Negative experience: Horrific experience. Avoid at all costs. Your flight will be cancelled and you will not be informed. You end up doing at least half the work. Reluctant to give one star.
Negative experience: Yes, absolutely awful travel agent. Had no choice but to use them for a project I was working on - dire communication, they mucked up travel for a number of people, they were terribly disorganised, numerous incorrect bookings, one could go on.... needless to say they were not used again. A diversity of failings.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking service. Please avoid at all cost. I’m a frequent flyer and was unfortunate enough to have had to use them for corporate travel this past month - disaster ensues. Every travel request takes days / weeks and countless back and forth to finalise. Every other travel booking has a mistake. I have received bookings from other travellers that are outside of my company alongside their personal details more than once. I am now stranded abroad unable to check in to a hotel due to a mistake form Diversity, who was completely unreachable via their “emergency 24/7 lines”, even with the hotel’s help. We called them over 20 times with multiple emails, there was 0 response for hours. Completely unacceptable behaviour.
Positive experience: I have had issues using Diversity Travel in the past (which makes it hard to give it 5 stars), but my recent experience was very positive. Ammar was very helpful and responsive.
Fantastic experience: Ammar Baig has been extremely helpful and efficient in organising a conference trip to Cyprus. It wouldn't have been possible without him!
Negative experience: Never in my life I have experienced such a mess with booking tickets. Wrong names, double booked tickets, not flexible tickets as we asked but still they charged us as flexible, communication with them impossible (the responsible person was always in a meeting). Even the airline desk employee was surprised by the amount of mistakes that this agency made in our group tickets.
Negative experience: The worst travel agent I have ever encountered - 100% please do not use this company. Every single booking I have made with them ends up taking me at least an hour speaking with them to correct the errors they have made or some other sort of problem. And they charge a big markup on tickets/hotels compared to airline or hotel websites, so any booking with them is literally paying money to waste time. (I have to use them for work, I would never use them if I didn't have to.)

Negative experience: Was thinking about utilizing them for my organizations travel but looking on their website diversity travel isn't do diverse. No real contact with them other than potential engagement.
Fantastic experience: Diversity Travel, through one of their officers, Ms. Antonia Smith, provided exceptional assistance in booking my flight. Ms. Antonia consistently responded promptly and kindly to all my questions concerning my flight back home.
Negative experience: I'm a super experienced traveller. This time a was forced to use a travel agency and it was a complete disaster. Zero flexibility, unprofessional (they even not able to undestand basic spelling), pay more to get less. Help yourself NEVER use Diversity Travel!

Negative experience: Worst travel agency I’ve ever experienced. My organization has a contract with them so I don’t have a choice but to book flights through them. They don’t offer the most efficient routes. More often than not, I had always done the work for them in finding better options and routes. Flights are always more expensive than they should be. And they respond late. There was one time it took 12 days and a follow-up email before I got a response on a pending flight booking request. I asked for an explanation, but never got any. And for this last flight from Monrovia to Bordeaux I was supposed to take on April 6, 2024, I was escorted out of the airport as I found out they cancelled my return flight. I can forgive little mistakes, but it was traumatizing to be left on your own devices in an unfamiliar territory. I’m still stuck here in Liberia as of writing this review and I haven’t even received any apologies for this terrible mistake made by one of their agents! Unacceptable. The incompetence demonstrated here is next level. Worst travel experience in my more than 10years of flying for work! I would never recommend dealing with this agency. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST!

Positive experience: It's a shame there's no option to score different aspects of DT individually because those experiences are completely different. - Diversity Travel's booking page and user experience is absolutely horrible. The website is extremely slow (and it's not the fault of my internet), the flights are overpriced, there's no flexibility, and often there's no option to choose your own luggage or seat. - score: 1. - DT's customer service: score 5. I was recently assisted by Hashim and he was brilliant. If it wasn't for his excellent customer service, quick responses, and pro-activeness, the average score would've been much lower than a 3. Danny exhumed prompt responses and communication associated with travel requests. He also carried a patient, friendly and, most importantly, 'customer-itinerary-sensitive approach' to bookings. Service can be further enhanced by assisting customers to ensure the need for transit visas. I will recommend them to anyone :)

