Fantastic experience: We have booked most of our holidays at TUI in Livingston and we have always had a great experience! All staff are lovely and they are always very happy to help. We booked a holiday today with Liz and she couldn’t have been any more helpful and lovely to speak to. Would highly recommend :)

Negative experience: Exchange rate very, very low. No receipts either.. Plenty better out there.. would be as well taking the 'deal' at the airport. Poor stuff from a supposed big player in the travel game. Going away at short notice for this getaway, but I have a holiday booked in 6 weeks so will be better organised and use another....

Leeann searched many places for us and found an amazing place for us explaining what was there and close to where we were staying. She also showed us an amazing day trip which we booked. Fantastic experience: 1 star for the website experience, 5 stars for Natalie! What should have been a quick and easy online process to book a package holiday with TUI turned into an incredibly frustrating ordeal. The website crashed during payment, took my money, but failed to confirm the booking. This led to over an hour on the website’s live chat, which was not only unhelpful but also completely failed to resolve the issue. To make matters even worse, I was also unable to redeem a voucher online—a basic function you'd expect to work. At that point, I was ready to give up and look for a different travel agency. Thankfully, I decided to call the helpline and was put through to the Livingston branch in Scotland, where I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Natalie. From that moment, everything changed. As someone who has worked in customer service, I know how valuable it is when a representative listens, takes ownership, reassures you, and represents their company with professionalism. Natalie did all of this and more. She immediately understood how upset and frustrated I was, and she handled the situation with empathy, efficiency, and a genuinely kind attitude. She kept her promises, resolved the issues completely, and restored my faith in TUI’s customer service. In the future, I’ll skip the website and go directly to Natalie. She’s a credit to TUI and the reason I’m still a customer. P.S. Give this woman some time off – she’s earned it!

Fantastic experience: Went into the Livingston TUI store after visiting other travel companies. Ended up booking through them for our trip to Orlando. I did have other choices but the ladies were helpful and knowledgeable above and beyond belief. Liz looked at every workable solution to keep the price of the holiday as low as possible and listened to exactly all our requirements. If I'm honest all the girls rallied to help with advice,information etc. What a great team of professional agents,a real credit to TUI...

Fantastic experience: I was in the TUI Livingston store today and had a few questions to ask in regards to my holiday. From the moment I walked in to the store it felt all the girls , Michaela , Leanne and liz , lynne were all totally buzzing. All questions answered and a credit they girls working for TUI.

Fantastic experience: Excellent from start to finish- spoke with the staff and the manager in the store all great customer service, we were really looking forward to the holiday and boy were we happy currently sitting in resort on one of the best holidays we have been on. The TUI staff in resort have been great and the hotel staff are second to none would recommend TUI. I would also commend the knowledge of the resorts from the TUI staff in Livingston.

Fantastic experience: Natalie in this store listened to our holiday requirements and researched the best deal for us. She was friendly, polite and patient with us while we deliberated the options. It is a number of years since I booked a trip in a branch but would definitely do it again as we got some extras we wouldn't have had we booked directly online. We are looking forward to Corfu ( and Albania) later this summer.

Fantastic experience: after going in last week and the staff member being pretty much not interested and having lack of customer service skills I was reluctant to go bk. but decided not to let one person put me of. So I called up to get the store to match the price I saw online. I wasn't to happy I had to go in but it wasn't the lassies fault it couldn't all be done over phone and her service had been good on the phone. Her name was miceala. I went in to store and Liz took over. She was really nice, helpful and friendly, the woman behind her I can't remember her name ( short brown hair ) was friendly to. Such a difference from last weeks experience. I'd definitely book again with either of these 3 woman

Fantastic experience: We went to have a look at honeymoons as both didn’t know where to choose . Grace gave us some options to look at and both decided a cruise was best. Grace was very professional , friendly and very easy to talk to. Nothing was too much for them to do and we felt very welcome. They gave us lots of ideas and good pointers to help us out for when we go on our cruise in 2025. I also put the wrong email address in and they managed to sort that out right away for me. Negative experience: Booked our Caribbean cruise with tui 5 weeks ago, £600 deposit was asked for(why £600). Went into the shop and asked if there was anything that can be done to match the new price and extras that is on line through IGLU CRUISES. Have been told there is nothing they can do. I find this crazy that they can't do anything match the price and offer the updated cabin, was advised if I cancel would loose my depost. My family have booked close to £14.000 to go on this cruise. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. I am not one for leaving negative reviews but this is not how to treat customers. Will be the last time I ever book through tui for any holiday.

