Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic holiday, our coach driver Brett was amazing was so helpful and could have a chat and a laugh with him,always had time for people and very approachable if needed him,even at the hotel he was brilliant. Always keeps us informed while traveling aswel so we knew what was happening when leaving and arriving at places.Would definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: We use Cawthornes for our day trips on a regular basis. We would highly recommend Jamie and his team of drivers. We’ve just got back from Bury Market and Tim our driver today has been brilliant. We still have a number of day trips to look forward to this year including 5 days in Scotland and the Thursford Spectacular we can’t wait keep up the good work Jamie and team from the Rotherham gang.

Negative experience: This shocking company have just let 150 football away day fans down last minute. This is a service they advertise on their Web page. From other reviews it looks like they are unreliable. Stay clear!

Negative experience: No show of two coaches, no communication and paid in advance. Would leave 0 stars if possible. Disgrace of a company, avoid at all costs.

Negative experience: Let down over 150 people today for prebooked and paid for coaches to football. Just didn’t turn up leaving people stood in the rain including small children. Avoid

Negative experience: Just doesn't show up regularly to the interchange with no notification or anything so people can make arrangements. This has happened 4 times over the time I've taken it and it probably won't be the last. Just all round unreliable service.

Negative experience: Shocking, left almost 100 people in the rain at 7am and didn’t turn up, didn’t ring and let anyone know there was any issues, not answering the phone, nothing. Absolute disgrace. Wouldn’t even give a star.

Negative experience: Don't book with this disgraceful company, 3 buses didn't even turn up for football fans, didn't answer the phone just literally took their money.

Negative experience: Completely unreliable. Left 150 customers consisting of friends, families, young children, oap's ( which was paid for before £3000 ) stranded in the rain, 1 bus cancelled 12 hours before, the other 2 just didn't turn up..answered the phone once then turned the phone off. Its not the first time we had issues, gave this company 2, 3 and 4 chances, regularly late, coaches broken down, still gave them benefit of the doubt, never not actually turned up. do not trust. Zero conscience, completely unforgiving at the fact of leaving children and oap's standing in the rain.

Negative experience: Coach for a trip to Halifax, the hearing go stuck on and the driver couldn't turn it off so the coach was very uncomfortable. The coach clearly had issues as was lacking power which the driver commented on but still carried on at some points doing less than 30mph on the M1. At the first stop the coach broke down and the driver couldn't get hold of anyone and so a coach full of people left to make their own way to the final destination. The coach got sorted and picked us up, but the coach clear has a very tired engine and the firm should be dealing with the issues. Looking at some of the feedback clearly this coach has been problematic for some time. Would not recommend thenlm. Coach reg FJ58LSC

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting left almost 100 Sheffield United fans out in the rain coaches didn't turn up didn't even the decency to let anyone know they weren't coming, absolute shambles of a company. Wouldn't even give 1 star if didn't have to.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing day trip with these guys, they were so accommodating. We went on one of their coaches for a daytrip. Excellent value for money and the driver was great. Definitely recommend and can't wait to go on a few more day trips in the summer with you guys. Coach was great plenty of room which was good as I had my children with me. Great experience from start to finish.

Positive experience: Coach trip to Beverley market and hull, 22nd June. Coach was half an hour late picking up in sheffield. Got to rotherham had to change coaches. Arrived in Beverley at 11.30 and there was no market,it was cancelled. Not happy and I wasn't the only one that wasn't happy too.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t do enough for their passengers, friendly drivers.

Negative experience: No aircon on bus and heater was full blast to point it was swelteringand uncomfortable, reclining mechanism on seat was broken and bus struggled up the hills over the M62. If Cawthornes send out coach's in that state I question how good is their maintenance and roadworthiness

Negative experience: Since Cawthornes have been in the public bus service replacing my first bus the x74 I’ve had a number of problems. Firstly there is no card or even a ticket machine to buy a weekly rider which would be cheaper than paying 2 pound a journey which is expensive. Secondly I had a bus driver that was very rude and inconsiderate towards me when he wouldn’t take a note for change. He said if you don’t have change you won’t be let on the bus, I shook my head in frustration and then he said I’m not letting you on this bus from now on. Poor service and rude driver.

Negative experience: Bus was 30mins late. Toilet was already broken which eventually made the bus smell. Driver tried putting the air con on only to then get it stuck on heat when it was already a hot day which made the bus unbreathable and the already bad smell worse. Quite a few got the train back due to the conditions on the bus. Those unfortunate enough to be on the return journey had the same issues again. Quite a few of us were sick later a few days after. Never again