Positive experience: The Oak team work very hard to make sure the travel requests they receive are processed quickly. Having said that, travel bookings are very complex and competancy in the travel agent role only come with time. Diversity have hired a lot of new staff recently and some of them don't always pick up on the right details. e.g. departure dates for flights or check in date for hotel. The same can be said when sending multiple emails to them about the same flight/hotel request. they can sometimes miss an email. I would highly suggest that you call them if you have an urgent travel request and need it booking asap. The super stars on the oak team are: Ben Lyons, Carol-Anne, Ammar, Jennifer. They are all amazing. Rob the operations manager is also great!

Positive experience: We have been working with Diversity Travel since March this year. From the outset we were allocated Mirjam as our account manager and what a stroke of luck that was! Mirjam is a hard-working and dedicated account manager who always goes the extra mile. I asked her to help me with a request recently which I thought would be impossible but she was able to resolve the matter for me and I was amazed and extremely grateful. Negative experience: Terrible service - slow, inefficient and useless. Not sure why University of Edinburgh uses this company.
Negative experience: Slow responsiveness, incompetent travel agents. I have spoken to different agents who have given completely contradictory information while looking at the same information. I have made urgent travel requests to their agents that are simply ignored for days.
Negative experience: This is by far the worst travel agency you will see in your life. Unfortunately I have to book through them with my employer, so they come back with crazy flight and hotel prices at least triple what I see on Skyscanner.
Negative experience: It's like someone set out to design a Stalinist era travel company, who has thought of every cost and inefficiency you can build into a system. While an amusing premise for a TV sitcom, a nightmare in real life. For example: I found a flight online £200 cheaper than their quote. I emailed them and asked them to book me this flight, and they told me "sorry we can't book it if it isn't on our system". So we just lose £200 because they can't operate skyscanner. Second Example: Their 'relaunched online tools' have the WORST date of birth mechanic i've seen. To enter your DoB (which you are required to do) you must click back through every. single. month. from today until you were born. That's over 500 clicks for me. You have managed to make a mess of something with has literally been working online for at least 40 years. I think you have your Pilot Episode for "Diversity Travel: Best Soviet Travel" right here. Utterly appalling company. Horrible website that doesn't work and is counterintuitive.
Sorry to read this - obviously this is not our aim. We're about to relaunch all of our online tools, which should hopefully mean a better, more user-friendly experience the next time you book with us. We have access to lots of different sources to get the best fares but Skyscanner, as an aggregator, isn't always the most reliable and the fares they display could be up-to 24 hours old and no longer available. Negative experience: Unfortunately very inconsistent service, slow response times even during emergencies and urgent requests, and no capacity to give timescales. For some reasons they outsource bookings to third party agencies, as an agency themselves which is weird, and then when things go wrong they blame the agencies they make bookings through - which again really baffles me! Overall highly disappointed with the services provided and unfortunately cannot recommend it.
Negative experience: An absolute shambles of a company. Two of the experiences I've faced in recent months from Diversity. This ignores the fact that to get through to them requires countless unanswered emails and calls every time. And they charge an extra £200 on top of the online quoted price for everything. 1. I booked a hotel through Diversity for a week long conference in Vienna. The card supplied by Diversity to the hotel bounced. So I had to pay ~£1000 on my personal card. Upon returning, Diversity tried to suggest it was my responsibility to claim the money back directly from the hotel instead of refunding my card directly. Took a lot of back and forth and several weeks for the money to come through. 2. Booked onto a flight to Seoul for some impending fieldwork. Diversity sent me a confirmation email and their in house generated "ticket" for a flight. Upon arriving at the check in desk and presenting my "ticket" I was told the airline had no record of my booking. A very stressful few phone calls to Diversity then ensued. I have requested a copy of the airline ticket from Diversity both over the phone and via email. They have failed to send this through. One can only assume it's because they never booked it in the first place. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. IF YOU WORK FOR PROCUREMENT IN A LARGE ORGANISATION. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM!

