Fantastic experience: AMAZING! The guys in Kuoni were outstanding, complete customer service and knowledge but also fun and happy. Even though we entered and warned them we were difficult customers it seems they have found us the perfect holiday - we will see. Nether the less we were treated as humans and all our needs were taken into account. (Thanks to Dev and Julie especially) Update! We have had the BEST holiday courtesy of Julie @ Kuoni, it was truly fabulous and my wife who is Coeliac was 100% catered for with fabulous food and made to feel so normal. ️✈️

Fantastic experience: Circumstance had us in Meadowhall around the time of us wanting to book a trip to Thailand, after a a while we come across Kuoni and decided to have a look. Was greeted by Nathaniel who has been top draw in helping us book our first ‘big’ holiday, listened to all requests and sent several quotes after. Really good experience and can’t recommend enough of your looking to book your next holiday, once again big shout out to Nathaniel.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a fabulous honeymoon in Italy booked through Kuoni. We originally weren't sure where we wanted to go but Zoe ran with the ideas we gave her and pulled together 4 fabulous itineraries (including one curveball option). We settled on a dual-centre trip to Milan followed by Lake Como with all transfers booked through Kuoni. The hotels we stayed in were great quality and our rep in Northern Italy was a great comfort to have if things were to go wrong. All-in-all really happy with the customer service received from Kuoni

Fantastic experience: Great service and communication from Zoe and her colleagues. After Covid prevented our trip to Mauritius in 2020 and then the rebooked trip in 2021 we are hopefully now going to get there in 2022. Throughout the whole experience Zoe was on the ball and quick to react to any requests we had. We used Kuoni to book our honeymoon in 2016 and the service then was noticeably better than other tour operators we have used. With our latest long haul trip the service has been just as good and as travelling during these uncertain times Zoe has given us the confidence that any issues will be resolved professionally and quickly. There is a premium to pay with Kuoni but we feel it’s well worth it. You get what you pay for !

She was very knowledgeable and had been to several of the places herself which helped. We ended up booking our dream honeymoon and we couldn’t recommend Kuoni enough.

Fantastic experience: We originally had a holiday to Sri Lanka/Maldives but we tried to hold off as long as possible but unfortunately it wasn’t possible. Jo worked her magic to make sure we had an alternative and that we left happy. We are now going to Mauritius and the service Jo provided was top class, she was always contactable and nothing was to much hassle. Negative experience: We had carvery and everything was like rubber or that dry from been stood nothing was edible, it was a one off to call and will be the last .. we opted for pigs in blankets as extras but for some reason there was a misunderstanding because we got large plates with a microwaved large Yorkshire pudding !!

Negative experience: AVOID Kuoni at all costs! Put a £500 deposit on a Maldives holiday for our honeymoon more than 12 MONTHS in advance of travel. Around 2-3 days after paying the deposit, we had chance to do some more research and discovered that the hotel we had been recommended by Kuoni, assign you a restaurant based on the room category booked. And if you wanted to book a different restaurant for the evening, you had to get up at 5am to queue and book! This was the first thing the Kuoni rep FAILED to inform us about and we only discovered following our own research. As we were planning our honeymoon, we didn't fancy a 5am wake up call to try and book a restaurant! We also discovered that the weather in the Maldives was pretty much certain for rain during the time we would be visiting - something else the Kuoni rep FAILED to tell us. We rang up within 2-3 days of paying the deposit and Kuoni refused to refund our £500 despite the fact that the flights hadn't even been released yet (as we were booking more than 12 months before travel) and they would have had plenty of time to re-sell the holiday that we had been fraudulently recommended and sold. Kuoni seem to add on an extortionate commission rate - we ended up organising our own honeymoon, visiting 3 places in Italy, with all internal flights, luxury accommodation and beautiful weather for the same price we would have paid for sitting on a rainy island in the Maldives, eating the same food every night! Kuoni are holding £450 of our money (they charged us £50 to move OUR MONEY into a holding account!) We do NOT want to use this money on another holiday with Kuoni as their commission rates are disgusting. This is the first time I have ever been compelled to write a negative review. If Kuoni are as great as they make out to be - why won't they return our deposit and carry on recommending overpriced holidays to everyone else?

Fantastic experience: We recently booked the holiday of a lifetime to East Africa with Joanne at the Meadowhall branch. The itinerary was meticulously put together by Joanne and included sightseeing in Stone Town in Zanzibar, staying at the Zanzibar Serena Hotel, a 3 night Luxury Safari in the Selous Game Reserve staying at the Serena Mivumo River Lodge and finally a 10 night stay at the extremely luxurious Baraza beach resort again in Zanzibar. Joanne was very friendly, helpful and professional and thanks to her knowledge and attention to detail we had the most wonderful experience. Although we were travelling alone everything was taken care of from airport transfers and private transfers to and from our holiday destinations. It all went like 'clock work'. I would highly recommend anyone wishing to book a bespoke holiday should speak to Joanne first!
