseanne listened to all my ideas and created the prefect itinerary, looking after every detail and being so thoughtful, kind and helpful every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble and her expertise meant that I had an absolute dream holiday, and so much more for my budget than I imagined was possible. Thank so much Rose, and to Val and the rest of the team who made it such a perfect experience- genuinely a holiday I will remember forever :)

Fantastic experience: Our experience of Abambo travel could not have been better. Presented with a budget and a very tight timeline Rose Cobb and her team did a fantastic job setting up what was a holiday of a lifetime. From conception to departure date was only 10 days and they worked very hard to understand what we wanted and asked all the right questions regarding priorities and preferences. Rose's own experience and travels with her own family gave us the confidence that she knew what would work and what would not with our own young family (2 boys 8 & 6) and her guidance proved very accurate. The 2 lodges we ended up staying in were perfect, beautiful and breathtaking in their own ways, and the experiences in each of them were wonderfully varied - just as we had discussed we were looking for in detail over the phone a few days earlier. Having the Abambo team at the end of the phone gave us the reassurance we needed to self-drive (by choice) several hundred kilometres including in some fairly remote areas. Excellent driving directions were sent to us in plenty of time. (Flying and transfer options were offered but we wanted a bit more of our own adventure!) After our holiday Rose was quick to contact us for feedback and it is clear Abambo takes the experience of their customers very seriously. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else looking for an amazing holiday in Africa. (In case of interest our first lodge was in the Madikwe reserve, the other was in the Waterberg region, both South Africa).

Fantastic experience: Our family has taken 3 safari trips to Eastern Africa, none was more memorable that this 4th trip in June 2016, which Rose from Abambo organized for us. Rose is the most thorough and thoughtful trip organizer we have ever worked with. On our longest safari yet, my family travelled to five countries in southern Africa. After a short stop in Johannesburg, we walked with orphan cheetahs and scouted leopard in Okonjima, Namibia. We hiked to the top of the largest sand dunes in the world in Soussvlei. We searched for elephant herds, hyena, and lions in the Moremi Game Reserve. We boated through and flew over hippo trails and croc dens in the Okavango Delta. The only reason our border crossings went smoothly was because of Abambo. We crossed into Zambia by water taxi to visit Mosi-oa-Tunya (Victoria Falls) the "smoke that thunders", walked into Zimbabwe to Victoria Bridge and jumped off. We rode helicopters into the mist of the Falls, dipped into gorges, and flew over an elephant swimming. Then we finally relaxed for a few breaths under some Waterberry trees, watched baboons bicker, giraffe drink, and elephants splash on the banks of the great Zambezi River. Rose checked on us through out the entire trip to make sure everything ran smoothly. This is a vacation my family will remember forever, Pula! And with that in mind... we plan to do another Safari with Abambo as soon as we are able.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely fortunate to have my trip of a lifetime to Tanzania organised by Rose at Abambo. The trip was to celebrate a big birthday, and Rose pulled out all the stops to ensure that my husband and I had the best possible experience for the two weeks we were away. Right from the start, I felt that Rose was interested in our every personal wish and whim and she put together the most wonderful itinerary which would allow us a variety of experiences in different landscapes staying in some wonderful places. Rose took note of our rather fussy / limited food requirements and made sure that these were all sent on in advance to the lodges. She thought and planned ahead to such an extent that nothing was left to chance and I was able to completely relax - something that doesn't normally happen, as I tend to organise all our travel myself. Every transfer was smooth, we were met by charming and courteous people and really taken care of. I can't thank Rose enough for making this all happen. I absolutely loved our trip and can't wait to go back to Africa. When I do, I will turn straight to Rose. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Our honeymoon was seamlessly organised by Abambo with some great suggestions so that we were able to fully relax and focus on the important things such as what cocktail we should have for breakfast. I would happily put my trust in Rosanne again.

Fantastic experience: Never imaged I would say this but I can't wait to go back to Africa after my 2-week trip. I went on this 2-week safari trip with a group of 11 people ranging from age 70 to age 5 ( 8 adults and 3 kiddos from the US and from the UK) not knowing what to expect since I am the type of traveler who always arranges my own itinerary and travel alone. Yet Rose hit it out of the ballpark! Everyone in our group was all so pleased with all the activities arranged, i.e. game drives, horse riding, quad-biking, stargazing... with excellent services from lodges and great amenities. it's been a trip of the lifetime and we can't wait to go back to Africa to explore more with Rose. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Fantastic experience: Abambo organised my amazing 2 week family safari this August and i was blown away!! The trip was perfect; it was clearly planned to escalate and we ended at Leobo Private Reserve which i can only describe as the place i imagine a James Bond villain would live: crazily luxurious, from its sculptures to its chopper and its rooftop hot tub. Thank you Abambo!! We will be back.

Fantastic experience: We had a few days to spare after a business trip to Nairobi and Rose arranged us the most amazing trip to the Masai Mara. She give us the most wonderful personal service and made sure the trip was incredibly memorable and definitely a lifetime experience. I would highly recommend Abambo to anyone wanting to experience a truly special safari.

They have access to the very finest corners of the continent, so that you'll go places other people haven't. You'll do things other people don't get to do. And so you'll have memories other people don't. Rose and her team are legends. I won't look any further for my next trip to Africa.
