Fantastic experience: Our host, Maeve, was excellent and introduced us to all the local owners of the venues we visited. A combination of history + good food + great drinks, whats not to love!

Fantastic experience: Thank you for the great Belfast Food tour @Maeve. It's been a great day - we really had a lot of food and much fun. Maeve knows many informations about the local companies or the family behind them and this has been interesting. We will definitely book another tour (maybe gin or whiskey) if we will visit Belfast again. I won't publish food-pictures from today here - it should be a surprise for you where you're gonna eat/drink on your tour. Book the Food tour, it's worth it.

Fantastic experience: I had a really fabulous experience on the Belfast Food Tour with Maeve. I don’t want to spoil the tour for anyone else, but even as someone who has lived in Belfast for some time, I discovered some new hidden gems! Maeve provided a thoughtful blend of information on the food and drinks, local history and plenty of laughter along the way. Our group was a lovely size and really bonded during the tour. Highly recommend to tourists and locals alike. I look forward to enjoying some of Taste & Tour’s other offerings in future - but equally, would be very happy to do the Belfast Food Tour again!

Fantastic experience: The guide Alex was great - I learned loads I didn't know about cocktails. Also, the places we went were lovely and we got just the right amount of information each time. And finally, not too much walking as I'm not a great walker but it was absolutely fine for me..

Fantastic experience: We only managed to get on this tour from the wait list on the day of the tour. It was the best decision we made on our first day in Belfast! Cathy was a fantastic guide full of fabulous local history and lots of fun facts and a clear passion for what she does. This 4 hour tour covering a wide range of artisan food and drink across NI was the perfect way to learn about this great city. Highlights were: Belfast Bap Boozy chocolate Fancy cheese Finished off by an interesting local rum, but there was much much more! Would heartily recommend. Only walking food tour we have ever done where we were the only non locals!.

Fantastic experience: It was wonderful and every venue and owner was so pleasant and kind. As tourists it was very fulfilling to see all the local spots in this part of the city. I would definitely recommend if you have the time to spend and definitely worth the price

It was also lovely to meet and hear from local business owners and their passion for local food. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Our guide, Olivia was brilliant! Such good knowledge and storytelling and all round good craic. The places we visited were great and all very different. It was so nice to discover a few new gems in my own city.

Fantastic experience: The Wine Wander tour was great and our guide Marie Elena was super. She looked after everyone well and was a mine of information. Direct wine shipments started the tour and our talk there was very informative with three lovely wines to taste. In total there were around 9 wines, on the tour with a good mix of white, rose and red, in different venues. We did get some food, which was super, but not until around 2.15/2.30 so I would advise a good breakfast before the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the chats we had with fellow wanderers. A very enjoyable way to spend 4 hours on a saturday.

Positive experience: Enjoyed our excursion from NCL with the guides. Split us into two groups because of the size for several of the venues, small accommodations. Expected more small bite type “tastes” of local cuisine. Eel seemed intriguing if offered. First bar was seasoned potatoes with the whole group. Yes Irish indeed but not what was expected. The last stop was the whole group with selection of lamp stew or seafood chowder. Best memory was the local market and selection of cheeses, and meats. Owner was very accommodating. Outside tables and chance to shop the market. Keep in mind drink select was primarily cider, beer or wine, so us not drinkers only choice is water. Really enjoyed the ladies interaction with the group. A great way to get to know Belfast from a local perspective. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Edinburgh Tour - Our tour guide Courtney was superb and delivered an excellent experience. The balance of history and stories was ideal and the food was delicious and a great variety. Mixing the traditional with the immigrant stories was a nice aspect. Thoroughly recommend.

Rachel was brilliant—her knowledge of the local food scene, warm personality, and infectious enthusiasm made the tour so enjoyable. She took us to a wonderful selection of venues, each offering a unique and delicious taste of Belfast. The food options were outstanding, from traditional local fare to more modern twists, and every bite was a delight. If you're in Belfast, this tour is a must-do, and Rachel is the perfect guide to show you the city's vibrant brunch culture! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: The host, Paul, was amazing and so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history of cocktails. I've been on quite a few cocktail tours some bad and some really good, but this one was by far the best due to the quality of the drinks and the knowledge base around them. Also a great set of people were on the tour, and a few friends were made. Definitely worth the money and then some!.

Fantastic experience: Bought a taste and tour in Belfast whilst on holiday there. Great fun not knowing where we were going or what we were going to get to eat or drink. Went back to re visit 3 of the places again. I dare say on our next visit will try the other venues out too. Great value, awesome food and Sarah was a very informative host. All I all fully recommend giving it a go. Great gift idea for someone!!!

Fantastic experience: The tour guide Rae was fantastic! She promised to show us things we never knew before or had seen before in Belfast and she did not disappoint! The venues and stops on the tour were also great, we were expecting to stop at the ‘usual’ popular locations but we were brought to some places we hadn’t been before so this was brilliant.

Fantastic experience: I booked this tour for a group of colleagues visiting from England/Wales. Our guide Barry had us laughing, taking in all the great spots of Belfast and was full of information/stories. The Food and Drink was amazing!. All 12 people enjoyed themselves immensely..

Fantastic experience: Courtney made the tour so personable, it was really pleasant touring the city with her. She had great knowledge of all the cuisine available to us. The choices of food and restaurants were good, and we got a great sampling of the different kinds of beer and liquor available in Edinburgh.

Fantastic experience: Gin Jaunt was enjoyable, and as the tour went on it became more enjoyable (probably because of the amount of gin consumed). 8 full measures/cocktails. Great days craic with a great bunch of people and our guide Dave. Unfortunately the drinking went on after the tour ended so a little fragile today. Highly recommend, I have done the Taste tour, the whiskey tour and the gin tour (twice)

Fantastic experience: Ronan did a great job on Saturday guiding our group. It was fun to experience all the different gins and visit a range of bars, some I'd not been to before. Mixing it up by providing a combination of G&Ts and cocktails was a great idea to showcase gin in different ways. A pretty perfect way to spend any afternoon!.

Fantastic experience: A great day out in Belfast on the Belfast Taste & Tour cocktail circuit. A fantastic way to visit places and taste food/ drinks you otherwise would not know about. Nice thing to do as a family but also an opportunity to talk to others on the tour. Alex, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the drinks and expertly shepherded us from one place to the other. I would definitely consider this and other tours again - thoroughly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: Cocktail tour is a must! Got to be a tourist at home, Alex our host was so wonderful and knowledgable. We got to go to venues we wouldn’t usually see or know about. Drinks were strong and nice to have things we would never usually order. 8 drinks for £70 with pre booked tables and learning about cocktails was great value and would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I took the food tour in mid-September 2023. Maeve was a great tour guide - offering insights to the food, the producers/vendors, and what sets them apart. We had the opportunity to try a lot of different food and beverages. At each stop, there was an alternative taste for the vegetarians and the non-alcohol drinkers. Our tour group was about 20 people, many from Northern Ireland and Ireland. We enjoyed getting to sit with different members of the tour at the different stops and exchanging stories about the food, our travels, and life. The only negative was that we should have taken the tour earlier in our stay in Belfast - leaving that afternoon deprived us of the opportunity to be repeat visitors to the shops on the tour. Highly recommend!