Fantastic experience: Lynne is so nice and welcoming, and she was also incredibly helpful! We were undecided about our honeymoon destination and she patiently took us through a lot of options. Lynne then suggested an option that was perfect for us, and we just followed her suggestion. She also made the process for booking very smooth, being very available and accommodating despite our busy working hours.

Fantastic experience: I have just returned from a fabulous TUI river cruise on the Moselle in Germany. Everything was fantastic, from the ease of booking in the Livington store guided by one of the staff, Sharon, to the amazing food and entertainment on board the TUI Isla. I am already browsing the brochures for another cruise and will once again rely on the guidance of Sharon to assist me.

Fantastic experience: We visited the Livingston store yest and booked a hol , we cannot compliment enough the service we received from Natalie. She was so friendly and welcoming, nothing was a problem, answered all our questions and supplied lots of information to help us with our choice. Took care of everything including insurance, parking, airport assistance and money card. We will definitely return and recommend the store

Negative experience: Went in yesterday with my partner, we were both exchanging £750 each in to euros, we received €820 each. Thought the rate seemed quite poor so checked the Tui website when we got home and we should have got €862 each! No receipt giving to either of us as well! Called to speak to a manager and was told the shop has overheads and we would have got that rate if we had said at the time but because we never we got bumped out of €84!! Avoid!!

Negative experience: Came to your shop in Livingston on 5th Jan to enquire about a two week holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia. Spoke to one of your advisors ( won’t mention her publicly) who took some information and said she’d back in touch in a few days to a week or so. Still waiting!!!

Fantastic experience: Visited this shop last week to book a holiday to Mexcio for my wives 50th birthday. Great service from a young lady Suzanne (might have been Susan, sorry!) She gave us advice on the perfect hotel as my wife has some underlying health issues. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, she was also very patient with my wife who can be quite demanding, lol. She even put a note on our booking to say if was for a special occasion. Will return

Negative experience: Regarding the livingston branch: Booked a cruise as mum not so mobile. Told sale staff at time we were not covid vaccinated, but Michelle repeatedly reassured us she heard the need to be vaccinated was being dropped end of September in line with other holidays. Sales agent did say 'once', that if we couldn't go on the cruise, we could change to a land based holidays for £50 each. My partner said again he did not want a land based holiday and why. Agent again added reassurance that they were dropping vaccine requirement. After over a dozen assurances that the covid vaccine requirement was getting dropped,we booked. Tui web site also said that if we couldn't go due to not being vaccinated, we could change or cancel for free. Went in to pay remaining balance early november, but asked for clarity on vaccine requirement. Told we couldn't go on the cruise as vaccines were still required. New sales agent exclaimed it would be at least a year before need for vaccine dropped. Original sales agent brought over & back tracked on her assurances, claiming she meant pre boarding testing was getting dropped. Why on earth would we have booked if we knew that was the situation? As we agreed to book the holiday, knowing at the time of booking vaccines were still required, we are getting no holiday & £500 deposit taken, no refund offered!.. Phoned the Tui helpline, person we spoke to agreed it sounded odd. Notes on tui booking confirmed we told Michelle we were not vaccinated, but she happily took our money anyway! Livingston Tui store manager said it was simply our decision to book knowing vaccines were required at time of booking, so no refund is due. I thought desperate dodgey sales tactics were done away with! I'm taking this to the ABTA & everywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff, especially the manager, Claire Thomson…she has worked her magic on many of my holidays (both big and small) nothing is too much trouble. They cover every single aspect of your holidays from start to finish - I feel in very safe hands when booking with TUI Livingston.

I would highly recommend, we are not comfortable booking online and much prefer the face to face service.

Negative experience: Not very happy with the of refusing to accept legal currency, paper notes still legal till the end of the month, think there are alternative motives at play to make balance payments, not be using them again........
