Having enjoyed numerous cruises organised by Connoisseur over the past 15 years, the level of service has constantly been first class. This being enhanced, when cruising with Fred Olsen from Rosyth, with complementary taxis transfer and the provision of a very helpful Connoisseur representative on the cruise itself. Connoisseur have become our natural "go to" when planning holidays.

Fantastic experience: I have used Connoisseur Travel for over 10 years and as a basic IT user I have relied on them to sort out all the "Digital stuff", which they have done in an efficient and timely manner and sent me paper copies through the post. Their knowledge ,whether it be ocean or river cruising, lakes & mountains or fly drive is impressive and they have gleaned extra added value on many occasions. Fantastic experience: We have just returned from back to back cruises from Rosyth to the Baltic and Iceland. Connoisseur made sure everything went smoothly, especially the taxi transfer from home and return. We have enjoyed this service for many years and this service makes sure that all the hassle of getting to the port is removed. Liaison between Connoisseur and Fred Olsen is perfect.

Fantastic experience: We have been using Connoisseur Travel to book our cruises and long weekend trips since 2016, and have nothing but praise for Diane and her team. Fantastic experience: We booked a Baltic Cruise through Connoisseur Travel this summer and took advantage of their door-to-door travel offer, paying the difference as we live more than 30 miles from Rosyth. On our return we were waiting a long time on the jetty for our taxi to appear. Anxiously we approached the Connoisseur Rep who was dealing with a coach party. He was unable to get any information over the phone, but assured us that if our transport did not arrive, he would drive us home the 60 miles to Kirriemuir in his own car! The cruise was absolutely marvellous. That assurance was the icing on the cake. Bravo Connoisseur Travel.

Fantastic experience: Connoisseur has always been our "go to" company and while it has expanded, it still gives us the personal care and attention associated with a family run travel agency. We rely on Connoisseur to take the stress out of booking and they certainly deliver. How many companies would offer to take over the setting up of our on-line boarding passes when I got into trouble? Ellis at Connoisseur did....now that's what I call service above and beyond! Acting as they do on our behalf in dealing with travel companies, they are excellent in keeping us informed, sorting out issues and giving us the reassurance that all will be well. I am sure that their "presence" influenced us in receiving speedy compensation for flight delays this summer. We cannot contemplate a travel holiday without the backing of Connoisseur.

Fantastic experience: Have used Connoisseur a few times now, Recently returned from a Fred Olsen cruise from Rosyth. Connoisseur arranged for us to be picked up from Edinburgh Bus station and taken to Rosyth. On return journey we were picked up by taxi at Rosyth and taken back to the bus station in Edinburgh. Everything went very smoothly. Have now booked another cruise for next year travelling with Ambassador Cruise Line. Booked this one again through Magalie at Connoisseur. Magalie is very helpful and attentive to our needs so I would always ask for her when I phone but on saying that all the other staff I have spoken to have been equally helpful and friendly. I will always use Connoisseur now when booking cruises and would recommend them to my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: I have recently booked a Fred Olsen cruise with Connoisseur and was impressed with how helpful everyone was. Diane and Magalie in particular gave advice and answered my queries, I have no hesitation in recommending them to friends . Good friendly service never goes out of fashion!

Fantastic experience: Connoisseur's help and advice was excellent, especially travelling to the USA via Dublin - Border control checks took 10 minutes as opposed to three hours last time we travelled via New York Only problem we encountered was with the Aer Lingus check in system which was clunky and inefficient, didn't work on our outward journey until we were in the queue at Edinburgh airport, and wouldn't download to a phone on the return journey and required to be printed

Fantastic experience: Have used them a number of times for booking cruises particularly with Fred Olsen. They usually offer transfers to Rosyth either free or at low cost. Would recommend giving them a go.

Fantastic experience: My main contact is Diane and she is superb! When Diane is unavailable I find that the other members of staff are equally good, attentive and caring. I put this down to Connoisseur being a small independent organisation - thereby providing the personal touch. I've been using Connoisseur for in excess of 20 years and have never had any problems. I'd certainly recommend this company for all and any of your travel needs - be they cruises, pacakages or even flight only.

Been dealing with Connoisseur every year since 2011 and its been a pleasure - like dealing with old friends - and believe they have always got the best deal for us.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful, knowledgeable team and personal service. Staff go out of their way to find the best holiday for you. If you book a cruise departing from Rosyth, Connoisseur will collect you from a home up to 30 miles from Rosyth (or from Waverley Station, Edinburgh) and take you straight to the port. This makes for such a relaxing start to the holiday! I always recommend Connoisseur to anyone cruising from Rosyth so they can experience this excellent service.

Fantastic experience: Connoisseur Travel's staff did a wonderful job placing me and two friends from Edinburgh on an outstanding Rhone River cruise with Riviera Cruise lines this July. They handled all the details in a very professional manner, were prompt in responding to requests for information, and treated us as valued customers. Fantastic experience: Have always had a great service with Connoisseur Travel and they did a great job of getting us a lovely 2-for-1 cruise over the summer. This time we unfortunately had to cancel the cruise due having to go into hospital unexpectedly and claim off our insurance. The lady from Connoisseur could not have been more helpful, ensuring that money for the extras (dining and trips) was reimbursed and sending me the necessary documentation for our insurance claim. She sounded just as disappointed as we were not to be going! We'll be back!

Fantastic experience: We have booked 3 cruises with Connoisseur travel and their booking service is very efficient and the staff helpful.The first was a Gardener's World cruise from Tilbury which was very good and the 3rd is another Gardener's World cruise from Southampton in October this year. The 2nd one was a cruise through the Caledonian canal in October 2022 onboard The Lord of the Glens which was an expensive disaster through no fault of Connoisseur. It was aborted at Corpach and never sailed through the canal.
