Negative experience: I feel compelled to share a terrifying experience I had on 17th July involving a coach operated by Highcliffe Coach Holidays, at Winchester Services . The driver of the coach drove in a manner that was not only reckless but potentially fatal. I genuinely feared for my life. This was not a minor lapse in judgment — it was sustained, dangerous behavior that showed a complete disregard for safety and basic traffic laws. I have since reported this incident to the company, and I sincerely hope this driver is investigated and held accountable before someone is seriously hurt or killed. I urge Highcliffe Coach Holidays to review their safety protocols and ensure that only qualified, responsible drivers are behind the wheel.

The Breakfast and Evening ️ Meal. Was Extremely Good . Finally, I would go again. With Highcliffe Coach Holidays!!.

Fantastic experience: Worth it

Positive experience: We have just returned from our first holiday with Highcliffe Coaches. It was a five day trip to County Durham, Barnard Castle and Beamish. The hotel was very good. It was set in a few acres of grounds, so there were places to sit or wander outside which was lovely as we had very good weather. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner was rather early (6.30pm), we had to order each evening what we wanted for the next evening and the service was a little rushed; but the food at both dinner and breakfast was very good and overall the hotel was very good value. The coach was good quality with plenty of legroom. We felt safe with the driver. However, we did find that the journey could have been a lot more pleasant if we had had regular breaks and communication on roughly when they would be. For example on the return journey we drove for 3 and 1/4 hours before a comfort stop. Then a 3/4 hour break followed by a very short 1 1/2 hours drive before another 3/4 hour break. Why were the comfort stops so close together on such a long journey? 3 lots of half hour breaks would have been so much more pleasant or even 2 breaks at better intervals. Our hotel was situated just over a half hour’s drive from both Beamish and Durham. On the first day we were taken to Beamish and arrived at 10.30. I thought we would be there all day but it was only a half day tour. We had to be back at the coach at 2.30 and we were back at the hotel just after 3. This was so disappointing! There is so much to see at Beamish and it was a real rush to get round in the time available. We arrived back at the hotel soon after 3. The hotel was in the middle of nowhere with no entertainment so I really don’t understand what the rush was to get us back. Durham was slightly better , leaving the city at 3pm but still arriving back at the hotel at 3.30pm. We had an excellent local guide in Durham and for the Barnard Castle day (this was a full day trip arriving back at 4.45pm! Perfect!) who was friendly, helpful and knew the area really well.

Fantastic experience: The 17 days Benidorm holiday was enjoyable with plenty of time to explore other areas. Graham has an effervescent personality which makes the three days on the coach there and back humorous. Jerry put in a rock solid performance as the main contact. The hotel on the border of old town has decent facilities and is good value for money. Also, Austria for 8 days although a far shorter holiday has some of the most beautiful scenery in Europe. Going down the Silvretta Pass on an excursion was mesmerising. The grandiose mountains are inspirational. In summary, the Highcliffe boys are great fun and highly professional.

Fantastic experience: Many thanks for a really enjoyable holiday. Brian, our driver, arrived in good time to collect us and was very helpful and efficient throughout the holiday. The comfort and lunch stops were just right and the trips were well planned and interesting. The Headland Hotel seemed to be freshly decorated and looked great and the restaurant and bar area were very inviting. Staff were very efficient and helpful and the food was excellent. The only thing that let it down slightly was our room which overlooked the yard and we had early morning noise (on one morning) from work that was going on. The windows didn't fit properly and were draughty and the radiator didn't work although the latter was sorted within an hour of reporting it. However this didn't detract from our enjoyment of the holiday. I have to add that the entertainment was excellent and well thought out and an optional theatre trip for the Wednesday night when there was no entertainment. The hotel has beautiful views and a lovely walk down to the nearby Meadfoot Beach and is a 15 min walk into Torquay harbour (slightly longer coming back up the hill)! All in all a good holiday and we would definitely recommend the hotel and will probably use Highcliffe Coaches again in the future.

Fantastic experience: Been on a couple of trips. The drivers are hugely experienced (Joe, Brian, Martin - I’m talking about you ), the itineraries are well thought out and calmly achieved. The hotels are as described and the destinations are excellent. And it’s great value for money. Just working out which one is next

Fantastic experience: Went on day trip to Hever Castle April 19th, Great day out, very good driver ( sorry forgot his name) he had to navigate various road works which was challenging for him, he was very professional and kept us updated We were picked up at the time stipulated. Looking forward to our next trip with highcluffe coaches.

Negative experience: Was the driver of one of your coaches in a rush last night 730pm ish driving through Bournemouth because the speed limits are 30mph and most people use indicators it was some of the most appaling driving I've seen in a long time especially as they have the company's name all over the coach maybe they forgot that when they where cutting people up and speeding without any thought for anyone else ? and the roundabout on Wellington Road is to go round not over all other big vehicles manage it and the only reason they slowed down was because they got stuck behind a learner driver bv19 is part of the registration I do have it all

Negative experience: First day trip so can only base my review on this … A very long journey mainly due to a London half marathon and road closures etc. Lack of info and updates by the second driver. The company should not have even considered operating a trip to London on this day so not impressed!

Your coach was immaculate and so comfortable, the journey was most enjoyable, the hotel was very good indeed with lovely food and plenty of choice. The driver was so kind and made us laugh and served us sweets when getting back on coach. Everything was so well organised from Taxi picking us up, the coach arriving , journey to Cornwall and of course the hotel was very well organised. Lovely stay and beautifully views.
