Fantastic experience: I was very apprehensive about going on the coach holiday on my own but I shouldn't have worried as it was brilliant from being picked up at the door the driver Andrew was great and the hotel in Sidmouth was excellent the trips were well organized so I would definitely recommend GLine holidays
Negative experience: Amazing that their drivers can't comprehend the seemingly simple instruction not to start their engines until instructed by ferry staff. Maybe the drivers are foreign or they speak a different language in Lytham St. Annes. Or it's something in the water up there.
Fantastic experience: Our first trip today with G Line . 5 stars from Richard picking us up to Paul taking us on our trip up to the lake district . What a fantastic day . Both guys are a credit to your company

Negative experience: Really disappointed with this company, we booked a coach to Cartmel races and received confirmation of our seats, sometime later received a telephone call cancelling our booking as second coach cancelled due to low numbers, we had bought our tickets for the races so lost £57.00 not happy.
We are of course very sorry for any inconvenience caused; however our terms and conditions do state that the operation of any excursion is subject to sufficient numbers. We would therefore always recommend clients book early, and especially so for events as popular as Cartmel races over what was, a Bank Holiday weekend.
As we had filled our first coach to capacity for this event by June and due to the number of subsequent calls to enquire about availability following this, we added a second coach.
You booked 2 seats on this vehicle via our on-line booking system on 29th July, less than month in advance of the event and it was abundently clear at this time that there was a limited number of passengers on-board.
I would ask that you appreciate we cannot operate a coach to Cartmel with only ten persons booked and therefore, as the number of passengers travelling had not increased sufficiently by 07th August, we immediately advised all passengers that we were unable to operate the second vehicle. This allowed 25 days to make alternative arrangments, of which there are many.
Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Fantastic experience: My friend and I went to Cartmel Races on Bank Holiday Monday 26 August with G-line and I just wanted to say it was a lovely day out, our driver was first class; he was an excellent driver and we felt very safe, he was extremely pleasant, funny and conscientious.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I went went on the Lakes day excursion, choice of time in Ambleside, Bowness or Kendal. I opted for Bowness. Our driver was Ben. He was very pleasant, polite and helpful. Kept us informed, was punctual, smartly dressed and, obviously, an excellent driver. So, thank you Ben and G Line for a great day out.
Fantastic experience: Went on a day trip today may 30th to grange Ambleside and Bowness .. had a lovely day with plenty of time at each place .. we had a new driver Matt who has only been with g line for a month .. he was supported by Steve .. who by the way is such a lovely driver so nice and polite and helpful .. been on a Couple of trips with Steve and he is an asset to your company .. a true professional!! Matt did the driving and on some very testing narrow roads .. which he handled no problem .. he is an exceptional driver and a really nice friendly guy .. he too will be an asset to the company .. just felt I had to give him and Steve a glowing report .. another lovely day out .. thanks g line

Fantastic experience: We have just returned from a 5 day break to Stourport Manor. The hotel was lovely and the meals were really nice. We had many excursions with our coach driver, Andrew who was very friendly, helpful and his knowledge of the surrounding areawas second to none. Thanks Andrew for making our break a great one.
Positive experience: Brilliant transport and lovely Queens Hotel. Only complain is the riged itinerary for time of year e. g. Four hours free in 70miles per hour winds in Portmeirion with crowded cafes and shops.

Positive experience: Met some nice people from St Anne's, when I was at Drymen, who used this company and were full of praise for them. I checked out their website but unfortunately they don't do tours from up here in the North of Scotland. They only do tours To here

