Negative experience: BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND NO COMPASSION the 14th of May I booked a family hoilday to disneyland paris with your branch in Victoria Square. It was a much needed break as my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and as you can imagine it has been a really hard year. I rang your office and ask if my daughter was able to fly as her passport was just under 3 months and i was advised that this was OK as we were only traveling to pairs. Got to the airport with two very excited children only to be told that my daughter couldnt fly as the passport hadn't enough date on it. As you can imagine myself and my parnter and two children were in a terrible state. I rang the office I booked it threw and they advised me that there was nothing they could do to help me all I wanted was some sort of guidance as it was a very expensive hoilday. And after the year we have had I thought that maybe someone would help. I have then spoke to the manager of hays travel and explained to him what happened but as the conversation was over the phone with the women that told me my daughter could fly. And that there was nothing in writing that they said that it was OK for her to fly. I was made to feel like I was lieing. I am not a horrible person but I honestly am thinking of taking this further as I just can't afford to lose so much money. Could you please get back to me asap. The flight and hotel and disney tickets were booked threw yous. I am still waiting on the manager getting bk to me.

Positive experience: Have done all contact over the phone but can't fault them they were extremely helpful and, if needed to speak, went to the portadown branch staff welcoming and friendly

Fantastic experience: Cheap holiday plus very helpful in Kennedy way
Negative experience: Booked a 3 night stay in Amsterdam for myself and my wife. Made the booking in May and paid in full only to be told on the 2nd September that the holiday was cancelled due to the plane not filling up(easyjet). Trip wasn't until December! Now the 23rd September and still not refunded the £530 paid. Was told originally would be 28 working days, then told 14 working days until refunded. Seems this happens a lot with Hays Travel, putting up holiday deals that end up getting cancelled. Will never use again
Negative experience: Usually deal with Hayes at Abbeycentre good customer service. Phoned these people about a holiday and the girl answered the phone said she was busy with a customer and would ring back I am still waiting 2 weeks later. Went to Glengormley and they were having a lock in not open to walk ins.
Negative experience: Been trying to sort a cancellation to our holiday as a week. Phonecall after phonecall still no further forward no one seems to like ringing us back with an answer. Told by one member we could cancel and get 80% of our money back but one day later told by a different member that we aren’t allowed any. We are still trying to find out if we can cancel our booking a week later.. service is awful and would never book with them again
Positive experience: Booked through hays travel in newry, Andy was very patient and professional and kept us informed at all times, he is a gem, unfortunately when we went in to get our tickets a member of staff who didn't even bother to look for them informed us that there were no tickets and all of our documents were online, we insisted that we got a phone call from hays telling us to come in and get our tickets, reluctantly she went to check and came back with the said tickets, our holiday could've been ruined turning up at the airport with no tickets due to the fault of a disinterested travel agent. Went in recently to look about holidays for next year, I dealt with the same person, found 3 options and asked for them to be printed out, she only printed one out, the most expensive one, Margaret in hays travel newry is lovely to deal with, she is very helpful and professional also. It hasn't put us off using hays travel but I'll just be careful who I deal with.
Fantastic experience: I have booked 3 holidays through Hays travel and each time the service I have received has been excellent. All three of my holidays have been booked through Donna at Hays Victoria Square. She is very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. We have never had any issues and anything that we needed to know Donna was always very quick in advising us. I would highly recommend booking through Hays Travel.

Negative experience: Be careful buying a holiday from Hays, the peace of mind guarantee is a total lie.We were promised that everything would be covered and we could cancel up to 6 weeks before our holiday. When it came to it, they told us we actually needed to cancel 12 weeks before our holiday or we would be would lose 40% of our holiday. We chased them for a month and they still wouldn't give us all of our money. The woman who sold the holiday was Savannah and she knew we were going away to get married but had no problem lying to us.
Negative experience: Worst travel agent in Belfast. Selling holidays that they dont know will even be able to go on, then want 480 pounds to transfer to another holiday that may not go either.
