Marco Polo Travel Advisory Service

Established in 1989 and proudly based in Bristol, Marco Polo Travel Advisory Service is an independent, ABTA Guaranteed and AITO Specialist Travel Agency that blends decades of industry experience with a genuine passion for global exploration. As inveterate travelers themselves, the founders and staff bring an unparalleled depth of knowledge to every consultation, ensuring that your journey is not just planned, but meticulously crafted to reflect your personal desires and travel style.

What truly sets Marco Polo apart is their 'can-do' attitude and creative expertise. They specialize in designing complex, tailor-made itineraries that often go beyond the standard brochures available at high-street agencies. Whether you are seeking a serene beach holiday, a complex round-the-world flight routing, or a unique adventure, the team works tirelessly to put together unique combinations that highlight the best of a destination. They are not afraid to offer honest, expert advice, ensuring that your dreams are matched with practical, well-timed realities—such as advising against a Caribbean honeymoon during hurricane season.

The agency prides itself on continuous education and improvement. Staff members frequently travel to explore new destinations and update their knowledge of old favorites, ensuring that the products offered remain top-quality and relevant. By actively encouraging customer feedback, they monitor the quality of every tour operator and service provider they recommend. As an AITO specialist, clients gain access to hundreds of exclusive travel products not found in typical agencies. Additionally, Marco Polo acts as an agent for ATOL holders for air-inclusive holidays, providing financial protection and the security of ABTA membership, all while ensuring the booking process is as seamless and stress-free as the holiday itself.