Negative experience: In my personal opinion one of the worst companies I have ever interacted with. Lots of issues with bookings, from their website randomly glitching out for me to them confirming bookings (on their website and via email) that upon arrival it turns out they never actually placed with the hotel. Their staff communicates in a way that I personally find to be less than professional and at times outright hostile. Personally, I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.
Negative experience: Shocking company! Upgraded online system actually worse than before, glitches, doesn't work. Email response times erratic if they get back at all. Had a hotel booking which wasn't placed, luckily hotel were incredibly helpful or me and my colleagues would have been stuck in the middle of a city at 11pm with no accommodation. emergency helpline took 5 days to fix the issue! Some of the staff are really nice but communication, systems etc are hopeless. Being forced to use them still despite all these issues and still almost impossible to book anything. Please, please fix your systems!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service offered by the business travel consultant. The complex booking I required was arranged in a very efficient and professional manner by Delfina. The diligent approach taken achieved a great flight deal and the courteous nature of the interactions was wonderful. It is this type of service that is sadly often missing in the travel industry today - not so at Diversity

Negative experience: Terrible service, never a response, takes about 50 emails to finalise a reservation over several weeks. Worse than the previous version, which was called Key travel.
Negative experience: Have to use this company because of university policies. Unfortunately the website is really slow, clunky and out of date - nowhere near as smooth as the mainstream operators.
Negative experience: What a terrible service. Try changing a flight with them - you will be on the phone in mystery waiting lines for HOURS. I can't see what value this "service" adds to any university and our travel needs. I could have dealt with any airline in the world myself three times over in the time it took to get help from Diversity. The many workers I spoke to confirm during the conversation that they are temp workers and largely inexperienced.

My university has recently changed its travel partner to DiversityTravel. now It takes days or weeks to get a response and get things done in the middle of the booking process. But, I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone.
Negative experience: The worst travel agent ever, a lot of travel booking delays and irresponsive. I had to deal with them 5 times and all of these times they caused me delays on my travel, plans even when they know that their delays cost me money. YOU should never deal with such a company.
Negative experience: My university requires us to use this agency to book travel as policy. However they are extremely expensive (for example their flights are 800 pounds more expensive than what I could book myself, for identical flights!) and they are slow. I have been emailing and calling for over a week, and provided all details needed for each booking (flights down to the flight numbers and phone numbers for the hotel and transfer service required) and they have yet to respond to me, nevermind book anything. I'm supposed to be traveling in a week, and it's a long weekend now so the next available working day they have to deal with my request will be four days prior to when I need to travel. Extremely expensive AND stressful on top of it all.
Negative experience: Regrettably, our university uses this travel agent but they take ages to respond to emails, by which time the availability of flights are limited and more expensive. Ringing them appears to be the only way to get a response but be prepared hang on for 30 mins or more as they are very busy. However, once the phone was answered, Alison (Manchester branch) was helpful, friendly and efficient.
Fantastic experience: Having read all the negative reviews I noticed that they are all referring to a time when travel was returning after lockdown. I have been using Diversity travel for 5 years and have always been very happy with the service they provide. The quotes are very competitive and they give me access to fares I could not obtain elsewhere. They respond quickly and the quotes provide sensible options across different price points. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and I find them a pleasure to deal with.

Negative experience: I am a scholar from a UK scholarship and I had booked a ticket that I had to change and Diversity sent me a quote which I accepted and payed immediately and three days later they made me pay 3 times the amount that they originally quoted because the airline changed the fare. As far as I am concerned, when you pay to an agency a fee, it should be guarenteed and not changed by the internal inefficiency of the agency. Why should I be paying for a mistake that I didn't make? I was really happy with their services at the begining but how they managed this situation gives me a lot to think and I am really disappointed and feel deceived. Just to state this in all the possible spaces I can.
Negative experience: Probably the worst ever travel booking company ever? Bought about £500 worth of travel tickets for various projects but manager didn't know if we were being sent a collection reference number or if the tickets were being mailed to our institution. ... Turns out they were being mailed, without being tracked, and tickets got lost. Finally, on the back of this, a friend did a price comparison with other travel agency and turns out diversity prices are more often than not more expensive than anyone else. Not to mention a £6.50 fee for every single booking.