Negative experience: I am a widow,I have mobility issues,I use a scooter. Now I phoned Gline and asked do they take fold up scooters. Yes oh great I thought I need to get out about. I wanted to book 2 day trips. Than they carried on to say so long as you have someone to pick it up and put it on the coach. I told her I am in my own. She said you need someone to put it on the coach. We have to protect our drivers health and safety. I said that means I can't go. She said well yes,you could try to other coach companies. Gline you should be ashamed of yourself. Than to add insult to me she said there are 3 steps.. to climb to get on to the coach. .I have just had a call from the Manager,who tried to explain the health and safety issues,and customer policy. I disagreed with a lot of things, The Manger in the end after I phoned back did not like what I said and does not like my attitude and would not like me as a customer. Why becausehe did not like what I said. wow.!!!
As is the case with any business, G-Line Holidays Ltd are bound by law to consider the Health and Safety of our clientele, and our staff. Indeed, as a Family Run business, servicing Blackpool and the Fylde for over for over 55 years, the safety, comfort and enjoyment of our passengers and staff is of paramount importance morally.
This individual called yesterday to enquire about the possibility of booking an excursion, and when doing so, mentioned restricted mobility, the requirement of a mobility scooter and the fact they were travelling alone.
As can be ratified by so many of our customers, this is quite common, and therefore, following company procedure and guidelines, the member of staff handling the call went on to request some further information regarding the scooter, such is its dimensions and indeed, it’s weight.
As Health and Safety guidelines limit the weight any business can reasonably expect their staff to lift, it was explained that it is the responsibility of any potential customer travelling with a scooter to;
A – Ensure the scooter meets the size specifications, or that it can be dismantled (due to space restrictions).
B - Ensure that the scooter in whole, or with its parts, meet the weight restriction, if indeed our staff are expected to lift it.
This request caused much anger and frustration to the potential customer who went on to use terminology such as “ridiculous” and “an utter joke”… it was suggested by this person that a driver who can’t lift 32kg shouldn’t be driving on a motorway due to fear.
Once more, an attempt was made to explain that if a driver were to lift something too heavy, and potentially cause damage restricting their physical mobility, then they would be unable to drive the vehicle, and subsequently, everyone on-board would be left stranded and disappointed. Again, this explanation was apparently “ridiculous”…
As this person had also mentioned mobility issues, the member of staff handling the call also advised that all customers travelling with our company are expected to navigate the 4 / 5 steps when boarding the coach unaided. This is of course in consideration of the passengers health and safety, as in the event of an emergency, they must be able to evacuate the vehicle. Once more, our Health and Safety policies were described as "an utter joke”.
What really is THE most disappointing aspect of this unfortunate interaction, is the fact this individual chose to leave this negative review AFTER repeatedly calling our office, all afternoon, to verbally abuse the member of staff who was in fact, only doing her job. The Pièce de Resistance of this, was when this charming individual suggested hope that our team member would one day be afflicted with a disability, rendering her immobile.
As there isn’t a platform for a business to leave a review for a potential customer, I hope the above offers some clarity into this unfair, and vindictive review... left by the rudest person we have encountered in some time.

Fantastic experience: I've been travelling with G-Line for a good few years now, both on holidays and lots of day trips, and always enjoyed the experience! They offer a very wide choice of tours and some wonderful destinations. I've always found the staff who handled my bookings helpful and friendly. Have recently returned from a 7 day holiday in Cornwall. Lovely hotel and delicious meals. The coach was comfortable, clean and Covid safe. Our driver Gary was friendly, looked after us all very well and drove safely along those narrow country lanes. Three interesting included excursions to beautiful places along the Cornish coast and there were a couple of extra trips thrown in. I really appreciate the door to door service too. I've enjoyed exploring Britain with G-Line and will keep coming back for more!

Fantastic experience: Just come back from Cornwall, stayed at the Rosemundy hotel. I had a lovely time, great hotel, comfortable room, lovely food, and very helpful staff, and enjoyed the entertainment. Dominic our driver, was very helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area. Would go back to this hotel again, and I always recommend G line, as I have travelled with them for many years.

Fantastic experience: I have known G Line coaches for near on 40 years when a dear friend of mine Collin who use to drive for them back when they had the Garage in Saint Patrick's Road south..I would recommend then to any one wishing to book and go with them I can honestly say you will be very well looked after with excellent coaches and drivers .They have gone from strength to strength I remember the old Bedford Viscount what a beautiful coach as they are now very well maintained and a credit to the family keep up the good work best wishes for 2019

Fantastic experience: Good organisation, mostly oldies (70+) but a really good day out. Visited Warrington IKEA and would love to go again, even if it was just to window shop.
Positive experience: We went to Wrexham today.We had a lovely day,as the weather was great.But Sorry to say,that many on our coach wondered were the market was,as in your brochure you gave it a glowing reference.You stated that there was over a hundred stalls,with everything from sausages,furniture,clothes,electronics and toys.WRONG.There was about 12 stalls.6of them were plants,one stall with ladies clothes,a veg stall,plus cake stall.Hopefully your amend your brochure,so other people will not be disappointed.
Unfortunately it appears you have visited the wrong market in Wrexham. The General indoor Market, which has entrances off Henblas Street, Henblas Square and Chester Street offers over 100 stalls.

Fantastic experience: Hi. We went on the Birmingham Tattoo weekend. Which was very good. We use only G-LINE Tours. The best thing is the door to door service.
Fantastic experience: We have just had a brilliant trip to South Wales. We spent five nights in the Cliffe Norton Hotel in Tenby. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The hospitality shown to us was first class. The food was outstanding, meeting our every need: vegetarian options were excellent. The service in the hotel was outstanding. We can thoroughly recommend the hotel. Our tour was excellent: stress free and enjoyable. We had excellent tours in the area. We felt at ease and enjoyed being part of a group of 40 participants. Our driver, Neil, was careful and considerate. He perhaps could have spent more time with us in the hotel. It is great to have a door-to-door service.
